hereFocusing the rest of her power into the sand, spikes of ice erupted in two directions. Aiming at two separate dragons. Giving a satisfied look to the left as she pulled her sword from the sand. Her body practically flying towards the opposite dragon. She could hear the scream of the first as it was punctured and fell into dust, her eyes trained on the other dragon. Her sword held out as she ran along the beasts side. It didn't have time to react to the attack while it was preparing it's own strike.
Didn't they know by now that Erionda wanted speed? And by planting themselves down like that would only cause them more pain? Giving a satisfied grunt as the dragon fell into dust beside her. The tug on her blade diminished with the death. Her hair changing directions like a shrouded shadow over a beast. Her head turning towards the smallest of all the Kiandri dragons.
Erionda's smile widened to show her teeth, her confidence soaring through the roof as they locked gazes with each other. She could see the small dragon trembling as she took a step closer. Clicking her tongue in a tsk like sound.
The dragon tried to extend it's wings to look bigger, to appear more frightening. Erionda could see through the guise. It was the smallest out of a large horde. "Attacking my lone companion was a mistake." Erionda muttered raising her blade for a final attack on the fearful Kiandri. "Attacking with more than one against a single baby is even worse!" Erionda swung her blade down, missing the small Kiandri as it darted a few steps away. Squealing back at her with a chatter.
"Deamon!" Erionda could hear it shout. "Reaper of Kiandri! Who lives at the graveyard. A curse. A deamon."
Erionda blinked in surprise. Did this mean it was going to spread the word to leave her home alone? To leave the Drakein alone? Erionda couldn't help but chuckle mentally subconsciously gazing about the sand at the fallen orbs. Some had been half covered by the sand during the fight.
Bending down to pick up the orb by her feet Erionda blinked. She hadn't even considered orbs once. Her main objective had been to protect Lanzecki. Sweeping over the sand, Erionda counted seven Kiandri orbs. Perhaps people really were stronger when they had something to protect after all.
