On the outskirts of town, just barely close enough to fit in as a part of the public area, is the harbor. It stretches out far enough into the ocean to provide a quaint fishing spot for those that can't afford to rent a boat. Speaking of renting, there are several things one can rent here at the small stand that sits at the beginning of the pier. Water skis, fishing poles, bait, wetsuits, scuba gear, surfboards, etc.. Most of anything one can think of that requires a pool of water can be found here for a price. Though, this location is normally just used for travelers to ride the ferry in or out of the island. The boats scare off most sea critters, aside from the lobsters and crabs that gather below the pier and the sea gulls and pelicans that lounge on the few roofs shading the harbor, making this a rather quiet start to one's life in Sonata Town.

xoxoxoxoxoxoxxoxoxoxxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxox A sigh escaped from the man's lips as he looked around the boat. He should be getting to the Island soon right? He shouldn't have to stay on this boat any longer right? Wrong. Or he at least thought he was. It had been such a long day for him. First he had to finish packing up little things that he had left out the day before, then inform his band mates that he was quitting and that they needed a new bass guitarist. They weren't too happy with him after that. Especially after they figured out he was following after the guitarist that left them before. Looking around he pulled his bangs out of his eyes, and pulled out his iPod from his pocket. He was getting tired of listening to the same album over and over again. He must have left the stupid thing on repeat. His fingers tapped against the screen softly until he got to a different song. It was one that Penelope had showed him before Kenneth and her moved away. He didn't know why he wanted to listen to it. He never got a long with Penelope especially after she started dating one of the guys in his band. He didn't want his band mates to start acting like how she did then. Even if they did start on their own now... and supposedly she was acting a lot better now. Kenneth said the move was really helping her out. Oliver really hoped it was true. Maybe he would like her more this time. Pulling himself away from his thoughts for a bit. He looked around. Noticing several changes. For one the boat had finally stopped. For two there was a short man saying, "Sir? We've arrived. Are you paying attention to me?" Oliver gave the man a nod. Picking up his bags before following him off the boat. It was kind of a hassle since he had so many and he kind of wished he had some one to help him. But it didn't seem like he was going to get any now. He hated this. Especially how the boat wobbled. He tossed the bags down next to him when his feet touched the pier. Oliver was so relieved to be off the boat. He thought he was going to do something stupid like fall into the water somehow. It would be something that would happen to him.

Sethrian had arrived earlier and was now standing on a pier looking out to sea. He pulled out his mobile phone, frowning slightly as he flipped through his missed calls and messages--all were from his aunt. He glowered down at the phone for a moment, before switching the screen off and bending to pick up his suitcases. He'd dropped off a portion of his stuff on his last trip to the island so all he had this time around were his immediate, personal belongings. He'd known, for a while, that he would be relocating here so he'd taken appropriate care to set up an apartment in advance. With a sigh, he set off toward the end of the pier, skirting another man who was just disembarking a boat, Sethrian gave his belongings a disparaging look. A few feet further down, he paused to fish out a slip of paper with his new address. It wasn't that far; perhaps he should just walk...

Ugh, what a stupid, hot day! The woman fanned herself to keep herself from simply melting into nothing as she scowled at the male servant pulling her forward in the gold-trimmed carriage she had specially made for summer. It looked exactly like all the pink carriages she had before, to be honest, but she had been having issues with how the top of the vehicle simply didn't work with the very large crowns she had ordered to sit atop her royal head. So, she had had it removed! But, now that the roof was open, she could feel the sun's rays attacking her precious skin! So much for a pleasant ride around town! It was all the servant's fault. If he had only been able to fan her while pulling the carriage, everything would be fine! She huffed and fell back on the plush seat, arms crossed and eyes scanning the changing scenery. Then, as was the norm for the ever-lucky Sonatas, Lilia spotted not one, but two pleasant surprises!
She smirked slightly as she sat back up, one gloved hand raised as she ordered, “Peasant, stop! Your Queen would like to speak to her people.” She fluffed her hair as she waited for the servant to do as she said – which wasn't very long, considering the poor guy was in desperate need of a break to consider the cyanide pill he kept tucked away in his pocket. The carriage had come to a stop at the very end of the pier, where Lilia gracefully stepped onto with only a small sneer in disgust at the gross, salty planks her beautiful shoes had to touch. She wiped it away as she looked up to see the two newcomers who had stepped off the boat and surveyed them – both were just tall enough, she supposed.
She stepped right in the way of the faster one (Sethrian) and smiled her best royal smile, “Welcome. I know you know who I am, peasant, so I won't dally with introductions. The sun is too hot. You have the choice to pull my ride,” She motioned behind her to the carriage, “or provide shade from the sun.” Oh, wasn't she just so nice! Giving the little peasant a choice! He must be tickled pink to be blessed such a thing from a Sonata~!

xoxoxoxoxoxoxxoxoxoxxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxox Well this was interesting. Oliver wasn't even here for an hour and something strange just had to happen. The young man grabbed his bags and made his way up the pier. Standing away from the other man and young girl just by a bit. Too worried about getting too close. His eyes wondered over the carriage that the girl had just stepped out of. Then he looked over at the poor man that had to pull the thing. He looked tired and Oliver felt kinda bad for him. He then looked at the girl (Lilia). Did she think she was Royalty? Well it would be cute if she wasn't calling him a peasant. Or maybe it wouldn't be. He didn't know right now. His focus was more on getting to Kenneth's house. But he didn't want to be rude to this girl. "What's wrong princess?"He said the words softly. Hoping that calling her princess wouldn't upset her.

While Sethrian was contemplating walking or finding a ride to his place, he was approached by a smiling female. Who then demanded he either pull her bizarre carriage, or shade her from the sun. She had a crown and everythng, and certainly seemed full enough of herself to be either a princess, or some sort of bizarre space-time anomaly that had caused her to fold into herself with tragically (and annoyingly) narcisstic results. Either way, Sethrian wasn't amused by her 'offer.' Did she think he was a lesser being simply because he wasn't white? Is that why she approached him rather than the fool who was now shyly calling her a princess? Pfft. Screw that. She could go play with a shark for all he cared. (Though it figured that the first person to actually approach him would be a prejudiced cow. Charming.) "Are you retarded?" Sethrian asked bluntly, practially radiating loathing in Lilia's general direction. "I have no idea who you are and no intentions of becoming an indentured servant to a spoiled brat with a tacky crown. Get away from me." Hmm. That had been a little harsh, huh? Oh well. ((...;~~; I'm sorry Coma. I'm so sorry. (Not really...I'm kind of laughing. You're so evil. xD ))

xoxoxoxoxoxoxxoxoxoxxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxox Oh Ouch! That was just a little mean. Fighting back a chuckle, Oliver looked back at the poor guy who had to have dealt with the woman all day. He really just wanted to help the poor guy out. Did he get breaks? Or did he have to just pull the carriage around town with out one. Wouldn't it be easier to just have a car and drive around? She could get a pink one? Oliver sighed, wondering what else he would bump into on his way to his new home. He would definitely have to get a job soon and just pay Kenneth back for everything. Then again he couldn't help but worry about what was in front of him. He knew he could just leave and feel bad about the whole thing or he could probably appear as if he didn't have a spine and just help out.

Ohgawd. Ohgawd. Ohgawd. How the heck did this happen? One moment, Morgan was just on his way to work, and the next, he found himself practically ran over by some carriage, and then he was forced to drag it around. It really was times like these where he wished that he could just stop being the nice guy because now, he was just dying from exhaustion. This woman was insane. Absolutely bonkers! But noooo, he just had to grin and laugh it off with good humor instead of just fleeing to the nearest shelter. Again, why did he have to be so nice? At least, he could get a break now that they stopped the carriage, only there seemed to be two other guys that were around. If only he could tell them to run for their lives, lest they be enslaved by this horrible woman, but between panting for his breath and feeling like a bag of jelly, Morgan could only manage to throw them a pleading look and gasp out a simple "Run." It was already too late for him. Really. It was. There was no escaping because there was a freaking leash attached to him, and there was no way to get it off without a key.

