THE PLOT!
Note: I have a lot more information on this plot than just what is listed here. But you'd be sitting here for an hour just reading if I were to include every little detail. So I'll quickly summarize the minor parts, and include the major parts. If you win, I will PM you a larger, more detailed version.
Background Information: Blessita & Umojani'Jeuri were never able to have children up until this point. They tried & tried, but always failed. One day, Umo decided to find a medicine man to help them conceive, and left his mate. Blessita, on the other hand, heard of a wishing tree & went to find it to wish upon it for a child. It worked. Out of that wish came Giorgia.
Umo hadn't returned for a long while, so it drove Blessita into a deep depression. Because of that, Giorgia had to watch her mother suffer on a daily basis. She grew to hate the father that she had. When she was a young adult, she vowed to make him pay....
She had witnessed an attack on a Soquili as a young adult, and it awoke something inside of her - now she's on a bloodthirsty craze. Currently, she is running around the land with Bly by her side, trying to think of a way to kill her father, without lifting a hoof.
Main Plot: Blessita & Umo are finally having children! Seems all fine and dandy now, right? Wrong. Giorgia has found out that her parents have new children, and it upsets her. How dare her father be there for these kids, when he wasn't there for her. She'll go to them in the night & steal either 1 or 2 baskets (that's your choice!) so she can raise them to hate their father & want revenge against them for all the evil that he is.
1.) The basket(s) raised by Giorgia will also be raised by the stallion she's traveling with, Bly. He'll be manipulated into believing that she found random baskets, and he'll do the 'raising-up', while Giorgia teaches them, at night. He will have no knowledge of this. 2.) The basket(s) raised by Umo & Blessita will live a happy life with their parents, until Giorgia sets her siblings & her own children to find them & tell them of the evils of their father.
Eventually, when the sibling(s) that Giorgia took are old enough, she'll tell them to disappear until the 'time is ready'. So she'll never see them again until the day comes for her task to be completed. There is a side plot inserted here, now, for Baby Pandah & myself between an unwanted pregnancy in Giorgia & Bly...if you win, you'll know more about it, but it's unimportant to this specific part of the plot.
Anyway, fast forward. Giorgia's own foals are now in adulthood, so she sends them out to find her parent's other children, both the one(s) that she took & the one(s) that she left. Yes, that's right...the one(s) that she left will be kidnapped by his or her siblings & taken to Giorgia, where she will explain to all of them her plan. Whether or not they like it does not matter to her...she tells them they will participate, or she will have them murdered as well.
So the group of Soquili travel to find Blessita & Umo.
And then, long story short, Umojani will be attacked by one or more of the Soquili in the group & will not fight back because of his morals toward his family & his children.
HE WILL DIE. I repeat, UMOJANI WILL DIE!! By whom, I am not sure, but his life will end that day, and Giorgia will be satisfied enough & flee the group, never wanting to be seen again. Unless one of the Soquili follow her. (again, that's a choice left up to you! Want to do the killing? Want to follow her???)
From there on out is a bit foggy still, and I welcome any and all plots you feel will be awesome to add to the plot!
*Note: Blessita will end up spending the rest of her life with Bly*

THE FATHER: >>> He is hatred right down to it's very core. He tends not to attack unless provoked, but there is the occasional thirst for blood & he finds he cannot help himself. When he was a young foal, his small herd was viciously attacked and he, along with a few other foals, were the only survivors. Since then it's always been a case of 'I have to take care of myself otherwise I'll be killed' mentality, so Umo grew darker and darker as the years passed by. No one was ever quite so welcoming of him, so he learned to hate & be hated, and that solitude was the only way he'd ever manage to live successfully.
If you cross him, you'd better either have a good reason, or escape quickly, otherwise you may have to pay. Like stated before, he doesn't usually attack unless provoked, and Umo views being annoyed as an attack on his solitude, or there is a chance he'll get violent. And once it starts, it is very hard to control. However, despite all this negativity, he will protect what he deems worthy & true unless his dying breath....those he loves and cares for will never get hurt if he had any say in the matter.
Key Facts About Umojani'Jeuri: 1.) He loves children. LOVES them. He will never harm a child, be it his own or a stranger. Not once. In his eyes, children are innocent bystanders to the evils of this world, and can be easily manipulated. So he does not hold it against them.
2.) Blessita is the only mare in the world he has or ever will love. Umo never intended to find love, because it wasn't part of his plan, but when he found her, he could not shake her. He'll die with her name on his lips.
3.) He's killed 6 times. The first two times were accidents, and the rest were because he couldn't control his urges. Only 1 of the remaining 4, however, happened after he met Blessita. So he's slowly changing...
4.) Due to his love for his children & his mate, Umo will not fight back when it comes down to his death. He'll accept his fate willingly.
5.) His name means cruel & barbaric, and his herd (prior to their death) had a tradition of naming the newly born foals after different temperaments. Umo firmly believes that the name given will ultimately reflect how that Soquili will turn out - as it was the case for him & a few of his herdmates.THE MOTHER: >>> Blessita is a bit of a foal at heart, considering the fact that she was never quite raised properly, so she never quite learned the 'adult' way of life. She's grown up with the naive idea that everyone is innately good, or can be fixed when & if they need help. So, that being said, Blessita will do anything in her power to make everyone she meets a happy, friendly Soquili. This mare loves to be surrounded by anyone and everyone, because she views them all as a challenge & a friendly face.
She also has a thing for traveling, so it's difficult for her, at least in her younger years, to stay put for a long time. You give her a task, and she will not stop until it's completed. No challenge is too much for her. If you give her a hard time, she'll just playfully give you one back. A real tomboy, this mare!
Key Facts About Blessita: 1.) Her speech is off, meaning her words are shortened or pronounced weird, and her voice has a bit of a lisp to it. That does not, however, stop her from being herself - she sees it as a challenge to overcome.
