Lieutenant Serpentine was naturally uninclinded to conversation--but tonight, the taciturn man was even more so. The meetings which had taken place in the Rift had ended, leaving him with a sour taste in his mouth. Pretty speeches. New orders--only half of which made any sense. Public humilitation...for not knowing something he had never been told. His loyalty, his progress... none of these seemed to matter. His worth continued to be hidden from sight, it seemed. The gardens were lush, the airs filled with moths that flitted about the night time lighting and the pollen-filled mouths of the flowers. The natural setting helped his tense shoulders to relax somewhat. He wished he had more time to observe them, but now was not the time. Now was the time to act. He had his orders, and he had the negative emotions to spur him on to follow them. The lieutenant prided himself on his loyalty, his diligence. Tonight would be the night they shone. The rainbow-haired man looked down at the homeless teen he had knocked unconcious, but only for a moment. More important was the Captain--Captains, in truth--to whom he had been assigned. But to acknowledge their rank, their supposed 'superiority'... was something Serpentine could not stomach. So, instead of rank, he called them by name, "Mica. Buddingtonite. What now?" === Eternal Sailor Pasiphae did not like the dark auras she felt nearby. She had felt stronger, more looming presences... but rarely did she feel three all gathered in one area. There was a fourth one of them on the way, as well. A more powerful one. The only times she had felt so many together were at the times of great battles. That did nothing but make the girl swallow. She pulled out her Senshi cell phone and sent a message to all of her contacts, giving her position. Hopefully someone would come and join her soon. She was not a good fighter, despite her status and her experience, and certainly she could not take on three Chaos members by herself. Chewing on her bottom lip, she waited to see who would join her. If anyone. If no one else came... then she would simply have to go and investigate further by herself.

If Serpentine thought he was the only one that had left the meetings with a sour taste in his mouth, then he had another thing coming. It wasn't like Buddingtonite to wear his emotions on his sleeve, but there were times where he'd make the exception. If it was just him and Serpentine in the gardens, he would have tried to be more laid back, sociable, and the calmer of the two to help his friend get his frustrations out. But there was a third party there, one that he was more than happy to hand off the reigns of being the brains of the operation to, and he joined his friend in the garden, neither lifting a finger to help or getting in his way.
"Now you hold him still and drain his energy, while I tell you how much of a complete joke my General-Queen is!" Buddingtonite said. Where Serpentine wasn't the type to talk out his problems, Buddingtonite was glad to do it for him. He wanted to pry more into the Spec-Ops Branch's meeting, but he was willing to wait. First, he had to let them know of the injustices done to him, and whereas Serpentine lashed out with fists, he did the very same with words. "Would you believe that she made us wait thirty damn minutes while she read a book on her iPad? I... didn't even know we could bring such devices into the Rift! Did you know that we could bring such devices to the Rift, Serpentine? Not only that, but there were Twilight posters everywhere, and what rotten luck I had to be forced to stand right in front of a Robert Pattison poster!"
He still remembered the poster, those soulless, cold, dead eyes, and he openly quivered. Ever since is promotion, he had lost his pinwheel, though the wooden boomerang he had as a replacement was a good source for letting out his anger in an OCD fashion. He took the weapon and tossed it in the air every so often, forcing more on those movements to help calm himself down again and not on the way that Mica rolled her eyes from where she sat on the bench. "Then, to top it all off, she has the nerve to use cheeky pop culture references during the meeting. She belittled this Queen Beryl's death by comparing it to the Hunger Games, and worse than that, she called us the Cullens. The Cullens, Serpentine! I have never been so insulted and disgusted in all my life!"It was a rather interesting sight to see the two officers carry on as they did. Captain Mica had the great fortune of meeting Serpentine once before and while their encounter was brief, she remembered him fondly, as a lieutenant that was moving in the right direction, despite what the Negaverse of today thought. She knew so little of this lieutenant, but she didn't regret her actions at the meeting. She spoke up for him and offered to take him under her wing, and she didn't have a single ounce of regret in her form. She saw untapped potential in him, one that would never grow in the light that he was being forced to grow in.
