Buck's Owner's Name: Strawberri Stardust Buck's Name: Quench the Fire 3 Personality Adjectives: Patient, Prankster, Persistent
Doe's Owner's Name: Ruriska Doe's Name: Smother 3 Personality Adjectives: who? [inquisitive] what? [meddlesome] why? [insightful] Our most epic prank was...
A vine dangled down conspicuously in the middle of the path. It had been there for some time.
A Kiokote had stopped and was staring at it curiously, trying to decide if was of any importance before he moved on.
Before he could disappear an Acha doe wriggled out her hiding spot nearby, "Don’t touch it!" she cried out in warning.
An Acha buck, almost indistinguishable from the doe, followed her out with a sigh, "Don't listen to her. It’s perfectly safe."
"Oh no it is not. It's highly unstable."
"Give it a tug."
"Oh don't do it! Step back instead!"
"It’s only a vine. It won't hurt you." The buck encouraged with a smile.
"You'll die." The doe hissed with an over-dramatic widening of her eyes.
The Kiokote, confused and really just wanting to get away from the two, stepped around the vine and hurried along down the path. Or that was the intent. Three strides in and branches snapped beneath his weight, sending him straight down in a tumble of dirt, sticks and leaves.
"Oops." The doe said brightly as she appeared into the shallow hole. "Should have gone back."
The buck moved to her side. "Should have tugged on the vine."
"I guess neither of us looks as trustworthy as we first thought."
"We'll try again next time."

Buck's Owner's Name: Patmos of Endtimes Buck's Name: Too Clever 3 Personality Adjectives: Haughty, Precocious, and Reliant Doe's Owner's Name: Annora Lyrisa Doe's Name: By Half 3 Personality Adjectives: Bold, Impish, and Insouciant Our most epic prank was...Too Clever crouched behind some bushes, staring through the leaves at their sleeping target, Light Holds Sway. It was a perfect prank; a broad leaf propped up around the doe to form a bowl, using sticks to hold it up. Each stick had been carefully positioned so that the ground end was in an easily jostled place, like behind hooves or her back. Inside the leaf was lots of blackberry juice, carefully squished and collected, then painstakingly poured in with small turtle shells, a little at a time. On top of all that, they'd had to do it all silently. By Half leaned against her brother slightly as she, too, peered through the leaves. Her eyes were bright with glee at their plans, and her tail flicked impatiently behind her. "How long is she going to sleep?" she finally muttered, just loud enough for Too Clever to hear, and leaned against him more forcefully just for a moment, a slight nudge for his attention. He put his weight on her too. "We could wake her ourselves," he muttered. His flanks shivered with nervous anticipation, still not entirely sure this doe was the right target, but his sister's opinion mattered a lot to him, and she was insistent on this. Half brightened at the thought of a more active result. "You want to?" she asked, clearly anxious to herself. She was practically dancing at the thought, she was quivering so. He poked out his head, and immitated a birdcall, loud and insistent as the morning songs, while Half brightened even more. "Again!" she murmured, nosing at his neck. "Do it again!" He whistled again, watching closely. Light jerked awake, blinking a moment before looking around. As she did, one antler caught a pole, weakening its position. "You did it," Half crowed softly, leaning close to Clever. "Perfect!" He laughed under his breath, eyes wide. He sucked in his breath and held it, tense with anticipation. A second later, their prank hit pay dirt. Light stumbled to her hooves, disoriented by the abrupt waking and the change of poles around her, and one caught, slipping away from the leaf. Within moments, berry juice had descended, pouring over her in a large splatter that left most of her back and hair drenched... and dark. "What?!" she yelped, startled. Half shivered sharply with suppressed laughter. "It worked!" she beamed. "Look at that! She was perfect for this!" Clever stifled his giggles, practically rolling on the ground. "And such a fetching color," he hissed. His sister nodded. "Better than the original," Half cheered, forgetting to lower her voice. She danced on light hooves in excitement. "Who's there?!" Light spluttered sharply, stumbling toward their hiding place. Clever yipped and nudged Half, taking off through the underbrush. Half followed suit, chasing her brother's tail to leave Light standing behind them, aware only of the vanishing gleam of gold hair at their tail-tips.

Buck's Owner's Name: Pales Buck's Name: Toil 3 Personality Adjectives: creative, hardworking, playful
Doe's Owner's Name: iloveyouDIE Doe's Name: Trouble 3 Personality Adjectives: conniving, charming, dramatic
Our most epic prank was...
