After his encounter with the daibi drakien he had decided that it was time to see about doing his own hunts. Getting up and stretching the dark skinned firani drakien rolled his neck and gave a quiet draconic laugh. Yes it was time to hunt, though...not in the same area as Epyhah, that drakien seemed positively barbaric when it came to mentality ad he was sure he would start an all out war with him if he hunted in 'his territory'. And though he was positive he could...easily out brain the dibai drakien he didn't want to attempt to out muscle him...that drakien seemed to be all brawn but with little to no brains. So he would hunt here but..carefully.
The firani drakien laughed before the took wing and went about his business, he would find a yasli dragon and 'track' it his own way. Not with a blood trail like Eyphah but with his wits and intelligence, and after discovering a ysali dragon he settled down and watched it. Unlike Epyhah he wasn't going to mark the dragons and then hunt them down. Instead he was going to watch them...observe their habits and figure out the best way of killing them, besides blood trails would only end up getting confusing especially if no rain came about to wash the old trails away. Going around in circles seemed like a giant waste of time.
Lucky for him it was easy enough to find a ysali dragon, it had come by his hiding spot only a few hours after he had settled into his hiding spot. In fact he not only saw one but several, they seemed almost like rabbits filling every nook and cranny of these woods. But rather than attack any of the many that past him it right away he observed them. Watching as they moved past him sometimes even traveling in pairs. They went about their business until he finally decided it was times to focus on one of them and this one was fairly vigilant as it went about its business.
Watching it hunt, find water, protect its territory even ..flirt to some every female ysali dragon it came across. To some this may of been considered a very boring task, but not to D. This firani drakien loved to learn and he learned more watching this simple yasli dragon than he ever would of by hunting them alone. Though watching its pathetic attempts at trying to secure a mate was almost too much for him to bear.
The ysali dragon itself was starting to get antsy though, it kept wondering if it was being watched...and by all rights it was, but...Dapyhir was very careful his eyes narrow slits so that the green glow wouldn't be as noticeable. His dark complexion helped him hide in bushes and in dark crevices. By the fourth day it was getting very agitated. This...thought the firani drakien was long enough to start ...the next stage of his plan.