It did amuse her, though, to discover that the two of them were friends. After the meeting, Buddingtonite may have been the one to openly seek Serpentine out, but it was clear in the lieutenant's eyes that he welcomed his company. It was like the odd couple, the typical 'opposites attract' rule, and for some reason, it humored Mica to no end to see how different, yet similar, the two were. Not to mention, how easy it would have been for her to take both of them under her wings.
"Why, Buddingtonite, I didn't realize you hated Twilight with such a fiery passion," Mica said, her tone deadpan but the hint of snark clear in her turquoise eyes. She remembered Apatite and while she wasn't too fond of the General-Queen herself, she liked anyone that got under her roommate's skin. "I thought you'd love cheap romance novels geared towards seducing witless morons, given your methods."
In the back of her mind, she could feel a strong, Order presence approaching, but she said nothing to the two officers she accompanied. She was certain that Serpentine would feel it, and if Buddingtonite didn't feel it over the sound of his own rants, then he wasn't worth warning.Quicksilver the Archangel

Where there was strong order there was also strong chaos. It wasn't something he wanted to do, and why would he given the last few weeks events? But they were back out collecting energy and that was something he could throw himself into in a mindless sort of way. It didn't kill anyone, nor really harm them, and if he could avoid senshi and knights he was happy to do so. He just couldn't find it within himself, still, to look for a fight or to force himself to do more than ordered and recently his orders had grown. He didn't need to remind himself that he was lucky, he wasn't dead after all, and that the added duties were lenient compared to what his punishment could have been.
The problem was that he had a life outside of the Negaverse. He was still in high school, albeit for only a few more weeks. He had finals and a prom to attend and he still needed to find the perfect outfit for prom! Even if he was going alone, which he was, he certainly had to look his best. If he couldn't look his best why go? For the slice of normalcy? What was normal anyway? For some people not going was normal, and in some cases expected of them. Shaking his head, physically, he banished the thoughts and let them fall to the back of him mind to be pondered tomorrow after noon when he could manage the time.
Right now he could feel several chaos signatures, all below his own, and one order signature that was equal to himself. Hmmm...how interesting. Finishing up with the person he'd been gathering energy from he took off in the direction he felt the chaos signature's from. Hopefully they'd felt the order signature and were aware of it and the possible danger is that senshi called for reinforcements. He needed to get there just in case they couldn't handle whatever might arrive.
Jumping onto a roof top he took off across the cities roof tops in a bid to get to the three agents before the senshi, and whatever backup they might have called, could get there. It had been a quite night for him, like every night aside from that one. And taking advantage of it Chaldene had been content to seat up on a roof top with a book. It wasn't a book borrowed from a friend in university nor was it something popular or even well known, not as far as he knew anyway. The Program, by Suzanne Young, was so far a good read and worth parting with the money he'd spent on it. He'd been browsing the book store earlier in the day looking for something new to read and stumbled upon the book. It had looked, and sounded, interesting and so far it was proving to be just that. Perhaps he found it interesting because in some ways it reminded him of Orwell's two popular books? That was likely the case as was the fact they had done a modern and younger audience take on the concept.
He'd have continued reading, working his way toward chapter five, had it not been for a very specific device buzzing in his pocket. Startled he dropped the book, loosing his place, and rather than grab the book he took out the phone and went about checking to see what message he had.
It was from the short dark haired senshi he'd met, what was her name? He couldn't remember her name but he knew her and her kindness. That was reason enough for him to get up and head her way, even if he didn't like the prospect of getting into a fight. He really didn't like the idea but he also didn't want her heading for any enemies alone, much less three gathered together plus another large signature. No, it wasn't safe and he didn't want to leave her on her own. She'd taken the time to help him and so he would help her in whatever small and simple way he could.
