Cyrus had not been overly amused about leaving the girls alone with Nisha, but he had offered to show his lord around the old city and he did not want her trailing after them. The woman was poisonous as far as he was concerned. Leading the way up the cracked steps, his footsteps scraped and echoed against the walls as they approached the empty shell of a building.
"As I said, I have only just begun sorting your temple out now that the Rose Garden has been stabilized. I had hoped to have it back as it was before you returned," he admitted as he glanced back at Industry and carefully pushed the wobbly door aside to allow him unheeded entrance.

"Well, one pair of hands hardly makes for efficient work." Isambard smirked as he looked up at the large cathedral like building that had once been his home and seat of power. Now it was nothing but a shell.
He stepped through the entrance and looked around the main hall, it had once been tiled with colourful tiles expertly crafted, the walls carved stone now it was worn, grimy and covered with weeds and plants. He sighed a little.
"Well, it's not too bad I suppose." he said softly.

Cyrus followed after him and paused behind him to look around the once familiar hall.
"It is still standing, which is more than some of the buildings out there," he stated with a small smile. "With properly motivated people, it could be restored in no time at all."

"Yes this is very true and there is a whole host of people that would be skilled enough back at the Pantheon. Though this will not be the first thing I restore. We need to get the infrastructure up and running, the trains, water, sewers, housing, entice people to come here and work."

Cyrus listened to him closely and glanced around once more. Of course his words made sense. Hadn't he done the same but on a much, much smaller scale.
"Do you have someone in mind to begin such things?" he asked with honest curiosity.

isambard nodded.
"I do, there is a group of skilled workers back at the Pantheon, once they have built themselves a town they will be looking fora bigger challenge. What greater challenge could there be for a skilled worker than rebuilding a magnificent city such as Albion?"

Cyrus smiled at the thought of that. He hoped that they would be able to see the city for what it had once been and what it could be once more.
"Do you think there is anyone left that still remembers Albion?" he asked, turning his eyes to his lord. He didn't intend for it to be a rude question. He was honestly not sure of how long the passage of time had been since he had left the city to search for his lord and the memories of mortals were such fragile things.

"I am not sure how long I was out of action." Isambard admitted to his faithful bodyguard. "There might be those who remember, perhaps the gods? Aoide? I doubt many mortals do, looking at things it seems it has been abandoned for a long time. There is no sign of advanced technology anywhere." He smiled at that thought, glad that his industry had not been tarnished by all of that nano technology and other such faff. "You haven't been here since the fall?"

Cyrus lowered his eyes and shook his head.
"No my lord. I left to search for you. I searched every possible place I could get to. It took me many years before I decided to backtrack and start at the beginning again."

"You are loyal, and this is why I trust you above all others Cyrus." Isambard said, he was actually quite touched the large man had searched so hard for him. "I do not know what happened, what I do know is that I was in the clutches of greed. She transferred me to my host."

Cyrus looked up at that revelation. Greed?
"Did she explain to you how you ended up in her hands?" he asked, mentally kicking himself slightly. All this time he had been searching and perhaps he had passed by him a hundred times. He never would have thought to pay much attention to anything as simple as a stone.

Isambard shook his head.
"She did not seem to know who I was." He raised Ifan's hand and looked at the ruby gem. "no doubt she saw something shiney and got a surprise when she felt the mana within. or perhaps she was charged to deliver it to a suitable host." he smirked a little and shrugged a shoulder. "Perhaps I shall ask her should our paths cross again."

Cy's lips twitched a little in a small smile and he looked down at the ruby in the boy's palm.
"And this host is suitable?" he asked, looking up at the unfamiliar young man's face. It was easy for him to ignore the new features and picture his lord in their place, though he supposed he should get accustomed to his appearance now.

"Yes, he is an engineer and he appreciates our efforts. it is a bonus, I have been led to beleive there are others who are not quite so suitable."

Cyrus looked the boy over for a moment, then smirked and nodded.
"He suits you," he declared as if his opinion had any merit in the matter. "Do you wish to see more of your temple or should we move on?"