2.) She wants nothing more than to start a family. Since the disaster with her eldest daughter, Giorgia, Blessita cannot help but feel like she owes it to herself to start again.
3.) Her children will always come first, no matter what that means. She loves her family & her mate....but her children will have come from within her and that, she believes, is a special bond no one can break. Now...what that means...? Who knows...
4.) Her mate will die, as the major part of this plot & she is intended to spend the rest of her days with Bly, the father of Giorgia's children, and his father, Cooper. She will be happy there, but will long for her first batch of children every day for the rest of her life.
5.) Adventures were always her main goal in life, until she realized how much motherhood meant to her. That being said, deep down inside, Blessita have and always will want to travel & explore the world. However, due to her mating & her predicament with her children, she chooses not to.
6.) She doesn't hold herself to a high standard. Sometimes it gets so bad that she intentionally demeans herself. Which means, she'll blame herself, and herself alone for what will happen to Umo & her family.THE 'SISTER': >>> Like her father, this mare is a bit hateful and destructive, but much less vocal about it. She is the silent but deadly type, if you will. She lives to see bloodshed and pain, but will never commit the act herself; it's much too dirty of a job for the likes of her. Giorgia is much more of the wing-man in the path of destruction - she'll do anything you want her to do as long as you promise the outcome will be death. She'll tell you she is like this because of a mishap during her mother's wish on the wishing tree, and that the heavens were not kind to her family that day, but in reality, she knows deep down it's because the heavens did not make a mistake - her father was a killer, and now it is her turn.
Giorgia is a skilled deception-er, however, because she knows she's pretty and will use that to her advantage. Does she want something of yours? Do you want to spend a wonderful night with her? Sure, she'll do it - if it means she can hurt you or take something from you afterwards.
Key Facts About Giorgia: 1.) Her goal in life is to watch her father die. She has lived for that moment and that moment alone.
2.) She will never be a 'mother'. She'll be an incubator to the future generations, but never a mother.
3.) However, she does love her own mother as much as she can. Her style of love is not of the norm - but she does recognize & appreciate the mare who raised her, and does not wish to cause her any direct harm.
4.) After the death of her father, she'll disappear, never to be seen or heard from again, unless her siblings/children come and find her on their own. She'll be done with them once the deed is done.
5.) She tends to think she's one of the most gorgeous mares in the world, and uses that to her advantage. But only to get what she wants - then she's either satisfied with the pain/suffering she helped cause, or bored with the situation she's put herself in. She never stays in the same place for too long.
6.) Giorgia will have manipulated Bly into raising her parents new batch of kids along with her, but with the intention of having him do it on his own. In her mind, he's far too stupid to raise them 'properly', but they're no good to her dead, so she does not want to be near them unless necessary. This is because she knows there may be too much temptation there to try and hurt them.THE 'STEP-FATHER': >>> Bly is a foal at heart. No, really. He basically thinks he's a foal still. He takes pleasure in chasing butterflies, playing hide and seek (although it's hard for him to hide because he's so huge) and playing tag. This big colt is not the smartest stallion in the bunch. He knows how to take care of himself and others, but when it comes to basic/ common knowledge he's a little slow. The only thing that's fast is his mouth. He has no filter between his thoughts and his actions, so he is usually considered outspoken by most because he is blatant about his feelings. Bly is innocent, he has never seen anything bad, never met an evil soul, and wouldn't know any better if he did. He is clueless of the world and clueless of the way things work. He'll believe almost anything he's told because he doesn't know anything otherwise.
Key Facts About Bly: 1. Despite this clueless personality, Bly has inherited his father's gallantry and chivalry. He will not hesitate to help anyone in need, no matter what they need.
2. Bly travels a lot, he also inherited his father's love for exploring and adventure. He would most likely try to teach foals how to be little adventurers and how to chase butterflies and would be clueless to any evil leanings they might have. Though he doesn't believe he's old enough to be a father, he will do his best to help Giorgia if it will make her happy. He will most likely grow close to any foals and adopt them as his own. (He has randomly adopted foals before, so he has no problem doing so again. He doesn't really know the meaning of the words 'father' or 'adoption'. But then again, he doesn't know the meaning of a lot of words...or things.)
3. He holds some stubbornness and deep hidden feelings towards his father, who says he needs to grow up. Bly thinks he is already grown up, I mean, he's tall right? Totally grown up. But he knows very deep down under the fog in his silly brain that he does need to grow up, and that he can't always chase butterflies and play hide and seek.
4.He is usually not one to get attached to others, as he often wanders away after a shiny beetle before he can get to know others too much. But Giorgia is different. Giorgia is that shiny beetle to him right now. He is a star-struck, twitter-pated idiot for her.
5. Bly is completely oblivious to the fact that Giorgia hates him or anyone else. He is off in his own world daydreaming and watching clouds. He finds Giorgia a little strange, but he thinks she's beautiful so he has been following her around in hopes of wooing her. He has no idea that he is merely a pawn in her evil plots.

..: razz ROMPTS::..
I want to make a quick little disclaimer before you continue reading what your prompts will be. I have spent a lifetime and a half perfecting this plot and everything that goes into it - most of the characters and their personalities are mine and mine alone, and so when I set this up for all of you to participate in, I want someone who fits. I can honestly say, right here and now, that I cannot gauge who will fit with my characters and those that are participating, unless I am given two prompt responses.
Yes, two. I am fully aware that most RP contests are kind of just for show when it comes to 'developing' a character through a response, but one response will not given me enough to feel how this character speaks to me. I am not a stickler on how long or short a response ends up being - it can be a mini novel to a couple of paragraphs - but I do wish that everyone can manage to give me two responses.
