"Getting better Shang, but you've really got to put more force behind it. Don't be afraid to hit him. Seriously, you're really not going to hurt me too bad. I promise." Maia spoke to Shangri-la while still dogging the punches he aimed at her abdomen.
She watched as her brother frowned, but nodded though he still continued to hold back, though she was certain he wouldn't be able to really hurt her. She really couldn't judge since he was really restrained. She frowning dodging a kick before dropping down and swinging out a leg to try to knock her brother off his feet. He quickly jumped to avoid it and she smiled because it was hard to get him with that move, but she sprung up following his jump with a punch with connected with his side making him stumble.
He reached out grabbing her blindly, but quickly took advantage of the hold getting a foot behind her and pushing her so she tripped backward landing on her butt. She tumbled over into a crouching position before springing again, this time lunging at his legs and knocking over with her momentum. Shang went down with a grunt and sat just looking at Maia for a moment.
"I think that's enough for tonight. You're getting better Shang, maybe you'll be able to beat me soon. You should do a quick patrol, probably around the park and head home."
Her brother left with a nod, but she could hear him grumbling about how he was the eldest, but she just shook his head and smiled. Every sparring match she had with him gave her a little assurance as to how he might do in a 'real' fight and she couldn't say she wasn't proud. It was the same with Lassell.

Paroling and what not still didn't quite make sense to Isha. What was he supposed to do if he DID come across something suspicious? It wasn't as if his walls could honestly do that much of damage against someone. Pin them and run? How cowardly would that be? And it wasn't as if the people in his phone, or person rather, could get her in enough time to do something effective against an enemy. As nice as she was, and as hard as she tried.. The last time they had encountered something trying to kill them, she didn't seem to really know what she was doing.
"Geebus.." A foot came down to squash another mushroom yokai that had been roaming this part of the park for a while. He didn't quite understand how mushrooms, so cute and tiny and adorable could be so dangerous. If it weren't for that fact that he had been specifically warned about these cute little monstrosities, he'd probably collect them and keep them locked up to admire at some other time.. But the poor things met with his foot, leaving nothing behind once their untimely demise.
The mushroom managed his final revenge; as Avior's foot came down, the little one managed to shift just enough to destroy the boy's balance, sending him sliding down the hill without control. He managed not to fall, instead skidding to a stop by grabbing low branches on his way down. When he did finally manage to stop, there was someone quite lovely before him, looking slightly sassy. Hopefully he had not completely embarrassed himself.
"I.. I uh.. Sorry about that. You know.. Squishy ground and what not."

Maia turned looking toward the sound, not terribly wary because she didn't sense any chaos signatures. It was surprising to see a boy senshi slide to a halt in front of her. She blinked down at him and gave a small smile, "yes I guess that could be quite a problem if you're not use to it. I spend a lot of time in the park though, so I'm okay with squishy ground."
She held out her hand, smile still in place on her face,"I'm Sailor Maia. It's very nice to meet you. Uh you weren't looking for me were you?". She loved meeting new senshi because she tended to be able to help them in some way or another.
Of late it was a more common occurrence, for other's to seek her out, even with those she didn't know. Her signature could be felt fairly well from a distance, so she often got new and curious droppers by.

So she was another Senshi.. It was rather odd to him; there was so much talk about an enemy that was so violent and evil and what not, but he had yet to meet any such of these people. Did they even exist? He gasped to himself for a moment, thinking that maybe.. Senshi could actually be those that were wish to harm him and this world he lived in, but just incognito.. Like they were actually part of the Negaverse, just pretending to be Senshi. If that were the case, he sensed nothing negative around here, no, it was all peaceful. His imagination must have just been running rampant again.
Avior gave the hand a look, weary for just a moment, before grinning and giving it a firm squeeze, and saluting her slightly afterwards. She was such a lovely lady, that she was! And Her name, even just her Senshi name, was lovely as well! It could have been mistaken for her real name quite easily, though surely it couldn't have been that easy.
"I'm Avior, nice to meet you! And.. No, not quite, though should I have been? Are you someone of.. Um.. Significance in this matter? N-not being rude! No, I mean.. You seem powerful, I thought I felt something strong, but I honestly kinda ended up here by accident. I don't have the best footwork or handiwork or any type of work, to be honest. Still kinda knew to this whole business."

