Training was over for the night and he was out patrolling wondering in no real direction, but he soon found himself standing across from the Library were Camelot or rather Tony, he'd said, worked. He wondered if the knight would be anywhere around right now, but he didn't feel anything at thing moment, good or bad.
He ran up to the building and gave a leap onto a ledge before hopping up onto the roof and sitting down looking over the city. It was quite tonight, so he decided that maybe he would try to relax and meditate. That was what he needed to do to visit Shangri-la, right?
She got up and sat down properly on the roof so be wasn't visible and closed his eyes trying to relax, albeit not very sucessfully. His mind generally went back to one thing or another and he kept grabbing onto thoughts, especially about work and his family's going on right now. Tensions were still a bit high at the moment, but things were getting better.
He sighed slightly frustrated at his inability to relax wondering if he was doing it wrong.

Tony was just finishing up some nightly duties inside the library, things he should have gotten done a long time ago but had been lazing about this evening, and did not notice the noises of someone climbing up onto the roof. In fact, he finished his work and made his way up toward the roof before he powered up and sensed the aura nearby. It was a bit of a surprise.
He was not expecting someone to be so close. He opened the door from the library out onto the roof, letting it close and lock behind him as he stepped out. He always felt a little funny, in a way he could not explain, when he walked through doors like a perfectly normal person, except he was dressed in full armor.
He saw Shang sitting on the roof and smiled, not realizing he was focusing and quiet, walking up to him and clearing his throat.
"Hello there. What brings you to the library this evening? Do you need some help?" he had to admit, when he did see people here, he worried they were in danger. That was, after all, why he told them where to find him.

The sudden emergence of an energy signature so close, so fast startled Shang right out of his useless meditation and he turned at the voice approaching him. his heart rate was calming, but he was very glad to see Camelot which definitely helped to calm the ridiculous drumming in his chest and ears.
Shang smiled and shook his head, "I was trying to meditate I guess. I wasn't very successful at it though. There is just to much going on in my life for me to relax very easily. Really I swear I sleep because I'm fully exhausted as oppose to because I'm relaxed and sleepy."
He laughed awkwardly and sighed, "How do you do it Camelot? " He asked not really entirely sure what he was asking. It wasn't really entirely the whole traveling across space and time thing, but everything he guessed.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to startle you, honestly. I'm just used to this place being empty by now, in or outside. No one likes to be at a library longer than they have to." He smiled and looked a little sheepish, feeling guilty for interrupting. Meditation was a serious art to some people, a focus and a study.
He could learn a few things from that.
The question gave him pause. How did he do it? He fought as a knight and protected the city, and he took care of his family. And a library, to boot. It was not the most glamorous day job, certainly, but it was enough for him, and it kept his family cared for.
"You find a balance. I have a good network of friends and allies that help me, and my family keeps me sane. Working here during the day gives me a place to escape to, to rest and find peace, before coming back out here to patrol."

"I wondered briefly if you would be here. I didn't actually intend to come here. I just sort of ended up here. You've been helpful thus far, I guess maybe that's why," he said currently feeling like a little boy despite nearing 28 years of age.
He frowned, "I have some sort of balance, though I must say my family is not keeping me sane. They are not very happy about my sister and I's decision to stay in the city especially not after a friend of the family was shot and my sister's roommate was killed. Too much to close to home, even though it doesnt really have anything to do with this," he motioned to his outfit. "I feel like I need to get away, but working in the ER definitely doesn't do that, nor does this knight er page thing."
He frowned, "sorry I don't mean to unload on you. Forgive me. Just have a lot on my mind right now."
He turned back to look out over the city. "I want to visit Shangri-la, not that I think it will help in all this though. What do you think? Do you go to your wonder often?"

"I try to go to my wonder," he said thoughtfully, "but I haven't had much time for it. And sometimes I find myself deciding against going and coming up with an excuse for it, though there is some anxiety about it that I'm not sure how to explain. I've been there before, but I know very little about my past life... I suppose that worries me, sometimes, irrationally."
He sighed, shaking his head.
"You know, if you're ever feeling like this, overwhelmed or confused, you can always come find me for help. Or any of the knights on my team. Well. If you can call it that. I don't see them very often any more, which is a shame, but perhaps I can do something to change that..." He imagined Shalott would have some ideas for it, if he could not come up with it himself. "Ah. The Knights of Destiny. Do you have a team that can help you? It's good for information, or just comfort. Friends."

Shang looked over his shoulder with a bit of a confused look, "your past life? Like you ancestor or reincarnation or something to that effect." He frowned slightly not understanding why Camelot could have possible been nervous about that. It's not as though it was him here and now right. Could the echos of the past effect Camelot now?
Shang thought on the next question, he definitely has people who had his back, but they couldn't be called a team, by any stretch on the imagination. Maybe one day, but not currently. It would definitely be nice to have a team, but he shook his head, not for information and he wasn't really sure they would want to be his friends. He barely had any of those and the ones he did have weren't all the close to him, but for guidance, for learning together, he would like that.
"I wouldn't say I have a team. Information most definitely, but no not a team. Who is one your team? What do you do, or what did you do?"