Delicate brows arched furiously as one Lilia Sonata was met with such.. such brazen insubordination! Her mouth flopped open and close a few times as she was torn between explaining to him just how dead he was or not wasting her breath on a disgusting, dirty peasant. Eventually, her choice was made for her as another male – the other newcomer – decided to approach without permission just to rub salt into the wound. She sent him a scathing look before, with a loud huff, turning to go back to her carriage – but was she leaving? Oh, no! Lilia couldn't just allow these two peasants to wander around town, spreading such thoughts of disrespect and possibly causing a rebellion! Her father had left her several journals instructing on just what to do when such a situation arose and, given all that he had done to the people, it was in her best interest to trust his judgment.
So, she retrieved the Golden Riding Crop of Obedience and turned back to the group, tapping the shimmery crop against the opposite hand with a smirk. One that quickly disappeared as she heard that gasp from the recently caught servant (Morgan) because how dare he. “SILENCE.” She indicated him with the crop as she scowled, before clearing her throat and looking to the boys again.
She looked at the first boy (Sethrian) and considered him for a moment before drawing her arm back and giving a good, solid smack to his cheek. Ah, how satisfying this was~ She sighed, “I hope you understand the price of speaking out of turn. Now, if you only prostrate yourself and apologize, I may be forgiving. But, you.” She pointed to the other boy (Oliver), “For daring to approach a Sonata without being called on AND addressing me with something so.. so below my rank! I am a QUEEN, this is my island, and you will not call me a 'princess'. I demand an explanation and you should hope it is good enough.” She twirled the crop to get the message across and waited for their response. Really, anyone else would have already killed them both! They should be happy she wasn't throwing them in the dungeon or anything.
((Never apologize! 8D I don't. Bwehehehehe. >D ))

Sethrian froze when the woman's hand made solid contact with his face. It wasn't that he was entirely unused to being slapped. Actually, it happened with disturbing frequency. But it didn't make it any less infuriating that some woman felt it was her right to order him around, hit him and speak in such a condescending manner. Without giving it much thought, Sethrian did the most natural thing. He calmly snatched the riding crop away from the woman and threw it as far out to sea as possible. (It kind of pained him to do it since it looked expensive but, well, maybe she'd find some simipering idiot to drive in after it. Then again, the idiot attached to her carriage didn't seem all that loyal. (He wondered if he should help but decided that, for all he knew, this was some sort of bizarre street performance and it might be better not to interfere.) "And now you understand the price of hitting me once," he said flatly. "Hit me again, and it's going to be you I throw in the ocean." "Now if you'll excuse me, I have better things to do than make small talk with cosplayers and mental patients." With that, he started away from the strange little group, determined to get as far from them as possible before the crazy spread...or he got hit again.

xoxoxoxoxoxoxxoxoxoxxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxox The man turned his head away from Lilia. Looking towards where the crop was thrown. He didn't think anyone would go get that thing back for her. Who would? He turned his head, facing forward again and trying to keep a blank expression on. He wasn't going to deal with this. And neither should the other two. So, Oliver walked past the "Queen" not giving her another word and took a look at the leash that was around Morgan. It needed a key? What kind of leash was this? Shaking his head and letting his long bangs fall into his eyes he let out a sigh. "Sorry man I might not be able to help you..."He then searched through his pockets. First the back pockets, then the front, and finally he searched the pockets of his jacket. Nothing useful. He took a look at the leash again. Where would she keep the key?

Morgan flinched at the bark of an order. Oh, man, he definitely did not want to get hit by that, especially after what he saw her do to that other guy with it, but it seemed like he was safe when the crop was flung out into the sea. Although, none of this really helped with his little predicament. He was still locked up. Yeap. It didn't help at all. Of course, he did tell the two dudes to scram for it, but he didn't really think that they'd just abandon him here! He paled. No way, he couldn't be doomed to this. Definitely not. If no one could help him, especially the guy who even stated so, then it was just up to him. He could handle it. It was no problem whatsoever. He just needed to do a little acting. That's all. Morgan took a deep breath in an attempt to calm his nerves and forced a sheepish smile on his face in order to casually ask the woman. "Hey, your majesty, I can go fetch that crop for you if you want. You mind letting me go first though?"