Maia almost frowned at the weary look he gave her, but after he took her hand and gave her a salute she was sufficiently mollified. She blinked, however, at his set of questions, her cheeks coloring slightly.
Was she of significance, possibly in some ways, but his questions told her maybe she made herself sound a little haughty. "No, I'm sorry it's quite alright. I didn't mean to sound self important. It's just that I feel stronger than most, powerful as you put it and other's tend to seek out the source is all. It's perfectly fine if you didn't and you'll gain surer footwork over time."
She gave a small nod to him thinking on how to answer the rest of his questions, "as to significance, I would say possible in that I've been doing this for four years and know my way around this war. I can offer a lot of information to those just coming into this and I offer sparring sessions to teach other how to fight in a safer setting. I've even held a large group session. But if you mean does everyone know my name and am I a threat to other side, not necessarily."

"Nope, nope, I didn't think you were coming out self important. You feel strong, you look strong, you look lovely! You just gush out radiance, from what I I can sense!" She was a very pretty girl, not that he was hitting on her. Nope, she was just pretty, and when he saw something that caught his eye, he wasn't going to just let it slip past him without admiring it first! "You can offer information..? Yes, If you have time, I could use some more information about everything. The only thing I understand is that.. There are bad things around that are trying to steal our souls, and I have to kill them. The whole.. Negaverse thing, or seeing any humanoid bad guys.. I have yet to come across anything like that. Heck, I don't even know what I'm doing half the time.." Avior's honesty was rare, that was for certain, as lies tended to come out near automatically. He just couldn't help it, but today, with someone he could revere as much more knowledgeable with this chaos thing, all he could offer up were honest questions and excitement.
He could feel the pressure of something malicious drawing near.. Was he in battle mode yet, nope, but this is an opportunity to learn!
"Seems like there's one of those monsters nearby.. Mind showing me how it's done? And I can show you how I go too! Maybe I could get some pointers~!"

"Thank you," she said softly, "I like to think I resonate, much like my songs when I sing."
Maia couldn't help, but to frown at the boys admissions. This is what she didn't like to hear. She didn't want to hear that they were running around without understanding and without any clue exactly what it was they were doing. Maia nodded, "that's not good. We can't have you running about like a chicken with it head cut off or at least I think that is a appropriate saying."
She smiled at his apparent enthusiasm and paused when she felt a youma come into the area. It was often that it happened to her anymore for whatever odd reason, or maybe she was just always to busy to notice, but she couldn't help that note that for all Avior didn't know, he did know it was a youma that approached and not a negaverser.
"I can definitely help you with that," she said turning and motioning for him to follow her. "It feels like its not to far away, a little deeper into the park though."

Honestly, he could not tell the difference between a youma and a negaveser as he had never met one. No, all he knew truly was that these creatures preyed on the weak, on the young, and he could not allow that! Not when his family ran about!
"Off to the park we go then. After this is done, I'd be so grateful to have your help if I have time!" Knowing that he could destroy one more youma brought him great excitement. Not because he loved the thrill of the fight, not at all, the very thought of fighting scared him an immense amount. It was the thought that perhaps, with one more youma gone, his family was that much safer. That was who mattered right now.. Those that he actually loved.

"You have have my help whenever you need it. I am usually here. All you need to do is come," she said with a soft smile, "all the help you need. Now lets dust this youma."
Maia lead the way closer to the middle of the park, but not all the way there and sure enough terrorizing a young pair of teenage girls was a youma. The were crying as the youma towered over them, a large humanoid bird, but the thing, whatever it was appeared to be made entirely out of wood. It could have been a football mascot, possibly even hazing, but Maia knew better. She could feel the youma's aura and the girl's were screaming and trying to break free of splinters of would that had them pinned to a large tree.
Maia looked to Avior, "be very careful," she said pointing the girl, "that youma could stick you to a tree like that." She paused for moment, but only a moment," what I'm about to do might make it a bit mad, but it will give us a minute to free the girl's so they won't be in the cross fire. So get the first girl and I'll free the other."
She gave a nod. She ran out and called out her attack, "Sweet Harmony." The music filled her and she sang the notes into existance, a tornado of opaque rainbow colored notes rushing at the youma and pelting him into slowed motion, nearly not motion.
Maia wasted no time getting to her girl, "we've got you. Just hold on and I'll get you free."Cooro Cooro Her attack effect last one minute.

"What if I need your help and I can't make it? Can you come to me?" As he softly asked this, he finally saw the monster that was threatening the girls. For the first time, he actually saw such a monster attack someone. Normally, when he encountered them, they were roaming about. And they were tiny. So very tiny. Not like this monstrosity before them. He could feel his heart drop into his stomach, and fear grasped him What could he even do..
Maia's words brought little comfort, especially when she said there was a potential to make the creature mad. He had no idea if he could handle this! And yet.. The monster went nearly still.
"Astonishing... O-OH! Right!" As she ran to her girl, he did too, pulling the splinters out as quickly as he could. The minute was more than enough time to do so.
"Run! Go home! And STAY THERE." He shouted to her, giving her a shove towards the opposite direction of the monster, out of the park. Once she was on her way, he quickly turned back to Maia.
"N-now what..? I can only summon walls.. A-and for ten seconds!"

