"Get up," Howlite's order lacked emotion as she flicked her black eyes over the pair of battered women, nodding in response to the now-powered Thyone's fluid salute.
"The mission isn't over, Captain." Her gloved hand found the back of the woman's uniform and hauled her to her feet with terrifying ease.
Howlite pointed at a table with several chairs, along with drinks, snacks, and first-aid supplies. "Clean yourselves up."
With that, The General-King blinked out of the room, to see what was left of her lieutenants.
---
With the intimidating force momentarily gone, Thyone settled into a chair, willing her pulse to slow down. Her chest still heaved with adrenaline and fear, and her hands shook as they closed around a bottle of water.
"That went well," she tried, ignoring the shake in her own voice and avoiding eye contact with the cheerful, if exhausted, captain.

Looking at a chair was perhaps the most harrowing part of the night. Linarite could stand but she didn't necessarily want to. Teleporting on her own was tiring. Teleporting two people into the Negaverse with no energy to really draw on after a fight was exhausting. All she wanted to do was cocoon down into the blankets of her bed, preferably on her stomach, because sitting hurt. For a long moment Lina considered the floor again, wondering if it would be worth the Wrath of Howlite when she returned with Bischofite and Leucite. Deciding it wasn't worth it, she grabbed a can of Red Bull to keep herself awake until she could request an energy infusion to help the healing. Inching herself down into a chair with a low hiss of pain, wondering perhaps if standing wasn't the better option, Lena's attention finally turned on her senshi friend. She looked unsettled. Why unsettled? Propping her chin on her hand, trying to stay awake, the bluenette nodded. "Should have no problem with the footage. I asked the guys to keep their faces out of frame a lot just in case but she's ferocious." Shifting in her chair paid tribute to that fact, shaking her head. "You okay?"

"I'm fine," Her answer came too quickly, the words tripping over themselves. Thyone took a long drink to settle her nerves and stall for a moment as she gathered her thoughts.
She was safe, now.
"I know her." She paused. "Pandora." She paused again, as her brows furrowed, "The senshi," the explanation was unnecessary, but she provided it nonetheless. "We've fought a number of times. She's very..." A wave of her hand, "You saw."
Thyone didn't want to admit that the wild redhead terrified her.
"I suppose it made for a good reaction on camera, though." Her tone was dry now, as she finally began to relax.

To be entirely honest, Linarite didn't know much about why they had done this. There was a rough explanation that it had something to do with the television, it was PR, trying to get the idea out there that they weren't the bad guys. Having been present for what Tanzanite had done on television, what she and Sailor Nea had done together, it made sense. Howlite had commanded her and so she had gone along with it.
Now she wondered if perhaps Thyone hadn't been involved in choosing their target. It would have made sense to her mind, a senshi that was known to have physical leanings rather than magical ones, making it something easier to understand. It was also nice to put a name to the face so they could avoid her in the future. Thyone seemed nervous and almost understandably so.
Getting tackled in those heels would be a b***h and a half.
"It should be great unless somewhere we messed it up. Things happened pretty quickly once that gorilla of a girl tackled me but I think it's okay. God help us if it's not because Howlite'll have us all drilling for weeks." Her blue head thumped against the table, a small pain sound before breathing evened out.
Was she napping?!

"No matter. Osumilite will edit it accordingly, and I think the audio is being cut. Councilwoman Hollister will be there to tearful narrate the events, after all," Thyone's voice was somewhat dark - bitter, even, as she considered the next part of their little project.
While Howlite wasn't one for stunts, she had taken on the task of organizing the team for it. It was a careful operation, and what SpecOps was made for, after all.
Lina's head hit the table, and Thyone startled. Despite the fact that the Captain was in no condition to notice, she mentally reprimanded herself for her reaction.
Surprisingly enough, she appreciated the quiet. Time to reflect on just how convoluted her interactions with the senshi of Jealousy had become and time to compose herself before the debriefing began and she had to deal with curious questions about how real her "acting" had become.