Oh, she could not believe this. Not only did the stupid peasant throw her precious crop into the sea, he hadn't bothered to apologize and, instead, started to walk AWAY from her! It was outrageous – she had never met such people! Well, granted, she didn't usually greet newcomers to the island and it was really only a whim that she do it today, but, still! She didn't know they were usually so uncouth before the islanders broke them in! She took just a moment more to stand there in awe at the vulgarity of them before deciding it was about time she took control of this situation again. She turned to scream after the man who was walking away, “STOP! I demand you stop! I order stop! I--”
She paused as she realized that the other peasants were conspiring against her just to her left! Ugh! And she had thought the tall blonde one was loyal! She scrunched her nose, “What are you doing?” She snapped, stopped, and took a breath, smoothing out her dress. “You.” She pointed at the brunette (Oliver), “I feel you have repented from your first mistake and deserve to be rewarded, blah blah, you're a knight now. So, go seize that man for your Queen this instant.”
She walked behind him and gave him a push in the other male's (Sethrian's) direction, looking to the blonde slave, “Fine, if you want to please your queen, go fetch my crop.” She tugged the key from her cleavage and unlocked him from the carriage, but she didn't release him from the harness. No, she wasn't that stupid. She turned to look to her new-knight now impatiently, hands on hips and eyes narrowed.

Sethrian almost didn't stop on command because, well, he had no intention of listening to any psycho ( Lilia) who decided it was acceptable to order around strangers--until he heard the woman order one of the others ( Morgan) to hunt down the riding crop and the other ( Oliver) to 'seize' him. Now, normally Seth would not go to any great lengths to antagonize a random female but this one really, really deserved it and every word that spewed out of her mouth just made him hate her more. Seth took a deep breath and dropped his bag right there. Turning on his heel, he headed back to the annoying woman. Seth shot a glare to both of the other men just in case one of them was actually intending to try to restrain him. He strode purposefully toward the woman an, giving her a sardonic bow, Seth said, "I am dreadfully sorry for throwing your precious riding crop, your majesty. But instead of sending someone else to retrieve it, isn't it better to go get it yourself?" Without another word, he scooped Lilia up, slung her over his shoulder and started toward the water a near run. Now, Sethrian didn't want to be guilty of murder on his first day on the island and, since he didn't know if she could swim or not, he walked straight into the ocean with her. And as soon as they were a bit past waist deep, he said, "I believe it landed about right here. Be sure to hold your breath while you look." And with that, he unceremoniously tipped Lilia off his shoulder into the warm water.

Amanda Hope O'Ballivan ✿ It had become a tradition, on quiet days Amanda would head down to the harbor and greet people. If no one new was coming in then she would just walk around and take pictures or bring the dogs down and play in the shallow water. Today it seemed though as though there was a lot of activity going on. Walking down the dusty road in her coral Vans, the willowy blonde pulled her camera out as she saw one of the Sonata's disembark from the ship. Hell. As if things weren't crazy enough without all the Sonata's family being here. As she moved her lens up she watched the whole situation play out. First the new woman attaches some carriage to some poor guy, then someone must have talked back to her because out comes some shiny riding crop, and she hit him with it?! Really, it was quite comical from a distance. Briskly moving down the lane she came closer and heard the few different conversations going on. As the newest Sonata female ordered people around even more (as per usual Sonata family shenanigans) Amanda moved her camera up again to take a few more shots. Boy oh boy was she happy to have done that, as one of the new people to Nirvani threw her into the water! As Amanda clicked a few more shots away she lowered the lens and doubled over in laughter. It was just so comical! Oh she'd have to buy this kid a drink later. Well as long as Romane didn't arrest him. Oh but this was just too good to resist laughing at. Besides, she wasn't afraid of the Sonata's. Her family had enough money that they were about the same social level. Sometimes if words didn't work with people telling them you were equal worked better. Pausing her laughter as best she could, Amanda took a few more photos and then let her camera swing to her side and walked forward a bit more so she was along the beach with the others. Looking at the drenched Sonata woman had her giggling again shortly and then into more full fledged laughter. Oh this was just too good!With:: Oliver, Seth, Lilia, Morgan Wearing :: Coral Casual Thinking :: Oh this is so funny~!
