Clan History The Shirubā clan is a major clan from the village of Kirigakure, the clan history dates all the way to the creation of the hidden mist village. Right from the start the Shirubā clan was loyal to the village of their origins, Kirigakure. War after war the Shirubā were always there fighting for the sake of their nation, their village, their home. Growing up in the same village as the Hōzuki clan has made them rivals due to the similar signature jutsu. Both clans see themselves as rivals, the Shiruba clan see's them as jealous because of their higher position in government. As the great nation flourished, the clan became larger and better then ever. Generation after generation the clan prospered, each generation giving birth to greater shinobi then the last. Unlike many other clans, the Shirubā clan has an abnormal amount of customs and traditions. From the youngest of ages the children begin training right away, there is usually no time for "fun" of any kind. While the method of harsh training at such a young may seem a little extreme, it has molded the greatest shinobi of legend. Different methods of training are used depending of which blood the soon-to-be shinobi's comes from, the first elder's family is known simply as the Kōdai, meaning grand, brilliant, magnificent, etc. As the descendants of Ryoku himself, the first elder, they are known to follow the most strict of training in order to become wise and strong just as their ancestors.
Clan's Abilities/Techniques By combining water, earth and yin chakra natures, members of the Shirubā Clan of Kirigakure use mercury for a variety of things, from armor, to shape-shifted objects, to clones, to poisonious globs etc. They aren't affected by the mercury's poisonous nature because of their natural resistance to it. But when they use Mercury, they use it's poisonous nature to their advantage, always trying to poison their opponets. The Shirubā Clan tend to keep a small/large amount of mercury with them at all times, since they can create a lot of mercury from a single piece or amount. It is also possible to create mercury from metal with the yin chakra of the Shirubā, but that takes time.

Description: The signature technique of the Shiruba clan, as stated users of this technique can shift into multiple types of mercury forms by will ranging from solid, liquid, gas, etc. There is one major drawback however, fire release is very deadly towards the user while they are in any mercury related state. While this is a technique it is also a talent that comes to Shiruba members by average means, they can shift into different forms without the use of chakra. In this form lightning style techniques attract lightning release techniques like a steel rod.
Mercury tends to be a silver liquid when used but depeneding on how skilled the Shirubā Clan member is, it can take a variety of forms and states, from solid and gas to just something in between opening up its usage.

- Kōton: Silver Bullet Technique

Description: A ninjutsu technique which can be used for both from short range to long range. Similar to the water gun technique, the user compresses a small amount of mercury on the index finger mimicking a firearm with the desired hand. The user then shoots a small drop of hardened mercury with awe inspiring speed and force able to pierce through five boulders from a great distance. After the first shot two more can be fired but lowered to a c ranking technique, afterwards it will take a three post cooldown.

Description: The user creates armor made of mercury that can be used both offensively and defensively. With the amount of mercury used to forge the armor just being near the mercury can cause light headedness and nausea. The technique can protect users from two c ranking techniques and four d ranking techniques.

Description: By manipulating nearby mercury, users can create a thin plate of the substance. Depending on the user it can be used in numerous ways, if one is skilled enough they can use the technique to keep them airborne, though this takes serious concentration and focus.

Description: The user spits globs of liquid mercury (any size) at the enemy. The globs then corrode through objects such as the ground, flesh, metals, and even poison an enemy if they make contact. If used with an Explosive Tag, the mercury can be spread across great distances, and if the user is highly skilled, they can actually control where they land using more handsigns.

Description: The user encases the target in a physical layer of mercury, as if not already dangerous enough with mercury's poisonous properties, the user can reduce the size of the mercury slowly crushing the target, Rokuro can also form spikes that can stab the target from within.

Description: Users command any nearby mercury to create a large spear that looks like a large senbon needle. This technique requires no handsigns, however in order to hurl/launch the technique at the target you first raise one of your arms and then lower the arm thus causing the needle to be hurled towards the desired target.

Description: While using a good amount of mercury and chakra, Rokuro creates clones out of the metal liquid. These clones can't stray too far from Rokuro or they will deform, the clones also can't use any ninjutsu but they can alter their forms into different mercury related states. If touched the target will be poisoned by the mercury that enters the bloodstream through the skin.

Description: Considered to be one of the strongest ninjutsu of the Shirubā clan, Rokuro creates a massive man made of mercury that is about the same size as the demonic statue of the outer path. Rokuro then fuses with the body and takes refuge within, while this is a powerful and helpful technique, it is also forbidden for a reason. The amount of chakra it takes out of the shinobi's reserves is on such a great scale that the only known people to have pulled it off so far have been Rokuro and the first clan head elder Ryoku. Then there is also the problem of finding enough mercury to use such a jutsu. The golem takes the form of an average man with feet and arms but it has no face. Once inside the user of the technique can use mercury release on a much more grand scale.
The Shirubā Clan's Silver Fist Style
Not only does the Shiruba clan excel at using ninjutsu but are also gifted with a unique form of taijutsu. By using the mercury transformation technique the user hardens the fist by transforming it into a physical form of mercury harder then all of it's steel brethren. To perfect it's battle use users may tend to create spikes on their fist, should the user be an expert on medical ninjutsu and have the ability to increase their strength to super human then they are instantly considered a deadly threat.

Description: The user flows chakra through all parts of their body after hardening the desired parts into metal through the solid version of the mercury transformation technique, which increases their defensive power to its utmost limits. Furthermore, the destructive power of physical attacks is increased, making this a great all-purpose technique. It becomes D ranking in chakra cost if used in succession for two turns in a row, afterwards its the original cost.

Description: The users transform both their arms into big mallets. It's a very deadly form, one blow can send the target flying a mile away.

Description: The user sends an upward strike towards the target using chakra enhanced strength, this technique can easily break the targets jaw. While strong and deadly it is one of those taijutsu that can cause enormous strain on the users body.