Toil had no issue causing mischief, Especially if someone did a misstep. The chosen target had wronged his twin, He would show them that they’d never win.
Trouble was pretty, but rebuffed simple prattle. She had tolerance for the clever, not simple rabble. Wounded pride from a buck who tricked her to fall, but she and her brother would would right things after all.
Carefully he laid down the plot to Trouble, Then he went to work on the double. The buck laid down a nice heap of food, All covering the scent of something quite rude.
Toil designed it, a joke of their own Trouble's innocence and acting would lead the prank home. A batting of lashes, the promise of a gift Her foe followed cluelessly to the twin's naughty trick
Toil waited in the brush for them to arrive, He had faith in his Sister’s ability to connive. The buck ducked his head down low, All just so he could watch the start of the show.
The fruit was so tantalizing, plump in the sun Little did he know he was the object of their fun. Their victim dug into the berries of red and blue Only to find himself with a mouth full of poo.
He spat as she laughed, her voice ringing out. Her brother then joined to poke fun at the lout. The twins were a team, a devilish combination. Toil and Trouble... and their tricky machinations.

Buck's Owner's Name: iHibari Kyoya Buck's Name: Dune Lizard 3 Personality Adjectives: Twisted, Kind, Calm
Doe's Owner's Name: FrostyPeaches Doe's Name: Sand Fox 3 Personality Adjectives: Adventurous, Eccentric, Generous
Our most epic prank was...
"Well it all started..." "When I had a little accident~" "Which turned into a brilliant idea" "It wasn't that great" "Oh it was wonderful~" "Oh you flatter me brother~" Their interchanging speech felt confusing, but it made sense somehow.
The pair before you, identical save the brother's horns, were smiling and speaking. "Such a wonderful prank." "The simplest are the best at times." "And the most fun sister!" They laughed together. "You see, it'd just finished raining-" "And we were stepping through the swamp, simply that." "Fascinating place really, Fox didn't even see that puddle." "What a doozey it was!" They laughed together, the brother smiling just a bit too sweetly, the female gaining a rather... discomforting look.
"Big brother Lizard had to use a branch to pull me out." She tossed the bit of mane out of her face. "Such a good brother he is~" "Oh thank you sister, you're wonderful as well!" "You do love to flatter don't you?" They sighed. Lizard looked to you again.
"Anyway, she'd fallen in and I fished her out, and once out of the puddle she said-" "Oh brother dear I have the most interesting idea~" "And I simply had to know, so I asked what it was." "And I had to say a little bit of a prank! I was moving about and testing around just so it would work properly." "Oh and how proper it worked!" "And it was just the perfect little area!" "All we needed was the-" "Subject!" "Yes, the subject for our little prank."
"He was near too! Just passing by, didn't know a thing!" Fox giggled a bit. "So cute too~" "Don't get distracted dear sister." "Oh, right! Yes. We pranced up-" "Happy as can be!" "And asked if he liked puddles!" " 'Puddles?' Oh he looked so confused! It was precious." "And we said 'Yes! You see we're simply the best at puddle hopping-' " "Hopping puddles-" "Making splashes~" " 'And we' " " 'Dune Lizard and I-' " " 'Want to challenge you to a competition!' " " 'Of splashing!' " " 'Biggest splash wins~' "
"Now the one Sand Fox fell into was quite deep." "Oh very." "And muddy." "So very muddy." "But surrounded by shallow ones." "So there was our stage." "Once he agreed." "And he did." "We began." They tapped hooves, chuckling a bit louder.
"We each made a splash." "And then so did he." "A great big one." "Hooves first." "Right into the middle of the puddle!" "He was positively drenched!" "I just had to declare him the winner." " 'It seems you've made the biggest splash.' " "But then again so did we." Lizard finished off, standing up. "And, now we must go." "Must we?" "Of course! Our day can't be productive if we stay and tell stories!" "Oh, of course." "Shall we?" He motioned with a hoof, his sister dipped her head. "We shall~" As they walked off, their heads turned. "Farewell~ We may meet again." They then lept through a bush, whispering to each other as they went.

Buck's Owner's Name: Cricket2008 Buck's Name: Dust-up 3 Personality Adjectives: Loyal, Adventurous, Clever
Doe's Owner's Name: elvyralani Doe's Name: Scuffle 3 Personality Adjectives: Carefree, Curious, Persistent
Our most epic prank was...
Dust-up and Scuffle casually strolled within earshot of Rain-Cloud, but pretended not to see him. Rain-Cloud was well known for his collection of unique pets. He was always looking for more.
