"I will do everything in my power . . ."

Selene walked into the T and R wing and looked around for a brief moment. "Everden. Where are you? I need an update on the woman we brought in earlier." Selene stood at the entrance, waiting for the man that led this wing to give her a response.

"Come come Selene. She is back here." Everden stepped out to where Selene could see him and motioned her towards the back of the wing. As she walked towards the back of the ring, the many 'containment chambers' came into view, the girl being within one of them. The chambers were decent sized (7 foot diameter) cylindrical glass chambers that stood about ten feet tall. Everden pointed towards the girl that was brought in as he started walking towards a computer. "I was just about to wake her up. Did she use any of her powers on you, or am I going to be doing all the info collecting myself."

Selene looked at the girl that was positioned resting up against the side of the glass as the chamber began to fill with a thin amount of gasses that would restore her body function and wake her from the false sleep. "I'm sorry Everden. She actually put up no fight, which bothers me. So far, any P.U. that we have tried to take into custody has put up a resistance. I mean, you have seen them fight back yourself. So why did this one do nothing to stop us?"

Everden shrugged his shoulders and then looked towards the girl, awaiting her awakening. "You know, if you are really worried, maybe you should talk it over with Bren. If you think something might compromise the ship with this girl here, then that is the best option you have, but I mean look at her. What could she do? She's even in one of our chambers. She isn't going anywhere without our authorization to do so." Everden smiled and leaned back in his office chair. He had little worries about anything going wrong and was more interested in seeing if he could gather any information about P.U.s

Mary woke up and watched the scientist curiously. She noted her surroundings and swore to herself. She had expected a cell, or something livable. Not a ******** tube. She wondered what would happen if she needed to use the rest room in here. She didn't think they would let her out for that. Probably some stupid vacuum pump. Her robotic half was still mostly sleeping. The chemical reacting that woke it up had yet to be released... She wished she could know more about her surroundings... it seemed very haphazard to just try to break out of here by force... and yet she didn't think they were going to let her out any time soon. She could set a timed reaction for the next time they made her sleep... but that was too chance-y. She punched the glass using her human strength, and listened. Come on, stupid humans. Do SOMETHING. Preferably something stupid. She should have set herself up to wake up automatically when her powers were dampened. That would have been a MUCH better result. Instead she just ******** passed out. Now she was stuck in a tube. Okay, so... failing the mission wasn't an option. She needed to establish human contact somehow. If she just activated fully and smashed through the glass she would probably cause the humans to flee from her. How to do it, then. how to do it. She set a chemical protocol that would wake her if a human touched her skin. Somehow, she doubted that would happen, though. She set the same protocol to react to latex as well. If she WAS taken out of here they would be using gloves. Manufacturing a latex allergy was easy enough. She doubted that would work, either. She set the wake up protocol to also recognize breaks in her flesh. Though she had a feeling she would somehow need to be careful on that one in case such a break happened while she was still confined. She farted. The natural ammonia would coat the glass.... She set the same protocol to wake her should she be removed from that ammonia. Though she thought that attempt would probably be foiled by whatever they did to clean up other such messes. She sighed and beat out an impatient rhythm on the glass out of boredom. The human part of her was rather bored. The machine couldn't very well activate here, and that left her rather annoyingly human. "hello?" She called out, intentionally removing oxygen from her containment cell. She didn't want to trip any oxygen sensors to any unusual respiratory patterns. Well.... ********. Unless she threw all caution to the wind and rampaged like an idiot she was probably not going to get out of here, was she... no... she couldn't think like that. She had a mission to accomplish. Somehow.

"I will do everything in my power . . ."

Selene plopped down into one of the chairs and sighed. She watched as the woman appeared to be bored, but she didn't let it bother her. This was their mission. Capture P.U.s and bring them here for interrogation and maybe check them if necessary. "I'll go talk to Bren if anything starts to get out of hand here."

"If anything starts getting out of hand, Bren will be automatically notified as soon as the alarms are tripped. Now then girlie, mind telling me exactly what you can do? And when you obtained your power? Did you have it when you were born or did you gain it during some sort of event?" Everden leaned forward in his seat, leaning on the computer in front of him and just watched the woman in the containment chamber. The sensors were showing up normal so far, but they hadn't checked everything yet. It looked like her power was a physical alteration. Everden was extremely curious to see just what he could find out from their first actual 'catch'. There was so much he needed to learn if he ever planned on helping to complete their overall goal.

