The day seemed bright and shiny as Zhi Park sat behind the fold-out table she usually was during this event, ever since she had first been recruited as the matchmaker extraordinaire for the people of Sonata Town. She even had proof of her successes as blow up pictures of a couple of the now happily married couples were set up behind her – Freja and Alex Park, Yoakim and Eleanor LeBlanc (Divorced or not, they had been married and happy at one point!), and, as an extra big poster inbetween the two, she had herself and River placed up for everyone to see~ She hadn't really fallen in love with River during this festival, but it was still the best couple and, besides, it was one of her biggest successes! She smiled as she folded her arms over the soft pink table cloth, a clipboard set face-down beside her with a list of all the arranged couples – just in case anyone got lost or needed help, Zhi was here to do the job! Hopefully, everyone would come and go quickly so she could get her own special dinner date with River ready~
((I'll throw in my own soon~ uwu For now, feel free to post with you characters! ))

Angela was a little leery of this whole match making thing. But she had a momentary lapse of sanity and had signed up for something and now she was stuck. Well, she could have stood her date up but that seemed a little mean so here she was at the public garden with a bouquet of white roses, waiting for some stranger to come talk to her. She was mentally going over several defensive moves just in case her date was a psycho, so she could break his arms and flee for her life. But hopefully it was someone normal. Because she'd even dressed up for the occasion; she'd put her hair up in a fancy updo and was even wearing a dress. A peach colored one with, with spaghetti straps and little floaty chiffon layers over the skirt and things. She actually looked like a girl. It was amazing. (She may or may not have been wearing some undergarments that were...ah...bust enhancing...)

Umi arrived at the park with a bouquet of pink cyclamens in tow. She wasn't really sure why she'd signed up for the blind date thing but it sounded like fun, as well as a great way to meet people. Or a person anyway. Singular. But still, knowing one person was better than knowing, well, none. And her parents had been encouraging her to get out of the house a bit so this was a perfect chance. (Though Umi was pretty sure they just wanted her out of the way for some kind of mushy, romantic parent date--and she was glad to be far, far away from that mess). But at any rate, she had gotten dressed up a bit and had gotten her bouquet, and was now wandering around wondering if she should just sit somewhere and wait, or jump up and down waving the bouquet around or...what. Because, really, how was someone supposed to find her like this? What if her date didn't even know what a cyclamen was? She sure as hell didn't before she'd looked them up. Ah well. Hopefully her date had looked them up too. And if not, well, maybe there would be some single people around that she could talk to. Augh! This was weird. And...she felt silly. Maybe she'd just find a place to sit. Looking around, she headed toward a stone bench, figuring she would just stay put and let her date do the wandering around like a doofus.

Tshila arrived to the public garden breathlessly, with a slightly wilted bouquet of white camellias. They had been nice, fresh, and wonderfully perky earlier in the day when she'd first bought them but then she had to get ready for her date and all that. And, well, it took a while. And why shouldn't it? She had take a long shower with fancy soaps so she'd smell nice. Then she had to blow dry her hair and brush it and put it up...then decide she hated it, and take it down. Then she had to put it up again. Then she had to pick out a dress...and decide her hair didn't go with it, and re-do her hair again. Then she had to decide her dress sent the wrong message, so she had to pick a new one. Which meant re-doing her hair again. It was a long, arduous affair to just get ready to go on a date with a guy she didn't even know. And by the end of it, well, her bouquet was looking a little wilty. She'd tried putting it water before leaving but there wasn't really enough time to make it perk up so she was just kind of hoping her date showed up before the flowers actually started falling off it. And she was also kind of hoping her date wasn't the sort of guy who really liked flowers. Adjusting her skirt, Tshila wondered for the hundredth time or so if she'd chosen the right outfit. It was kind of casual but summery and the skirt was a bit short but she was hoping, you know, she was going out with someone who appreciated legs. And girls in really tall heels. And who didn't think a little cleavage meant he was going to get lucky! Because it totally did not. Unless he was really cute and nice, in which case it might. Maybe. She was really, really hoping her date was kind of like a buff surfer guy or something. Mm. Yes. With, like, dreadlocks and muscles. And a nice tan. And dreamy blue eyes. Ooh! She was getting excited about this now. Maybe she should go find some place to sit and relax and wait for him to find her. Or she could just keep wandering around admiring the flowers because, wow! This place was totally gorgeous! Definitely the best place for a blind date.

