Tau scratched at the top of his head. Today was one hot day and this head piece was doing nothing to help. Too bad he couldn't take it off. That would just be ridiculous, him without a headdress. how would he impress the ladies then?
He looked around for where he was at. He thought that he was right outside of the village, but he seemed to have gotten lost. Was he in Jauhar? There were incredibly lush plants all around and added to the heat was this insane humidity that he had never felt before. Tau hadn't actually been anywhere outside of Tale, and he really didn't plan to change that anytime soon.
He scratched his head out of confusion this time and looked around. Was this a garden? Was this the garden he had been hearing about lately? The one where that girl had just up and started one here for everyone? What was her name... Am...ona? No that wasn't right? Eh, whatever. It wasn't all that important to Tau, what was important was that he saw a pretty looking thing with brown hair at the end of the garden.

A pair of feet walked through the edge of a garden that Betoto came across. She smelled the aroma from the plants and gave a satisfied sigh. Hearing her sister talking about how a woman, Aminah, created it, she wanted to see the peaceful beauty. Kneeling down next to some of the flowers, Betoto watched as small bugs flew from one plant to another.
A couple minuets went by and as Betoto looked around, she saw a man walking towards her. She rarely saw him, but always knew he was around from his head piece. A thought crossed her mind, What is he doing I wonder?
Bringing her attention back to a flower, she focused on the light design on the petals, trying not to bring much attention to herself.

Aminah wiped the sweat from her forehead. Today had been a long day, and it was barely noon. She had been pruning and watering and weeding all morning. Her vines holding plants in their hangers had grown overnight and Aminah had had to shift those also, just so that the humidity she had tried so hard to create wouldn't move with her hanging plants.
The plants were waist high now, and ready for some more pruning and their first harvest. The summer heat had done them good and there were plenty of fruits and berries and leaves to gather. She smiled with contentment at all that she had accomplished since she had come back from Zena. Maybe soon she could expand her garden even further. Those in the village seemed to appreciate the constant supply of food that she grew, and she was sure that they would make use of more space if she got around to it.
With Keilana pregnant though, she had been spending most of her free time with her and not in her garden. She had been putting in the bare minimum around here and she really needed to step up her game.
She sat back on her heels and looked around at her garden. Oh, there were people here. Aminah had gotten a few visitors in the past, but they were still rare and in between. Usually those that came waited for her at her house and wanted some food.

Tau sauntered over to the girl at the other end of the garden inspecting a flower. No doubt she would like what she sees, but just in case he combed through his hair with his fingers and straightened his clothes.
He pretended to look at the flowers from the same plant she was looking at and "accidentally" bumped shoulders with her. "Oho. Sorry, I was trying to get a better look at this flower in front of me. So... come here often?" He wiggled his eyebrows at the girl and gave her a smolder he was sure she couldn't resist.
Pshhh... he could care less about plants, he ate what he ate and didn't have time to look at them.
"I'm Tau. I'm sure you've heard of me." He flipped his hair and cocked his hips. "So what do they call you? Must be as pretty as this flower."

Betoto watched Tau through her peripheral vision, wondering what the man was going to do. When she felt a bump against her shoulder, she turned and slightly blushed from his cheesy pick up line. A laugh escaped Betoto's lips before she actually looked at him.
Actually it's my first time here. She said as she felt a flower on her fingertips, loving the softness. When she heard him introduce himself she gave a smile, only to giggle again when he complemented her. I'm Betoto. She said with a smile.
The wind blew, waving her chestnut hair around her and a sigh escaped her lips as she closed her eyes. Ah, I love the outdoors. She said out loud before opening them to Tau. How about you? She asked with a wide smile.

Aminah stood from her crouch and approached the two that were now starting to talk to each other. Anyone visiting her garden was alright by Aminah and these two in particular she had never seen before. Curiously enough, the young man in the gardens was covered in body paint and wearing a ridiculous headdress. What could that be about?
The young girl seemed sweet, if not a little odd. She couldn't hear what they were saying but she reminded Aminah of a nondwa during mating season, all shy and overly sensual.
Aminah had to learn not to get carried away with herself and harshly judge others. It wasn't nice and Aminah was the first one to know about being judged.
She rubbed the back of her neck with her dirt stained hands. "Hello. How're you two today? I don't think I've met either of you before, what brings you here to my garden?" Aminah had to quickly think about what she must look like to the others. A sweaty, stinky mess no doubt. She would have to take a long bath after working today, not that she was done yet.

Tau was mentally high-fiving himself when Betoto actually responded to his charm. This was a first. He almost couldn't believe it was going so well... until the other woman showed up... Amona, or whatever.
Damn. Way to kill the mood. But hey, this woman wasn't so bad looking herself, and Tau liked older women. He tugged on his cloak and leaned into his introduction. "Why hello there beautiful. My name's Tau. Am I to believe that something as lovely and petite as yourself made all of this?" He gestured to the whole of the garden and then back to Betoto.
"I was just telling Betoto here how much I love gardens. The outdoors is just so... refreshing." He grinned at the woman in front of him. If his lines worked once today, they could work again. "But it looks to me like you could use a strong man around here to help you. Especially under such hot weather." He leaned into the flower bush Betoto had been examining, thinking it would hold his weight no problem.
He was wrong. He fell through the feeble bush and crashed to the ground below with a yelp.