His mind settled and feet already moving he would return, after all was said and done, for his book before returning home for the night. He didn't think he'd want to remain up and about once he was done with whatever he was heading himself toward. Quicksilver the Archangel

Sleet Tempest Snape Didn't want to assume Chaldene approached, yet, so he can pop up with Pasi whenever you're ready! Buddingtonite acted like draining energy was the most natural thing in the world, and that alone kept the proud Serpentine from questioning the matter further. He glanced over the victim. Did he have to touch the chest, as if he were pulling a starseed? Did he have to say some sort of activation word to begin the energy collection process? Apparently holding still was required... but was anything more? Ultimately, the lieutenant looped his arms beneath the victim's arm pits to hold him up straight. Then, he concentrated with all his might, imagining the energy kept in the still form transerring to him. He could not tell if it was working... but if it did not, then he would simply try something else until it did. "Quiet, Buddingtonite." The words may have sounded harsh, particularly following Mica's mockery. It was also improper for a Lieutenant to be giving orders to a Captain, to say the least. However, Serpentine had good reason for his warning. The look he gave his partner showed his true feelings as he spat, "I don't want you reported." No, he didn't want, but if his friend didn't chose his words more carefully, then he would have no choice in the matter. For all the talk of camraderie given during the SpecOps meeting, the emphasis on keeping an eye for traitors had been keenly impressed upon the lieutenant. He knew Buddingtonite was no traitor; it would take much for him to report on his friend. But the boomerang wielding Captain would have to get used to watching hs words around others... as they would not have the personal loyalty that Krishna possessed. Yet, the ranting description of the Infilitration meeting troubled and angered the gold-and-green clad man even more than his own. On the one hand, he was glad to have been in a place of action and inspiring words, however muddled he felt the message was. He had, at least, not seen the experience being treated as a joke. On the other hand... Buddingtonite had apparently not been as lucky. Serpentine thought of what he would have done had he been at his partner's meeting, and he did not like the thought. Rank may have spared the rod form this Apatite, but it did not protect her from legitimate criticism. The matters at the meeting had been serious, and they should have been treated as such. Surely a General-Queen should know that? "Next time, walk out. Or come with me." The wash of Order aura was thrilling to the Lieutenant. It was strong, stronger than any he had fought thus far, but he welcomed it. His skill alone was impressive, but combined with Mica and Buddingtonite's new weapon... well, as far as he was concerned, the Senshi didn't stand a chance. Perhaps another starseed would be added to his collection. Serpentine passed off the unconcious civilian to Buddingtonite before reaching for his snake. "You drain. I will fight." Again, words with the tinge of an order, but truly nothing more than a hasty plan of action. There was, afterall, no need for all three of them to engage in combat right away. If they could drain energy AND fight at the same time... why not do so? === Pasiphae was stuck in a dilemma. She had enough experience to know that she should not be approaching the area without waiting to see how much backup would come. The situation was still dangerous despite her power level. If Paris knew what she was doing... well, both he AND Chris would be having a fit! All of the Jovians would, in fact--because being a Jovian meant never having to be alone. It was her comfort and her rock in an otherwise unstable world. However, she could not simply do nothing. Whatever that pack of Chaos was doing, it had to be dangerous. There had been a decline of energy draining in recent times... but if it had started again, then that was important information for the forces of Order to know. If they were doing anything to harm the citizens of Destiny City--and truly, did not all of their actions harm the innocent in some way?--then they had to be stopped. Her own insecurities told her to wait, that someone better would come along. Someone stronger, someone more experienced, someone who could handle this threat more effectively... perhaps someone who could even tell her how to handle it. Yet, the Shame Senshi continued closer. What if no one else came? Then, even if she was not the best one for the task, she would have to face it. What if another Senshi, or a Knight, was already on the way? They could not stand alone... particularly if they were only on the way in response to her call. She walked slowly through the gardens, the grass shifting softly beneath her booted heels. At least there was no ice or stone to trip her. Just plants, and the group of three that--judging by the speed of that large Chaos aura--was soon to be four.

At first, Buddingtonite was insulted that Serpentine, his friend, his partner, had the nerve to tell him to shut up, and it shown in his angered quiver. He wanted to stomp his foot and push the lieutenant around to get his point across, and it was clear that he had completely missed the concerning undertones of his friend's action. If he had known, he would have silenced himself, and maybe even have noticed the approaching energy signatures sooner than he did. "No, I will not, Serpentine! Whereas Zinkenite and Howlite run their branches as though it were a serious business, this little nit treats it like a fantasy novel! I may treat life as a game, but I'm not the leader of an entire branch, now am I?!"
He was so frustrating, but what could he do? He was merely letting off steam, and he knew that he was no match for Apatite. He knew he shouldn't have been mouthing off, at least not in front of Mica, but he simply had to let it out or he'd explode, and unlike Serpentine, he had little desire for blood this evening.