Sethrian had spent most of the early afternoon alternating between being determined to go this blasted event he'd signed up for, and being utterly terrified of the prospect and deciding to spend the entire evening moping in his kitchen. He'd gotten the correspondance to look for a person with a bouquet of ambrosia. He wasn't really even sure what those looked like so he'd tried looking them up only to find there were different variants and he had no idea which one his date would be carrying. So he'd sort of desperately (and pathetically) tried to remember what all the variants looked like so he could find this person and...he didn't know. Why had he done this to himself? He was terrible with people, women in particular. He had a tendancy to get...slapped by them. A lot. The last time he'd even been on a date was during his first year of college, when some girl had been dared by her friends to see if she could get him to go out with her and kiss her. He was horrible at small talk and at socializing in general and...and...he really should just not even go to this thing. Which, of course, was why he was now standing at the entrance of the public garden in a nice shirt and slacks, with his hands in his pockets, glowering at the ground. He should just meet the woman he was matched with, say something rude so she'd slap him right away, then he could go home and spend the rest of the evening moping and feeling sorry for himself. Sounded like a plan. He sighed dramatically and started into the garden, keeping an eye out for a bouquet that looked like it might potentially be ambrosia.

Javor had received a mysterious letter! A letter telling him to go to the public garden and find someone with a bouquet of oleander. He wasn't sure why he was receiving such a thing but, really, it sounded quite interesting and he was rather bored. So as the note suggested, he did just that, right after his shift at work. He was a little bewildered, upon his arrival, by the fact that there were other people with bouquets of flowers roaming around. There was a strange booth at the front of the park and...strange. Quite strange. Javor had completely forgotten that he did, in fact, know what was going on. And that he should have been less bewildered by the whole thing. But he just had so much on his mind from his recent move and starting his job and the whole thing had simply slipped his mind. It continued to slip his mind, actually, as he roamed around the garden, stopping before a lovely bed of black beauty roses with extremely large blossoms. How lovely. He really needed to add this variety to his personal garden. They were beautiful. He frowned slightly and leaned forward over the flowers. Oh dear. Some of the petals looked as if something had been eating through them--that was certainly no good. No good at all. There were several otherwise unblemished roses, with unsightly holes in them. Without thinking, Javor trespassed into the flower bed, searching under the nearby leaves. Ah...ha! There. Javor carefully plucked a fat, green caterpillar from one of the thorny stems. This was certainly the culprit--a sawfly larvae. Unlike most caterpillars, this pathetic creature would never become a butterfly, just an ugly sawfly. Pitiful thing, trying to live on mere instinct. Javor dropped the caterpillar on the pavement, watching it squirm for a few seconds, before setting his heel on it firmly and crushing it.