Howlite had been gone only a few short minutes when she reappeared with two lieutenants that were definitely not in the shape the women had left them.
Thyone's muscles tightened at the thought of how ferocious Pandora's anger must have been, to do damage to two opponents. Instead of speaking, she reached out a hand to shake Linarite awake, though her hazel eyes lingered on the young men with sympathy. She'd help patch them up when Howlite was through with them.
The General King released them and reached into a pouch on her belt. When she opened her hand, four orbs rested on her palm. Energy. "These will accelerate your healing and bring your pain to manageable levels." They were set on the table, and she took her seat, waiting until the group had settled before speaking again.
"Captain, give me your report."

Leucite wasted no time in hobbling over to the table, grabbing two of the orbs, and slumping down in a chair while he absorbed them. They soothed his wounds and as the General-King said, brought his pain to a tolerable level. He had tried to position himself so it wouldn't look like he was trying to jump rank or anything, while still remaining close to Howlite. While the woman filled him with complete and utter dread - she was also a comfort. She had after all brought him into the Negaverse that fateful evening. Once he'd absorbed the energy completely - he turned his attention to Linarite, taking great pains to not focus to long on Thyone as his eyes crossed over her. He did... after all... have a thing for brunettes, well any women that dressed like THAT really - but this was neither the time or the place to allow his mind to wander where it didn't need to be in the first place. He had just gotten back together with the ex, after all.

Feeling the shake, Linarite's head came up as if she'd been sleeping for hours instead of mere minutes. It might have had something to do with the fact that a small cache of energy had just been placed in front of her, a gleam in her eye that had everything to do with a junkie getting her next fix. "Never let it be said you aren't my dearest love." It was the only flippant comment she made, knowing how Howlite felt about such things when in the midst of serious discussion. This qualified, clearly, as one of those times and so the captain stood, snapping to attention before going to parade rest. "After releasing the preselected youma towards Sailor Thyone in civilian guise, the lieutenants and I followed at distance so as to mask our signatures from nearby senshi. It did not take long for the attentions of one Sailor Pandora, a super senshi, to be engaged. At that point I gave my final orders to Bischofite and Leucite, myself engaging the senshi once she'd destroyed the youma." One hand reached back to pat her backside, around the area of her hip, with rueful regret in her eyes. "I admit I did not expect her to rush me, physically. Many senshi prefer to throw their magic out as soon as possible so as not to risk injury but this one seemed to not care that I could rip out her starseed." Temptation still lurked, bitter regret flavoring her words. "But of course I did not. Our lieutenants responded with well-appreciated speed to my signal and from there performed their parts well. I would like to recommend that in the notes for the mission that be noted." It was the least she could do; they looked more worse-for-wear than Linarite herself did! Might as well get something out of it. "I then pulled Sailor Thyone out of the range of cameras and teleported us here to meet you. That's all I've got." Dismissing herself, she sank back into her chair with exaggerated carefulness, relieved when the pain didn't immediately spike up her back. "Remind me to be more careful next time? I didn't expect this to be a literal pain in the a**."

Howlite was silent, occassionally glancing up to flick her black eyes over the curvy young Captain before returning her attention to whatever she was noting on her clipboard. Linarite would invariably tell her much more after everyone had been dismissed, but for now, it would do. When she sat back down, there was a brief pause.
"Thyone," Howlite prompted, going in order of seniority.
"General-King," The senshi of hedonism rose from her seat in a single, fluid movement, her british accent more apparent due to exhaustion.
Her stance was less formal, one gold-painted hand resting on her hip. "I led the youma on our designated route to the target location, and once there, called for help. The white moon senshi that responded was one Pandora, power sphere Jealousy. Her attacks, that I have seen, cause a burning sensation that is very unpleasant. In my role, I was unable to warn the team that she is very aggressive. She handled the youma easily - as intended, and I presented myself as a frightened - if brave - civilian.
I signalled to Captain Linarite and she responded immediately, interupting a conversation to 'save' me from the approaching threat. Sailor Pandora attacked immediately. Knowing her fighting style, I stepped in to prevent unnecessary damage, and the Captain signalled Lieutenants Leucite and Bischofite. They responded with commendable speed." Her golden lips curved slightly in a smile. "Their behavior will look appropriately dashing on camera. Captain Linarite and I cleared the scene to await this debriefing."
Resisting the urge to inquire as to Pandora's fate, she continued.
"The footage should be in the process of recovery by Captain Osumilite's team and will be edited shortly. In my civilian guise, I will give an impassioned interview discussing the attack and my heartfelt gratitude to the three that saved my life."
That said, she took her seat.
Howlite turned her dark eyes toward the lieutenants, expectant.

