Home to Todd and Tatyana van Kwil. The house is a bit odd on the outside, but still has that small pinch of cute that makes you want to see what's inside. After saving up for awhile, the inside is actually not too bad. The house is all drawn together by a flower theme that Tatyana picked and has strictly enforced, even in Todd's room.
Kitchen & Dining Room combo The kitchen is a little plain and offers all of the necessities that two people, and the occasional guest, need. They take turns doing the cooking, neither of them having much expertise as of yet. You may drive by and see some smoke rolling out the window.
Tatyana's Bedroom She keeps it as tidy as possible and has plenty of storage for all of her clothing, makeup and other important things she needs to function. She also has a rather large mirror that only supports her vanity.
Bathroom The bathroom is very simple and has a bathtub, sink and toilet. Not much time is spent here by either of them as Tatyana has everything she needs in her room.
Todd's Bedroom Todd's room is simple enough, yet manly enough to get the job done. He has blackout blinds, as you never know when the opportunity may arise and the mood need to be set. The decorative stairs have secret compartments in which he keeps all of his belongings.

It was getting late, but Todd wasn't focused as much on the time as he was the woman that he had with him. His feelings were entirely conflicted and one of his worst fears was unfolding right in front of him. This woman was controlling. The kind of woman that he had always sworn off. He needed to feel the rush of power, and what was he doing now? He was fumbling with his keys in attempts to unlock his house in order to feed her as she demanded. Something had went incredibly wrong at the Moon festival. He had just been trying to be nice to a beautiful girl who seemed to be in distress! How was he supposed to know that she would threaten him? Curses. Why did she have to be so lovely? Maybe he could've gotten away fast enough to keep himself safe. He was in pretty great shape, after all and he was almost certain that she had no way of knowing just how good of shape from the quick glance she had taken. Even with all of this information, here he was doing exactly what she had said. He had just met this woman and she somehow had him turning into a pile of mush and questioning everything he had ever known.
He finally got the door unlocked and extended his arm to flick the light on and then pushed the door the rest of the way open. "Make yourself at home. I'll start cooking dinner." It almost seemed like it was just a simple formality. With what he had already seen of this girl, he was certain that she would make herself at home with or without his approval. That should've been a sign for him to back down. Yet his heart was thumping with the curse that had been bestowed upon him since youth. She was lovely and he was bound and determined to do whatever he could to make her night wonderful. He dropped his ammo belt on the side table as he walked towards the kitchen and quickly scanned the cabinets for something to make. He grimaced as he saw the only thing that he could make that would not take too long and that he couldn't possibly screw up, spaghetti. It was packed full of carbs and he wouldn't advise anyone to eat carbs this late, even if it were in the name of love. However, there was no other obvious solution and he plucked it out and filled the pot up with some water. "So, why don't you tell me a little about yourself while I get this ready?" He called to her as he placed it on the stove and moved to lean against the wall. As he looked at her, he felt a bit of a chill. He couldn't possibly be attracted to someone that seemed to want control. Maybe she was just bold. Maybe there was some explanation other than her challenging his pride. Then again, maybe he was just desperately reaching for some sort of hope.

Anneliese didn't expect much for dinner. In all honesty, she had thought that a burger or maybe even a cup of instant noodles would have been it, and that would have been perfectly fine for her. However, here she was getting a home-cooked meal. She simply gave a blank stare around the place as she walked in. The man must have been very comfortable to let someone like her into his house. In fact, he must not have cared at all if he was giving her permission to pretty much do what she pleased. Good for him. It wasn't as though she did much though other than to follow the other into the kitchen and watch what he was doing. She crossed her arms as she mulled over his question. After all, she wasn't exactly interested in divulging information about herself, especially since it wasn't like she would learn anything out of it. Still, simple introductions were needed. "I'm Anneliese." She gave her short answer before redirecting a question back. "Why don't you tell me about yourself instead? There's nothing much to say about me. I'd rather hear about you than talk about myself." "Also... do you have a jacket or a shirt I can borrow? I'd rather not stay in this costume for any longer. If not, that's fine. I can go around topless." After all, these seashells were killing her, and as soon as she was going to get those things off, she was chucking them into the ocean.