Now Valentines day was a day like no other. A tingle of romance in the air. The fluttering hearts of nervous people waiting for affection. And of course, deep desperation and jealousy for those who didn't have that special someone on a day like this. You had your happy couples and your desperate singles. However, June was neither of those. For the last couple of years June had been part of the less thought about group of unhappy couples. A group he had escaped just recently. What a relief that was. So much so, that the single parent never really thought about getting back into a relationship. So why come to a romantic holiday? Well, for two reasons really. One, some lucky girl got to spend time with him, and June was quite the do-good-er. And two? Well, June had the night off and never really got to take part in an event like this. It seemed like it could be a fun time. Which, was something the artist needed seeing how his rut at work was putting him under a bit of stress. Hell, maybe he would even be inspired by the events of tonight... Probably not. June arrived in a bit of a rush, worried that he had left the house a bit to late. He was dressed in a pair of his nicer jeans (ones not covered in paint) and a gray fitted t-shirt. He wasn't really the type to dress-up, but he did try just a little bit. His hair was a bit messy as always, and his clothes smelled like the paints he was using earlier today. In one hand was a picture of whatever kind of flower a Cyclamen was, and in the other was a small box of chocolate that he had his brother get for him earlier that day. The blonde's eyes darted from the picture in his hand to every person he could see, scanning quickly for his person. It could be possible that she hadn't shown up yet, but there was no way anyone could leave June waiting. And sure enough, he was able to locate the pink flowers he had been searching for. June looked over his date quickly before he went over. She was younger than him, but luckily not some kid. Yet, age differences had began to freak out the almost 30 year old single father. However, that was neither here nor there. "Hey," He approached his date, Umi, with his usual attitude, "It seems like we're a pair tonight."---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Now, speaking of more desperate singles, their was one girl who was looking for a bit more out of this event than a certain blonde adult. Erika had been more than fed up with single life seeing how she has never seemed to ever find a guy who would last more than a couple weeks with her. So, like every year, the blonde woman decided that it was once again time for a new chance with another random guy. However, just like every year, she felt a bit to embarrassed to sign up by herself. Every year she dragged a friend along with her to participate, and this years helper was her little sister's best friend and her long time playmate, Skyla. The two blondes arrived at the event and made their way to the center of everything in order to be found faster. Erika was wearing a short light blue cocktail dress with a blue ribbon tied in her hair. In her hand was a bouquet of Geranium flowers that she had been instructed to bring. Her eyes nervously jumped around from guy to guy, waiting to see what man the goddess would set her up with this year. "I hope he's not some loser," She spoke in a valley-girl kind of way, looking over to Skyla, "I'm tired of the run of the mill guys around here.""Hmm?" Skyla responded after a few moments of silence. Her eyes floated over to Erika who was still checking out the area. "I guess..." She added lethargically as her mouth stretched open letting out a large yawn. Skyla had no real idea why she was here other than vaguely remembering that she filled something out. Erika had told her that they would have fun, but really the small blonde didn't really see much point in this. If she had it her way, she would be lazing on the couch eating potato chips while her brother ran errands for her. She probably should have denied her friend's request. Although, that would require an amount of effort and care that Skyla really couldn't muster. So here she was, wearing a fluff green skirt with a white tank top and light green jacket thrown over it, carrying a bouquet of Camellia flowers that Erika had picked up while she bought her own. And unlike her excited friend, Skyla remained expressionless as memories of her comfy couch made her drift off into a daze.

xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxooxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxox Kenneth looked at the two small pieces of paper he held in his left hand. One was a pastel card that told him to look for a bouquet of Gloxinia. The other was a picture of the flower. He wouldn't remember what they looked like if he didn't look them up and print out the picture. And it wasn't too much trouble to do. The young actor sighed. His gaze wandered down to his clothes instead of looking for the girl with the right flowers. He was wearing a simple button down shirt in his favorite shade of red, which was close to a crimson color, and a pair of black skinny jeans. He even thought about putting in spacers for his piercings like his sister suggested but he loved the them a little too much for that. What was the point of that anyways? He usually only did it if he absolutely had to for work. His nails were still painted black but his fingers weren't decorated with any rings and of course he didn't wear his regular hat today. It felt a little weird not having it on but it wasn't a big deal. Pulling his attention away from what he was wearing, Kenneth decided he should probably look for his date. Taking another look at the picture he had brought with him and comparing it to the bouquet of flowers a girl was holding. The flowers didn't match. "Well, I guess I should check a different area..." He took a few steps before switching the pieces of paper to his right hand and carrying the box of chocolates he had in his left.

xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxooxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxox The small girl arrived at the public garden a little latter then her brother did. All that man had to do was get all clean, put on his clothes, fix his hair, and leave. What did she have to do? Get her make-up on. Just a little bit of mascara and eyeliner. Then she had to fix her hair, put on her stupid dress, find her heels, make sure she smelled like that candy perfume her brother bought her months ago, and get the little card so she would remember camellias were the flowers she was looking for today. Easy enough... But she was happy with her appearance today. She was wearing her black motley dress and had two bows on the right side of her hair. And she was actually excited about her blind date. She was hoping whoever they were they would get along well. Penelope looked around a bit. Seeing her brother every once in awhile and giving him a small wave. She didn't think he saw half of them but she still did it. Her red eyes looked down to her dress. Making sure that she didn't have to fix it or anything. Maybe she should have worn something else? She didn't know. Then combing her fingers through her hair she wondered if she should have done something else with it. Like curling it or pulling it up. The girl started to walk back to where she had saw her brother last. Hoping he was still there. She did try to look for anyone with a bouquet of camellias on her way there but she just didn't see any yet. She let out a little huff. There were so many people here with flowers. It might take her a while before she found her date. Penelope still hoped to find her brother first. She really wanted his input on her outfit before her date saw her.

