Still sporting a black eye, though the bruising was going down, the blond was settled on the edge of the roof top much like a gargoyle. Folds of fabric fell and pooled about him, the cape trailing down to the flat of the roof top. One leg hung, dangled even, over the edge while the other leg was bent and his booted foot settled on the roofs edge. His right arm was bent over his right knee at an angle. His left arm hung down over the edge much like his left leg, only shorter. His gloved fingers idly twitched every so often, as if needing something to hold or do. It was in his right hand that a steaming hot cup of espresso was held. Blond head tipped downward as slate eyes watched the people down below, each one seemingly unaware of his presence above them and his scanning gaze.

Hunched forward, as if ready to jump down to the ground below, the blond had no intention of joining the people below just yet. He had a drink to finish and then he would get to gathering energy tonight. As he sat perched on the ledge of the roof top he sent out a call for a very familiar presence, Bazzite. He had not spent nearly enough time with him. But he was ready to take up his responsibilities and tend to the needs of his youma. He would summon him and let him out to hunt for food, and bring him food as well. Bazzite in his new form was after all his creation and thus his to take care of, a task he had been neglecting till now.

"Bazzite..." He words were whispered and caught by the wind and soon lost, never to reach the ears of those below. He missed the other dreadfully so and wished he could go back and fix things, undo his mistakes and correct his ignorance. But what was done was done and he could not go back. Travel to space was possible but travel to the past or future was not. It was not something any side had gained power over - time. It was something still not understood, not fully, and somehow he liked and yet despised this at the same time. He wanted to know things, wanted answers to everything, and yet the wonder the unknown air it held was appealing. He often, as a child, thought that he would have liked to have lived in the times where India was such an unknown and exotic place. And people spoke of Shangri-La and went hunting lions and tigers and other such things, the time where discoveries were being made and all these distant lands were whispered over by awe filled voices. People of money and affluence would go to these far off lands to feed their boredom and cure themselves of it and return with tales of all manner of things, of things which were not seen by others nor in most books. He was sure that had he lived in such times he would have been such a person to go on these expeditions and sought to see all these exotic things for himself, wanting to see and experience all these things first hand. Perhaps this war, space, the Negaverse and all of this was his India - a modern India. And instead of tigers and lions to hunt there were knights and senshi. Instead of the exotic jungles with thick foliage there was space and the rift. It was something worthy of pondering, and ponder it he would. Because it did stir his imagination and his mind. It stirred his emotions as well, a sort of yearning for the old for a time which he could not have as his - ever. But he could have now - this modern India of his.

It was this mystery and unknown air which had him liking how time was still unknown to people. It's what made him wish for time to never be fully understood, it was one of the biggest unknown and mysterious things left. But then even if time were figured out and mastered, as much as anyone could ever master such a thing, would he go back and alter it? One little alteration would lead to many unknown changes. What would he come back forward in time to find? No, he didn't like the unknown and that was an unknown he took no fancy in. Sighing as he reached this ultimate conclusion he took a long sip from the hot cup. He didn't like where his thoughts had ended and yet it gave a sense of peace, in some small way.

Letting his right arm fall back into place he waited, knowing the other would heed his call and arrive soon. He awaited the others arrival with anticipation that he would not have felt two weeks ago, maybe not even a week ago. But now he waited for the other with a soft smile in place which reached his grayish blue eyes.

The world came into focus slowly and the scent of death's pollen preceded his arrival.

A heavy, restful sigh escaped blackened lungs as Bazzite's head brushed up against Benitoite's arm. The youma had leaned down a great deal for this simple act, one he found to be very important. Benitoite was finally a more permanent fixture in the youma's life. Now he was getting semi-regular feedings, visits and the whole nine yards. Bazzite smiled, resting clawed hands on the lip of the building while his lower half stretched out over the rootop like a cat sunning itself. "What's on the menu for tonight, Beni? Everybody or just certain ones?"

The youma sniffed at his General's opposite hand where the coffee lay. To him, now, it smelled horrific. Nothing like the clean and intoxicating scent of death and souls. Bazzite almost purred - he was content. Stretching his wings and his legs was exhilarating to say the very least and the herd of cattle beneath them, completely unaware of their presence, was all the more exciting. Humans did not respond to the imminent death that perched right above them. Bazzite's nails clicked against the building's facade. "Are we on a mission, Beni?"

