With so many reavers and so few thralls, even reavers were expected to hunt for the warband. While fighting was--had always been--her forte, Kucha did not shrink from what was necessary. And so the pale lioness scouted for signs of prey, ready to return and alert the others once she found what she sought. Maybe she'd even have some luck, and find something small on the way that she could bring back with her.

He had slept for hours, nearly an entire day. It was afternoon again, and Yareha was active, moving about in tempered rage. Tempered not because the so-called god's curse had lessened, but because his body was battered and bruised from his encounter with the black male. Ugh. Just thinking about it made him want to snarl and roar.

He wasn't certain why the other hadn't finished him off, but he was quite glad to still be alive. Even gladder to be without broken bones, though some were so bruised it was a wonder they'd remained intact. There was also a sprain or two that made moving more of a pain than it should have been.

And yet all of that was forgotten when he spotted a lithe, white form moving purposefully ahead of him. Curiosity flared, and Yareha moved closer to investigate.

Kucha paused as she caught a glimpse of movement ahead. When she began moving again, it was with far more caution that before. If it was just a lone rogue, she had little to worry about. A group could pose more of a problem, especially if they belonged to the non-exiled Stormborn. The lioness worked the tips of her claws free from their sheaths, leaving them at the ready should she need to utilize them. She wouldn't call out, not yet. Assess the situation first, and have a chance to retain the element of surprise and the upper hand.

The white lion's speed increased with his curiosity. He didn't even pause for a moment to consider what would happen if he ran into another lion, as he had the previous day. He'd cleaned himself up when he'd awoken, but the marks of the fight were still all over his body. Still, the pain was easily ignored in favor of discovering what that other white form belonged to..

Yareha stopped abruptly as he got a sudden good look. Why, it was a lioness! A beautiful lioness whose coat was even whiter than his own! His curiosity gave way to lust and the male moved in closer.

"You look rather sexy," he called out cheerfully as he advanced.

A lone lion, one that she didn't recognize even in the vaguest sense. Probably not one of the Stormborn, then, although he had enough marks on him to qualify as the end result of a failed askorun. Kucha relaxed for all of two seconds before the lion opened his mouth.

...What.

Kucha stopped cold, her customary composure cracking with a series of rapid blinks. How exactly was one supposed to respond to that? "I... Thank you.?" That was the right thing to say, wasn't it? It was a compliment after all, albeit a strange one. Yes, you thanked someone when they complimented you. Right?

"Do you feel alright?" Maybe he'd taken a knock to the head. Unfortunately, her not-so-subtle peering at him wasn't telling her much one way or the other.

Considering that rational thought was taking a backseat to libido, thanks to the red lion, Yareha was not at all insulted by the white lioness' concern for his possible concussion. He actually thought she looked more attractive in her confusion, and sidled up towards her.

"You are very welcome, and I thank you for your concern. I've never felt better," the lion lied gracefully. His blue eyes sparkled as he came ever closer.

"Shall I show you the full extent of my thanks?" he offered, nearly purring in anticipation.

Oh yes. He was definitely horny.

Oh, hello. He was...rather close now, wasn't he? Close enough for Kucha to see that he was definitely not a bad-looking lion, under the relatively fresh marks. Close enough for that nearness, and the strange look in his eyes, to prompt...something...that served to make her feel as though she were trying to think through some sort of dense fog. It was almost alarming, if not for the fact it was also rather pleasant. It certainly didn't seem harmful.

"...What did you have in mind?" The lioness nearly jumped at the odd breathiness in her voice. She didn't remember sounding like that before!

Yareha smiled knowingly. Ah, this would be rather wonderful, he could see it now. She certainly wasn't objecting!

"Oh, nothing you'll find distasteful," the lion assured her. As he spoke, he leaned in closer to gently nibble along her neck. It was a move that had gone over well with other lionesses in the past, as he recalled.

It was strange, as long as he was moving with whatever emotion moved him, he did have some control. Which was all to the good if he did want to get involved with a lioness. He didn't want to be some sort of rapist now - that would end badly for everyone.

Kucha froze at the alien sensation for a long moment before she let the tension bleed out of her. It was unfamiliar, yes, but...arousing. Her indrawn breath might have been simply due to the stranger's actions, save for her eyes glancing about; all of it, checking to see if they were alone. She was doing nothing wrong--many male reavers did far more with far less consent--but she had little inclination to be interrupted before she was through. "So I see..."

And then, she dared to turn her head and n** at his ear.

Yareha nearly lost control right then and there as the lioness took her lead from him and began interacting in a more...physical...manner. But as he fought to retain control over his actions, the white lion couldn't help feeling a certain satisfaction that his courtship - however brief and forward - had once again succeeded. Quite completely, if the white lioness' actions were any indication.

He considered and discarded four different things he could say to her. Really, at this stage of - oh my - at this stage of the dance, there was no more need for words.

No need for words at all.