"It was a one-horned Jackalope," said Dust-up, using a voice full of awe. "I'd never seen one before."
"Wow, that's amazing!" said Scuffle, acting excited about her twin’s discovery.
Overhearing their conversation, Rain-Cloud stepped into their path, asking "What did you see?"
"A one-horned Jackalope," Dust-up replied excitedly. "Can you imagine?"
"Where did you see it?" asked Rain-Cloud. "Jackalopes are very rare. I don't even have one. A single-horned one is a special find indeed."
"I saw it by the small pond where the bunny trails cross,” replied Dust-up. "It was just a little while ago."
"I have an idea," said Scuffle. "Why don't you go wait by the bunny trail. Dust-up and I will go get some food to help you catch it."
"Wonderful idea!" said Rain-Cloud. "I'll meet you there.”
Dust-up and Scuffle watched Rain-Cloud trot off into the brush. When the buck was out of earshot, Dust-up whispered, “He'll be out there waiting all night."
Scuffle giggled as the twins walked in the opposite direction with no intention of coming back with Jackalope bait.

Buck's Owner's Name: Blinded By Silence Buck's Name: Great Minds 3 Personality Adjectives: Desultory | Silver-Tongued | Competitive
Doe's Owner's Name: SilverShieldwolf Doe's Name: Think Alike 3 Personality Adjectives: Restless | Stimulating | Distracted
Our most epic prank was... The sun had long since sunk beyond the the reach of the grasping trees and it was due time for Solemnly Swear to meet up with his matching brother. It just so happens that, on his walk home, this twin came across another matching set, and a set he knew at that. Great Minds and Think Alike, a matching pair of Acha who also lived in the area, were young and energetic, almost annoyingly so. But they had a sense of humor that he could relate to, and, if it wasn't for the fact that they shared the attention span of a dead fish, he and his twin would have taken them underwing and made great pranksters out of them. For now, however, he and his brother passively kept an eye on, and out for, them.
And so, there he was, on his way home, and there they were, blocking his way, gazing up at him with mischievous matching grins.
"Hi, Solemn." They said, speaking simultaneously, "Where are you heading?" Spoke Clever, with his sister responding in kind and without hesitation, "Heading home, perhaps?"
Their troubling grin grew as the spoke and excitement flickered in their eyes; The ginger buck raised an eye brow. "And if I am?"
"Well, that's too bad." One said, "Oh yes, you see--", "There's no way past," Spoke the other, "Well, except past us."
Solemn rolled his eyes and stepped to the left, only to have Clever step before him. He turned right, and there was Wit, baring off the other path.
"There are only two paths," He said, "You know that." Said she, "But there's something dangerous down one of the two." "If you play our game, we'll tell you what to watch out for." "Honest--" " --Promise."
The be-freckled bucked sighed but couldn't help but grin, "A game you say? Alright, what are the rules?"
The twins erupted in laughter and bounced in place, excited to test out this new game, especially with someone they liked. Suddenly, a moment later, they became silent, and thus the game began, simultaneously, their voices presented him with the riddle.
"One of us will tell you true." "One will always lie." "Just one question is your due." "And only one reply." "One right answer will get you through." "Which path will you try?"
Solemn eyed the two warily, was this it? The answer wasn't even difficult. He thought they had been far more clever than that... Oh well, he thought, best humor them so I can get back, right? He stepped forward, up to the doe.
"This is my question: Will he tell me that this path here will lead me safely home?"
The twins blinked back at him blankly, then, after a moment, she gave their one reply; "Yes."
Solemn rained his head and grinned victoriously, "Then that means that the other path is safe and this one will lead me into trouble."
Their eyes widened, "How do you know? He could be telling the truth!" She said.
"Ah, but then you wouldn't be, which means the answer is no."
"And if she was lying?"
"Then you would be telling the truth. Either way, I take this path." And so he stepped past her brother and made his way into the dark swamp, calling over his shoulder, "Really guys, try harder next ti--"
With the cracking of a branch beneath his hooves and the sickening squelch of mud, and lots of it, Solemn's night became suddenly darker as he fell head first into a slippery embankment into a deep mud pocket.
Dripping, he sat up and sighed, as the cackling of the two trouble makers above him echoed through the swamp.
"That was perfect!" Cried one, "Wonderful!" Shouted the other, "And the vine trap on the other path?" "What about it?" "Leave it for someone to stumble upon?" "Well, obviously!"