Umi was a little relieved when the person who approached her ( June) was reasonably attractive and, above all, looked normal. He was not that tall (that was one strike against him), but otherwise, he looked decent. And she was glad, at least, that he wasn't over dressed because she wasn't really that dressed up either and it would be awkward if he was wearing something fancy. She'd barely had time to sit on the bench before being approached, but Umi still popped right back up the moment he said hello--not only out of politeness but also because it was awkward to speak to someone while looking up at them. When she stood, she realized just how short her date actually was. Her heels weren't even that high but they put the two of them at nearly the same height. Umi wasn't really one to judge solely on the basis of height or anything, because he could still be a fabulous guy regardless. But she did kind of prefer tall men. Ah well. At least she was meeting someone! Height didn't matter for just friendship or casual dating and, well, she was willing to overlook a small physical thing like that if he was a nice guy. He looked nice? She hoped... "Hello! It's good to meet you. I'm Umi," she said, holding out her hand to the man, who had failed to introduce himself. "It is good you were able to find me--I was a little worried that with only the bouquet it would difficult." She grimaced inwardly at just how strong her accent was. She'd been working on her English like mad, trying to tone down the French but, at least to her ears, those screechy 'i' sounds, heavy 'r's and mutilated 'th's were still painfully obvious. She was going to have to keep working at it--the last one was particularly difficult. It's not that it really mattered all that much. She doubted people would be bothered by it all that much, but she worried, a little, that people at work would have trouble understanding her. Well, maybe tonight would be good practice. She would just listen to her date and keep trying to mimic his pronunciations. Then, at least, if the date was a bust, she'd still get something useful out of it.

Jian didn't care about dating. Unlike many other sixteen year old boys, he didn't have much interest in girls or boys or whatever... At least, not enough to make much of an effort towards it. Sure, he was certain that one day he'd meet a nice something and be gross about it for a while, maybe even spawning a couple of offspring in the process, but he was perfectly content letting that future come to him. So it should come to no surprise that entering the blind date service was not his first or second or even third choice. He would have rather stayed home and read or gone exploring the forest or something, but above all that, he was a twin, and twins had obligations. It just so happened that one of those obligations was tagging along on blind dates so that he could make sure that his twin sister didn't get kidnapped or taken advantage of. Maybe he could have done that without the date thing, but one thing led to another, and... well, here he was, standing out of the way at the garden, keeping an uninterested eye open in Chun Fei's direction, pausing only to periodically sweep the garden in search of someone holding a fern.
ヱヱヱ
Standing well within her twin's sight was Chun Fei, staring nervously at her feet. Anyone who was at least mildly acquainted with the youngest Li probably would have been surprised to see her present at Valentine's Day, clutching a bouquet of Ambrosia to her chest. She was dressed nicely, in a lacy white dress and with a white ribbon-y headband, and combined with the timid expression on her face, she didn't seem like the date type at all! But there she was, though she wasn't entirely sure why. Maybe it was an experiment. Maybe she was just curious. But even though the clothes were all designed to help dissuade suspicions, she'd be lying if she said she wasn't a little bit anxious. What if she ended up with some old guy? The thought made her tense. Her tears probably wouldn't even be fake if that happened.
ヱヱヱ
Peter entered the garden without much thought towards himself or even what his date would be like. He had been doing this since his teens, and while it had been a good way to gain acquaintances, he had learned not to expect much from it. He signed up because it was tradition by now, and he had also been feeling lonely with Wilhelm away. Not that he was trying to replace Will! But a guy got stircrazy sometimes. Of course, he wasn't thinking about any of this, when he came shuffling in, gripping a bouquet of tired looking Bittersweet in one hand. No, he was focused on his sister, though he wasn't going to make it explicit. He watched her out of the corner of his eye, resisting the urge to fret. She was just a kid, newly out of high school, he wasn't sure he was comfortable with her experimenting with adulthood... Quickly, Peter checked his phone before returning it to his pocket, and then returned to mentally assuring himself that Erika was there, nothing bad was going to happen...
ヱヱヱ
Anxiety was becoming a common trend in Yuri Allen's life. On one hand, she was resolved to get out of her funk, resume a normal life of a recently-divorced thirty-something. On the other hand, this was her first Valentine's Day since the separation, and the thought of that was enough to make her want to spend the day in the basement crying over old photos. But after that embarrassing disaster that was Beach Day, she was even more determined to get on that horse... At least to demonstrate that she could. And so, she washed and brushed her hair, even clipped one side of it back out of her face, which was a mini breakthrough for her. She put on makeup and nice clothes, the nicest she had that were clean (it had been some time since she last did laundry), and even some jewelry and she looked presentable. That would have been enough to put her in an excellent mood any other time in her life, but for now, she was much too anxious that her date would be able to tell that she was unwanted to be proud of this accomplishment of hers.
She walked briskly into the garden, focusing on the click clack of her heels on the pavement, passing Erika and keeping her gaze firmly down, hoping the young woman wouldn't notice her. She held a bouquet of Orchids in both hands. Eventually she came to a stop and glanced around. Yuri was alone, facing the big scary unknown, and she could almost taste the anxiety. Maybe it was too soon. Maybe she wasn't ready.
ヱヱヱ
Valentine's Day... Now this was Garland's kind of holiday. Not that he had ever really had any success with Valentine's Day! Once, in the 8th grade, he had left a secret admirer's note for Alea Selburn on her desk, but she thought it was from that jerk Alex Willis and went out with him instead. Sure, they only lasted a week, but it hurt. BUT THAT WAS IRRELEVANT. Garland was sure he was gonna turn it around, so he came into the blind date event with only the absolutely highest expectations, hopes, and dreams. He had a goofy grin on his face as he brushed his curly bangs out of his eyes. Soon, he'd meet his dream girl, he just had to locate whatever Narcissus were!