Turning his head, his smile gentling further, as the youma rubbed his head to his arm. Tilting his head downward, as if to nuzzle the top of the youmas hooded head. Perhaps it looked intimate, or would if Bazzite were human, but it was the love of a friend and now master. It was comfort taken from the others presence. Watching Bazzite move he reached out to gently touch one of those translucent, delicate looking, wings. A gentle touch of just finger tips, nothing more, as if he might damage the wing.

"Anyone you wish to have from you may. Just do not kill. You know I wish not to kill civilians." Though he had killed at the carnival. He had gotten swept away in the rush, the surge, of adrenalin which had filled him for the first time in weeks. it had filled him with a need to do and to take, to take energy and starseeds without care for which he took. He had felt a stab of guilt after all was said and done. But that had faded, just like the guilt over Bazzite's fate.

"I would not limit who you feed from - Johnathan." The last word, the others true name, was whispered with a certain tenderness which spoke deeply of the friendship they had once had...and perhaps still had? He did not know if friendship was something a youma could have or feel, and he wasn't about to seek out that answer. He was..content with what he had with the other right now. He could live with this.

"No, no mission. I thought you would like some time out and to gather your own food. I will of course join you - I wouldn't let you have all the fun." He said with a smile blossoming across his gentle features. His eyes cast upon the others hooded head, his fingers moving idly still along the others wing. Another sip from his coffee and he glanced downward to the milling people. "Take your fill and extra if it pleases you. I will not limit you."

Bazzite's wings buzzed like a dog wagged his tail.

Orders were given and understood. Bazzite shrugged his immense shoulders and concentrated his eyes on the head bobbing below them. "Don't kill, got it. So just energy today. Maybe starseeds later?" he asked, a hopeful glint in the youma's eyes when he did pull away from the fodder below to look up at his General. With a feline stretch, Bazzite started the deliberately slow process of standing up. With legs as long as his and feet as deformed as his were, standing up was a bit of a challenge at times, especially when he was weighing lazing around versus unlimited energy buffet.

The stomach usually won. With a bit of an alien chuckle, Bazzite used their high vantage point to find a nice, thin alley that served as a quick means to get in and out the building they were on. It was poorly lit, only one small outcropping that held one dull bulb inside it. Bazzite dropped down on it, breaking the thing clean off the building before using his wings to quiet the rest of his fall. Light source knocked out, nothing but darkness awaited anyone coming in or out of the alley.

A young teenage couple out past curfew walked by, completely engrossed in swapping saliva with one another. One giant hand reached out and snatched them both. Bazzite used one hand to pin and silence the girl while he held the young man and drained him with glee.

He knew the feeling well by now.

Bischofite traipsed from rooftop to rooftop, climbing with a nimbleness he lacked until his recent promotion. Buildings peeled away from his vision faster than before, a hallmark of his new power. A faceless mass of people beneath formed a river, framed by the canyon of shops and warehouses. A river of energy, of starseeds, of opportunity.

The feeling drew closer with each passing breath.

These streets felt familiar. He'd traversed them a dozen times by now, memorized their minute idiosyncrasies: the crooked manhole on 16th, the slightly bent street sign sporting graffiti on Stark, and a gaping pothole newly formed on Warner. These streets held personality, held hearts and minds and memories of lives long since past, and he knew them better than he knew himself. Especially now.

He finally found the origin - ground zero - of the maddening warmth he felt echoing through the corners of his mind.

Finally, atop the apex of a commercial building, he identified the dark sliver below. Two, even. Together. One he recognized immediately - nothing of this world bore that shade of blue, and walked among people with a sinister smile, a sinister hiss. The other one, though it required heavy squinting and staring, he identified as Benitoite. They looked at peace with each other, from a thousand feet away.

So, they're finally together again, he thought sardonically.Maybe that blue monstrosity will be on better behavior this time. It seemed unlikely. Still, he wanted to know why the hell that thing was loose outside of the Rift. He hadn't glimpsed youma running amok very often, and most of the time they were simple ferals, roaming for some scrap of food they might glean from their senseless hunts. But for that towering humanoid beast? He couldn't infer any reason for it to be let loose in the public.

Perhaps it was time to find out.