Leucite placed both hands on the table and slowly stood, it wasn't alphabetical order - or seniority as far as he knew. But he stood as quickly as he could - if Bischofite beat him up he'd sit back down but as it was he felt that Howlite was waiting for them to add their two cents - even if that was about all they had to add. He slowly stepped to where about the other two had stood before, snapping to attention and delivering a salute to the General-King. "General-King Howlite, ma'am," he dropped the salute crisply, but remained at attention - he was after all, addressing a General-King. "Having now gone toe-to-toe with Sailor Pandora, I can attest that her fighting style is extremely aggressive. I am unsure what exactly spurred her to be as aggressive as she was, but she seemed frantic the moment we pulled Sailor Thyone's civilian form away from the scene. It was all I and Lt. Bischofite could do to contain her long enough for Captain Linarite and Sailor Thyone to escape. Her attack is quite... unpleasent - but as always, I am ever willing to suffer any injury provided it benefits our cause." Leucite cleared his throat and continued. "I feel that Captain Linarite briefed us well on what was required of us, and I can attest to Lt. Bischofite's speedy reaction time. If it had not been for him, I would have been far worse off than I am now - he was able to draw the senshi's attention away from me long enough for me to recover from her attack. That is of course, before you arrived and extracted us - Ma'am,"Leucite had once again turned to face the General-King. She made him nervous but he felt this next part needed to be said. "It is my hope that should another one of these missions come up, that I can volunteer to continue to serve as a distraction or interdiction for Captain Linarite or any other "lead." I believe my weapon, and it's symbolism, would only benefit the cause as a whole."That said, he cleared his throat again. "That is all I have to report, Ma'am," He saluted the General-King again, and slowly made his way back to his seat.

Despite the seething ache plaguing him, Bischofite forced himself to walk to the nearest seat and collapsed into it with as much grace as his battered body could manage. Even breathing hurt; he'd lost track of how many times the senshi scored a hit on him. Perhaps if he was curious, he could count the bruises later.
For now, the commanding officer in the room recommended they consume the energy orbs, and Bischofite assumed they proved a far better alternative than typical western medicine. He followed suit with the suggestion without a second thought; if pain could be avoided, he avoided it. However, given their mission, he'd already broken that rule.
He hadn't expected a senshi to prove herself so ruthless.
Bischofite watched each of the speakers, though he found it difficult to concentrate on their speeches through all the frivolous compliments and superfluous information. Is that what reporting was all about? a**-patting and reiteration? If so, he preferred to keep to his silence. Besides, breathing through his nose proved increasingly hard, given the inflamed tissue and coagulated blood. Some of it ran down the back of his throat, and he could feel it slowly crusting over every time he inhaled.
Leucite droned on for what felt like ages, and Bischofite caught himself glazing over or slowly shifting his gaze toward the sultry women across the room. Finally, as the other lieutenant sat, he figured it was his turn.
Bischofite wasn't sure he'd remember the salute appropriate to America, but luckily for him, a German salute was uncannily similar. It seemed having a brother in the military finally paid off. "General-King Howlite." He neglected to pronounce the g with a j-sound.
"It is as zey said," he dropped the attempt he made at an American accent during the filming; he was glad to finally speak in a way natural to him. "Captain Linarite engaged ze enemy as planned, and she gave ze order for our entrance wis'out wasting time. Leucite used ze opportunity to brandish his American flag, and I tried to keep my face from ze camera at Linarite's behest. Our senshi target attacked us predictably, and ze two girls escaped efficiently.
"I sink you'f heard every iteration of ze mission. I haf' little to contribute aside from ze fact zat everyone acted urgently and wis' dedication to ze task. If offered an opportunity to beat ze s**t out of an enemy in ze future, I would gladly accept." Especially if it meant he survived it with less injury. He coughed, and wet flakes of coagulated blood spattered across his hand.
Finally he sat back down with a strained sigh; even with the energy orbs, Pandora's assault left him smoldering in the fires of pain.