Which made the energy signatures he felt all the harder to cope with. Despite the rank difference between them, Buddingtonite was the last to react to the sudden appearance of Order aura on his radar, and whereas Mica merely sat back and his friend looked eager to strike, he made a clear objection. "Uh, no, Serpentine... that feels like an Eternal, and I've been attacked by enough of those to know better. And so should you!"But it was too late. Serpentine had handed off the victim to the reluctant captain, and Mica could find no fault in either of their reactions. As cowardice as it may have been, Buddingtonite had a point, and she made sure to address the one she had just taken under her wings, even as she removed herself from the bench and joined his side. "Eternals have earned their wings through hard work and dedication, but they fall just like any other. We merely have to go about this fight wisely."
She took charge of the situation, and quick. While she could feel a General approaching, she was the senior officer of this trio, and as much as she wanted to throw both of them at the Eternal and watch them duke it out, she saw wisdom in Serpentine's strategy. "Buddingtonite, whatever you do, keep draining him. Don't engage unless I or the approaching general order you to."
Then, she looked at Serpentine, and as delighted as she was to see him eager for battle, she wasn't willing to see him get himself killed. Not when he could have been useful later. "There's another one, a smaller presence, but likely equally as dangerous. Keep your eyes on that one, and leave the Eternal to me. Is that understood?"
She knew that whichever general was approaching them could have easily overturned her orders, but for now, she was in charge, and she wouldn't give quarter to either her allies, nor the enemies that were closing in.Quicksilver the Archangel

Yes, the group of three would soon be a collection of four. The General was making good time. Jumping and running his short legs carried him quickly as he closed the distance between himself and the other three. He would be there before that Eternal senshi if he had it his way.
He could feel at least two Captains amongst the group and wondered if they would be engaging the eternal, he had no issue with it. Feeling it might even help them both, especially if they were newly promoted Captains. it wasn't that he didn't want to get into the fight, he would if he had to. But if it could become training for two Captains than he'd prefer that, and simply stand in the background watching and making sure the two Captain's didn't get all that hurt - or lose the fight. Yes, he could do that and hang in the background like death waiting to swoop in from the wings and take away someones life. Not to say that he was death but the analogy worked well enough.
As he took to the grass his boots hit hard as he picked up his pace, pushing himself to move faster. He didn't want this senshi beating him to the three officers. He was further away than either of the big signatures closing in on the three smaller ones. But the senshi was trying to close in on the location as quickly as he could. He was by no means as fast as the eternal or the general. But he was trying to put his best effort into getting there. He really didn't like that she was heading into this alone. Someone else had to show up! He knew with the message she'd sent that he wouldn't be enough to help her.
Should he try this phone as well and send out a message as well? Biting his bottom lip he flipped it open and wondered if he could send out some general alert...to like any senshi in the area? Shaking his head he sent a message instead to the senshi he'd gotten the message from. Letting her know he was on the way but he was by no means strong enough to help a much. And asked if anyone else was coming.
Hitting the send button on his phone as he continued running. Normally he'd be winded by now and have a stitch in his side but he didn't, he knew this first hand from how many times a single lap around a track would get to him. He'd never been good at gym and had skipped it whenever he could. Maybe he should have put more of an effort into gym back in high school? Maybe now he should do something? It couldn't hurt - right? Serpentine looked back at Buddingtonite's expression of fear at the thought of an Eternal Senshi. Yes, the lieutenant knew that rank, courtesy of Remarque. But if the newly promoted officer thought that would make him stand down... he was mistaken. Perhaps he was afraid that he could not protect him anymore? "Don't worry; you won't have to do a thing." He tightly nodded to Mica to indicate that he had heard her orders. No sooner had she given them then the lieutenant began to dash off towards the smaller of the two energy signatures. He would leave the more powerful to Mica and the unknown, approaching general. == Pasiphae glanced down at her phone, and her eyes widened. Chaldene had been the one to respond... and she could not, in good conscience, ask him to fight in such a dangerous situation! She quickly typed back a reply, short but truthful. 'Unsure. Please, stay away. Dangerous.'She took a deep breath and called upon her attack, "*Pasiphae Social Stigma!" Only once the marroon energy shields were in place around the potential victims did she emerge from her cover, her fists raised. With any luck... she could make the playing field more even before Chaldene arrived, if he insisted on coming. Or others would be on their way too. With four Chaos forces on the loose and actively attacking the innocent... the Eternal could not flee. No matter how outnumbered she was. * Social Stigma - Defensive The most powerful attack, Social Stigma allows the energy shield to exist for a longer period of time, anywhere from 45 seconds to 60 seconds depending on the amount and intensity of attacks absorbed. The energy shield can now activate around up to four people, including Sailor Pasiphae. Whoever Sailor Pasiphae shields will find their mobility restricted and unable to attack as long as the shield lasts.