A few agile leaps carried him toward the building where the two sat intertwined almost, and he landed nearly fifteen feet away, behind them. He approached quietly, though Benitoite surely knew of his presence. As for the youma... He could guess the same. Given the fact that his face still bore heavy bruising, it was likely the thing still smelled blood. A pity, really; he'd have enjoyed sneaking up on it.

"Benitoite," he called. No rank, no respect. "What're you doing wis' zat sing up here?" He approached with arms open, as if gesturing a shrug. As if gesturing his bewilderment.

While Bazzite was down below, feasting, and slate eyes looked into the darkness, he knew someone was watching. A captain by the feel of it and he wondered who and why but not a word passed his lips regarding this. He was focused on the darkness below and the sounds of Bazzite claiming a meal, or two y the sound of it, for himself.

"A meal already...that's rather quick Bazzite." A tender, almost loving, smile graced gentle features as he finished his drink with the next sip. He set the cup down and would have unfolded himself from his gargoyle like position in order to join him, he did have energy to collect as well, had it not been for that signature coming closer. He heard them on his roof top before he heard their voice.

"A promotion Bischofite." Not a question but a stating of fact. "Congratulations are in order I see. Remind me and I shall get you something - perhaps a starseed." He spoke before lifting his head from the scene below in the alley, not that he could see it anyway. One thing which the Negaverse did not afford an officer was night vision - a shame really. Turning his head he tilted his head back as well, as he looked to the other. "Interesting...it suits you." That smile still in place as he spoke, though it was less loving and tender, it was no smaller.

"You mean Bazzite? He does need to feed and I thought it a nice evening to let him find his own meal. " A simple shrug of his shoulders followed his words. Turning his gaze back downward he spoke up for Bazzite to hear. "We have company." Not that Bazzite hadn't felt them, he was sure he had. It was simple politeness which had him telling the other the obvious.

Bischofite approached the short general and perched next to him, overlooking the scene below. "I want somesing more personal," he replied enigmatically. He left it at that; Benitoite would determine what he meant, and either produce something accordingly, or ceaselessly solicit him for an answer before dropping the matter entirely. He didn't care which road the general elected to travel; a present was superfluous.

Bischofite grinned, mostly to himself. Now he sported unusually large bird skulls, whereas before his uniform was simple, and more importantly, easy to maneuver in. These decorations, though intimidating, proved slightly cumbersome. Still, he preferred this new and improved version of himself, if only for the gift of a legitimate weapon. He seized them from their pocket of Negaspace, admiring the blades as they gleamed in the feverish moonlight. A few thin cords fell from one of the chakrams, and the beads at the end held a few stray feathers in place. It matched his uniform in its tribal, unrestrained appearance.

"He's no different from an animal now," he responded. Carefully he placed the two chakrams together, pointing skyward. He didn't dare risk resting his chin on the dull blades. "Even as an animal, I don't like him much. He still has some dregs of humanity. I met him before." Before he somehow managed his way here, before he terrorized the streets in his inhuman glory.

Bischofite smiled. The chaos beneath brought him a little closer to the world. That symphony was orchestrated by Bazzite, the very youma who humiliated him once before.

He pushed back from his crouching position and prostrated himself against the cool shingles under the night sky. "He was human before, you told me zat. So why does he look like a monster now? Why did your attempt at a promotion ******** him up so?"

After draining a third victim, Bazzite heard his General's voice and lifted his head. In his haste to fill his stomach, the youma hadn't noticed the appearance of another Chaos signature on the radar. Bright eyes shone in the darkness of the alley, teeth flashing in an animalistic grin. "Be there in a bit, Beni." he replied, dropping the latest victim. He was an older man, probably in business or finance by the look of him - tailored suit, well-groomed hair and nails. Probably bathed regularly. With a grunt, Bazzite dropped him on top of the young couple he'd drained and leaped, landing on the rooftop in one fell swoop.

The youma tilted his head when he sensed the new presence. It smelled familiar. It looked familiar, but it was more powerful? Walking up behind what ended up being Bischofite, Bazzite gave the Captain a good sniff in his hair. "Ah, Captain. Good evening." came a purr. The youma was in a very good mood with a full belly and his General to keep him company. Slowly did the blue monster step around the new Captain to sit next to his General, dangling his long legs down the lip of the building. His wings buzzed every so often, stretching.

"Didn't know he promoted. Good job, Beni."

