A game of questions was one thing. But now Melvin was playing with fire - and Rin was covered in gasoline.
The woman grabbed her bag normally used for infirmary stays and proceeded to shove various supplies and sundries as well as a few changes in clothing. Time was limited. She wasn't going to wait around to see if Melvin successfully obtained a spark.

Melvin had been just about to send the word 'b***h' over twitter when Rin popped in to plead to him to stop. He would have continued, would have LOVED to see Rep flip his s**t, but it was that damn word 'trust' that had him backspacing and writing 'whatever' instead. It wasn't like everyone else had their damn turn throwing a fit on twitter. Not only that, but he was a person responsible for his own actions. He didn't need Rin jumping in to tug on some leash as if he was a untrained dog.
Frustrated, he read her last comment and rose up, setting his coffee cup into the sink and cleaning it before heading off to her room as a brisk walk.Saliru Text to: RinWhat do you mean "I'm Out?"

Rin's phone hummed and brought with it nothing but dread at this point. Thankfully, it wasn't what she'd expected.

She fired off a reply.

He took the stairs and didn't bother to text after he paused to read. "Leaving?"
Scaring off your girlfriend. Great ******** off, Sal." He said as he rose up the steps and headed down the hallway to Rin's door. He knocked as if he was there with a warrant, and waited, glaring at the door. Leaving. What the ******** was her problem?

Rin's phone went off again, this time the news was far less pleasant. She nearly leapt out of her skin as her door was shortly after being banged on. She put the phone away and threw the bag over her shoulder, quickly turning to slide her bedroom window open. At least she was still in the ground level trainee dorms. She pushed her bag out the window and started to follow...

Rin could hear her phone going off in her bag but she was in the middle of crawling out the window and kicked her side table over, causing a loud boom and the sound of the vase on top crashing. s**t. They heard her.

Melvin heard the ring of her phone and the sound of a table being knocked over.
She isn't.
Saliva was cackling with laughter. Sounds like she is!
Dammit! if this was like Jerry all over again, Melvin was going to loose it. Turning, Melvin moved to go to the nearest exit and start heading around the building, his brisk walk now a stiff jog. He decided to just dial her number to see if she would pick up.
"Pick up, Rin."

She rolled out of her window onto the grass outside where she found and grabbed her bag. Her phone was going off. She eyed the caller ID, making sure it wasn't Rep before she was off in a sprint. She flipped her phone open and huffed loudly into it before answering, "What?"

"Did you just jump out of a ******** window to get away from me?! IS THIS A THING NOW?!" Melvin shouted, hearing Rin panting and turning a corner. "Why won't you talk to me?!" He shouted, before pausing when he saw a figure run across the lawn.
"Are you..." He paused, staring at the figure. "...running away from me?" His voice had lost it's volume. She was running away from him. He stopped bitching on twitter because of her when she asked him to trust her, and now she was running away. "You're running away and weren't going to say anything to me?!"

Rin froze. Oh s**t. "That was you?" She stopped running to round back in the direction of Melvin. Or what she was sure was him. She stared at him, she looked stressed and much more pale than usual. But there she was.

He stood there, watching her, looking at her. "Why aren't you staying? Why are you running away?" He said, talking on the phone as he watched her and slowly started to walk towards her.
"Who did you think was at your door?" She hadn't waited even a second after that conversation online to pack her things and decide to leave. Here she was, bag packed.

Rin ended the call and brought up her texts, specifically the one from Rep that came seconds before Melvin reached her door. "Because you wouldn't listen to me. He wasn't going to do anything before. You just had to throw down the gauntlet. He has no sense of self preservation with this Melvin. NONE."

"So I'm supposed to just turn on my back and let him do what he wants? I'm supposed to act as if everything is fine when it isn't? If he's seriously this easy to anger, then he'd just make up an excuse to go after you. Rep will be burying himself if he goes after you. He has no weapon and he's already transferred once. He has no more lucky breaks on his side anymore." He continued to move to her, moving a bit faster than before till he reached her.
"He can't touch you, Rin." He said, stopping a few feet before her before slowly moving closer. "You don't have to run away from him."
His eyes went to the text message as he read it, and then looked at her. Despite wanting to protect her, he felt a racing panic rushing into him. "He...he can't do anything to you. I won't let him."
But what could he do? He wasn't a Sun, and in a fist fight, Rep had sent him to the Infirmary.
