Hello everyone~
Long time no see! We're all very excited you decided to join us again, and we're doing our best to get things up and running as fast as we can! For the time being, I have a few short announcements to make to all of you. If you've been hanging out, paying close attention, a lot of this will be old news, but I wanted to make sure that everyone sees it!
1. First off, we'll be resuming the roleplay in Year 25. The last guild left off at the start of year 18, so this will act as a seven year timeskip! Please make sure you check out the Welcome Back thread, which contains a list of all characters and their ages, so you don't have to do the math yourself! You're welcome to continue playing previous characters or get rid of some, as well as add new characters, but it would be nice if you'd check the aforementioned thread so you know what to expect. uwu
2. Secondly, we have a series of polls coming your way! Please check the guild OOC thread for that (as well as to say hello to everyone~). We'll be asking for little things like newspaper or TV station, to larger things like the official name for the guild! Similarly, we're very interested in hearing what you think, so if you have any feedback, questions, or suggestions, we'd love to hear from you!
3. Lastly, regarding job reservations. Right now we are taking EARLY JOB RESERVATIONS, for all of you returning, but there are some guidelines:
xoxo - Only characters who had jobs in the last guild can reserve right now. If your character was unemployed or was too young to work in the previous guild, regardless of their age now, they will be treated same as new characters, and you'll have to wait until we open job reservations to everyone before you can grab jobs for them,
xoxo - Jobs will be first come, first served as usual, but first priority will be given to business owners who owned the business in the last guild. If you really really want your character to take over a certain business, but it was owned by another character in the last guild, please talk to both that character's player AS WELL as LoliKokoro. We strongly suggest you check not only the Job Center in this guild, but the Job Center in the last guild.
We hope that you're as excited to be back as we are, and hopefully we can make a Nirvani that is bigger and better than before! We'll probably be announcing a few other things in the days to come, so please keep your eyes open~ And as always, if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask a crew member!

Hello, hello, everyone!
I know Loli said it before me, but it never hurts to reiterate – we're all so very excited and happy to get this guild back up and springing forward! We're all working very hard to get this done as fast as possible and I think we're making great headway so far. But, while we're busy skittering around trying to set this up so we can start, we know you members who were invited in early are probably bored out of your mind! As such, we're going to let you know that you're totally free to get started on setting up your profile threads and journals.
Remember, this would be a great time to get in contact with your fellow members (us crew included, obviously) and figure out how the last seven years went if you had any previous relationships or plans with your characters and others. As Loli said just before me, reclaiming those old jobs or businesses the characters you're keeping used to own should also be done right about now. Just because the actual roleplay hasn't started yet, doesn't mean there's nothing to do!

Hello everyone~
So we've been telling you to post profiles and start setting up, but we haven't even announced the starting date yet! Silly us! The roleplay will be beginning on Summer 1st, Year 25. From now until June 1st, we will treat all posts as being within ONE DAY, so you can set up and start posting without losing time. From June, the time will continue as usual (so June 1st - Summer 1st, June 2nd - Summer 2nd, etc) but for the rest of May, it will be be Summer 1st!
Please take note of this when making your profiles. If your character's birthday is in Spring, their birthday has already come and gone! So please be careful with ages, etc.
As always, if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask! We are still taking first priority job reservations, but soon we'll be taking job reservations for ALL characters, so please keep an eye out for that announcement!

Hello everyone~
Everyone's been hard at work finishing profiles and journals and things, and let me say, it's really exciting! We're really close to opening! So, I want to let you guys know that a few more things are open:
The Big List of Everything is open, so when you have the time, please post there with the relevant information about your characters, so we can add you in!
Also, all characters may reserve jobs now. Before, we were just taking characters who were reclaiming old jobs, but now you can send reservations for everyone! New characters, characters with new jobs, anything's okay!
So essentially, everything is open to you, journals, profiles, Big List, job center, except roleplaying. We'll make an announcement when you can start posting in character~
As always, if you have any questions please ask! Thank you for your cooperation.