"Of course. I shall find something than Bischofite." He would need to think on what to get him, some sort of gift, and something personal according to the dark haired Captain. He almost wondered if the others request for something personal was just do drive him nuts, to stress him as he tried to find the right gift.

"He is close to one...a stranger who I've had to meet all over again." Came the soft spoken words from the General as he glanced to the dark haired Captain. His uniform certain fit him, looked good, it would intimidate the senshi and knights without a doubt. Chaos, or fate, had certainly picked a good uniform for the Captain. Though he did really dislike the skulls, it was a personal thing. He wasn't much for skulls and all that. It was obvious what he was into when it came to uniforms, his own was a good example of it.

"I see...and what happened when you met him?" He questioned, a pale brow rose in question. When had the two met? He did hope it hadn't gone that badly. His Lieutenant, now Captain, and his youma...they should get along.

"My attempt to promote him shattered his starseed...and thus he became a youma. It was my mistake and my choice to try and do what I didn't know if I could do." His attention left the Captain as Bazzite joined them both on the roof top.

"I didn't promote him. I've learned that is beyond my abilities - Bazzite." His voice gentled as he spoke to the other, a soft smile directed to the taller being. "I was aware until now that he had been promoted in fact. No doubt it was well earned though." The praise for Bischofite spoken, though not to the dark haired males face. Unfolding himself he stood slowly, standing on the lip of the roof top, and stretched. "We should go Bazzite. I'm done with my drink." Which meant a trip to the red light district where Bazzite could take starseeds.

A botched promotion changed someone that much? A normal promotion didn't seem terribly different, but apparently if something went wrong, it rendered one no longer human. A youma... was this how they were created? Were all these youma just former Negaverse officers, subject to incorrect methods of promotion? An eerie thought, to be certain. It was already difficult to believe that Bazzite was once one of them. He seemed impossibly far from typical human tendencies.

Superficially human, maybe.

He directed an irritated glance at the youma once he felt the beast sniff his hair. Was that really necessary, or was he simply playing around? The thought crossed his mind that the two may be orchestrating a complicated joke, some tale of how Bazzite used to be human, followed by some melodramatic end. It could all be a hoax. However, Benitoite didn't seem clever enough to craft such a tale. Not on his own, at least.

So Benitoite wanted to know what happened between the two? "I'll tell you about zat later." He angled a glance at Bazzite, on the opposite side of his general. He already bore a seething dislike for the beast; he didn't want to aggravate it by reopening old wounds and willfully telling his general about the public humiliation.

"For now, I'm curious: if you pluck a starseed from someone, zey die. So wouldn't he have died as well if you shattered his starseed? Painite said zat people can't lif' wis'out zem, so would he not have died on ze spot? Why did he become a youma?" He couldn't wrap his mind around it; Painite made it obvious that humans simply could not exist without their starseed, and all instances of starseed removal ended in death, not youmas. And what about the rest of the youma population? "Are all youma just failed Negaverse officers?"

A chilling thought, to be certain. If someone botched his promotion, he would end up much the same.

Then again, that may not be such a bad thing. He wouldn't mind living without complex human emotions, and an ultimately simplistic schedule to live by. Especially if it included someone like Benitoite to look after his daily energy intake.

That boy cared far too much for his pet monster than he was willing to tolerate. Bischofite, a fully functioning human being capable of fulfilling complex tasks and moving up in the world, took a backseat to some dead-end, high-functioning beast with a penchant for buzzing its wings ceaselessly. When in the hell would he earn the right to be recognized so warmly? From his life experiences, they indicated he was beneath such amiable reception. So be it.

While the questions unfolded, Bazzite kept a sideways glance locked on the newly-promoted Captain. He was asking good questions, deep questions. Questions that the youma expected him to ask, given the fact that Bazzite used to be Benitoite's Captain. Now Bischofite held that position. Jealousy briefly flashed through his heart - or what used to be his heart. "Too much energy, too uncontrolled. Too fast." came the simple answer. Bazzite wasn't one to dwell on what had happened. It couldn't be changed.

He couldn't be in Bischofite's place ever again.

He couldn't have that choice, that freedom that everyone took for granted.

"Some youma have come from forever ago. They've been down there longer than we've been alive. Longer than our parents, longer than this city, probably." That much he'd learned from speaking with the other youma who were capable of speaking back. Some were so ancient, they couldn't remember a time when time even existed. A time long before the Negaverse came and went and rediscovered the Rift and the youma who lived there.