In addition to shielding up to four people, whenever the weapon/her attacker comes into physical contact with her shield, it induces an overwhelming sensation of shame which can actively affect the enemy for as long as the shield lasts.
NOTE: How each opponent experiences this shame differs based on their personality. For example, a proud warrior might feel shame at attacking a purely defensive opponent, whereas a chivalrous guy might feel shame for attacking a girl.
--Drawbacks - Only works on 4 people Only works for a limited amount of time Reduces mobility, making it impossible to attack as long as the shield lasts Can be broken by a powerful enough attack/multiple lesser attacks

While the other two were brave enough to face the threat, Buddingtonite continued to drain the civilian and had his other hand on his crystal, sensing the approaching general and calling to whoever it may be. "This is Captain Buddingtonite, and I'd greatly appreciate it if we had a little back up. We got two of those pesky Senshi on the way, and one's Eternal..."
He looked to see Serpentine following after Mica, and he snapped, failing to cut off his crystal before shouting to him.
"I am very serious! Let Mica take care of the Eternal! Don't brush off my advise!" Buddingtonite snarled when Serpentine moved to stand next to Mica, but he knew he couldn't stop him, even if he tried to physically restrain him. His reassurance didn't make Buddingtonite feel any better, and he gave a shake of his head as he spat below his breath. "Won't have to do a thing? Right! Since when did I ever get that lucky? Why, I'm absolutely certain that before the night it through, I'll be feeling the effects of another Eternal's attack, and let me tell you, I'm getting quite-"
"Pasiphae Social Stigma!"
Buddingtonite looked up and repeated the phrase, right as a shield materialized around his victim and brushed against his arms and hands, sending an unfamiliar but unwanted sensation throughout his body. "Pasiphae social whatnow!?"
He had felt shame before, though it was such a scarce emotion in Buddingtonite's repertoire that he pretty much forgot the sensation until it was running rampant throughout his body. And while there were a million things to feel shame for, it was the most recent event that caused him the most turmoil. He recalled Serpentine's short temper and how he had cut him off from his complaints, and what he had suspected was the truth but had pushed aside was back and rearing its ugly head. "He... he was only looking out for me... and I snapped at him like that!" ---- Had Mica not known better, she would have turned around to see what Buddingtonite was going on about. Not that she really cared, but even if she was, she wasn't too worried. Like her 'landlord', she didn't recognize the attack but she did recognize the face that summoned the attack, and Mica wore a snide grin at the sight of the Eternal senshi.
"Oh, it's you." Mica spoke the words like a cat that had just found a mouse. She may not have known this Senshi's name before this night, but she knew it now, and though she had changed, she could never forget her face. Not one that she preferred when it was struck with fear and pain when she was so close to taking her starseed so many, many months ago. "Seems you've grown a little since we last met. I wonder... if your cries will be the same."
Perhaps it was foolish of her to charge at the Eternal senshi, but she knew this one. She was meek, weak, pathetic... determined but not a fighter. She relayed her order to Serpentine, not at all paying attention to Buddingtonite's sobbing as she charged forward with her spear. "Take care of the other one when he arrives. This one is mine.."Quicksilver the Archangel

Would he make it in time? Would he beat the senshi there? These thoughts ran though his head as he hurried toward those chaos signatures. He was sure that three of them could handle a single eternal and normal senshi, but he didn't care to take the risk. He wouldn't risk them and so he had his crystal out, ready to let them know how close he was, when he heard a familiar voice on the other end. Buddingtonite. Someone he knew. He wasn't sure if that was good or not, though he did know the red head had a thing for fighting.
