Aiden jogged towards the training fields, only half paying attention to his surroundings. The trainee was currently in the middle of a conversation with his weapon, which was the main cause of his distraction. Aiden chuckled at Souji's sarcastic tone. "I told you already I would throw them in the hamper later." was all he said in his defense.

The only way Aiden would ever be able to explain what happened was he heard someone shouting-

-As the earth underneath him exploded, sending him flying several feet-

-His ears ringing as he hit the dirt. A few moments later, someone was next to him, their voice hard to make out through the ringing.

-"It feel?" Finally, things seemed to clear up a bit, revealing an extremely scruffy looking man wearing a pilot cap. It looked like he had not slept for days, as evident from his crazed expression and heavy bags under his eyes. "Did my like Runic anti-booby seeking minefields work? Do you feel greatly destroyed by the Markanator?"

He looked at Aidan expectantly.
