Tonight, it was gorgeous outside. The breeze was rustling the trees. making quiet music to the entire forest, birds were singing with each other, and Kahawia was on his way to the waterfall to meet up with a couple felines he had met here, and happily, they decided to stay. The very thought made him smile.
Tonight, the sunset was a beautiful pink and orange, and not s single cloud covered the great sky. Tonight was a night for stories. Kahawia grew fond of these nights, hearing what other felines got up to, how much adventure had gone on in their life...it didn'y really matter what the story was about, but there was always something special about stories that made everyone who was being told the story come closer with the teller. Kahawia continued walking to the waterfall, picking up a few flowers on his way.

Kira lay alone beside the waterfall in her new home. I'm still not used to that word. Home. I can't believe I've found a place to belong. Kira allowed herself to become lost in her own thoughts, as well as the whispers of the spirits around her. On nights like these, the forest's spirits were always active - in the wind that whistled through the grove, in the rustling of the leaves as it passed, and especially in the trickle of the water as it cascaded into the pool beside her.
Kira had agreed to a meeting with Kahawia and the other feline he had said had chosen to reside with them. Kira was the first to arrive; she hadn't been waiting long, but she wouldn't have minded anyways. She enjoyed her private moments with nature. Always the friendly creature, Kira was excited to meet this new feline for the first time, and a little bit nervous. Kahawia was a great friend, but what if this newcomer was unfriendly? What if they didn't like her?
Kira's thoughts were interrupted as she heard the approach of a large creature. Opening her jaws and drawing the air over her tongue, she picked up her new friend's scent and smiled.
"Kahawia! It's a great night, is it not? A great night to enjoy with friends. Speaking of which, did the other agree to meet with us? Meeting a new friend would make this wondering night even better."

Following behind the greenish male lion, this new place that he would have to call a home looked enjoyable. He stuck behind him, until he heard a female's voice, and appeared to Kahawia's side. His tail twitched as he looked at her then back at him. "I agreed to come meet whoever you spoke about, Kahawia, and this is one of 'em? Anyways, just call me Ea." He said with a blank, but not a happy, expression on his face. Being anti-social and this new feline in good range to strike a conversation, he didn't know what expression to use so stuck with his first one.

Kahawia smiled at Kiraand then turned to Ea and whispered "Lighten up! You dont have to tell any stories, but try to make a good impression?" He smiled a little at Ea and layed next to Kira. "I haven't really seen Shinrin anywhere yet...Maybe she is just preparing to meet you both?" Kahawia looked to the waterfall. It was so beautiful at about sunset.
Kahawia sighed, and wondered when Shinrin would get here.

With a small huff, he plopped down and looked at the rushing water that was lit up by some of the moonlight. Listening to the male, he sighed. "What if this Shinrin character got lost, or is running a bit late? Maybe one of you should go check on 'em, to see what is keeping them?" He said, a bit of concern in the dull tone of his, since someone running late at this time didn't seem as something swell.

"Oh!" Kira laughed in surprise. "I didn't see you there. It's nice to meet you Ea; I am Kira."
Kira was a little confused by this new acquaintance's manner, but she kept it to herself and smiled politely. Not all creatures were as friendly as she was, and she supposed she would need to get used to that.
At Kahawia's next words, Kira titled her head to one side. "Shinrin? I didn't know there was more than one new friend to meet." Of course, she didn't mind; Kira loved meeting new people. The more the merrier! But Ea's words worried her - what if Shinrin was lost? She looked to Kahawia to see what he would do. Being the only one who'd ever met Shinrin, he would be the only one who could really search for her.

Kahawia hid the worry in his expression and voice as he spoke. "I'm sure she is just running late, nothing to worry about. This place is safely protected and she might have some new things to suggest for me, who knows? She is our only council member, its a very busy job, tough to do alone." Kahawia smiled, and in his mind he wondered "Where is she? She actually is very late!" Kahawia just shook it off and remained listening to the quite sounds of the birds in the distance.[quote="[.Silvr-Moon.]"
