The female Dovaa had been running after the small Ysali dragon for what seemed like forever. Finally, she had caught up with the small thing. It seemed that the Ysali dragon had run out of steam. Araceli wasn’t far behind the thing either. She huffed as she came to a stop in front of the dragon. “I knew...” She took a deep gulp of air before continuing. “That you’d run out of energy sooner or later.” She stood up straight and took on a fight position. Her hands came up in front of her and she planted her feet firmly on the ground.

“Now just stay still while I slay you beast.” She demanded of the Ysali dragon. However, it seemed that this small dragon had other plans on it’s mind and it hadn’t been as worn down as it had seemed just a second before. It snorted out a reply as if to say “yeah right” and crouched down low to the ground. “Wh-what are you doing?” Araceli asked the dragon as she straightened up from her offensive position. “Don’t you even think about attacking me.” She managed to get the last demand out before the dragon pounced.

Araceli was knocked to the ground, the wind being forced out of her lungs by the hard impact. She quickly pushed the small dragon off and away from her. “That wasn’t very nice!” She grumbled as she struggled to gain her breath back. The young Ysali dragon snorted, turning around and causing dirt to fly at her with it’s hind legs, adding insult to injury. Araceli sputtered as the dirt flew into her face and she watched the Ysali dragon escape yet again. Her eyes began to tear up. This dragon hunting business didn’t seem to be going well at all.