"Just let me go!" She yelled, scared. "Why did you bring me here? what are you going to do to me?" These people... she thought to herself. They were terrible. If she actually were just some scared girl then she would probably truly be quite terrified. But... whatever. It was time, wasn't it? She wasn't sure. She wanted them to sleep her again and pull her out, but that wasn't going to happen fast enough for her liking. These people attacked power users. The master would expect her to know why before she returned home. They seem to be trying to turn human beings into literal lab rats... it was despicable.

"We aren't going to do anything to you. If you answer our questions, you will be fine. So please, just answer the man's question." Selene couldn't read this girl. She seemed like just a normal young girl, but something seemed entirely off. She needed to figure it out before they were set to move this girl.

"Acid spit and telekinesis. One was birth. One happened after the damn academy blew up when i was in a coma. I don't have any ideas about either of them. Can i go home now?" Mary said, talking quickly from anxiety. The glass looked thick. She could resonate out of it, but then they would all be on the defensive. She wanted to make them pull her out of this room. Then she could have her system wake her up with adrenaline and a quick start hormone without booting. She could then stealth her way through here. She wasn't built like one of her sisters. She wasn't a ******** tank busting Valkyrie, she was a disease spreader, and an infiltrator, and an assassin. If she couldn't get out of here undetected she would have the disadvantage. She could still be killed, especially with powers dampened. She just needed them to sleep her again. How the ******** to convince them to do it, she had no idea. Watch them have that flusher thing they tried to use on the hulk. Well... She could survive that, but she would fail her mission, and then her siblings would laugh at her as a worthless, antiquated model.

"Hmm . . . Alright. At least you can answer that much." Everden laughed for a bit and then looked up at his computer screen. He typed a bit more on the computer and then looked at his notes. "Well then, how about you tell -" Everden stopped as Selene tapped him on the shoulder. "What do you want Selene?"

"Everden. Put her back to sleep. Use the machine to take a blood sample from her for the tests and wait to ask her further questions until later. While you do that, I'm going to go talk to Bren." Selene whispered to him, making sure that she was quiet enough that the woman inside the chamber wouldn't be able to hear her, which wasn't very hard considering the three layers of glass.

"But there are so many questions I have yet to ask her." Everden almost seemed like he was begging to continue, but Selene glared at him and he knew that she was probably in the right to suggest this. She must of had something planned and if he went against her, Bren would be on him for it later. "Fine." Everden stood up and walked over to the glass. "Well missy. It looks like we will be putting you to sleep again. I hope you don't mind." Everden smiled as the gas began to flow in through the oxygen vent, aiming to put her to sleep again. As this happened, Selene left the room and started to head towards the Command Wing.

Mary's expression went panicked, as if afraid of what they might do to her while she slept. Her body went slack as she fell to her sleep Small micro-bursts of adrenaline and anti-triptomine chemicals worked to keep her aware, while her cyborg ability to control her subconscious worked to allow her a keen ability to fake the effects of sleep, or most poisons. father had assumed they would use a truth serum or something... but apparently it would have to be used like this instead. She kept herself in the edge of sleep, slowing her fake breathing because she didn't actually need air to begin with. She made her best calculation at the speed it would take her to go from phase 1 sleep to rem, and tried to emulate it. Without her main core processors on, it might be a little rough, but everyone fell asleep differently anyways. She laid there, trying to be aware of sensations around her while shifting her conscious thought to the section of her brain devoted to subconscious thought. If she felt pain before she was moved, she knew they were using a robot, and this plan would fail. She set a nanobot into her blood stream. It would normalize her blood ph and oxygen levels temporarily while rewriting any abnormal genetic material that was in place to inter-phase her two halves. The bot would then break itself down using an enzyme that would turn it into starch. Now she just needed them to move her. Come on lady luck.

”They Continue To Think They Are So Safe”

Everden stepped even closer towards the glass and looked down at the now sleeping girl. Now he was starting to understand what Selene was thinking. The girl didn't try to hold her breath or nothing to resist the gas, she just 'willingly' gave in to it. If she really wanted to escape so bad, why didn't she at least put up a little bit of resistance. He pulled a small computer pad and began pressing some of the buttons on it. A small door in the top of the tube opened up and a small machine came down into the tube. The girl's skin was pricked in both of her arms, getting a varied blood sample. He then pressed button for the machine to return into the ceiling to begin processing the samples it had retrieved.