At the mere thought of watching Anneliese walking around his house topless, he thought that his head was going to explode. Without saying anything, he walked by her and towards his room to grab her something. He thought of going into Tatyana's, but decided it'd be best if he didn't touch her stuff. The fact that this girl's name was so dangerously close to what he normally called his sister, was a bit unsettling. But, if he were willing to get past her entire personality, then he could probably handle the name thing. He grabbed the first t-shirt from his top drawer and after taking a good, long, deep breath, he walked back towards the kitchen. "This should be much more comfortable." He handed her the shirt before walking back to the stove and breaking the noodles into the boiling water. He turned back to her and leaned against the counter. What was he to tell about himself? They were both pretty boring people. He'd have to think of something to make this relationship work. No girl would ever want to put up with a boring guy, especially not one as beautiful as her.
He ran his hand through his hair, still trying to formulate the most exciting thing he could tell her about himself. "I'm Todd. I own the gym in town and worked as a personal trainer for awhile before that." Was that a good enough introduction? It wasn't like this was some sort of a job interview. Dammit, he shouldn't have told her all of his work history here. He was making this biggest fool out of himself. "And I must say I'm not the best cook around. Hopefully it'll be edible." He smiled nervously before turning back to the stove and stirring the noodles. The damn things were already starting to stick to the pan. How long had it taken him to walk back to his room and spew that stupid answer on her? He attempted to scrape the noodles from the bottom as subtly as possible. Dammit. Could he be more lame? "I'm sure there's something that you can tell me. It doesn't even have to be about you since there's not much all that much to me." That was it! All he had to do was get her talking about anything and the fact that he was screwing up these noodles wouldn't be so obvious. He reached up to grab a sauce and started to open it as he waited for her to say anything. It was odd how easy talking came to him when he wasn't trying to swoon someone. Had this been anyone else, he could talk circles around them. But now, he was fumbling with a can opener and awaiting the silence to end.

Anneliese muttered a quick thanks under her breath as a shirt was actually forked over to her. She slid on the shirt before reaching underneath it to take off the seashell bra. There. That was so much better. If only she could burn the thing now. Sadly, that might have resulted in catching Todd's house on fire, and that wouldn't have been good since she hadn't had the chance to eat yet. Instead, she opted for the trashcan. Spotting one in the kitchen, she made her way over and simply dropped it inside before looking over at Todd. "Ah. Macho Mania right?" She hadn't had the chance to check it out. She really should since she did need to keep fit after all. It required effort though. It was such a tough decision between keeping fit and being a couch potato. Anyway, since Todd had told her about his job, then it was only fair that she talked about her own. "I work at the police station, but there's never much to do there. It's rather peaceful in Nirvani." Small town. Slow paced. It was much different from the city. There needed to be more trouble. "Since you're cooking, I'll set up the plates. Where are they?" She asked, glancing at all the possibilities. There was no way she was going to look through all the cabinets. It was just too much effort. It was easier to just ask than raid the kitchen. "As for the cooking, you've already done better than I could have. I don't cook." She didn't know how. She wasn't ever going to learn. She was quite fine with her instant food thank you very much. Anneliese went back to staring at Todd as he seemed to really push her into talking. She supposed that she could enlighten him on that since she did need to return the favor. "I have three siblings. One older. Two younger. They're all idiots. What about you?"