Soon the laughing voices died away as the twins walked themselves home and all Solemn could hear was the croaking of the toads that shared his mud hole. Perhaps those kids earned more credit than he gave them? Or maybe they were too far gone for him an his brother to teach? Either way, he was already planning payback as he shook as much mud from his hooves as he could and started his way home.

Quote: Buck's Owner's Name: Kiwi Squirt Bottle Buck's Name: The Best Prize 3 Personality Adjectives: Impish, affable, gregarious Doe's Owner's Name: LOLLI qAq Doe's Name: Is A Surprise 3 Personality Adjectives: Playful, flighty, exuberant Our most epic prank was... It's easy to win at tag, when you have the right opponent. Come With Me was never terribly fond of playing with Acha, predisposed as they were to being flighty. However, when playing tag, that was always the point. The golden flecked haunches sped past him, the light frame having a slight advantage to the kimeti's thicker bulk. The tip of a tail touched his shoulder while his opponent laughed. "You're it!" Prize cried and promptly spun away. "No fair...!" Come With Me took off after him, listening for telltale sounds in the bush. "Over here!" his oponent called out, somewhere behind and off to his left. Damn, acha were fast; the black and white kimeti could have sworn he went the other direction. He spied the new location, watching Prize disappear. Prize, however, was in the oposite direction, holding still and trying to surpress a giggle. It was fun playing when your playmate didn't know you were a twin. For sure, Prize and Surprise would win. The silly Kimeti was off chasing his sister. Giving a few heartbeats, Prize popped his head up, closer to where Surprise was supposed to be, but far enough to be frustrating. "Can't you go faster, old man?" Surprise ducked behind a tree and choked on a laugh. Prize's circluar horns, the ONLY difference between them, were hard to make out. Poor Come With Me had no idea what he was in for. Come With Me was starting to get tired and his movements lagged the more exhausted he felt. Pausing next to a particularly large clump of bushes he took a deep breath and tried to get a grasp on his surroundings. That was when he heard it. The thrumming of hooves. A flash of gold and brown whizzed past him with a laugh. First his right. Then his left. The more the acha male ran past him the more and more he could swear the damn buck was on both sides at once; but that wasn't possible. Before he had a chance to really think about it, however, Prize darted away. The poor sap, Come With Me, still having no idea that there were two of them. Nor that the lone acha running about him was his original playmate's twin sister. Suddenly the running stopped. Come With Me blinked. The acha looking at him was ... female? Surely he'd started the game with a buck, though. A kiss on the cheek only served to confuse him more, something that made the doe laugh. "Thanks for the game, old man!" With a wink, the doe turned and danced her way into the sunset. Never to be seen by the VERY confused buck again.

Buck's Owner's Name: hanging gallow Buck's Name: Sweet Escape 3 Personality Adjectives: charming, conniving, deceitful
Doe's Owner's Name: musicaloner7 Doe's Name: Smoke Cloud 3 Personality Adjectives: witty, graceful, playful
Our most epic prank was...
It'd been a most excellent prank, a wonderful one indeed. Our stomachs had been cramped for quite some time afterwards with all the giggling and laughter to be had, our cheeks stinging from being pulled back into wide grins. Perhaps it was 'too far' some might say, oh but it was just too rich to pass up!
Enjoying one anothers company as they typically did, the 'darling' twins Smoke Cloud and Sweet Escape had been merely wandering aimlessly on a rather warm, clear day. The two engaged in hardy conversation that bounced back and forth with little to no breaks in between, giggles here and chuckles there. The golden hooves that ticked along the ground kept in sync, never missing a beat with one another, fluffy golden tails flicking and swaying at tempo too. One might think they were seeing a mirage what with the two identical, dapper siblings that strode shoulder to shoulder, unable to see the other by looking at either side. However on their leisurely stroll, the two did take to stopping eventually...
For their brilliant emerald green gazes landed upon a curious individual... an acha like themselves who had quite the interesting trinkets lined along him. He was a rather pretty looking thing, in various warm colours of pinks, reds, and oranges, and even more brighter yellow markings that looked to be waves. But what caught the devious couples eyes were the trinkets attached to those straight and curved horns, as well as a string of them racing along his back to tail tip! nothing even needed to be said. Simply a look, and both male and female twin casually parted from each others sides.