Maia nodded at his question, if he needed help, she would definitely come to him, there was no question there. She wouldn't leave the other in harms way, that wasn't how she operated. She wasn't that type of person.
Avior's complement was met with a huge grin and before freed the terrified girl, pulling away splinter after splinter from bark on the tree she was trapped on. The girl pleas of hurry and please making her utter small reassurance, until the girl was freed.
Maia found arms flung around her, and thank you's on repeat as she pulled the girl away, "Get out of here and stay of the park and overly dark places at night, it 's dangerous. You belong at home."
The girl scurried after her friend with a nod and Maia was sure the girl would be home bound for a least a few night before she was bold again. Briefly she wondered if the girl would one day awaken to the magic she had, that if it had of been a cat that happened upon the girls would they being defeating the youma now.
In her musing she almost missed Avior's words only tuning in for walls and ten seconds before she had one of the bow wings shredded by a barage of splinters, making her jump with a shout.
"Right now, we avoid the splinters until we can get a good attack on him," she said jumping as more splinters were sprayed in both other there directions. "Can you make, uh summon the wall more that once?"

"Y-yeah! I can summon it.. I think twice?" He honestly wasn't sure.. during battles he had before, the most he could pull up before it was over or he ran away was two. Maybe there was potential to summon another one, but with two, he was already exhausted.
"A-ahh!!" There was barely time to duck when a barrage of splinters came hurling his way, and he thanked his lucky star for goggles, lest his eyes be covered in wood and blinded! There were a few sticking out of his face, but nothing damaging.. it stung like the dickens though!
"What do you have in mind to beat it? Do you have anything else we can do?" It was a park afterall. Maybe he could find a big enough branch to beat it til it shattered to dust.

Maia nodded from behind a tree she ducked behind to avoid another barrage of splinters, "Twice is good. You will need to do it twice. I've got an idea because I do not really see anything around to dust it with," she shouted out.
She looked to the youma only to have to drop down after nearly getting a very large splinter to the face. She felt it zip through her hair and her heart rate jumped up quite a bit. "I'm coming over," she shouted before jumping to her feet and running as fast as she could over to the boy.
"Bring the wall up," she said quickly and got ready to use her stronger attack. She had an idea stomping around her head, slightly complicated on her end, but it beat looking for a weapon or trying to beat a wooden youma with a stick. Not a very good idea in general.
The wall was mostly for their protection in the first part while she attacked to slow the youma down. If she stood back the wall would disappear and her notes would swarm the youma before it had the chance to rain splinters down upon them.

"W-wait, what?!" There was no time to think as the girl nearly threw herself over to where he was, a ways away and semi out of sight of the monster. What in the world was she thinking, she could have been pegged! Then again, she was much stronger than he was. She probably could make it out in one piece far more easily than he could.
There was no confirmation about what he was to do, it was simply done, and in front of them spouted out a huge wall from where he had hit the ground. It was faintly red, but just barely so, and was very much see-through. The monster seemed to snarl at the lack of access to the senshi, shooting more splinters that simply bounced off the wall leaving no mark. That wouldn't be the case for very long though..
"N-now what? TEN SECONDS!" Such a brief amount of time hardly allowed for him to give any further explanation. He supposed such was the way battles worked.

Maia watched as the wall went up fairly impressed and gave him a thumbs up. "My turn, don't let the notes touch you. It will make you feel sluggish," she explained quickly before calling out her attack. She wanted to time it just right.
"Absolute Harmony," she called allowing the music to fill her before the rainbow colored opaque noted were sand into existing swirling and moving out away from her.
They moved toward the wall and Maia felt anxious not thinking the wall would disappear before the notes reach it, but the last moment it disappeared to reveal the youma who seemed ready to jump over the wall, but now found inself ensconced in music notes pelting it and slowing it down.
Maia grinned at the other senshi, "we've got about three minutes now, its pretty much frozen for that time frame. Usually I would find something lying around, like a branch or rock and hit it, to dust it, literally. However, the youma looks to be wooden so I'm not sure a branch would quite work."
"You wall might though. I can make a bridge of sorts while I am singing, do you think you can pull up the wall on that? If you can as soon as she get it up, I will stop singing and the bridge will disappear and will have to jump, but the wall will drop too. Right on top of the youma, okay?"