And I also realize that life gets in the way, and people cannot reply twice. That's fine with me, if you cannot manage two, that's perfectly fine. I just....would love to see two. I can get way more information from two different reactions, than just one. But I'm not going to sit here and tell you it's my way or the highway. No. Give me what you can, I'll love to read it all!^^ Here They Are:
For these next two, you decide whether or not you want your basket taken by Giorgia. Whatever you decide is fine by me - she will take two baskets, but the choice is yours which of the two! The other basket will remain with his or her parents. Answer either one according to your decision. These ARE required prompts, however. If you wish to respond to another, there are more options down below. Prompt #1A If You Wish to Stay With Your Parents: When a strange mare you've never seen before (Giorgia) comes and takes your siblings away, she leaves you behind. The noise wakes you up, however, your parents and other sibling are asleep in a grove nearby so they do not hear a thing. What do you do? Are you going to try and stop the strange mare? Do you feel a sense of glee that they're captured now? What is going through your mind? What about your parents, will you tell them the truth, or keep it a secret....? Feel free to be as creative as possible! Prompt #1B If You Wish to Have Your Basket Stolen: A strange mare (Giorgia) has come to your cozy little home in the middle of the darkest night and taken you and one of your siblings away. Did you follow her willingly? If so, what did she tell you that was so convincing? If not, what did she do to get you out of there? How do you react from being taken from your parents? Please be as creative as you want! Note: You have my permission to roleplay Giorgia in any way, shape or form in these two responses! Have fun with her! Now, these next few responses would take place a time before Giorgia comes to take the basket(s) away. So roleplay your foal as if no tragedy has struck the family, regardless of the path you choose: Prompt #2 Your father is off again for the next few days, and although this is a frequent thing, it has left your mother in shambles. She is a walking shell of a once happy mare while her mate is away, and she is currently too emotional to take care of you. How does that make you feel, knowing that you cannot do anything to help her? Do you hate your father? Do you resent your mother? What happens? Prompt #3 One day you stumble across a dying, helpless little animal. It is the first sight of blood and death you've ever seen - so what happens? Your mother has always told you that killing is bad, but your father, on the other hand, craves it...and has always said to put things out of their misery (or, that's how he words it, for your sake). Whose advice do you follow? Does it make you feel good, or do you wish for more? Prompt #4 Your parents love each other, but like most couples, they get into arguments every so often. Today, you overhear them arguing about something...or someone by the name of 'Giorgia'. This is the first you've ever heard of that name, so it piques your interest. From what you can hear, this 'Giorgia' sounds like a crazy, nasty creature...but you have no idea what he or she looks like. What do you imagine? What kind of a picture is laid out in your head? Do you find yourself idolizing this faceless beast, or does it scare you? Prompt #5 This is an opportunity to express yourself & the foal any way you want - so this is a free for all prompt! Have a plot in mind that is not listed? Please, respond to it here!^^ Note: You have my permission to briefly roleplay Blessita here, if you wish! ..::The Form::.. ~When the sky falls, darkness conquers light~ ..Username: ..Foal's Name: You can provide a meaning behind the name here, too, if you'd like ..Gender: ..Temper:
..Personality:
..Plots?: Got anything in mind you think will make this plot better? Anything else you want your Soquili to be a part of? Add it all here!
..Is this your first entry, or second?: ..Prompt Response: Please post one at a time - you can do 1 response as a male, and 1 as a female, or two of the same gender - up to you! Also, it can be any length you want! ..Role Your Soquili Will Play?: Giorgia will bestow the actual act of killing their father upon one of her siblings, or one of her children. Would your Soquili be interested in taking that role? Or is he or she disgusted with the idea of murder? Give me a brief explanation as to why the decision is one way or the other.

~When the sky falls, darkness conquers light~ ..Username: dawns_aura ..Foal's Name: Alaine
..Gender: Name, temper and personality would be the same for either gender, but for the sake of contest, I will refer to the foal as male ..Temper: Naive
..Personality: He is the personification of innocence. Through the entirety of his life, this is the one quality that is outstanding and will never be tarnished. He has a very good, gentle soul and sees the good in everyone and everything. Because of his innocent nature he is easily manipulated and taken advantage of because he cannot see that others are not as good as he himself is. He is also deeply empathic, feeling everything more than most do.
..Plots?: -A lifetime to atone: After the mea culpa plot, he will undergo a crisis of faith, and travel to find a way, short of bringing Umo back to life, that he can make up for what he had done. -Did you ever love me?: After the deed is done and Giorgia disappears, Alaine seeks her out to find out why, if everything was a lie, and the answer to the most important question in his mind, did she ever love him. - Finding forgiveness: Before one can find forgiveness from others, one must first find forgiveness within themselves. He never meant to cause the widespread devastation that he did, never meant to ruin more lives than just the one. But he did, and he can not find it in his heart to forgive himself just yet. So he goes to Blessita as the first stop on his quest. - mea culpa, mea maxima culpa: My fault, my own fault, my most grievous fault… After he felt the cooling blood of his father on his hooves, he turned to the only mother he had ever known, trying to find her approbation and approval - the only thing he ever wanted. But instead of finding what he desired, she turned away and left him. He realizes that everything he ever knew, ever believed in was a lie. And what he had done was to take a life that did not necessarily deserve to be taken. He sees a life that is hopelessly shattered, and memories long repressed surface. Memories of his true mother, and the father he had so callously killed.
..Is this your first entry, or second?:first ..Prompt Response: 1b-A strange mare (Giorgia) has come to your cozy little home in the middle of the darkest night and taken you and one of your siblings away. Did you follow her willingly? If so, what did she tell you that was so convincing? If not, what did she do to get you out of there? How do you react from being taken from your parents? Please be as creative as you want!
