 Get Me To The Party On Time!
Last Day of School - Choose Your Own Adventure It's the last day of school. FINALLY. Only one more day until summer freedom and it's promised to be an amazing day! Your class and teacher have been chatting for the past week about the rocking party that's planned. No homework. No tests. Forget about learning! Just some lockers and desks to clean out and then a PARTY.
All you have to do is get to school and make it to 11am. Easy right? What could possibly go wrong on this fabulously wonderful last day of school?The first prompt will be posted Saturday May 25th
For the first prompt you will get 36 hours to post in hopes of giving people plenty of time!1) The character you are playing for this is a random school child of your choice. You do not have to get this character approved in anyway, it is simply a random Knightside student of your choosing. 2) You will have 24 hours after each prompt is posted to respond. You may recieve more time, but you will not recieve less. If you DO NOT respond during that time frame your character will be disqualified from winning. 3) You MUST post in all the prompts to play. If you miss a prompt you are unfortunately out! Similiarly you must post in the first prompt to be eligible to play. 4) Please respect all the decisions of the staff regarding the contest be it winners, eliminations, or anything you can think of. We’re trying our best to be as fair as we can be to everyone. 5) No cheating. You may not edit your CYOA posts. Cheating will result in automatic elimination. 6) Please respect all the players. Quote: BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP!The screeching squeal of the alarm clock cut through the morning quiet, jostling you out of your sweet dreams and the warm coziness of bed. Is it that time already? At least its the very last day of school, and hopefully early mornings, before a summer full of freedom. One more day to make it through and it's one that promises to be some fun. How are you going to get a start to your morning?
A) Awwww.. just five more minutes Mom! You decide to hit the snooze button for 15 more minutes of sleep. Gotta be well rested if you're planning to party on this afternoon!
B) Ughh.. morning zombie. You begrudgingly pull yourself out of bed and begin to try and wake up. Maybe you need a shower to wake up or to plop yourself in front of the tv for a few minutes.
C) As if I was still sleeping! You were WAY too excited for sleep, you practically pounced out the bed before the end of the first beep! You get a head start on getting ready.

Huhhhhhh the alarm clock going off jolted Sapphire out of her bed. Looking at the time she sighed, she should've been excited and ready to bounce off the walls. There was suppose to be a party today wasn't there? This was suppose to be the end of the school year. Summer wasn't it? Or was that tomorrow?
Saphy couldn't remember, instead she slowly pulled herself out of bed and grabbed a cold rag to wash her face. After she finished and grabbed a bowl of coco pebbles she moved to the TV to see what was on. She had time before she left, taking a big bite of the coco pebbles almost spilling her milk. Good thing she was still in her pajamas.
She paused at My Little Pony and sat there watching Spike get hit by rocks.... that wasn't nearly as funny as it was on a Saturday morning.

Morning.
Taylor was not a fan of mornings, nor was he particularly fond of spending said morning in school. If school just cut its hours back, maybe to hours after a good lunch and some play time in the comfort of his own room, then he would be a much better student than he was now.
Not to say he wasn't a good student: he was just not a very awake one. Mornings made him feel like it was walking through a thick fog, slowed down and even his brain idling in a strange way. It made him feel stupid, and he didn't like that feeling.
Maybe it wasn't even school's fault. If there was just a way to wake up, skip over the groggy time, and get right to being fully awake and focused that would make things a lot better too.
But there wasn't, and he rolled out of bed slowly, having to drag his half asleep self to the bathroom to see if he could get his arms to cooperate long enough to help him brush his teeth. His hair always looked funny in the mornings, bits poking up in random directions. He didn't notice it though, picking up his toothbrush and squirting far too much toothpaste on it before wasting half of it in the sink and then brushing his teeth.
Mornings were just dumb.

