So we're looking for some suggestions and feedback as to what we can do to generate new interest in the shop, and what we can do in regards to policies and the handling of RP and whatnot.
We were greatly appreciate your feedback in regards to this.
As the B/C shifts and changes, so must we. And in order to do so we need to know what you're looking for in terms of a user.
All shop rules and TOS rules apply to this thread, so keep it civil or this option will not be available to you in the future.

I haven't been around in quite a while, so I dunno how up-to-date my opinion is, but uh.
I have noticed a trend of people showing interest in the art of Solace Scents, but then falling away after obtaining Scent, whether it's unlit or already a child. I really wonder why that is, since a great deal of having a Scent is helping it develop and contributing little pieces to the great big Scent plotline.
That said, I really like the RP rules currently in place. I liked that owners don't have to worry about their Scents being abruptly rehomed for an absence of an arbitrary amount of time ('cause I'm for serious. Kaleb is one of my favoritest creations on Gaia). I also like that RP is required to grow; to me, it only makes sense. You contribute your piece of the plotline, your character advances. I know that a lot of shops also award active RP with special stuffs.
On my part, I know a lot of my lack of RP was due to a combination of factors. A) lack of inspiration/motivation, B) lack of experience/RP-ing myself into a pigeonhole, C) lack of consistent input from RP partners, D) lack of spare time, E) simply forgetting.
I really like that flatsales and growth events have certain prompts to help guide our writing. One thing I would suggest is to put out a few RP challenges every once in a while, just little prompts to get the brain-juices going for owners who find it harder to come up with RP ideas on the fly, or who are starting to think they bit off more than they can chew. For me personally, I love that Midori is a pretty flexible setting, but sometimes I feel that the setting is too big, that there are too many options, and I need something a little more specific just to help me focus. I like the idea of being able to develop as a writer/roleplayer/storyteller at the same time that I'm developing my Scent.
Even though I'm still struggling with my Guardian concept, I'm glad I was able to get feedback from other owners when I asked for help in the main shop thread. I got a few new ideas and directions that I wouldn't have thought of on my own because I was so fixated on how things already were.
