Junjie and Abellio were roaming Ayr again, this time with a task that was a lot more intimidating then just finding the Ayrala and getting a feel for the landscape. He needed to go out, needed to find an Ayrala, and he needed to bring back the creature's orb. Looking down at Abellio he gave a bit of a sigh, "You really should have stayed behind with the Sage." He told him as they walked. He was going to be left behind again, to stay where he would be safe, but this time around it seemed as though the little Keinling wasn't having it. Instead he'd thrown one hell of a fit, growling, kicking, and snarling, all while knocking things over. It the Sage ended up tossing the Keinling out and Abellio was quick to chase after Junjie, not allowing the boy to leave him alone again. When the boy was only supposed to get a feel for the hand or peek at the Ayrala he was alright with staying behind. The moment that the Sage said that Junjie was supposed to face off with an Ayrala then it was no longer alright, it was as far from right as possible, and Abellio wasn't having it.
There were plenty of Ayrala out there to be had, enough that it was a little on the intimidating side, but he wasn't going to let that scare him. He had to do this, he wanted to impress the one who was acting as his teacher. He would get the Orb, bring it back, and then his next task would be assigned to him. Each step forward he took the stronger he would become, then the day would arrive in which he was able to attain the status of Ysali Dovaa, "Let's see what we can do." He murmured, "It won't be so bad, I was able to defeat a few Ysali after all so surely I can deal with an Ayrala." He just hoped that it wasn't the big, scarred up one that he had met with a short time ago. He didn't want to deal with something so big and intimidating in his first battle, maybe once he was feeling stronger? Or perhaps if he was allowed to team up with Tilawen for a battle. He felt as though they would be stronger together then they would be alone, it just depended on if the Sage would allow the two of them to go out together. Maybe it would be a challenge for later?
"I wonder where all of the..." He as about to ask where the Ayrala had all gone when there was a snarl from up above as one of them was circling around, seeming to answer his question before he'd even had time to ask it, "A-Ah... well that explains where they are..." He murmured, stepping to place himself between Abellio and the Ayrala. The Ayrala were more tricky then the Ysali were he thought to himself a moment before the battle with the hissing creature began...

The battle was an exhausting on, made even more so by the fact that he was also defending the little Keinling, keeping him forever between away from the Ayrala's slashing claws and snapping jaws. It was good training in a way, it allowed him to do what he really wanted to do, which was to keep those he cared for safe. It made him think that if he were to go out with Tilawen that he would be able to keep her safe... provided she allowed it. It was hard to read her but he didn't quite think that 'damsel in distress' really suited her. Still, maybe she would allow him to keep her safe if the need for it arose.
When the final blow against the dragon was stuck and it went down, crumbling away into nothing more then bones and a silver colored orb the boy squatted down, panting heavily, clutching tightly onto the walking stick that he'd used to fight the creature, "Wow... that was... tiring..." He panted, turning to look over at Abellio who was sitting alongside him. Giving a smile Jun leaned into him, giving a smile, then let his eyes sink closed. The boy rested there for a moment before he finally opened his eyes again, looking over toward the orb, sighing a bit, "Come on, Abellio. We have our orb. We should go and talk with the Sage again, see what he wants us to do next." A nap would be nice, he wondered if he could get one of those. Maybe, maybe not... the man seemed a bit strict when it came to training, but the orb would likely buy him a bit of down time if only to give the big man a chance to figure out what he wanted Junjie to do next.
Scooping up the orb Junjie motioned to Abellio to follow him as the two of them started back toward where the Sage was waiting for them to return.