Thank heavens. The can opener had finally worked and he was no longer being an embarrassing buffoon. He looked like he had never even been in a kitchen before! Why did he feel so darn nervous? She was just a girl. Just a very attractive girl that had just removed her bra...thing. Oh goddess, her boob...things were touching his shirt. He had to turn his head from her as quickly as possible and get back to the pasta. It was probably burning or something. Yeah. The pasta was burning. Not his cheeks or anything. Pasta. He heard a ruffling behind him as he started to drain the noodles and tensed up before he heard the sound of something in the trash. Thankfully that was all it was. He had thought for a moment that she was rushing him, although he had no idea what for. Maybe he was hoping that she was grabbing his still exposed sexy man body? He laughed a little too nervously and entirely out of place when she mentioned the name of the gym. He decided a nod of the head was the best way to try and avoid bringing any more attention to himself. He hoped that she'd just keep talking. He grabbed a bowl from the cabinet and poured the sauce in while listening to her. Ah, her voice was even intriguing. He had it so bad. How long had it really been since he had last been around a girl in an intimate way?
Oh. She wanted to set the plates? He hadn't realized how large of a step setting the plates were. He normally just went to his room and watched TV with his supper since Tatyana normally had better things to do. Sitting the plates seemed so formal. So real. Oh goddess. He was on a date. He almost dropped the entire bowl of sauce all over the floor when this realization occurred to him. "Um. Plates? Yes! They are right up there." He turned as little as possible and pointed to a cabinet near the sink. "Silverware is in here." He trailed to a drawer a bit lower before returning his attention back to the food. Ah, she didn't cook? That was great! That meant that he could shower her with his cooking and she would think that it was grand! He was trying to busy himself and completely forget about anything that he had previously thought. Like how gorgeous she was. Or that her chest was touching his shirt. Or that they were on a date. Wait. Did she say she had two younger idiot siblings? Oh goddess. It was destiny. They had so much in common! The goddess had smiled upon their age difference and graced them with something in common! They couldn't cook! They had idiot siblings!
He laughed again. "What a coincidence! I have two younger siblings too, and they're both idiots." He wanted more than anything to turn around and smile at her, but he was afraid that he might end up grabbing her. So, he settled for finishing up the noodles with some salt and pepper and waited for the sauce to warm. "It's almost ready." He stared intently into the pot, willing his face to cool. Hopefully by the time the table was ready he'd forget that they were soul mates.

[PARADOX. IGNORE ME.]
Orchid was happy to move along to the next house. Tatyana had always been a good little follower. Her style was lovely and her hair was so luxurious! It was quite a shock that she had still not found someone. Orchid had thought for sure that she would’ve been picked to marry into the lovely Sonatas. Sadly, there seemed to be no more chances as Tatyana’s years of youth were reaching their end. It was actually quite sad. All of that potential had gone to waste. Maybe if she had any luck, she could find some man to give her a child! Then, all she would have to do is pray that it was a girl that would gain some of that beauty! Orchid was confident that she could handle it from there. She would help Tatyana raise that lovely little girl up into something fit for a king. A literal king would want to marry that girl. Oh, they would have to work out the details once Tatyana visited the Mountain Top. Orchid fluttered over to the end table and placed a bottle of the world’s finest youth serum for Tatyana to rub on that face of hers. Next to this, she placed an envelope made out to Tatyana van Kwil. Oh, she really hoped that this poor girl would visit her. With a final sigh, she eagerly dashed off to the next house.

With a curt nod to indicate that she heard Todd, Anneliese reached for two plates and utensils from the directed cabinets, rather pleased that she wouldn’t need to make multiple trips. Ugh, she really hated having to do that in her house, but she was forced to do it less she end up breaking plates from trying to balance them all in one trip. She brought them over to the table and began to set the table. While she did so, Anneliese spared a glance over at Todd, giving him a dull stare. “They’re not the only idiots. You’re one yourself. You just invited a stranger to your home to eat dinner without even properly frisking them for any weapons.” She pointed out. After all, she could have been a serial killer or whatnot. Fortunately for Todd, she wasn’t one, or else he’d be dead by now by a simple shot to the head. “As a warning, you shouldn’t do it again without a proper introduction. Who knows. I might have slipped in a lie here and there, and you wouldn’t have known. Had I been carrying my gun around...” She gestured towards him with her hand imitating a gun. “Bang.”Anneliese shrugged it off with a small smirk. “I wouldn’t do that though. I’m rather fond of idiots, and if there were less of them in the world, it’d be pretty boring.” Without idiots, who else would she be able to laugh at? “I can’t say the same for others though.”(( I’M SORRY, SYNNY. THE POST IS LAME. OTL ))

