Being intimate with Tuck had Nevada curious about many things. She was his friend when he wanted, Lover if he needed, and if he asked, a cuddle buddy at night to keep them from remember the terrible things that bumped at night.
What she didn't know beyond that was the more...sibling things. She had of course met Gnat but not so...personally. More like watching like a creeper on the sidelines.
So when instead of going to Tuck's door and knocking, she reversed the process to do it on Gnat's door, hoping the sun trainee would be there.

For good measure, Gnat added, "I'M BUSY FANTASIZING ABOUT YOUR PAL EVAN."
"SEXUALLY."

Nevada blinked at the loud voice from the door before chuckling.
She wondered how well that worked on Tuck.
"Actually, I'm not Tuck Hun~ It's Nevada, Don't know if you remember me?" Nevada's voice was a lower feminine muffle against the door, seeing as she wasn't one to raise her voice. "I'm sure Evan would have no problem with you doing so?" At least she hoped not cause then...
Awkward.

Gnat cracked open the door.

Silence.
Had Nevada said something wrong?
Then the door cracked open and Tuck's twin was there. Much smaller then Tuck himself but nonetheless a twin. They even had rooms next to each other. So adorable. And a lot of envious.
"Hi." Nevada suddenly felt very shy and fidgetted a bit. "Um..I'm Nevada..." She repeated lamely. "I was wondering if perhaps you wanted...to hang out or..spar?" The mist wasn't even sure. How did one make friends without flirting.

She grinned mischieviously.
"Southern Nevada. Hey girl, I got ya number. Sure, we can hit the training grounds if you want."
She was bored anyway; having spent the last hour or so watching twitter. It was getting pretty old.

Nevada's face most defenitly blew up with redness.
"Uhm...I didn't realize...Tuck told you about that." Oh good lord. She would've shared with Alaska but...her twin was a girl too. "hi, yes spar."
And now Nevada was completely thrown off her game. As to travel back to it, she eased down, falling into a lazy smile.
"Hows the island life treating you Gnat? Its no beaches and bare chested men but..." Nevada turned to the other girl. Small talk to field because she was a terrible socializer. This is why she had no girl friends...what did she say to them.

"Aww, s**t, he didn't tell me nothin'. I overheard y'all chit chattin' the other night - unless you're sayin' something DID happen?" She seemed to vaguely remember something about that being on twitter.
Gnat smiled, and her eyes went distant. "Now, I dunno about that bare chested men part, I've seen my fair share. An' we got some fine beaches. All 'n all, it ain't as bad as I expected." She stretched as they walked, and she couldn't hide her pleased grin. She looked like a cat who had gotten into the cream.
Or pie.

"Chit..Chatting?" She blinked and then her hand went up to her cheekbone, Wondering if the bruise showed. "I was just...saying...something." Uh oh...busted by Gnat without even really being busted.
"That's good." She laced her hands together. "Sometimes the Island can really get you down but....try not to let it you know?" She frowned, thinking of her own drama before looking away.
"You got someone you're eyeing here Gnat?"

"Heh, oh- what?" And now it was Gnat's turn to blink and chuckle awkwardly.
"Oh, uh, yeah, I was uh, eyein' someone alright."
There had been a lot to see.
"Anyway, uh. Yeah. So where you from?" she asked, hoping to change the subject for both their sakes. She really did not want to hear any details of Tuck's exploits, especially sexual ones.

"Oh well..." This sure was awkward, Person who slept with brother talking to sister. All the awkward.
"Me? Not from Nevada." She joked, "Or Alaska either." She cocked her head. "Maine, Bangor Maine. Smaller town, suburbs and lots of water. Cold in the winter, kind of cold in the summer." She thought fondly of the water surrounded port city but...."Then I ran away, searching for my twin Alaska and got picked up by the hunter patrol."
The closer to the training fields, the more fidgety she got.
"Tuck told me a little about himself. Went to college, left, got in the army, things happened and now he is here. What about you? What brought you here?"

Gnat listened to the last part closely, and frowned, a little jealous. She knew as much, but it was mostly assumptions - certainly more than he'd ever told her.
"Somethin' broke into my apartment. One of the investigators was like, a plant, yennow. Someone from here I guess. Tol' me they could help me. No one else would believe me." She shook her head. That thing, whatever it was that had been stalking her - she still sometimes woke up in the dead of night with chills.
"It ain't that interesting." She continued on in silence for a while. They were almost there, anyway.

"One of the investigators was a plant? Oh...OOOOOOOOOOHHHH" Nevada had a moment to let that sink in, "I gotcha, so someone broke in...They sent a hunter to recruit you and you and your brother happen to wake up at the same time? Talk about luck..."
She blinked and then sighed, "No one believed us about the shadows either. Our mom did...for awhile. Then we stopped talking about them all together because our dad was a control freak." As they hit the grounds, Nevada turned to Gnat and smiled.
"You wanna start beautiful?"

Nevada stretched too, though her weapon didn't require the physical demand that other weapons did.
Of course she paid attention that Gnat had a gauntlet, curious as to how the weapon would suffice from long range before blinking.
"Oh...I thought Tuck might've told you or something." She smiled fondly, "I have a identical twin sister, She's podded with the others. Her name is Alaska. Waiting for her to wake up." She looked extremely sad for a bit.
"Although I hear I'm not the only one without my twin woken...I think Tuck and you are the luckiest that you did at the same time."
She cocked her gun and waited for Gnat to make a move.
