Like he had planned...this was a long and drawn out revenge. It was best served cold but he could deal with it. He went to eating berries and gathering nuts, the berries..didn't agree with him in fact they made him feel outright sick. But it was good ploy, he even rolled in dust and dirt to obscure his dark black and green hide, more brown he was now camouflaged and didn't smell quite as dangerous. The fekarat however wasn't stupid, it knew that he wasn't a leaf eater and that he could spit fire.

He continued to eat the amphibians that were near the lake, it wasn't very good in fact he was getting sick of the slimey flesh and the rubber texture. He had hoped fish lived in the waters but the pond was so ..small that it help primarily just the creatures he had been eating this whole time. Once day when the sun was its hottest he lay, his eyes half closed in the sun. He watched lazily as the creature he was tricking come up into the trees. It hadn't shown its face in a couple of hours though it had been very interested in his sudden change of behavior.

Trying not to smile he continued lay in a relaxed state. Not to say that he wasn't enjoying the sun on his back and his neck. His head was dipped low in a resting position and his breathing was even. That was the biggest thing to keep himself relaxed and looking like he was half asleep. There was a pile of nuts to his right, some had large teeth marks in them as he had tried and tested them and they had been quite terrible in taste. So he had smashed a few of them and then left them piled there. Luckily for the fekarat...?

The idea was to lure the creature down, make it think it was going to make off with a huge heist...and then...snap crunch and revenge was finally served.

It was agonizing to lay there, watching with half closed eyes as this creature slunked down its tree and then back up again...down and then up...down and then ...up again. It was moving in such a manner that was fitting for a nervous rodent. It seemed like ages before the thing was brave enough to approach the pile of nuts. It took one and then fled. No reaction from the drakien.

It ...grew bolder with every nut it 'stole'. Soon taking two or three at a time and then scurrying back up into its tree. Depositing the nuts who knows where before its gluttonous nature forced it back down to get the last of the pile. It wasn't until the very last nut that he made his move. It was so sudden and quick the poor thing only managed a strangled scream as his teeth sunk into its thin furry body.

In the end the fekarat was a bony hairy meal...hardly worth all that effort to kill. But ...it was besides the point. No one mocked this firani drakien..and lived to tell about it.
