It was bittersweet, despite her desire to get home and greet her family she was also taken back by the sounds and sights of the area around her. The way the rain almost made music in the way it fell, the rich smells of the forest...it was hypnotising to say the least and the mare felt rather calm and collected in her silence.
"I wonder how everyone is doing..?" She pondered aloud, her golden necklaces clinking together to make soft chimes. Subira was excited to see her brothers, especially how much Teo must have grown since she'd been gone. She also expected to be mauled by Darius...but well, he did it to everyone so it really wasn't something she could avoid by any means. However her travels brought her into new light after meeting with a few friends, the desire to further her life was becoming more apparent and it would be something she'd have to discuss with her mother. Subira had always been one to put a tasking or the pursuit of knowledge before everything and now...well wouldn't it be nice if she put herself first? If someone...put her first? "Settle down...what a strange thought." While no one in her immediate family had yet to settle down with another, the Amachi's had couples, and so had some of the friend's she met.
Drawing her brows into a knit she hummed slightly, perhaps it was time to learn more about courtship, and romance? It was a subject she hadn't ventured into...to preoccupied in learning the land and species around her. "Mother should know...she is the one who found love against the odds..." A warm smile crossed her face, while it made her sad, she'd seen no other cross species love out there in the world. Which in a way, made her family just all the more special in her mind. "Hopefully the storm lightens soon..."
