Elnath - DMC Note:The Wraith is a rouge wraith, but you can still summon your own wraith and have it act as rebellious/obedient as you wish. Just be aware that exposing your wraith does place it in danger if it decides to absorb energy as it becomes more corporeal and thus attackable.
As someone who always strove to go beyond his own energy quota, hunting down civilians in low populated areas became the norm each night not spent at home. Wolframite decided to step out after a early dinner to grab a few energy orbs near the docks, and was looking for any members of the drug dealers, the occasional homeless person, or even a few stray workers who were lingering around.
Stepping down, he had spotted a pair of truck drivers near their parked vehicles. There didn't seem to be any cameras about in this area, mostly lined with old factory buildings and storage units. Moving alongside them, he spent no time grabbing one, knocking them out with a quick hit to the head, and then taking the other and holding them in his arms, awkwardly due to his height, and letting him lay down as he started to collect some energy.
What he didn't expect was that a wraith was also in the area, moving down the way towards him. To Wolframite, it was distant and honestly, working and concentrating hard on energy collecting, seemed more like a youma than anything else.

Truth be told, the docks wasn't exactly one of the places that Elnath had a habit of covering be it during her patrols or on days set aside for energy gathering. Tonight was different for what was initially supposed to be yet another ordinary evening spent on patrolling and getting herself better acquainted with the layout of Destiny City had turned into a hunt for a rogue mirror wraith that she had the 'fortune' of coming across.
It was really odd indeed for no one in the Dark Mirror court seemed to have any inkling as to when this phenomenon of the mirror wraiths, which were supposed to work with them in gathering energy, defying their orders and even at times turning on the Dark Mirror Senshis themselves truly began or why it happened. Yet they couldn't quite turn a blind eye to the rather delicate yet dicey situation that they now faced and the standing consensus as far as the Senshi of Hair was aware of, was to keep energy gathering to the bare minimum for now while subduing any of these rogue mirror wraiths that they might come across.
Subdue equating to multiple clumsy attempts that involved lots of flailing and basically doing everything within their power in as non-violent a way possible to shove these creatures back into the mirror shard that they carried with them at all times. Leaping from the top of one container to another, she kept her gaze trained on the wraith the entire time, an irate look crossing her face when she first felt then saw the Negaverse General who was already in the area. Ain't it just peachy that he could possibly be involved from here on now?
Dropping to ground level, she quickly made her way over, her hand palming the shard she had with her as she hoped to intercept the wraith before it did anything stupid as these things always had a habit of doing as of late.
Vesuvius was prowling the docks because he liked to, as any swashbuckler should. He liked the feel of the ocean air on his skin and liked the sights, if not all the smells, of the ocean. He had no idea about the rogue wraiths or what that might mean on his side of the fence. In fact, he was pretty much just out enjoying the air on a much needed constitutional.
He felt the chaos agent coming closer and swore he would never get used to that. Feeling people...it just seemed unnatural. Really, that was the whole point of this powered life and magic and all. It wasn't natural and yet here he was with it. So in the grand scheme unnatural sometimes existed. Didn't mean he had to like it but there he was.
He let it approach knowing it could feel him, too, and he just reclined against the wooden beams of the dock worn smooth by years of wind and sand. He wasn't looking for a fight tonight, not unless he had to. Usually it came down to it, with the other side.
He sighed. So much for a little respite.

The more signatures he felt, the more he tried to hurry up. Energy stealing was not a easy process. It took a lot of concentration, and seeing as you didn't want to harm the human you were draining, you couldn't just push them too far or else you'd push them past the limit. He wanted this energy, but at the same time he was vulnerable to the Order signature. There were other feelings, distant that, with his mind split, he couldn't tell much in regards to detail aside from that it wasn't Order, it was darker, and to him that was safe. Youma rarely bothered him.
He continued to collect, having moved on to another, and wiped his brow as he continued. It was as he started working on the other unconscious driver that he felt the signature fast approaching him, and the more it moved at him, the more alarms sounded. Something wasn't right.
Pulling from his concentration, watching the wisps of ghostlike energy solidify into a very small, pathetic-sized orb, Wolframite turned in time to see a ghasty ghostlike figure over him and grab for the orbs in his hands. The shock was enough to have him paling as he jumped back and fell over the corpse, the orbs falling and rolling down the tarmac.
The wraith turned it's head and raced after them. It was then that Wolframite felt the other signature and looked over at the other Chaos member. The outfit was not of the standard uniform. Senshi - but no. No gapping hole. Not corrupted.
His eyes instantly narrowed as he got up. "What are you doing?!" He shouted. Sending a wraith to go after his orbs?!!! That was just a new low!!!

It would be so much easier if Elnath pulled back and let the mirror wraith have its own way with things. After all, why bother going through the trying process of saving its ethereal skin when it seemed hell bent on getting itself and, it would now seem as evident by the way Wolframite was tossing an irate look her way, her as well into hot soup? Not in any way pleased at all with the way things were going, she stopped in her tracks, attempting to maintain a calm composure as she shifted her attention to address the Negaverse General.
"Look. I can explain." She tucked the mirror shard away, having no need for it for the time being as she focused her efforts on making her intended course of action known to the other agent of Chaos. "It's not me who is making that wraith do what it just did. I'm here to take care of that in fact." She paused for a few seconds, letting Wolframite process what she had just related. The last thing that she would really want this situation to evolve into was for the General, Knight and mirror wraith to work against her.
That would, beyond a doubt, end very badly for sure.

