Basic Information About the Market
At the start of the "day", there is a light glow similar to that of pre-dawn just before the sun rises. It's grey, it's dim. During this brief time, the Market closes/slows down. This lasts for 2 hours before growing steadily darker (it will take 4 hours to reach the complete darkness of "night"). Night will take up the majority of the24-hours. But for these first 2 hours, everything is still and quiet. You will rarely see anyone outside - and those who are outside usually spend this time alone, cleaning up the streets and market. If anyone speaks during this time, they do so very quietly and very briefly. There is no such thing as "day."
Early Entry
Only enter the forums with [ ✔ ]. Do not post in the forums with [ ✘ ].
Follow all the rules of the forum. You do not have to follow the rules of the clubs or territories: those are just for RP purposes (and breaking them keeps things interesting).
Rules
1. Keep sexual content PG-13.
2. Violent content may be R.
3. Be mature.
4. No killing of player characters. (NPCs are a different manner.)
5. Indulge yourselves.
6. Use mature language - unless the situation demands otherwise.
7. All images in your posts must be no wider than 700 and no taller than 600.
8. Use any text color you like, but if it's too bright/light to be read, the color will be removed by a moderator. You may go back and replace it with another color.
9. Start with one character. You may have up to three characters at a time. Once you reach three, you must get rid of a character before creating a new one. You can play yourself, your favorite RP character (of yours), or make your own! Get creative.
10. Play the same character(s) throughout the entire forum.
11. Questions? Post them in this thread and you will be answered by a moderator. Make sure to check the questions first to see if yours has already been answered.
12. Only play your character - no NPC, animals, etc. This rule is not flexible. Only play you. The moderators will play all NPCs, animals, etc. If you have anything in your post controlling the action or dialog of a character or even animal that is not your own approved character, it will be removed from your post. To include such things in your post, RP via PM with the captain or a moderator. (You PM what your character does, they reply with the reaction, and back to you. You put it all together in your post.) If it is another member's character, do the same, but with the member. At the bottom of your post, be sure to note that it was worked out via PM and with whom.
Posting
When you enter a thread, stay in that thread until your next location is reached.
For instance, once you enter the market square, you will post there. When you want to leave the market square, continue posting in that thread until you set foot into the next location (thread).
Check the Town Square each day for limited time events and festivals. There will be lots to do, games to play, prizes to win, and lots of great RPing going on.
Above is enough for you to begin with. The rest is under construction for the time being. Enjoy your early entry. Violation of the rules will revoke your early entry; you will have to wait until everyone else has been let in before being allowed back. Check the Facebook group for updates. If you are not in the Facebook group, message the captain for a link to join or just pay attention to changes made here.