One eye opened with a sleepy blink when he heard the sound of hoofsteps and a twig breaking nearby. This was unusual in his admittedly limited experience. He glared into the darkness. He loved his sleep and now some unknown being woke him. There had better be a darn good reason.
He caught a glimpse of a coat similar to his, and it caught his interest. He got unsteadily to his hooves to follow it. 'W-who are you?' he whispered uneasily.
The figure just looked over their shoulder. 'Shhh.'
Intrigued he walked after them, leaving the safety of home and family. There was just something too familiar for him to be apprehensive. Something inside him said this was ok. He trotted trying to keep up. Once they were out of earshot of his parents and other sibling, he asked again. 'Who are you?'
'You may call me Giorgia.'
Giorgia. His sister. The one who had left long before he had been born. 'What do you want with me?'
'You ask too many questions.' She sighed. ' Follow me or not, but just be quiet.'
Alaine blinked, but continued to follow. He was curious. He had heard about her- not all good, but she was still family. He needed to know.
..Role Your Soquili Will Play?: He will be the one to kill Umo'.
Alaine would do whatever it took to make Giorgia happy. It is just the kind of being he is. And he knows that the one thing that will make her happier than anything is the death of a certain stallion. So he chooses to be the one to accomplish this task.

..Plots?: -Brainwashed: He is a very good gentle soul, and the rather easily manipulated, so the love he has for his mother is easily transferred to Giorgia after he is abducted. -Like 'father', like son: As a young carefree colt, he spends a lot of time with Bly, whom he attempts to emulate. -Not Worthy of Love: After killing his sire, and the resulting fall-out, Alaine feels that he is completely unworthy of affection or love, but he meets a mare (or stallion) that stays near and tries to show him that he does have value, worth, and he can love and be loved.
..Is this your first entry, or second?: second ..Prompt Response: Your father is off again for the next few days, and although this is a frequent thing, it has left your mother in shambles. How does that make you feel, knowing that you cannot do anything to help her? Do you hate your father? Do you resent your mother? What happens?
This isn't the first time he had left, nor the first time that it left mom in shambles. The young foal watched helplessly as his mother went around listlessly perfoming everyday tasks. When she was nothing more than a shell of her normal self… or the self she seemed to be when he was around. He hated that this seemed to happen every time. And even knowing what it did to her, Umo' left often. It left a hole inside her that grew a little more each time. And a small seed of resentment was planted in Alaine's heart. How could his father do this to mom?
There was not much he could do. He could not fill that emptiness inside her. The only thing he could do, was try to behave well and not cause her any more grief than she already had to bear. He also tried to take responsibility to keep his siblings in line as well, though more often than not they did what they chose to do anyway. But at least he could say he tried.
But the thing that broke his heart more than anything was her need to keep them all within her sight at all times. As if they might vanish and leave her all alone, like He did.
'Don't worry mom, I'll never leave you.' He whispered as she came to tell him goodnight.

~When the sky falls, darkness conquers light~ ..Username: Tirokio ..Foal's Name: Alistir (Ah-lis-tear), a play off of "Alastor" a Greek name meaning "avenging spirit." In mythology, this is the name of the daimon spirit of family blood feuds, the afflicter of vengeance upon children for the crimes of their fathers.
..Gender: Female ..Temper: Distorted
..Personality: Alistir growing up is much on the same wavelength as her mother. She could see through the eyes of her mother the good in the world and whole heartedly wanted to believe the magic at every rainbow and the light in everyone's soul. The little filly has a hard time making up her mind as she is easily swayed and rather gullible, relying on her surroundings and influences of others to tell her how to feel, or how to act. In short, Alistir feels at times she doesn't really have her own personality, as often she will mimic those she is closest to. This in future sight will have a horrible effect on her kidnapping; no longer the innocence she finds attractive in her mother, and absorbing the traits she finds in the next best thing - Giorgia.
..Plots?:
More so for after all the plottage: After killing her father if its how it plays out to be, Alistir would be left to fully realize the extent of her sins. It'll be the first time that she truly has a moment which is soley 'her' - since the mare has never really had her own 'self'. All that she'd molded into will be lost when she sees the anguish of her mother; and possibly her siblings and this will cause incomprehensible pain to the mare. Much like the image of her mother when her father was gone as a child this will be who Alistir will wake up to be - a shell voided of herself and anyone around her. She simply does not want to be herself or anyone who she'd "been" in the past. She may try and work it out with her family but i'm thinking the pain of being the 'monster' even though her mother would believe its her fault would also have her want to disappear from their lives.
This would be the start of her soul finding journey of self discovery, a long and painful path of trying to forgive herself and one day face her family again after what she'd done.
..Is this your first entry, or second?: First :3 ..Prompt Response: - #1B
"Wake up, little one...."
....What was that? Stirring from such a riveting dream of being surrounded in a magical meadow with small flutters and their magic wings Alistir cracked open her sleepy eyes and looked up into the rather large face of someone she'd never seen before - but looked so much like her mother and father. With her ears folding back she took a moment to study, to think hard on who this mysterious stranger could be....wasn't she told of this before?
"Its me, your big sister..." The mare grinned, perhaps a little ruefully, but it was as close of a warm smile as Alistir needed.
"My sister!!" She whinnied gleefully, only to have Giorgia's face look horrified for a moment but luckily no one had woken from that startle. Shooting a warning glare as she tried to keep her cool for the plan to work she twisted a near grimace of a smile on her face.
"Yes, dear....Now shhhh, you don't want to wake everyone else up." The mare coo'ed, leaning down to nose the filly up onto her legs with little protest from the still sleepy child.
"How come?" Such innocence was present on her tone, and when Giorgia looked down it was much like the face of their mother. A smile curled onto her lips as she tried not to yawn, how could she be sleepy when they had visitors! "Wont mama want to see you too?"