Hello everyone~
So it looks like people will be finishing up their profile/journal/etc set-up pretty soon, so Serend and I have decided to officially open the guild! Hooray!
As long as you have profiles done (obviously you can't play characters who don't have profiles!) you can start posting. If you'd rather finish your journals and post all your business/home threads before you start getting into it, that's fine too, of course~ There's plenty of time to ease into it, so don't feel like you have to rush to get started posting!
And remember, from now, May 21st, through June 1st, the date will be Summer 1st. So if your characters have a spring birthday, now would be the time to update their ages! Everything that happens in the next eleven days will fall under one roleplay day.
Unsure of where to start? Maybe check out the Request Board to see if anyone needs your character's help, or post a request yourself! If there's nothing there that appeals to you, we'll be opening the Beach Day festival. You can send your characters to play at the beach, and maybe participate in the swimsuit contest! Please check the festival thread for more information.

Hello everyone~
It's been about a week since the roleplay started, and we're so happy to see you all posting in Beach Day! You still have plenty of time to get profiles/journals/houses/businesses done and posted, but because June is almost upon us, we have a few things coming up in the next week that we want to announce!
1. Beach Day has been open for a week already, so we're closing the swimsuit contest. If you wanted your character to enter but missed it, I'm sorry, but you'll have to wait until September! You can still send your characters to Beach Day, however, they just can't enter the swimsuit contest. Also, now your characters should vote!. Each of your characters should vote two times, once for a male candidate and once for a female candidate! Once everyone's voted we'll tally up the votes and announce the winner~ Please make sure to vote through an ooc note in your post so we don't miss it! We will also be starting the fireworks soon, so in your next posts you should transition from a sunny afternoon to twilight/dusk.
2. Beach Day will be closing on June 7th, and on that day we will be opening the Valentine's Day festival too. For those who haven't done Valentine's Day before, you can use it as a date location for your characters already with someone special, but the main event is the matchmaking service. If you want Zhi to set your character(s) up with someone special, you should PM Serendipitous Coma with your character's name, and the gender they're looking for, so male, female, or either/doesn't matter. By the 7th, you'll receive some sort of clue to help your character find their date, so if you want to participate, make sure you PM Serend by June 5th.
3. And of course, starting from June 1st, time will progress properly. June 2nd will be Summer 2nd, June 3rd will be Summer 3rd, the 4th will be Summer 4th, all the way through June 30th/Summer 30th. So let's roleplay lots, now that paradoxes won't be as much of an issue~

Yooooooo! Coma in da HOUSE!
So, it's about time we start introducing Character Caps again! No worries, no one's done anything wrong for us to do it, but we do like to maintain character diversity and trends sorta hinders that want, so here's how it's going to go down!
There will be no more Wealthy Characters permitted until we say otherwise! That means your billionaires, millionaires, or trillionaires, folks! Any wealthy family made before this announcement is totally a-okay and beloved, of course, so don't start sweating that you'll have to edit things! This ONLY applies to any new characters coming in! C=

Hello everyone~
Today I bring two small announcements about Big List-related news!
1. We have a new category for the Big List! From now on, we will keep track of characters who are divorced and/or a widow/widower. If any of your characters have gotten divorced or lost a spouse, please post their name in the Big List so I can add it! ALSO! we are including people married to NPCs in the married list. For example, Alex Park is married to Freja von der Bach but up until now they were omitted from the list because Freja's an NPC. But now we're including them, so again, if you have characters who now fit that column, please let me know!
2. We are now accepting wealthy characters again! Our restriction only lasted about a week, but millionaires, billionaires, and trillionaires are okay for the time being~

Hello everyone~
Have you been checking your calendars lately? If you have, you probably have noticed that it's almost July! How did that happen? And here I was wondering why it was getting so hot! Anyway, the end of June means the end of Summer here in Nirvani, and the end of Summer means new events! We'll have some new things coming up in the next few days, so please pay attention!
1. Valentine's Day will be closing on July 1st. If your dates are going well and you're not ready to end them, you can move them to other threads (like the garden, or wherever your characters may continue the date) and carry on, but please make sure you've ended your date or moved it out of the festival thread by July 1st!
2. The Tomato Festival will be opening on July 1st as well. If you don't already know, the Tomato Festival is a large-scale dodgeball-esque tomato fight held in the town square. Characters participate in teams of up to three people, so you might want to start talking with other members to set up your teams! Team sign-ups will happen IN-POST (meaning, you just send them on the day the festival opens, no need to PM us beforehand) but characters without a team may be added to a team with strangers, eek!
3. Lastly, Fall means school! That's right, summer vacation is over and the new school year is starting! You should be receiving letters in the next few days with the details. I'd also like to say that our beloved(?) principal, Judith Cunningham, has left her position to do bigger, greater, possibly more diabolical things, which means that the school has a new principal, Junior Waldroup! To celebrate the new school year as well as this new era of Nirvani education, we'll be throwing a Welcome Back Festival at the school on July 1st. Right now, we're looking for volunteers to help run the festival! If you have a character who is willing to help out at the carnival, such as running some game booths (ring toss, darts) or anything equally carnival-y, please let us know!
It'll be a busy start to the month, but hopefully it'll be lots of fun!