Another buzz of wings.

"I would be a General. Maybe. In another lifetime."
PostPosted: Thu May 30, 2013 9:24 pm

He'd have to wait to find out what had happened between his Captain and his youma and he was ok with that, it might be better to wait rather than it possibly cause something to spark between them. He'd ask Bazzite in private later as well, it was best to have both stories, normally the truth was found somewhere between the two. So to be diplomatic, and fair, he would find out from both of them what had happened. He just hoped it wasn't anything too bad.

As Bischofite asked his questions he worked out his answers, he just didn't give them yet, as he let the other finish asking them. He certainly as curious, and hearing that the other had met Painite was somewhat pleasing. She was capable, highly so, and good at what she did. She had more time in than he did, by how long he knew not, but her rule breaking recently did bother him somewhat. He didn't want his own Captain to push it too far, though some rule breaking was always going to happen. There was really no way to avoid it, he felt everyone needed to know how to pull a starseed just in case they had to in a battle. And pulling those was still against the rules, that rule was one of the ones he disregarded when it came to training new members. He just didn't want Bischofite breaking one rule which really upset the higher ups or breaking too many and upsetting them. That was a matter for another time though. He wouldn't tell him not to work with Painite, to spend time with her or train under her. He'd trained under her for a short while.

As Bazzite decided to answer the questions the blond decided to add to the answers given. "A person can live a short time, in some cases, without their starseed. Death is always the outcome though. The first time I pulled one the person survived it. The General who took me out to teach me killed them, snapped their neck. So while death is always the end it is not always immediate, they can linger. If they do I suggest you kill them quickly." Shifting his weight he looked to his Captain and tilted his head.

"As Bazzite said, some youma come from forever ago. Some, many, come from the first war. We didn't create them. They were normal people, civilians, who rose up against the Moon's Queen who wished to rule here. It was her power which over loaded and shattered their starseeds. So I suppose you could say that a missing starseed means death while a shattered one results in a youma. As for why the very slight difference, since by eating a starseed we would be shattering it, can make such a huge difference for the persons fate...I do not know. Perhaps because the shattered pieces were not removed?" So they still had a starseed...it was just broken into so many pieces. It was the only idea he could come up with for that.

"It is not within the power of a General to promote. We lack the control to regulate the power and it's flow to properly promote someone. So provided no one besides a General King or General Queen tries to promote you; your safe." Smiling up at Bischofite before his gaze shifted to Bazzite and he bobbed his head.

"Indeed, you would have been. I'd have been happy to have you at my side as a fellow General. Instead you are at my side as you are now." Pausing for a moment he tipped his head up toward the night sky. "At least your still at my side and I can continue to take care of you." As Johnathan's mother had told him to do. He didn't say this, didn't want to see what emotions it might invoke in the other if anything at all.

"Now...shall we three go and take some energy and starseeds?" His gaze landed from one, Bischofite, to Bazzite. "It is a nice evening."

So someone could survive a short time without their starseed... He'd have to continue pulling them until he found someone who did. He had a few questions for someone with such survival instincts - he wanted to know what it felt like, what their thoughts were and what they thought of their own starseed. Bischofite also wondered what his own looked like, but he doubted Benitoite would pull it for him to examine, even for a brief moment. Perhaps he could execute the deed himself one day, without his general looking over his shoulder.

"How else could starseeds fracture like zat?" If overwhelming power shattered Bazzite's starseed, then how were the others formed? What about the youma of ancient times that the two mentioned? Who shattered their starseeds? "And what about ze inhuman youma? Ze ones zat look like creatures of nightmares? Since you-" he gestured toward Bazzite with one of the chakrams, "are ze only youma I know zat was purportedly human, zen what where ze feral ones before?" Did cats and dogs have starseeds? Spiders? Cockroaches?

As the general continued speaking, starseeds became even more of a fascination for him than they were before. If he could just study them in all manner of situations... What could he uncover about the human spirit? The human condition? What could he learn about the power of starseeds, or their taste?

The blonde's explanation made sense. "Understood. Don't try to promote me, Benitoite - I don't want to look like zat." As much as he detested humanity, he much preferred existing as a recognizable being than some warped and unnatural-looking monstrosity like the former captain. The incessant buzzing coming from his direction was starting to get on his nerves; he didn't know if it was simply because the sound was grating, or if it was due to their volatile prior meeting.