"Well - thats the thing my dear. They asked me to come all the way here to take you and your brother with me on a little playcation; its hard looking after three foals when...daddy is gone so much. Won't you make it easier on mother and respect her wish?" Giorgia nearly seethed as she spoke such a wretched word on her tongue - the venom of her words lost on the little filly as she looked over in the direction of her parents. Daddy is gone a lot....Momma gets so sad when he leaves. I was trying to be good....maybe thats not good enough and momma is still run down because of us... The little filly thought with a saddened look in her eyes...perhaps it would be best if they left for a little bit. Yet why was her sister not coming with them?
"Why is our other sister not coming? Just me and him?" Alistir motioned towards the sleeping form of her brother still snoring away; more curious than anything.
"Oh...well..." Drat. She wasn't expecting that one, but the other sister was much too close to her parents, where as Alistir and her brother were almost cuddled up together out here. "Mother said she was alright to stay, she is not as tiring as you and your brother. She didn't want me to say anything, but its alright...we're going to have a lot of fun the three of us. So come with me....Alistir....?" The mare smiled fakely, turning to wake up her brother. Despite her thudding heart as she looked back longingly at the sight of her parents and sister...perhaps she was a troublemaker like Giorgia said. Why would her sister lie to her? How foolish, and here she had the gall to think she was being good! Mother needed a break for when daddy left in the morning...
"I'll go. Mother needs a break from me...." She breathed out quietly, slowly moving behind her sister as she offered her own fake kind of smile - much like she'd seen from Giorgia. "We'll have lots of fun.....just the three of us." She stated in a more matter of factly tone, making off into the night with her older sister and brother - not realizing the extent of fun they'd really have.
..Role Your Soquili Will Play?:
Being the way Alistir is, she would be more than capable of taking the roll of killing her father if she was molded into that way. Its fairly obvious that she will take on the traits, beliefs and emotions of those she's connected to; if Giorgia took that into advantage and got her riled up she could make the killing blow. However this would nearly destroy the poor mare in the end, as once Giorgia left for good she would be faced leeching back onto her grief ridden mother and finally realizing the irreversible damage she has caused.

~When the sky falls, darkness conquers light~ ..Username: xKOVAKtheWOLFx ..Foal's Name: Mwanga'Giza ["Light Darkness" in Swahili] ..Gender: it does not matter, but I will play Giza as a female for this contest ..Temper: Broken
..Personality: Giza is a hard mare to understand. She wants to do what is right - good, but she just can't. Sure, she is friendly, but maybe that is what led her to all of this trouble. Giza is easily manipulated and would believe anything that Giorgia would tell her since they only seem to got each other in a way.
..Plots?: Before the killing, I would like it if Giza actually got to know her father in a way. She would find that he has honor, and would see why Giorgia's past was how it was. Giza confused, reconsiders the plot that she has been living through, plotting through for the rest of her life. Not wanting to be killed for being a traitor and not wanting to see her father dead, Giza is broken, having to choose what she would do. I would like it if Giza were to warn one of her parents before the murdering, but give the warning just a few seconds for the battle begins. Giza would then face Giorgia, but seeing herself in Giorgia's face, she regrets everything she did, seeing how stupid she was. The whole time Giza was just her plot toy, and now her end is to come?
..Is this your first entry, or second?: first ..Prompt Response: 1B "Nuuhhh? Bwesseetuuhh?" the half-asleep filly whispered, hearing the soft steps of someone approaching her. Blessita would always stay awake until she fell asleep, but tonight, the sounds were different - heavier in a way. "Nuuhh..?"
"Its just me, Giorgia. Your older sister, Giza. No worries." a soft voice whispered through the air.
Waking up a bit, Giza opened her eyes, to find a striped mare a distance from her. Her bright eyes also detected the shape of Blessita already asleep. This mare must be no threat since her mother wasn't stirring around, right?
"Come, dear Giza." the mare called, sending a chill down Giza's spine. "There's something that I would love to show you back at my place." Smiling, she added, "You might even see things that Mother's scared to show you. I heard how curious you are."
Ears perked, Giza stared, knowing that it was dangerous to be talking to strangers, but what could this Giorgia do to her? She watched as Giorgia began to walk away, constantly looking back. "I thought we would have some sister time, but I guess not."
Sister time? That got to her. "Wuuhhh... waayyt. Guhh...gorrguh." Giza got to her legs and scrambled, trying to catch up to the striped mare.