Oh, Todd, Todd, Todd! Someone Ilex could really understand! He shared his woman woes and everything – surely, he would be someone who could benefit a lot from visiting Ilex! ..Excpet the man hadn't. Agaaaiiiin, another follower who wouldn't bother visiting Ilex! He was getting awfully lonely, but, well, he would just have to continue keeping watch on the man – or giving watch! Because that was his present to Todd this Stocking Day night – a silver, square-faced wristwatch to help him keep times and maybe impress some ladies with his punctuality? ..No, Ilex just really liked watches and thought everyone could use a new one! They were so neat with all the cogs and gears keeping perfect track of the time of day~! He thought Todd really deserved one, too, since he had been getting some great opportunities to have a large, happy family with Anneliese – that was her name, wasn't it? – oh, he was just so excited about it! He couldn't wait to see the babies, but, first, he had to go visit all of his other followers~! Then he would wait at his shrine and hope that Todd would finally come visit him and show his appreciation for all the gifts he had given him throughout the years!

Due to the loud beating of his own heart, Todd almost didn't hear the goddess in the other room talking. Ah, she was calling him an idiot? How cuuuuuute! It must be love. She was already coming up with a pet name for him! Wait. That wasn't right. Idiot wasn't cute. Especially not in the context of having a gun. What was going on? He turned to look at her in time to see her shoot him with her fake gun. If he weren't completely taken aback by her beauty in that moment, he'd have used his manly brute strength to pin her against the wall and show her just how much of an idiot he was. That, and the fact that he wasn't so sure what they taught their policemen around here. Maybe she knew like some weird martial arts or something. Then he'd just be making a big full out of himself while trying to cop a feel. Instead, he just leaned against the stove and smiled awkwardly at her. "Why are you so certain that I couldn't defend myself against you?" He stepped forward to stand barely inches away from her. Only then did he realize just how much taller than her he really was. This whole time he had been bent over the stove, but now he was attempting to tower over his soul mate.
Pet names and intimidation all in one date? Maybe this relationship was moving a little too fast for him.

...Ah. So, he wasn’t just a doormat after all. How… interesting. Did he actually think that he could intimidate her? That he could just stand up to her like? That he wouldn’t let her step all over him? Anneliese just… just had to… ******** this, ******** dinner, and most of all, ******** Todd. Because in the end, there was no way that she was going to let Todd go after he just made the worst mistake of his life. With a scowl on her face, Anneliese fisted Todd’s shirt in order to forcefully yank him down until their faces were merely inches apart. She hissed out. “It’s not that you couldn’t, but that you wouldn’t. Do you know why?” She gave another tug in order to drag Todd further down, so that she could whisper directly into his ear. She was not going to tiptoe. Ever. “It’s not because I might be stronger than you. It’s not because I might have a weapon on me. It’s just because you’re a coward that hesitates, and guess what? That’s exactly what gets you killed, but now that you’ve caught my attention, I’m not going to let you die so easily."
"After all, I still find you to be an idiot, but an interesting idiot. I don’t let interesting things get away from me.” She let go of his shirt; however, it came with a small price. Anneliese made sure to smash her lips against Todd's own.

Holy s**t. One second he was standing over her, looking down with a sly smile, and the next he was being pulled down to her level. Was it possible that she looked even more beautiful from this angle? It certainly seemed that way to him. As she talked, he couldn't help but watch her perfect lips move. Ah, to be a... okay so there wasn't really anything that you could put on lips like there was for a hand, but he'd really, really, really like to be on those lips. She was saying all these tiny little threats, but all he was hearing was how she wanted him just as bad as he was craving her. At about the time that she called him an idiot again, he had decided that he no longer cared about anything else. All his worries and doubts had flown right out the window. When he was released, he was determined that he wasn't going to let her get away from him that easily. She had been haphazardly pushing all of his buttons and had, somehow, unlocked his heart.
He was absolutely certain that she was enraged and was about to walk out of his life. The perfect little mermaid in distress that he had brought home was about to swim off to sea, and he needed to make her stay. He needed to find something that only he could offer her. Todd gazed into her eyes for that split second and was thinking of something to say, something charming enough to make her swoon when she... kissed him? He had absolutely not been expecting that. Just two seconds prior he had thought that she would be walking out of his life forever. He was shocked at first, to say the least, and sort of stared at what part of her face he could see at this proximity. It finally sank in that he must have actually done something right. She had wanted him just as badly. His hands instinctively grabbed for her as he began to kiss back. This was the moment that he had been waiting for his entire life. He was seeing fireworks and hearing the distant ring of bells. <********. That wasn't the angel's playing their bells for their perfect union. That was the smoke alarm.