Xeiro was trying to get himself back on the market. The fact of the matter was that he wasn't getting much younger, and he needed an excuse to follow Lyra down to the garden anyway. He wanted to make sure that he could get a good read on the guy before he allowed his lovely daughter to go on a date with him. She may be an "adult" now, but she still lived with her daddy, so he still got a say. Right now, he was clutching a bouquet of Oleander in his hand. It had been awhile since he went to a Valentine's Day festival, but he always remembered the girls bringing the bouquets. Maybe they had decided to change it up a little, he didn't mind going and finding the flowers. The lady at the flower shop had been very helpful and he actually thought the flowers were quite nice. He could hardly wait to hand them over to the lovely lady that finds him and then, after he saw who Lyra was with, they could start their lovely date.
________________________________________
Lyra was overjoyed! It wasn't very often when she got to go on wonderfully blind dates and not have to feel all too concerned about who she was going to be matched with. She was sure that Zhi was doing everything it took to make sure that all of these people were normal people with no backgrounds that she should be wary of. Because of this, she was even willing to go with her father. She wasn't going to let anything get her down. That morning they had stopped on their way around town and found a bouquet of Candy Tufts. Her father had thrown a bit of a fit when he saw that she also needed to purchase a bouquet, assuming that she had been matched up with a woman. Whatever happened was bound to happen, she knew she was young and she was just ready to live some life and meet some new people. It didn't matter what their gender was to her, she just wanted some fun. She stood a few feet away from her father and waited for her lovely match to come and find her, oh the thrill was just so intense!
________________________________________
Lunesca wasn't all too sure how ready she was, but she was holding on tightly to a bouquet of Rose Moss. Her brother had played a major role in convincing her to come to this festival. Even though they had been there for the better part of a year, she didn't much care to do anything besides work and the bar and she wasn't much into socializing at either of those places. "You owe me big time." She scowled back to her brother, a few steps ahead of him. She stopped when she finally found a spot that she thought was far enough away from people to be noticeable from all angles. This was the best way to get her date to find her, she thought. Date the thought made her skin crawl. She wasn't very much looking for someone to ship her heart off to; she was more ready for someone who wouldn't mind helping her with some practice training. If she could find someone like that, she'd be so set. But, she had yet to see anyone all too great in this town yet. Even looking around the groups now, she didn't see much that was as spectacular as she was. Nonetheless, she swallowed a majority of her pride and forced a small smile. She was waiting for her death date.
________________________________________
Ezekiel was very glad that he was getting a chance to do something with her sister that didn't revolve around their home or the bar. She was so different from him, he wanted nothing more than to be out with all of the residents, perhaps showing off some new magic tricks or even just getting to know them. People were the key to good business and good life; they held everything together. That's why he knew that it was a wonderful decision to meet some new people, even for his sister. Maybe she'd be able to come out of her shell a little with the right kind of touch. "Yeah, yeah. We'll see what you're saying later." He rolled his eyes in an overly dramatic fashion and continued his looking around. Not only was he very excited to see so many people, but he was particularly scoping out a bouquet of Stephanotis. His date was said to carry the lovely flower, and he had done a little bit of research and couldn't yet find it. Hopefully his one chance at a new friend hadn't bailed on him! Worst case scenario he could just implant himself on Luna's date. He almost didn't even care. He was just happy to be out and about! He placed his arm lovingly across his sister's shoulder and gave her a gentle squeeze, "We're going to have so much fun today! I promise!"