"Yes Giza?" she asked, smiling a smile that would not be forgotten. ..Role Your Soquili Will Play?: Before the killing, I would like it if Giza actually got to know her father in a way. She would find that he has honor, and would see why Giorgia's past was how it was. Giza confused, reconsiders the plot that she has been living through, plotting through for the rest of her life. ~When the sky falls, darkness conquers light~ ..Username: JetAlmeara ..Foal's Name: Ekundayo - Sorrow becomes Joy ..Gender: Unisex (Will be filling out the form from a male perspective just because its easier but everything would apply the same to a female) ..Temper: Trusting ..Personality: Dayo Is a bit on the Naive side..not in the same sense as his mother, he does not necessarily believe that everyone is good at heart, nor does he harbor a deep need to save them...but in the sense that he is a touch on the gullible side. He simply doesn't seem to take into account that what he is told could be a lie, or at least a little bit misleading. Dayo simply expects people to tell him the truth..at least as a foal. Its possible he could learn to be a bit less trusting as life goes on. This naivety is undeniably a trait inherited from his mother..and combined with the firm belief that the truth must be upheld and defended at any cost, a staunch inner moral guideline inherited from his father, creates a foal who is firm in his beliefs and willing to defend them...but also one that is easily tempted or swayed by the words of others into following causes that are not necessarily good. ..Plots?: I'll be honest and say I'm not great at creating plots for foals right off the bat, I generally like to see how they grow through RP and let plots grow organically from there. However I usually do come up with some vague ideas or options I would like to explore with them and see where it leads them..so here are a few of those. I would like for Dayo to follow his name, to prove, that at least his case, his fathers belief that the meaning of names has a hand in creating a foals future is true. Dayo could do this in a variety of ways..either he himself realized that the start of his life (being kidnapped and basically brainwashed into believing in his sister's cause) was a sorrowful time that he struggles to atone for and while he may not ever reach full atonement I think it's important that he reach a point where he can say..yes I am happy again. OR it can be taken in the more nebulous tone, as it impacts his family less then himself..his kidnapping from his family and subsequent role in his fathers demise will no doubt cause a great deal of Sorrow..however if he then realizes his mistake and attempts to reform a relationship with his mother afterwards to some degree there could be joy again. Both of these options could even happen simultaneously. Because his is naive as a young stallion and will spend a period of time away from his adopted family when Giorgia sends him away I imagine that Dayo will find himself following a variety of causes, both good and bad that will likely get him into some trouble..and perhaps, subtly plant the seeds for his future doubt. Make him start to think that maybe its not such a great idea to fully believe everything that he's told right off the bat. Both of these vague ideas will no doubt spawn a variety of sub plots and stories for Dayo that will be determined by the RP. ..Is this your first entry, or second?: First ..Prompt Response: If You Wish to Have Your Basket Stolen: A strange mare (Giorgia) has come to your cozy little home in the middle of the darkest night and taken you and one of your siblings away. Did you follow her willingly? If so, what did she tell you that was so convincing? If not, what did she do to get you out of there? How do you react from being taken from your parents? Please be as creative as you want! It was dark. The cloudy filled sky and lack of the typical moonshine more then enough to plunge the world below into a darkness that was not unusual (surely other cloudy nights were just as dark) but none the less new to Dayo. The colt had thus far in his short life been given no reason to fear the darkness - no terrible tragedy or scary story had yet befallen his ears to make him tremble in the shadow filled gloom..and yet a part of him did so. It is a primal instinct, to be afraid of the dark, a fear shared by many and not entirely unjustified. There was good reason to be afraid of the dark..Dayo just did not know it yet. In any case, lacking the proper reasoning or not for his fear, Dayo was uncomfortable and shifted somewhat nervously in the grass bed where he was supposed to be sleeping. It was hard to sleep with the sounds of night, so very different from the sounds of day, drifting to him on the evening wind. Each chirp of an insect, rustled branch..cracking twig was enough to make the colts ears swivel, make him pause briefly in his breaths as his frightened mind attempted to determine the true nature of the possible threat it could represent. He was far to frightened however to actually open his eyes and look for this threat..which of course simply made his imagination see for him and that, was perhaps, far worse then the truth. Or perhaps not..for only a few moments from the latest twig crack did a voice float to him from the darkness. It was an unfamiliar voice and yet.. possessed familiar qualities. Dayo felt that he should know this voice somehow but he did not. That faint familiarity however was enough to get him to open his eyes and look upon the speaker. "Wake little foal. Quickly now." The voice commanded and in the darkness Dayo could see only a vague outline, a feminine form. It was not his mother..for it did not sound like her, but he was more then sure it was female."I can see that you are awake." The voice went on a slight commanding tone entering her voice as she concluded. "Stand, you are coming with me." Dayo was confused, but he was young and well used to following the commands of those older then him. He was untangled his legs and stood almost before realizing what he was doing. This quick obedience however did not fully override his hesitations and he paused. "But why..my parent's...they told me to stay here.." He questioned, his confusion etched clearly within his voice. The specter before him seemed to pause for a few moments, as though considering the best way to answer him. "Because I have a task for you..you enjoy tasks yes? I have watched you for several days and I can tell that you are the colt for the job." She went one "It is a very important job but you must come with me quickly." She encouraged. An important job? For him? Dayo was intrigued. Intrigued enough to take a few steps towards the strange mare, a few more steps so that he could see her more clearly. She was a beautiful mare and resembled his parents to some degree, a similarity that was comforting. "But what about my parents, they will be worried." "Nonsense, your mother has sent me to collect you. IT is a secret special job that must be done." The mare went on. "If you do not come with me and fulfill your..destiny..then grave danger will befall her." The mare went one a note of impatience sneaking into her voice at the end, although it was clear that she was attempting to remain patient. The mares words washed any any remaining doubt that Dayo might have..if his mother had sent this mare to collect him for this important task then surely it was right and proper for him to follow her. Mother wouldn't be mad..quite the contrary she would probably be mad if he refused.. especially if this task was as important as the mare made it sound. "Okay. If it is that important." Dayo stated with a slight nod, hesitation leaving him as he willingly followed the mare into the darkness..which was not nearly so scary now that he had her before him and an important task waiting for him to complete. ..Role Your Soquili Will Play?: Giorgia will bestow the actual act of killing their father upon one of her siblings, or one of her children. Would your Soquili be interested in taking that role? Or is he or she disgusted with the idea of murder? Give me a brief explanation as to why the decision is one way or the other. Dayo, because of his naivety, will likely believe Giorgia's words, she has I'm assuming spent a great deal of time making them all believe that her course of action is the proper one and Dayo will believe her. It's possible that he will feel the act of killing his father will be freeing for his birth mother - surely she is only with such an evil stallion because he forces her to be right? And because he believes Giorgia then he will no doubt feel it his duty to follow through with her plan and uphold her truths. However depending on the trails and tribulations that he faces during his time away from Giorgia it is possible that he has started to doubt some of what she's told him. He might be rethinking his earlier devotion to her cause and perhaps at the moment of fulfilling it may have a change of heart... causing someone else to take his place and do the deed...or he'll realize he was wrong after it has already been accomplished. I'd actually really like to discuss both options with you guys and come up with the one that would best impact the story should I win. I love stories..the more dramatic/heartwrenching/emotional the better and this is the type of decision that really needs to be felt out by everyone involved I think. CHEEZE: Fries!