Benitoite's special treatment of his ex-captain made the misanthrope ill. At the same time, it fascinated him: despite the atrocious demeanor he employed when demonstrating affection, it was curious that he exhibited such... motherly tendencies toward a hellish nightmare like Bazzite. But... perhaps if he gained an unconscionably scarring appearance like the youma, then he'd receive such affections as well. Maybe he should solicit Benitoite for a promotion next time, rather than the proper superiors.

"Yes, starseeds... I'd like to shatter one." Would it yield the birth of a youma? He'd like to find out.

However, languidly lounging on the roofing, still warm from the sun, was every bit as attractive as ending lives that night. He made no effort to get up.

Bazzite almost purred at Benitoite's compliment and dedication to taking care of him. While youma were fully capable creatures when left to their own devices, having someone to rely on, and promised companionship, was all that Bazzite could ask for. All he wanted, really.

"Feral ones?" came a reply. The youma sighed slightly, tilting his head at the people below who were woefully unaware of the predators who lurked above. Mindless sheep with no idea the wolves stood nearby. "Dunno about them... they can't talk." And, indeed, if they could then Bazzite would have pinned one down and asked them all about the time that came before, what they had been before and what they thought about their current predicament. If they could, what would they think about their former life? Would they miss it? Would they hate being nothing but a monster and a slave to people who didn't even know them.

Perhaps the fact that they had no higher thought processes was a blessing in disguise.

"He's never met Tanzanite, has he?" Bazzite asked the wind, rhetorically. "She brought me into the Negaverse and she was sort of like me... but not." The youma wasn't sure how else to explain it for it never got to know Tanzanite before she disappeared again into the darkness. He hadn't seen her since. "She had big wings, purple, huge youma arm but she was still human. Kind of. Don't know how that happened. Another weird link in the chain, huh?"

Somehow he had the feeling he'd just pointed his Captain down a darker path. He didn't know how true that was, he'd find out eventually, but the other seemed be displaying, or vocalizing, some fixation on starseeds and their nature. But he couldn't stop him, wouldn't stop him, as he wondered if the power they each possessed changed their starseeds in some way as well. Was there a physical or visual change or different? Had they really changed or tainted themselves as some of the enemies members said they had? Was it real or simply metaphorical and not something there which your senses could tell you was there?

"Other than what I did...or what the Moon's Queen did. I do not know of any other way in which they can shatter - aside from someone shattering it on purpose." And who would want to shatter another persons starssed when it would yield a youma? Then again some people might like that idea? Make their own youma. Though he suspected that would be frowned upon, and the perpetrator punished severely for it. "I don't know what the feral ones were before. I can only suspect they were the civilians which died in the ancient past. It is information which I would have to look up, and could try and find." If the other wished it. For now he would support the others want to learn more about starseeds, it hadn't gotten out of hand - yet. And he wouldn't take something from Bischofite which had his interest and had him less negative, maybe it would make him easier to live and deal with? Make their relationship better?

"Have you met any youma you can talk to Bazzite?" He questioned, curious, as he looked to Bischofite and smiled. "Are you not going to join us? Bazzite will be taking starseeds. You can as well - so you can learn about them. Just do not shatter any, I don't wish for you to wind up in trouble for it." He spoke with a kind smile to the other before he shook his head, eyes shifting to Bazzite while his head continued to face his Captain.

"No, he never met Tanziniate, he's too new. I only remembering seeing her twice myself. A meeting and the Christmas event which turned rather...interesting." Then he groaned as he seemed to remember something. "I still have that horrid sweater from the General Queen....Lily wouldn't let me burn it." It was buried deep in his closet, hidden behind everything else on the rack.

"Tanziniate was as Bazzite says." He started, his gaze again on his Captain. "She was human in appearance save the horns, scales, large wings, and the monstrous arm - I think she was planning to eat a kitten with her hand..." He added the last part after a moments hesitation. "I never asked why or what had happened - I was honestly too nervous to step out of line by asking. But she was certainly part youma. I haven't seen of her since the Christmas before last. I'm sure someone has but...I certainly haven't." Was she even still around? What had happened to the purple clad General Queen.

Shaking his head he offered a hand to his Captain. "Join us?"