But wait..Buddingtonite had called himself a Captain? Since when? Interest raised he brought his crystal up to his mouth to speak into it. "Captain, good to hear your voice. This is General Benitoite, I'm on the way. I can sense what's there and on the way. He'd have asked for more information but something seemed to be happening, something he wasn't meant to hear? At least that's what he assumed from the sound of things. Who was going after the eternal? A Lieutenant? Mica he knew was a Captain and he knew Buddingtonite was. So that left the Lieutenants signature. Was a Lieutenant really going after an eternal? That was dangerous to put it mildly. And not knowing which one, what powers they had, he didn't like the dreadful feeling which filled him.
"I don't plan to let you feel the effects of any eternals attacks - I assure you Captain." He finally spoke, letting the other know he'd heard him. If I have to take the attack myself." He added after a moment." His crystal held tightly in one gloved hand as he finally came upon the scene. He knew this senshi and as he saw her attack and the Captain fall victim to it he wondered, briefly, what would happen? her attack was a shield...right?
Taking in the scene, Mica charging the eternal, Serpentine to handle the normal, lowly, senshi on the way. He went to Buddingontite to handle the downed Captain. "You need to gather yourself. Do not let her attack, whatever it is, keep hold of you." He knew this senshi, had fought her, and really wouldn't mind going after her again. He might have even if Mica didn't seem intent upon this eternal senshi.[ When Chaldene finally arrived it was to a scene which had him wanting to turn and run away, he didn't want to fight. But it appeared he would be needing to do just that. The feeling of darkness from the four individuals told him that he was not only out numbered but that these four held more power than him, save but one. He didn't like these odds, not in the slightest bit.
But he stayed, stared at the scene, he had no choice. He couldn't leave Pasiphae on her own and no one else was here yet - if anyone else was even going to show up. He really did hope someone else showed up, he didn't think he could handle this on his own.Quicksilver the Archangel

Pasiphae's breath caught in her throat, and she began to walk back even before the leather-clad captain rushed forward. She did not bother with thinking how it couldn't be--because it was. The Senshi could never forget that face, that voice, that spear with crystalline tip... and she began to shudder uncontrollably as she remembered greedy, grasping fingers within her chest and touching... Mica. She had tried to kill Harper. Had sent Penelope to the hospital. The scar, mostly hidden by her maroon caplet, was a physical mark of their meeting that she would never forget, could not forget no matter how she tried. After Painite... Mica was the biggest of her bogeymen. The appearance of Benitoite only made matters worse! Two of her worst enemies--one from her past, and one that followed her around in each conflict, it seemed, a reminder of her fault in not being able to spare him due to a burst of temper. Add in two more Negaverse officers, and suddenly the situation made her knees weak. She had never fought so many alone... and Chaldene was coming oh god. "Chaldene... run!" They were the only words she could choke out before she leapt to try and avoid the oncoming spear. == Had Serpentine looked back, his concern for his partner would have been obvious. Buddingtonite rarely seemed ashamed of anything, much less a little showing of his temper. But the lieutenant did not look back. Instead, he charged forward towards the weaker of the two Senshi. Male. White and blue clothes. No idea of what powers he might possess. Even if he had known, it would not have mattered. The green-and-gold clad lieutenant lived for the fight. He swung a fist directly for the male Senshi.

The arrival of General Benitoite was initially comforting to the captain, but try as he might he couldn't shake off the effects of Pasiphae's spell. He tried to latch onto the general's words and soak in his presence alone, but any thought or emotion that didn't involve this crippling shame was simply crushed, broken down into fuel, and fed to that growing shame. And Buddingtonite, and Richard, had a lot to feel for...
"I am... sorry, General..." Buddingtonote managed to grind out the words, and if anything, Benitoite's strong words only made it worse! He was a Captain now! He had no business to be allowing such a display of emotions get the better of him, and what was worse was that he was dragging a general down with him. He couldn't handle this. He wanted to flee, and he would have, if that thought wouldn't have made this feeling in him even worse. "I'm trying... I just..."