It was early morning that Ed had been standing outside of the library, puffing on his cigarette and observing the pretty much empty streets contently when a strange woman had bounded up to him. She had given him a brief explanation about an event in town, how she absolutely needed a stand-in, and she was married. He didn't understand the connection at the time, not that Mrs. Zhi Park had given him time to really comprehend before thrusting a card with directions to the town square and to find roses. A Bouquet of full-bloomed Roses being held by a 'date'. Usually, Ed would have just thrown the card away and not bothered showing up, but clever Zhi had mysteriously locked him out of his library. Really, he couldn't figure out how she had managed that one and he arrived at the town square with the purpose of finding it out.
He marched straight to the table set up and went to stare at the woman behind it, to which she happily ignored him in favor of counting heads and making sure the event went smoothly. From there, it was a test of stubbornness and, as anyone who knew a lick about either, they would find that this stare down was going to go on for a very long time.
Ah, Valentines! Brian was all smiles as he walked into the square, casting eyes about to see if he could recognize anyone that was there. He didn't see Asa or anything, but, then, he hadn't see much of Asa anyway! Which was weird since they hanged out a lot, but the kid did get some random periods of loner-ness, so he guessed it wasn't a big deal. Besides, Asa probably had someone to spent Valentine's day with, unlike Brian who had been single ever since he stepped foot onto the island. But that was about to change! Brian enjoyed being with someone and this seemed his best bet to find that someone – the lady running the event had said so! And if those photos of happily married couples meant anything, then she couldn't have been lying – not that he was thinking marriage or anything. Just someone around his age to hang out with.
He stopped in the dead center of the square, looking from teenager to teenager in curiosity as he held the little bundle of white Stephanotis up so anyone could see what he had. There was Chun Fei, but she seemed to be waiting for someone too, which was a shame because she was pretty cute – ah, but so was her twin! Jian, even if he was sorta nerdy, and he looked to be searching for something. He lifted the flowers higher and smiled in the boy's direction, silently asking if he was what the other was looking for. Maybe? If not, then.. he really didn't know who. There didn't seem to be any others his age looking for flowers, after all.
Fun, fun, fun~! Sani was having so much fun and he wasn't afraid to tell everyone – in fact! When Da had looked away for just a moment, he was taking off down the street straight into Town Square with a shrill giggle. It was unknown how the toddler had managed to get put into the matchmaking event – maybe he had finally managed to make his scribbles look somewhat like a name or perhaps Zhi had needed one more person and accidentally put Sani's name down rather than his more suitable and just as single father, but he didn't even think to think of any of that!
All he knew was that they were going out to do something and were probably going to be going some place fun like the slide or maybe Da would push him on the swing or maybe, maybe, he would be able to find something good to chew or one of those super fun flippy things that made everyone squeal! But, first thing was first, Sani was lost and he suddenly realized his Da had totally abandoned him never to return. He burst into tears and started to wail and scream and thrash his arms because why wasn't he here yet, he was supposed to be here with him, and Sani was going to starve and die and no one would push him on the swing and his life was OVER.

Sethrian had taken to wandering around trying to look non-chalant, trying to look like much less a loser than he actually felt, and trying to convince himself not to go home and bury himself into some sort of cooking project to get his mind off things. He finally managed to see someone that had what looked like a bouquet of ambrosia. But...the moment he saw her, his stomach dropped to the floor. A kid? That shitty match making service had set him up with a kid?? Because the girl standing there with her white dress and headband did not look a day over sixteen and Sethrian was no where near desperate enough for affection to date a child. (Plus, he wasn't interested in getting arrested.) Part of him wanted to just leave--flee the garden, go home and hide in shame and resentment. He should have known this was a bad idea and that his date would fail miserably. When had he ever been on a successful date anyway? Never. That's when. Unfortunately, the little girl was standing there looking like she was about to cry or something, and who knows what kind of weirdos were lurking this place, waiting to prey on some unsuspecting kid. Sethrian let out a long suffering sigh, imagined the girl was just one of his younger cousins, and approached her (Chun Fei) cautiously. "Ah...hello," he said cautiously. "Are you lost? Should I help you find a parent?" Ugh....good lord. He sounded like some kind of *****.