"unfortunately, we don't do much now," he said with a sigh, "but that's more my fault than anything else. I have been so busy, and a little bit neglectful in my duties to my team. I promise that won't be a trend, that's really not a good way to sell a team to someone. Ugh. Well. In any case. What we aim to do is share information, and help one another on patrols. We can grow stronger by sharing what we know, be it through training, through stories of our experience, or through sharing what we've found out."
He frowned and looked at Shang, though the expression shifted and he smiled after a moment, chagrined but not wanting to dwell on it. It was his own fault, after all, and all he could do was work hard to correct the mistakes he had made so far.
If they worked harder, they would be more effective, that was the only answer. So new members, more contact and work, were the answers he needed to turn to. He would ask those that still wanted to be in his team to help him, and he would build the network he wanted and needed.
"You're more than welcome on our team, though. Everything I know, everything I can do to help you, is at your service." He was a knight, after all, and that was his duty. He served.

Shang couldn't help but to frown as soon as Camelot said the word training, because it was really the last thing he wanted to hear. He really thought he had enough training, enough to last a life time, but he the notion of hearing of other knight experiences was an intriguing proposition. He didn't mind that the team wasn't doing much right now even if it was slightly disconcerting, he hadn't seen a whole lot of anyone doing anything, so at least a team having formed was a start.
He had a very thoughtful expression on his face, before he looked to Camelot and nodded, "I think I would like that. I can offer your team my medical training, if need be, but I'm not sure how much I can offer in the way of my knighthood so to speak."
She stood and held out a hand to Camelot to shake, "thanks for the offer Camelot. I accept."
He paused for a moment unsure what came next, but as Camelot was not his team leader of sort he gave a slightly nervous, even sheepish glance before asking, "do you think it would be to much trouble for maybe a demonstration of how this wonder traveling is suppose to work?"

"Medical? That is good to hear: I get banged up so often I think I could give you plenty of work just on my own." He laughed at the very idea of it, knowing that it was not as ironic as he was trying to make it sound. He really was very good at getting himself injured. It was not his fault, he was just... always in the wrong place at the right time for it.
Of course, he did often go out looking for trouble, since that was kind of his job, but still.
He smiled, though, and pushed those thoughts aside as he shook hands with the younger knight and nodded his head happily. It was good to feel like he could help someone again. Recently, he had lost most contact with members of his team, and that was mostly his fault.
"Oh! Yes, of course. Do you want to go to Camelot, then? It is a strange process, because the words for the... the spell, I suppose you could call it, come to each of us in our own time. It's not something someone can tell you how to do: much like the item that powered you up, it will come to you. But, I can take you to my Wonder, and you can at least experience what it's like."
He was always bashful about taking people to his wonder. Why did it make him feel so awkward? he just had to get over it, and become more comfortable with it: there was so much to learn from visiting their past.

Shang laughed, "well my services are available to you and everyone on the team. I don't mind. I find myself offering my services all the time. It seems a lot of us do not really care to go to the hospital." All the fixing up would definitely help with his experience.
Shang nodded, "Think you told me that before, but I don't know. I just felt like I was doing something wrong. Sorry." He paused for a second before nodding slightly, "but I think I would really enjoy seeing Camelot. Never imagined placed like Shangri-La and Camelot would actually exist."
Shang looked a little awkward for moment before asking, "you're really okay with me coming. I mean I don't know how sacred these places, but um you could go to Shangri-La one day too I suppose. It will probably be better with another along, if its not like super sacred or something."

"Yeah, it is weird to think that these places are real... I spent a lot of my time, before becoming a knight, collecting stories about Camelot and all the legends that came from it. It was very weird to adopt that as my name, and this form." He shook his head, thinking about it now, grinning a bit.
He had to admit, it was a very good fit for him. He had felt so wholly attuned to his form, back when awakening had been new and weird, and never once did he doubt his identity.
He wished it was so for others, as it might cut down on corruption. But then again, some things were unavoidable.
"I'd love to visit Shangri-La some day! Wow, I can hardly imagine what that might be like." He knew the legends attached to that name, too, and shook his head, laughing. "What a world we live in. Bigger than I ever imagined it would be. So, ah. We'll think up a good time to go and visit Camelot, hm? And for anything else, of course."

"I never really looked up Shangri-la until after I became Shangri-la but it a very neat place and I would like to see if it comes anything close to the legend, which obviously isn't as much of a legend as most think it is. Can't believe it's on Pluto though as opposed to the Himalayas, but that's the mystery of it right?"
Shang couldn't say that he was wholly attuned like Camelot, but he wouldn't deny that after a bit of research that Shangri-la seemed a good fit for him and it didn't necessarily feel wrong. No for him it was really the war that was the problem.
Shang gave a smile and a nod happy to know Camelot didn't mind a visit to Shangri-la. He felt currently a bit less frustrated than he had before and a small bit of excitement something he rarely or well something he hasn't felt yet in regards to the whole page business.
"I'm pretty much always busy since I work in the ER so just name a time that's good for you and I will make it work. As for the everything else, when can I meet the rest of the team?"

"Do you think you have much in common with your Wonder, now that you've looked it up a bit? I mean.. ah. Well, I suppose just because of my experience and my past with Camelot, I always have this feeling of destiny. I harp on it a bit too much, I think. Ah. Well." He got a little carried away, sometimes, thinking about his connection to his name, and his curiosity about others and theirs. He would sit on it, for the most part.
"Well, if you give me a way of contacting you, then I'll let you know when to meet me. Honestly, every day except the weekends I am at the library, and every other night I am on patrol."
He would cut that down a bit more, some time, but for now it was balancing alright. He patrolled for shorter hours, which was helping him.
"Ah... well... as far as meeting everyone else... hm. Perhaps it is time I came up with a reason for us all to be in the same place, at the same time. I will organize something for us all to do, and perhaps you can meet them then!"