Good evening everyone!
Happy July! I come bearing reminders this time! If you've been on top of everything, this is probably old news, but I'd like to make sure everyone knows what's going on, so here are some reminders about current events:
1. V-day is closed, though you don't have to end your dates if you don't want to. If you'd like to continue your date, you can either move them to a different thread (like a business or a home or something), or you can continue what you've been doing in the garden thread if you don't want to relocate your characters. But all V-day posts and replies should be done outside of the festival thread!
2. The Tomato Festival is open, so if you want to participate, please send your characters there! You can either submit them as part of a team (up to three people) or have them look for a partner, but please make sure to do that ASAP! We'll give you a few days to get your characters submitted and your posts in before we start the contest.
3. The school festival is also open! If you have any student characters, please make sure you send them to the schoolhouse for the first day of school, so they can play at the carnival, meet their teacher, and maybe make some new friends!

Hello, everyone!
First off, I would like everyone to congratulate Team JAG (Javor Karel, Angela Tremaine, and Garland Smoot ) for their victory at the Tomato Festial! They all go home with a few bruises, tomato stains and a season membership pass to the gym! We doubt they'll use it, which is why we're giving them away!
Now, unto more serious business; the Tomato Festival (T-Fest for close friends ;D ) is now officially closed. We'll keep the thread unlocked a little while longer in case you wanted to make an exit posts, but be warned that it'll be locked in the next 24hours.
BUT FRET NOT! An early closing Tomato Festivals means an early opening Pumpkin Moon Festival! That's right people! You will be able to dress up in costume, play pranks, go on a date and pray to the Goddess the fairies don't change you into a turnip! ...Again! Send as many of your characters as you can and join in the fun! It'll be open soon! And by soon, I mean "as soon as one of the crew gets around to it". We hope to see you all there =D

Hihihi everyone!
How is everyone doing? I hope you're enjoying your summer, and that it's not too hot wherever you are. It's been pretty stormy where I am, which means that it's been so humid I could probably swim through the air if I tried.
Anyway, have you been checking your calendars? If you haven't, I'm here to point out that July is almost over! Wowowow things go by so quickly, I could have sworn we were just opening the T-fest! As always, the new month will bring a new season, new birthdays, new weather, and new festivals!
The White Day Festival will be opening in a little over a week, and there are some things we need to do in preparation! White Day is a great chance to meet new people, and best of all, you're not confined to the festival thread! Want to have a date on the mountaintop? Go ahead! Want to make your date clean the gutters on your house? Be my guest! Just gotta bid high enough!
We're currently taking sign-ups for the White Day event. You can enter any male character regardless of age or health to be bid on. To sign up your character please PM Zemblanity Insomnia with the character name(s) you'd like to enter. Signups will end July 31st.
We are only taking sign-ups for male participants. You cannot have your character start bidding until we've posted the entry descriptions (no names!), so we'll announce when those are available.
As always, if you have any questions about the festival, how bidding works, or anything else that seems unclear or confusing, please don't hesitate to PM a crew member or post in the OOC!

I would like to thank everyone who entered some of their male characters for white day! Inscriptions are now over, which means that it's time for the bidding to start! Please, all head to the White Day festival thread in order to see the various hints to help you pick your choice! Also, unlike what the rules are saying, please PM BOTH Lolikokoro and myself, Zemblanity Insomnia instead of Serendipity Coma, because she's lame and had to do that silly "moving" things of hers and not be around. Pff. That being said, grab your wallet and prepare to bid!

It's coming up, so please try to PM both LoliKokoro and Zemblanity Insomnia your bids by then! It's important that you send them to both of us, so we won't miss anything! As soon as we have our bids, we'll post the winners in the White Day thread, and you can get started on your dates~ (or whatever it is you choose to do)