Party. Party. PartyPartyPartyParty! PARTY! Merrick was already out of bed and zipping to her closet, throwing open the sliding doors with far more forced than required. Oh, what to wear, what to wear? Did it even matter? As long as it was cool, comfortable and allowed her to move freely, who cared?!?
Giggling and practically vibrating from excitement, she pulled on the first summer dress she saw, yanking it over her head and smoothing it out. Next came some cute sandals her Daddy had brought home for her just the night before. Daddy always made sure she had the cutest clothes! Once dressed, she ran to the bathroom to wash her face and pull her hair back from her face. Then, it was on to the table where her father had laid out a plate of cottage cheese, fresh cantaloupe and whole grain toast for her. Perfect!
Eating rapidly, but neatly, Merrick inhaled her breakfast, slid her dishes into the sink, kissed her father on the cheek and raced back to the bathroom to brush her teeth. Once done, she grinned crookedly at her reflection. Just like her idol Spongebob, she was READY.

Milo was awake before his alarm even went off, bouncing out of bed the moment it went off. He kept it across the room from him, so that he had to get up when it went off, and managed to turn it off before the beeping stopped.
Yes! He still had it! He was faster than the alarm clock!

Rowen opened her eyes blearily as the annoying ‘bleep bleep’ noise refused to do the sensible thing and shut up.
Still half-asleep she fumbled for Mister Racoon and lobbed him in the direction of the annoying sound. The resulting crash managed to jolt her somewhat more awake, awake enough to realise that that crash must have been the alarm clock.
Ugh morning, which meant school, which meant having to actually get up. Glumly Rowan dragged herself out of her cozy bed, gave Bugsy, her favourite teddy, a pat and dragged herself downstairs to the kitchen. A bowl of lucky charms (which was spent mostly picking out the charms and ignoring the cereal), a couple of slices of toast and a cup of juice later and Rowen finally felt somewhat more alive. It helped that after today there would be no more school – at least not until after the summer. Remembering about the party that was going on later on helped even more.

Marisha whimpers as the dreaded alarm went of in her ear. This was not her morning, not that any morning was. However this one was worse than mostly due to her last page of homework for the year keeping her up late after dinner. She glared at the blaring alarm from under her many blankets. Marisha then reaches out and slaps the snooze button. She needed her sleep and she figured if she ran she would still make it to school in time if she ran. Besides, her mom would make sure she made it right?
With that thought in mind she squirmed back under the covers and attempted to fall back asleep. Which at first seemed rather hard as the sun seemed determined to annoy her. It kept streaming in her one window as it raised above the horizon. Sighing she grabs her extra pillow and puts it over her eyes and then snuggles her stuffed cat plush. After this Marisha finally found herself falling back asleep. She smiled slightly as her eyes closed again for the next fifteen minutes.
Chooses A) Awwww.. just five more minutes Mom! You decide to hit the snooze button for 15 more minutes of sleep. Gotta be well rested if you're planning to party on this afternoon!

Kaia was not exactly what anyone would call a morning person. Oh, she knew what mornings looked like and all because she had to but more often than not desperately wished someone had made them later in the day. Unfortunately, accoring to Mommy's command this was the routine. Little girls should know how to get out of bed. If she didn't mommy often employed the water helicopter technique dumping water over the sleeping girl that was not really warmer than an arctic tundra. She'd only had to do that twice before she learned her lesson.
So, as much as she might have wished for a few more minutes she found herself instead rolling out of bed, plopping onto the floor, and nearly crawling toward the bathroom so she could take a morning shower.

Rosie always woke up at the same time in the morning. It didn't matter was it the weekend or a week day she always woke up at 6:30 am. This day was no exception. After rubbing her eyes a little bit she pressed the alarm off and got herself off the bed. She wandered over to the large cage in her room that had been covered a sheet and carefully removed the cloth to the table next to the cage.
"Good morning, my little princes," she softly spoke to two canaries that lived in the cage. "Today is the last day of school. Tomorrow I can spend the whole day with you. Isn't that exciting?" she chatted with birds while cleaning the cage a bit. She also made sure their water was fresh and they had enough seeds to eat before rushing in the shower.
When Rosie checked the time at the clock in the kitchen she smiled. There was still time left. She would make her mommy and daddy proud again.