After the p***k went away and a few moments had passed, Mary removed the equalizers from her blood and let her blood return to its normal energy saturation level, however she didn't move or stop her fake sleeping. They hadn't tried to remove her, but they also didn't suspect her at all. She could turn this to her favor if she was just patient enough. She needed to not jump the gun here. She wasn't designed the way her sisters were. She wasn't going to tank through this place. If they shot her, she was probably dead. Wasn't she? Oh well. They hadn't seemed to notice her yet. She just had to be patient. ********. She needed out of containment. She covered the air with a subtle virus. Come on bitches. Just come in for a second. Just come to remove me. Do it. Fuuuck this wasn't going well.

”They Continue To Think They Are So Safe”

Everden sat down in his chair and leaned back, waiting for the samples to be processed and for Selene to return from talking with Bren. He was starting to get bored and was about to get up and go ask the girl another question when a few of the lights on the computer console in front of him started blinking red. "What the?!?" Everden looked down at the console and looked over all the screens, pressing a button to show what was causing the warning. 'A virus??? How did a virus get into the chamber? Did she lie about her power?' Everden looked up at the girl within the chamber and just stared at her. She was still asleep from the looks of it, but was she really. There is no other way a virus could've gotten into the air other than from her. "Wake up!" Everden yelled towards her. As he awaited her to wake up, he activated the head set he was wearing. "Commander, you best get here quick. I think our girl may be a bit different than we thought." After communicating that to his commander, Everden sat down at the computer and began to try and figure out if he could discover what the origin of the virus was.

Mary heard the man outside yell for her to wake up. She woke coughing from allowing the disease to take roots in her own blood system. It was a combination of a super fast developing airborne aids and tuberculosis. She Came to very slowly, and sat up, giving the man a look filled with curiosity. How does one pick up aids in a scan. . . there was no way, was there? Some way to technologically isolate bacteria or even smaller particles?? How the hell. . . She thought about activating just to break the glass and infect the b*****d. She was going to fail anyways. Disease was supposed to be hard to detect. Disease was supposed to be subtle, that was what made it deadly. If you could detect it with a scanner, then why wasn't it in hospitals? Why weren't they curing the world's epidemics? Why didn't they cure the disease she almost died from before Nikolai found her and put her into cryo? What, so they hold onto that technology for the military, but let small children and the general populace die? Those ******** bastards! How could they let hundreds of thousands die to diseases they could detect with a god ******** scanner?

"Who the hell are you. If you are able to do something like releasing a disease into the air within this ship, then you aren't just a power user." Everden looked at the girl, his hand quite literally resting on the Emergency button that would activate stage one of the procedures for locking down the chamber the girl was in. If she was not very precise with each of her answers, she would not be leaving this ship alive.

"My name is Mary Lawrence. I was almost killed by a disease. The method used to save my life offers certain privileges other power users simply don't have." She said, starting up her power core, finally. "I believe that I'm not leaving this ship alive. I was not informed that my leaving this ship alive was part of the greater good. That it would lead to very many deaths if i could not stop you from your act of genocide. I was sent here by a man named Nikolai Korishnev, in the hopes that i could find the frequency you use to dampen abilities, and then communicate it to that person. I'm afraid that the murder of all of the people you intend to kill is morally unacceptable. My sisters and I will stop you." She said, waiting the five minutes for her generator to fully start.

"One By One, Every Man Will Fall"

Bren walked into the room and heard most of what the girl said, only missing the part about what nearly killed her and her repeating her name. He walked over to the computers and pushed Everden to the side, slamming his hand down on the Emergency Lock Down. A solid titanium wall slammed shut around the glass chamber as Bren leaned down towards a mic that he could use to speak into it. He could see on the scanners that there was a large amount of power coming from the container now so whatever this person was, she was now obviously a threat. "So what would you do if you knew it was not my goal to kill all the power users. My higher ups may want them all dead, but I plan on doing everything in my power to try and integrate the normals with you power users. However, if you are still interested in trying to bring an end to this ship, it will not be hard for me to put an end to your life." Bren continued to lean on the computer, hovering over the mic to wait for a response from the girl. As he waited for her response, he looked over at Selene. "Selene, the ship is on route towards a large target area. Take Arwin and Garenth and try to do what you can to secure the targets at the location. If you can handle that for me, I will be very grateful." As Selene bowed to him and then walked away, Bren removed his hand from the mic and turned back towards the sealed chamber. "So tell me . . . what say you?"
