Jerry was feeling somewhat down after his date. He thought, even just going through the motions it might spark some of his old fire again, but alas. He felt disappointed. And sticky. And exhausted from two hours of nearly nonstop sneezing even after he washed up. He sat, alone in his room, staring at his instruments. He thought about writing, but his heart wasn't in it. He could go train, but he was exhausted. He shifted on his couch, typing a quick text.

Sasha was indeed on the island. She looked thoughtfully at the text before tapping out a response. Since her discourse with Rep, she was feeling more herself than she had been after her initial return to the island. It was nice, feeling that sense of brash arrogance that she'd worn like a mantle before losing Nona. It was temporary, that loss. Nona would be hers once again. She only needed to bide her time, wait for the perfect chance to strike. Sasha wasn't sure what Jerry wanted, but any distraction was welcome. Well, almost any distraction.

To Jerry You aren't bothering me. What's on your mind, Jerry? To Jerry And don't say nothing, or I'll find you and we will have words. After sending the three texts, Sasha set the phone down before picking up a pen. She tapped it thoughtfully against her lips.

Jerry thought about it. Her coming here would be weird. If he went over there, Wash might be there and that could be awkward too. Jungle was out. Cafeteria wasn't private enough. He curled up into a ball on the couch. Maybe here wasn't so bad. To Sasha Meet me at my room, maybe? He'd have to go put pants on.

Sasha knew Jerry well enough to tell when something was on his mind. It wasn't like she was accomplishing anything writing notes alone in the room she shared with Wash, and so after writing the Moon a brief note letting him know exactly where she'd be so he wouldn't worry, Sasha slipped on her heels. Some time was spent rummaging around in the desk that took up the corner of the room. After finding what she'd been looking for - the trace remnants of a bottle of scotch - Sasha left the room.
Soon enough there would be a knock on Jerry's door. She knew well enough not to barge in. With her luck he wouldn't be wearing pants.

"C-coming!!" When the knock came, he had to assume it was her- hoped it was her anyway. He made sure his sweatpants were secure before gingerly opening the door with a weak smile, "Ah.... hey. Um. You want coffee or anything?"

Sasha stepped past him, dangling the scotch.
"If coffee's what you want," she trailed off, gazing about the room with interest.

"I uh..." He blinked at the bottle as she swept past.
His room looked the same as ever, instruments lined up neatly along the wall, coffee table replaced since the last incident that ravaged their rooms, couch... still there. The pictures and notes and poetry still was taped to the walls around his old poster.
His eyes remained on the bottle. "I... I p-probably shouldn't," He mumbled in a way that was clear he definitely wanted to. "I ah... I'm glad you're feeling better?" He ventured by way of topic change.

"I'm glad I am too," she almost purred for no real reason in particular. Part of her hated the fact that she could attribute her mood to Rep and the texts they'd exchanged, and part of her was thankful towards him. Sasha hated feeling weak and afraid.
Hated it.
"You don't have to drink," Sasha called over her shoulder as she moved further into the room, "but I intend to have a bit. Where are your glasses?"

"On my face?" He ventured, followed by a brief, nervous laugh. "Um, the cabinet there. I... I guess... I guess I could use a drink..." He managed warily, "Is there enough for both of us?"

Sasha actually laughed at his response as she moved towards the cabinet that he'd indicated.
"There's plenty here," Sasha trilled as she poured herself a small splash before offering Jerry a glass with triple the amount she'd given herself.
"To finding weapons."

"And sanity," He smiled weakly as he raised his glass. He paused, staring down at the amber liquid, his brows furrowed as though debating for a long moment and finally caved, knocking the triple shot back in two swallows.