Beep. Beep. Beepbeepbeepbee- Taylor slammed her hand down on her alarm clock and groaned internally before dragging herself up to look at the time of it. Morning always came too early and Taylor yawned as she dragged herself up and out of her bed while trying to will herself awake a little more so she didn't trip over her own feet.
While today was slated to be fun, a party after all was pretty awesome, she couldn't bring herself to feel too excited. It was still the morning, which meant she was dragged from her sleep and still trying to function beyond the haze of dream time.
Slowly, she stumbled into the bathroom to get a shower on and wake herself up.
Option: B) Ughh.. morning zombie. You begrudgingly pull yourself out of bed and begin to try and wake up. Maybe you need a shower to wake up or to plop yourself in front of the tv for a few minutes.

Jenny's alarms started to go off a half hour before she actually had to get up but still the young girl slept on. Her small head shoved under the many pillows and stuffed animals strewn across the bed. It wasn't until her father banged on the door, yelling at her to get up, that the little girl groggily staggered across the room to slap at the snooze button of the three alarms... the one with country playing cut off right in the middle of a country version of a Elvis song, while the one blaring nature sounds cut off in the middle of a jay bird singing out its heart, the last one buzzing in the most annoying fashion was gratefully silenced at the beginning of its buzzing cycle.
With only the light spilling in from the hall Jenny navigated her toy filled floor, occasionally nudging aside a doll or stepping on the out flung leg of a teddy bear until she reached her chest of clothes. Still more than half asleep she dragged a pair of shorts and a yellow t-shirt on before pocketing a pair of socks and stumbling to the bathroom to brush her teeth. The whole house hold knew that in ten minutes she would be asleep in the downstairs chair, waiting for the ride to school. Only the morning light with the breeze tugging at her long hair would she wake up fully, ready to great the day finally

(Apologies to the couple of you that did already mention getting dressed. XD I should have thought that logically people would have dressed their characters or done breakfast in their first posts, but I didn't so I had to finagle/redo the second prompt a bit.
On the bright side NOONE has been cut yet. EVERYONE can respond to the 2nd prompt after which the first cuts may occur.)

After watching the Television for a while Sapphire got up and moved to the kitchen where her mother was. "Don't forget you promised cupcakes." She reminded as she shoved her step stool over to the sink so she could reach the handle.
"They're decorated and everything right?" She rinsed out her milk and set the bowl in the sink with her spoon in it before moving the step stool back out of the way with a squeal. Looking towards her mother expectantly.
"Wait cupcakes?" Her mother faked shock that Sapphire hadn't told her about it. "You didn't say anything about cupcakes for school."
"Funny mom, what did we make last night?"
"I thought those were for us."
Sapphire rolled her eyes, "Not all of them!" With that the child walked off shaking her head. "I'm going to go get dressed. Can you make sure I have something to carry the cupcakes in?"
While she left her mother doing that Sapphire pulled out a nice little skort and tank top outfit. The skort was purple and the tanktop was black with Twilight sparkle on it and the words bookworm. Sapphire didn't care if the school didn't like her choice of outfits. She also grabbed her Light up sneakers and a pair of black and purple toe socks that went up to her knees. Once she was happy with that she pulled her hair back as she walked back into the kitchen to watch her mother.
"That picnic basket has the cupcakes in it?" She asked looking a little worried, that wasn't how you carried cupcakes!
"Well, yes of course. You said you wanted something you could carry. This is the best solution. You don't want me taking you in the car." Her mother sighed as she shook her head. "The cupcakes are in Tupperware, in the basket and it's covered. I promise it's all safe.
"I should've wore a hood. Kids are going to call me little red riding hood." Sapphire shook her head as she looked morosely at the basket. It was so dumb.