{/quote] It was a wonderful day today. The sun was shining..the birds were singing..wait a moment, now that he thoughts about it Dayo wasn't entirely certain that what he heard was singing at all. In fact, once you ignored the rustling of bushes and the otherwise sweet feelings such a beautiful day elicited in you well..it sounded kind of awful actually. Curious about what this awful sound could be Dayo diverted from his path through the trees to forge his own way through the under bush in search of the terrible sounds source. Perhaps if he were older the colt might have steered clear of such things, but the ever curious nature of foals drove him on. Further and further he went into the woods and away from the path and louder and louder the pitiful, terrible sound became. Dayo had gone so far into the woods actually that he was starting to question this choice of actions..what if he couldn't find the pathway again? What if he got lost? Just a few more steps the colt told himself..he would go just a few more steps towards the sound and if he didn't find the source by then, then he would turn around and go home and tell his father or his mother about it. He probably should have done that in the first place..but he had come far to far now to turn around and go back. A few steps more of course soon became a dozen or so strides, much in the way 'just one more bite of clover' soon turned into devouring the whole patch and when at long last Dayo finally came upon the sounds source..well to be honest he almost wished that he hadn't. A small rabbit lay upon the ground, screeching and screaming, its tiny front paws scrabbling at the ground - a fruitless effort it seemed because its back end was twisted at an awkward angle and the legs there did not seem to be working anymore. Perhaps he could help the creature of he straightened it out? Would it start working again? Wincing at the prospect Dayo none the less steeled his resolve and flipped the creatures back end right way around. The rabbit did not stop screaming and even worse Dayo could tell that righting the creature was not going to do it much good. The entire backside seemed rent as though from terrible claws and blood upon the branch just above seemed to indicate the rabbit had fallen upon it. How did a rabbit get into a tree? When he was older he would of course consider that the rabbit might have been the intended meal of a hawk or owl and simply been dropped for some reason..but at such a youthful age that explanation simply did not occur to the colt. "Shhh..you have to be quiet!" The young foal whispered to the rabbit in a vain attempt to make it stop screeching. "Something will come and get you again!" He went on. Dayo was somewhat disconcerted by not only the rabbits continued screaming but the condition of its body. It was terrible to look at and he was beginning to think that there wasn't anything he could do for the rabbit. But he couldn't leave to sit here and continue to cry either now could he? Perplexed Dayo screwed up his face while he tried to think. What would his parents do? During his last conversation with his father the stallion had mentioned 'putting something out of its misery' And even as young as he was Dayo had known what the stallion meant..sure his mother was typically against such an idea, but his father had said this only the other day and his mother had spoken of it several days ago. Clearly - because his mother and father were both of equal status when it came to who one should listen too the newest advice was the one he ought to take. But... Did he want to? Dayo looked back to the rabbit. It was clearly in misery and Dayo could see know way to stop that but one. He didn't want to...but according to his father this was right and the right thing much always be done. No.Matter.What. Dayo could not afford to sit here and be a scardy colt now could he? He had to do what he was supposed to do..even if he didn't like it, even if he didn't want to. He would do it quick and fast..and then he would go home. Thankfully the rabbit was small and it was running out of what little energy it had left..the screams were more like pitiful cries now and the frantic scratching and flopping were little more then twitches. This was a good thing Dayo thought because it meant he wasn't likely to miss and mess up. Rearing up he plunged downwards. One quick strike and the twitching and the crying stopped. Dayo stayed for only a moment - just one moment to make sure the rabbit was truly out of it misery before he turned and bolted back towards the path. He really wanted to be home now. ..Role Your Soquili Will Play?: Giorgia will bestow the actual act of killing their father upon one of her siblings, or one of her children. ~When the sky falls, darkness conquers light~ ..Username: Zactura. ..Foal's Name: Seward. Deriving from the roots, it seems to mean something along the lines of 'victory guard'. ..Gender: Writing as male in this one. ..Temper: Reserved. ..Personality: Seward is, first and foremost, carefully guarded--while he is more than willing to defend those he loves, he knows that if he doesn't keep himself safe, he won't be able to do that. As a result, he can come off as more than a bit selfish sometimes, and is rather aloof and cold when dealing with strangers. It takes a good long while to make it into any positive standing in his book, and Seward will make absolutely sure that you don't pose any sort of threat in the meantime. His utmost measure of trust would be introducing a new 'friend' to somebody he cares about; being that he cannot control the situation to his liking, this means that he's taking a serious risk, and he wants to be as certain as he can be that nothing will go wrong. He's somewhat paranoid, really, and will go to great lengths to make sure that he has control of the situation--and himself. If he cannot keep his words and feelings in check, what hope does he have to be able to maintain a hold on how events will go? He loves his mother with all his heart and will do anything to protect her, but he's somewhat hostile towards his father due to what his absences do to Blessita. At first, this will start out as a sort of childish dislike, but over time, Seward will eventually shape it into a carefully-buried resentment that he will do his best to keep covered. He's respectful, polite, honest...cold, overly rational, and, at his worst, unfeeling. Seward is serious at pretty much all times, keeping an eye on his surroundings to guard his everything from the 'ever-lurking' dangers of the world that he honestly believes are around every corner. Seward is very deeply honor-bound, believing firmly in keeping one's word and maintaining a sort of chivalric code. At his core, he's really not a bad guy. He just...has some odd ways of showing his affection, being that he gets sort of rabidly protective and will be watching your every step. He just wants you to be safe, after all; even if he certainly could go about it in a better way. ..Plots?:- As