They sauntered with great poise and ease, Smoke Cloud taking her place to standing beside this stranger, as if it were no big deal at all. Of course this caused the unknown gent to jump a little in surprise to the females sudden appearance! But Smoke kept up a sweet demeanor, smile peeled along her lips, lashes batting softly, "Ohmy~ what lovely decor you have, sir~" she cooed ever so kindly. With just those few, and more to follow, she'd hooked their prey, and had him fully engaged with just her... It was then, when he was practically leaning closer to taste her sweet words, that the doe gasped, and distracted him further by pretending something was off in the distance! on the other side! Quickly the buck whipped his head to see, making her eyes narrow and smile spread wide as she nipped off some of the trinkets and flowers he had strewn on him, and made a fast dash away! they looked valuable, and rare! the buck had felt the sensation of his precious heirlooms leaving his body, and snapped his head back to look at the culprit with shock!
But instead... there was Sweet Escape. Unfortunately, since the two twins had only a set of horns separating their differences in appearance, the poor flustered buck was completely confused about what had just happened. His eyes flickered from the missing pieces, to the other buck, demanding an explanation. But Sweet just gave a charming smile, and cant of his head to feign confusion, while his darling sister made a safe get away. It was then that Sweet was able to convince the poor male that he was crazy! perhaps overheated, or stressed, maybe not enough sleep. Speechless, and unsure what to do, the buck just stood there, mouth agape, opening and closing a few times as if trying to find words... but failing. Pleasantly amused, Sweet bid the poor fellow a good day, and trotted of on his way to follow back to his sister and their loot.

Buck's Owner's Name: thyPOPE Buck's Name: Whorl 3 Personality Adjectives: Meddlesome, Confident, Overdramatic
Doe's Owner's Name: Minsuil Doe's Name: Whirl 3 Personality Adjectives: Wry, Loquacious, Mischievous
Our most epic prank was... Whirl danced nervously on her feet; she looked back at her brother. The mud was up to his shoulders now.
"Are you--"
"Okay?” Her brother seemed to deliberate. “Yes. I'm quite fine at the moment, but--"
"Not for long." She finished for him and returned to her fretting.
Her mind told her that she needed to go find someone, but she could not bear to leave her brother. Caught between two opposing ideas, she fretted and walked circles around the pool of mud. But just when the problem seemed to be unsolvable, the solution walked through the bushes.
Their brother had barely set eyes on his siblings before she was upon him.
"Please, oh please, you have to help! You see, Whorl's gotten stuck and I can't pull him out."
Brother dearest and sibling stood at the edges of the mud pool staring back at Whorl. Though previously nervous, Whirl caught the mischievous glint in her twin's eye and knew exactly what he was planning. How funny it would be for Refined Sensibilities' great white tail and his white ankles to be coated in mud!
There was no nervous dancing for Whorl, as sunken as he was. But it was lucky, Whorl thought, that his twin knew him so well. He jerked his head about in a motion that quite clearly had the aim of reaching his sister. But it was not for him to get any closer right now: oh, no. “It's her tail; it can't reach. You know the trouble! But --” he began, and, as always, she finished.
“--yours is longer, right? You must help!” They turned identical pleading gazes on their brother.
The mud was actually thicker than Whorl had expected, but the little section of bog he'd selected had relatively firm ground underneath. He kicked at the root beneath him, though, and seemed to slip just a bit farther away. “O-oh, I can't --” The orange acha's shoulder's occasionally rose above the water, mud dark: clearly the picture of struggle.
It didn’t erase the doubt clouding Refined Sensiblities’ otherwise orange eyes, though Whirl’s hooves beat more frantically on the ground for it. It certainly looked an ordeal. Whorl could hardly stand it himself, and he was in the predicament.
“I don’t know that even my tail can reach…” Refined Sensibilities said at last. “If you were closer…” “But I can’t – it’s mud! I can hardly –“
“Move! Just look at him, brother dear. It’s so much thicker than – “
“It’s rising!” Whorl said, giving a shout of surprise and splashing at the mud with his chin. “What if I–“
“Drown?” Whirl inched just a bit closer, peering over at the sibling that resembled her most. “That’s my brother!”
“He’s mine, too,” was Refined Sensibilities’ rather stiff reply.
“What if I never eat blackberries again?” Whorl wailed. “I didn’t want to go out tripping!”
Whirl was sure the next thing wasn’t planned – Whorl would never. His nostrils dipped below the mud, and quick as a gale Whorl was breathing air again.
“Won’t you try?”
“Oh, come, Whirl, please just try again.”
Whorl was glad Whirl trusted him, although she didn’t need to – that, of course, had been the trick. Refined Sensibilities turned and stepped, slowly, backwards – only for Whorl to grab hold of his tail and yank him back.
And…splash! The mud coated his brother’s face and tail, and Whorl ran as quickly as his legs could carry him, away with Whirl. It had really been worth the mud!