Howlite spent another moment quietly writing on her clipboard before looking over the assembled officers. "This operation has been deemed a success." It was as flattering as she got, though it was clear that she wasn't displeased. Each of them had a different strength,
"You are dismissed." They could seek triage as appropriate, whether that simply be using the first-aid supplies sitting on the table, going to the hospital, or heading home.
As they got up to go, the General-King held up a hand, "Lieutenant Bischofite," Black eyes met his, as she paused him for only a moment, and it was possible that a ghost of a smile touched her stern features. "Consider transferring to Special Operations."
She would have to speak with Zinkenite to figure out why, exactly, he was currently under Intelligence's care. A wasted resource, to be certain.
Howlite didn't seem surprised when Linarite stayed seated, long after the others had left the room and while the General-King finished her notes.
Thyone paused outside the door, glancing over the men with her. They were beat up, but Pandora's magic didn't cause lasting damage - no, all that remained were her physical attacks. "There are superior officers down the hall who can take us to wherever we want to go." Home, to the hospital, to a night club, whichever. The corrupt senshi was eager for the first of those two options, and a long soak in her large tub.
Her golden lips pursed in vague concern as she looked over the blood smeared on Bischofite's face. "Is it broken?"

Bischofite hesitated when the General-King addressed him. His lips peeled upward in a confident smirk when she recommended Special Operations. Perhaps he'd find more use there; he figured his initial placement into intelligence stemmed from his general Benitoite location in the branches rather than his own talents. Bischofite didn't appreciate the haughty blonde's guidance, his smothering approach toward training, as he intended to make his own name in the Negaverse.
He nodded silently before heading toward the door, trying to disguise a slight limp.
Thyone addressed the two outside, and he leaned against the wall, watching her intently as she spoke. As she moved, gestured, the soft gold jewelry adorning her arms struck each other in almost a harmonic, full sound. She produced something of her own symphony, between her accessories and her voice. Even her hair shifted animatedly, full of vibrant curls that framed her face and swayed across her shoulders. A pinnacle of beauty in her own right.
At least she suggested some means of leaving this unusual barracks, situated in the bowels of the planet. Slinking into bed and passing out for several well-earned hours sounded like a proper reward for his hard work that day.
Especially if it involved her.
"Mmm?" Oh, his nose. "Maybe." It ached terribly, but the tissue swelling stymied the flow of blood, reducing it to a trickle. He hesitated to find out the true extent of the damage.
"Are you alright?" Pandora seemed wholly obsessed with the idea of finding Thyone, or Linarite. He couldn't tell which. However, he knew from the force and ferocity she demonstrated that she fixated on one of the two women, and intended to cremate anyone who sought to hamper her efforts. She'd purge the world with her scorn if it meant she'd locate one of the girls. "Next time you sign up for one of zese strange missions, pick a part zat involves a little less danger." He grinned crookedly, before starting down the hall.

Leucite hung back behind the other two as they exited, but as soon as he could get the space, he carefully walked between them. "Pardon," he said softly as he hobbled his way down the hallway. He had no desire to hang around these two at the moment. All he wanted to do was go home and sleep for the better part of a week, maybe call up Cora later if he was feeling better and see if she wanted to spend some time with him.
Rubbing the bridge of his nose, he decided to seek out someone who could get him the hell outta dodge. He had some resting to do.