He wallowed for a moment more, grabbing his head and trying desperately to block out anymore dirty laundry that tried to rub itself in his face. This was worse than all of these haunting feelings striking while he tried to sleep!Mica hardly paid attention to Benitoite's arrival and with good reason. She was in it for the kill and she was eager to finish what she started many, many moons ago. With the general there, he could take care of Buddingtonite, and with Serpentine focusing on the other Senshi, she could give Pasiphae her full and undivided attention.
She thought it was brave of her opponent to face her once again, even more so when she cried for Chaldene to leave. Not that she'd expect him to listen, given that most of these White Moon sheep were disgustingly loyal when it was bothersome to her.
Her victim managed to dodge the first attempt, but that wouldn't stop Mica from trying again and again. While she was content to make her fights silent and to the point, she made an exception for this one, her voice curt yet cold. "Did it scar over? May I see?"Quicksilver the Archangel Next round should be good for the effects to wear off, right?

Oh it wasn't because she had attacked him that he followed her about like some devil dressed in the fineries of a wealthy person. No, it was because she was a senshi and she seemed to be right there where he was. It was poor luck on her part, not that he minded in the least. Her poor luck was his good luck. Seeing as Mica seemed to have the eternal senshi handled, for now, he stood at Buddingtonite's side in order to protect him while he was down, and to break him of the spell the senshi had on him.
"It's fine. Focus on calming yourself and ridding yourself of her attack." As he knelt down at the Captain's side, coat and cape pooling around him as he knelt there. His back to the fight starting, his attention on the Captain right now. "She's strong, an eternal, her attack will no doubt be hard to fight. It's strong, as she is." A glance over his shoulder to check on the fights starting. "It seems both of our fellow officers are doing well. You have time to regroup." Resting a gloved hand on the others shoulder. "Once your over her spell we should watch - for now. Let Mica and Serpentine have their fights." He spoke with a bit of a smile in place. If anything went wrong he was sure between himself and Buddingtonite it could be set back on the right track, them winning this night. "No! I'm not leaving you!" He shouted out just as he was ducking under a fist aimed for his face. This really wasn't like those spars he'd participated in. This was an immediate punch aimed for the face and aggressive start to things. This was why he wanted to avoid these sorts of things. But he couldn't avoid this fight, he couldn't stick the eternal with this whole fight. He just had to hold on and hope someone else turned up to help.
Aiming his own punch for the green and gold clad lieutenant he hoped to connect, and yet at the same time he didn't want to hurt him. God he hated this whole thing.Quicksilver the Archangel

Sleet Tempest Snape With all of Serpentine's hits/Chaldene's possible hits to it, you can have the shield fall in your next post if you want. ChibiGingi Yep, the emotional effects should be all free from Buddy durlin' in your next post. Pasiphae did not trust herself to answer Mica's taunt. The Captain had to know that a wound of that depth would scar physically, as a gripped starseed would scar mentally. If Chaldene would not run on his own...then he would need to be protected until she counf a way for the both of them to flee together. It was a struggle to call upon another magical attack this soon, but she could think of no other option. "*Pasiphae Social Pariah!" A lone shield formed around the less experienced Senshi, but as a result Pasiphae found herself panting for breath. It was becoming harder and harder to avoid Mica's blows--and it was only a matter of time before one struck her or one (or both!) of the non-fighting Negaverse joined the fray. She needed a plan. Fast. == Serpentine's aim was true enough, but his hand struck only the energy shield. The shame that trickled through him was much smaller than what his partner had recently experienced... but shame was not an emotion in which he wished to indulge. It enflamed him, made him drive his fist again and again into the maroon barrier. He was ashamed of himself for being the only lieutenant on this field of battle. Ashamed that he could not absorb energy as naturally, or easily, as his cohorts. Ashamed from the recent meeting. And he took out these emotions blow for blow.

Whether it was General Benitoite's strong words and presence or just the effects of the spell wearing off, Buddingtonite wasn't sure, but he was certainly grateful when the spell's grip finally began to wane. His shoulders grew lax and his breathing, which was once short and frantic, had slowed, and by the time all of the effects of the spell were gone, the shame that Buddingtonite did feel was natural, and manageable. He looked to the blonde-haired general and flashed him an embarrassed but genuine, as he apologized for what he hoped would be the last time. "My apologies, General... I hope never for you to have to see that pathetic display again. Damn Senshi and their stupid feels attack!"