The ringing gave Anneliese a jolt. For clarification, it didn’t scare her. She was merely alerted by the alarm. It was enough of a jolt that Anneliese broke the kiss and practically headbutted Todd from her jumping out of her skin small startle. Before her brain could completely comprehend the situation, her body was already going on autopilot. Her hands reached down her side for a nonexistant gun, and feeling nothing, she grabbed a chair to brandish as her weapon for her defense. It took a moment for her to gather her bearings and to realize that it was only a smoke alarm. Her eyes scanned around, eventually finding the source to be the smoking saucepan. Ah. That made sense. She returned her attention back to Todd, gingerly putting down the chair, before placing a hand to cup her mouth as if to cover up a n awkward cough. In reality, she was just desperately resisting from bursting out laughing in her embarrassment. “You… should put that out.”

Todd had been jerked out of what just so happened to be the best moment of his life and was now seeing smoke. He had only taken such a short amount of time to look away from that stupid thing and it had went and caught fire. He stood there, waiting for her to just come back to him. They didn't need to worry about the fire. This was such a perfect moment. A moment that might never come again. He inwardly sighed and turned to look at the source of all the trouble. He hadn't expected to see more than some smoke, so he was a bit shocked to learn that there were actually some flames. He instinctively reached for his shirt and pulled it off to begin fanning at the stupid thing. Oh goddess. This wasn't working. In fact, he was pretty sure that it was making it worse. "Oh s**t. Oh s**t! Is that getting worse?" He screamed in his worry. He threw his shirt to the ground and stepped back to grab the fire extinguisher and began to try and combat the fire. Thankfully, he was able to contain it with only most of the cupboard drawers blackened and some skillets ruined.
He sat the extinguisher on the ground and looked over at Anneliese. "Well. There you have it." He straightened himself up and stepped a bit closer to examine the remainders of the food. The sauce was entirely ruined with burnt bits and the leftover foamy stuff from the extinguisher. He dared to glance over at the noodles to see that they, too, had suffered from the dreadful foamy stuff. Could you eat that? It was probably best if he didn't try to eat that. He didn't want to kill his soul mate. "So..." He turned to her and slumped his shoulders in defeat. "I'll make us some peanut butter sandwiches."

It was a grim situation. After all, the house could have been burnt down, but frankly, it was enough to crack Anneliese up. She immediately buried her face into her arms, trying her best to suppress the snickers and snorts that bubbled out of her, but how could she not? It was just too damn hilarious to her. After all, who wouldn’t laugh at the sight of Todd screaming his head off and flailing all over. By the time her chuckles subsided, her sides were cramped and her cheeks ached from smiling too hard; however, she finally managed to get her act together. She shifted her arms back down to her sides as she walked over to where Todd was to assess the damage. Well, it seemed like this would be coming out of her paycheck. She stated. “I’ll help clean up and pay for the damage. It’s the least I can do since I got a good laugh out of your trouble. I can’t remember the last time I laughed that hard, so thanks for that.” It didn’t seem enough of a reward though. She should throw in something extra. Something that Todd would maybe enjoy.
Oh. She got it. She briskly went off to the dining table and quickly returned with a chair in hand. Anneliese set it next to Todd before shoving the man to sit down on it. All the trouble was because it was too much of a pain to tiptoe or drag Todd down to her level. Brushing her hair back, she leaned over and pecked Todd on the cheek. “And it’s fine. I like peanut butter sandwiches.”