Vesuvius peeked out at where he felt something very bad and very strong and something not quite as strong but still pretty bad. The whole area smacked of Chaos and here he was a tiny blip in the middle of it. Already he did not feel comfortable and the docks were nearly a second home for him. He should have been relaxed. He should have been happy with the wind on his face.
Freakin A!
Taking a swallow he stepped out from where he was already knowing he was going to be left broken and bleeding, if not killed outright, for stepping in where he didn't belong. These people were stronger than him and the wraith didn't seem to be minding its master.
"I'm not sure why you're demanding anything seeing as it isn't yours to begin with." He looked to Wolframite first. "I'm sure the person you stole it from would protest...if they could."
This was one of the parts of the job he hated - or rather he hated there was a need. Protecting the innocent had to come first. These people preying on the weak and innocent, using them. It nearly made his blood boil. So, for that reason alone braving death seemed very nearly worth it.

sorry guys. sort of forgot the point of Vesuvius in all this since you guys seem to be the ones with a real purpose what with actually using the energy.
NP, and don't worry. *Hugs* You're just as much a part of this rp as we all are. Just have fun.

"Take care of it? You're doing a GREAT job at that." Letting a wraith just run around and chasing after it. He nearly got his energy devoured by that thing, not to mention all his hard work collecting orbs. He at least knew how to handle his own tasks, but this wraith nearly put him in a very vulnerable situation.
The problem still wasn't fixed, and the wraith had went out in the parking lot between Wolframite and the Dark Court Member before it turned it's head at the knight. It now raced at Vesuvius!
"A little energy isn't going to hurt them. Not like a wraith. At least I show control, and they're just napping. They'll wake up in a bit." He assured the knight before his eyes went wide as he saw the wraith race at him. "I think you have a bigger problem!"

Elnath narrowed her eyes at the sarcasm in Wolframite's remark. Was that really necessary? Hmph. What did the Negaverse know about the workings of the Dark Mirror court and the mirror wraiths any way? "It's not my wraith to begin with so it's not as simple as ordering it around the way you do with your youmas General." She decided to educate him anyway for his benefit. Not that he seemed the sort that would listen as irate as he was with her and the wraith at the moment but it was still worth a long shot at least.
Besides, the Dark Mirror court and the Negaverse were still effectively allied with each other as far as she knew so some basic courtesy was due despite the bad start that the both of them had gotten off on. She too saw the wraith making its move towards Vesuvius and quickly moved to try to intercept it. There was no way for her to reach it before it reached its intended target however, hence the warning that she shouted at him in the hope that he would be able to evade it in time. "Watch out!"
What was a situation like this? A standoff? Cooperation? Vesuvius had zero experience with wraiths or DMC. He had little experience with members of Chaos in general but here was one that felt powerful, or more powerful than he was at any rate. So here he was between a rock and a hard place, a lone little page surrounded by enemies. What was that saying? The enemy of my enemy is my friend? Well, the Negaverse agent didn't seem to be too pleased with all of this. Hopefully that sentiment would apply.
"Oh, s**t!" Leave it to him to be a target for the rogue spirit. "What the hell does this thing do?"
He had no earthly idea what the DMC was or why the wraiths were on the fritz. He just happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time. Sometimes his life really liked to kick him in the balls. It wasn't a fair thing and Vesuvius felt he should make a protest or something if he managed to get through this experience intact.
"Does someone maybe want to help me here?"
The wraith passed through him and he felt a feverish flush down his body. He shuddered, feeling strange. He was definitely not looking forward to feeling that again.

"Then you won't mind me ripping it to pieces!" He shouted back, not caring much for a wraith that was owned by someone, and even less for a rogue wraith that had no owner. To him, wraith's were some weird abomination. Some tool or phantom the DMC brought up from that strange other realm they moved in. The youma were at least something he understood and could respect. They were the fighters of the past punished by the senshi and their Queen. Wraiths - he didn't know what they were, but they were part of the DMC and that meant he hated them.
Rushing over, he did not make it in time as he saw the wraith move through the knight. Startled, he moved over, looking at Vesuvius and honestly surprised the man wasn't on his knees. "You should be out." He said, honestly shocked. "They suck energy if they move through you." But that also meant he could soon hit it. Reaching into his pocket, he looked at the 2 orbs he had collected later that night and sighed. It would be a terrible sacrifice, but it was the only way to get a wraith to be solid enough to attack.
Taking both, he threw one and then the other at the wraith. One orb hit the wraith, and was ingested, making it a bit more solid. The other orb...completely missed.
What did you expect from a guy with one eye?

"As a matter of fact General, I'll very much mind that particular outcome and am hereby requesting that you refrain from destroying a potential asset to the DMC." Elnath retorted although she was pretty sure by now that Wolframite would pay no heed to her words if his actions by far were anything to go by. Sparing a moment to glance at Vesuvius and deciding that a little energy draining wouldn't affect the Page too adversely, she resumed her pursuit of the rogue wraith, calling out her attack the moment she got within range of the semi-ethereal creature.
"Tangling Tresses!"
Standing her ground, she watched as the tendrils of hair found their respective targets on the rogue wraith, holding it down as she closed the distance that remained between herself and it. "Stay away. Both of you. I'm only here to retrieve this bugger and then I'll be on my way." She turned to face both the Negaverse General and Page, the mirror shard that she carried with her in her hand before she added a small plead as if in an afterthought. "Please."

Tangling Tresses
Elnath is able to alter the properties of her hair and extend its length at will. With this attack, Elnath will plunge her hair into the ground only to have it emerge anywhere within a 4 feet radius around her when it will wrap tightly around up to 2 targets of her choice and anchor them to the ground in order to hamper their movement. Despite the strengthened nature of her hair, it remains susceptible to fire and separate body parts (arm, leg) from the same person will count as separate targets. Her hair can't be cut but higher staged powered characters (eternal senshis, generals, knights) will be able to tear through it, rendering it only effective for 5 seconds at most. This ability lasts for 10 seconds and can be used up to 3 times per battle with a cooldown period of 1 minute.