He took Benitoite's advice and while he was no longer trapped in the grip of the emotional turmoil he once was, he lingered back to watch the flow of the fight. Mica was moving exactly how he expected her to move against the one that had raised the shields, while Serpentine was waylaying on one of the shields, trying to get to the Senshi that was protected behind it. And whereas he was crippled with shame, his friend seemed to be letting it fuel him, and now it was his turn to express his concern. "Permission to pull Serpentine back to his senses, Benitoite?"
Not that it would have been the best of moves, given the incensed state he was in, but he felt that someone had to keep the lieutenant safe. If not him, then perhaps Benitoite? "You're wasting your time," Mica said, watching as the Eternal threw another shield at her ally but continued to leave herself completely open and at the mercy of her spear. She would have found the act honorable, if not foolish, but she was in no mood for words. Not when they didn't invoke the fear that she once thought it would.
Mica gave another swing, her strikes more sporadic and random as opposed to the precise and calculated jabs and stabs. This Eternal was scared, obviously, but she was quick, and resilient, and Mica was afraid to admit that she was starting to grow increasingly frustrated that she couldn't seem to land a blow. She knew that Benitoite was there, but she'd refuse to call to him for assistance, nor allow anyone else but herself to finish what she started on this one. She lunged forward, hoping to drive her spear right though that shoulder once more and her shout betrayed her once calm and cool facade, "You're mine!"Quicksilver the Archangel

Watching as Buddingtonite was let go of by the senshi's strong magical attack he smiled. "It's good to see the spell has worn off." It meant that there were now two capable officers in the background waiting to jump in if needed, if somehow more senshi turned up or if things went south for Mica or Serpentine. He doubted this battle, as it stood now, would turn in the senshi's favor but one never could be certain so he stood waiting and ready. For now he stood without his weapon but should the need arise it would be summoned. "I dislike the emotional attacks as well, to be at the mercy of your own mind. But there are some physical attacks I do dislike just as much. You should watch out for Ganymede....red, white and black uniform with blond hair. They're eternal and their attack is something not to be trifled with. I'd rank them above this senshi and put them on par with Kallichore." And Kallichore was a senshi's who's attack he couldn't handle one bit.
Glancing from Buddingontite, as the Captain made his request, and than to the Lieutenant he shook his head. "Leave him. he's not being hurt by the shield and it's a low level senshi he's after. Lets see how he does.It should be fine though." But if it came to it he'd let Buddingtonite handle the Lieutenant. He would remain waiting to see if that eternal senshi gave Mica too hard of a time. Hidden behind the safety of a maroon color shield the senshi clad in white and blues stood and watched the anger of the Lieutenant be taken out on the shield. If that shield went down and one of those fists hit him...no - he didn't want to think about that.
he had to help and he had to do something, something to help himself and Pasiphae as she had helped him. She was risking herself, opening herself up to attack, and he couldn't just leave her having to shield him at her own suffering. As the guilt came upon him and hit him like a tidal wave he felt words, a phase, forming in his mind and grasping hold of the words.
"Chaldene Whisp Lure." One hand had come up, hand and fingers configured like a gun, the tip of which was near to his lips. Blowing gently little blue wisps of energy left his finger tip and headed for the one who was intent upon beating him, the green and gold clad agent of chaos. He had no idea what this would do he hoped it didn't harm him, but he needed to do something! Quicksilver the Archangel So you don't need to look it up Sailor Scout Attack: Chaldene Whisp Lure. Raising his hands, much like a child would when imitating a gun with their hands, Chaldene blows at the tip sending little wisps of blue energy at his opponent. These little wisps of energy would appear to do nothing at first, as they'd vanish upon "impact" with the opponent. But then the opponent would start seeing a wisp of light just in their peripheral and it would last twenty seconds. This wisp flashing in and out of being and in slightly different places, it would certainly be enough to distract most people. And that's all it is - a distraction, a distraction which can be used twice per battle.
If Chaldene is attacked the spell is broken and if the opponent is attacked it breaks the spell as well, snapping their attention to where it needs to be, for obvious reasons. If someone attacks the wisp it does nothing, the wisp will simply reform - it is after all just a wisp of light that vanishes and reappears anyway.