put below, if I do win, I plan on having Seward pursue Giorgia. While he doesn't really want to kill her, he'll feel as if he owes it to both his mother and his father, and will hunt her down. Being so far away from his mother will put a toll on him, but he isn't going to stop until he's got Giorgia under his hooves. After he faces off against her, whether it ends with her death, his, or some injury to either party, he'll return home, though he'll have a fair bit of trouble settling that on his conscience; even moreso if he actually does kill her. - He'll be a good bit less grave and grim when he's a foal, but as he grows older--and with the eventual contact with his sister, not to mention what happens with his father--he'll harden up, for lack of a better word. As a result of this, he may temporarily put some distance between himself and his family while he reworks himself out, and will hopefully be returning to them in a positive state. He'd intend to wander for a little while, staying somewhat close by so as to keep a good eye on what matters to him, of course. And though he may get lost or carried away sometimes, he'll always return to Blessita. Perhaps one day, he'll come back with somebody special in tow. He'd already have vowed never to be the father that he had, and I think it'd be interesting to have him talk to Blessita about that. Work out some issues he's got, fret about whether or not he'll eventually be a good parent--it'll be the heart-to-heart chat he'd be sort of fidgety about, but would be good for him. ..Is this your first entry, or second?: First. ..Prompt Response:Quote: If You Wish to Stay With Your Parents: When a strange mare you've never seen before (Giorgia) comes and takes your siblings away, she leaves you behind. Something was wrong, and he could tell. The sound of heavier hooves than those of his sibling had woken him up, and Seward was already on edge, eyes wide open and peering around the grove. He couldn't quite see so well yet--blinking to clear the rudely-shaken sleep from his eyes, the colt fidgeted in place, bumping a bit against the tree roots that he'd nestled himself in. It was far too quiet in this area, and he could see the dark silhouette of another soquili looming over the smaller one he knew well. Yes, something was terribly wrong. He could just barely hear voices, whispered and furtive as they were--something about showing the truth, bringing evil to light, and--well, he didn't really catch that last part. Either this stranger, a mare by the sound of her voice, had said something about 'passing true judgment', or it had been 'asking you to hush, mint'. He was far more inclined to believe the first assumption. He remained stock-still, feigning the illusion of sleep as the mare led his brother closer. The breaths he forced himself to take weren't exactly sleeplike, but he was hoping they'd do. "Can we bring him along?" a younger voice asked in a hushed tone. "No. We have to do this ourselves, brother. You'll have to leave him for now." That voice stopped his racing heart, and Seward felt an uncanny flash of fear strike him. Why was his brother talking--no, even being around this mare? He'd always said Seward was a bit too cautious, but now, the younger foal really and truly believed he was right. He could feel himself tense up as he awaited his sibling's reply, doing everything in his power to try and keep his breathing even. "But--" "There's nothing we can do, and we only have so much time. Come with me, now." Where were they going? Why were they leaving--and more importantly, why was his dear brother leaving them? Who was this mare, and who did she think she was? There were far too many questions looming close for Seward's liking, and he deemed it high time that he try to make them stop. He stood up slowly, watching as they walked away. By now, he could see a little better, and he committed as much of this stranger to memory as he could. Oh, his mother would be hearing of this, that was certain; there was no chance that he wouldn't tell her. "Brother?" he ventured, cringing at how shaky his voice sounded. The pair stopped, with his sibling turning back to face him quickly. He tried coming back, but Giorgia stopped him, shooting a veiled glare back at the younger foal. She murmured something in her chosen sibling's ear, gaze flickering back and forth from the grove where there st of their family slept and Seward himself. This time, he understood none of it, and he was more than certain she'd made it so he wouldn't. Why would she want to be followed by some foal? His brother didn't look happy about whatever had been said, but he nodded slowly, casting Seward one last sad look before walking into the darkness. The mare lingered briefly after--those few seconds seemed to drag on for an eternity, and as he finally gathered the courage to step forward, she smirked and darted off into the forest, hoofbeats fading away just as she had. He couldn't believe what had just happened, and the colt remained, feet firmly planted where they'd fallen and eyes locked on where he'd last seen them. What should he do? Should he go and awaken his parents, or go after the pair himself? The answer to those questions came far more easily than his bravery had. "MOTHER--!" ..Role Your Soquili Will Play?:After everything goes down, Seward would be the one to kill Umo. He won't like it, won't talk about it past it--it'll be a mercy killing, as far as he's concerned. He will not let it slide, however; even if he didn't really see eye-to-eye with his father, Umojani still was his parent. Seward will reason that it's his duty to hunt Giorgia down, and that will pretty much consume him for a while. Being that he was already a bit resentful toward his father, he'll pretty much eat Giorgia's words up when she comes to tell both him and his sibling about the true evil that is Umojani, and later, he'll regret it. At the time, it'll strengthen his resolve to protect that which he loves, and will drive him a good bit more towards the whole 'big brother' sort of watching in case Umo tries coming around Blessita again. He won't attack him, but he'll do his best to keep him at what he considers a safe distance. CHEEZE: Buuurger.

~When the sky falls, darkness conquers light~ ..Username: Zactura. ..Foal's Name: Seward. Deriving from the roots, it seems to mean something along the lines of 'victory guard'. ..Gender: Still writing as male. ..Temper: Reserved. ..Personality: Seward is, first and foremost, carefully guarded--while he is more than willing to defend those he loves, he knows that if he doesn't keep himself safe, he won't be able to do that. Work out some issues he's got, fret about whether or not he'll eventually be a good parent--it'll be the heart-to-heart chat he'd be sort of fidgety about, but would be good for him. ..Is this your first entry, or second?: Second. ..Prompt Response:Quote: Prompt #3 Wrote: One day you stumble across a dying, helpless little animal. Red. That was the first thing he noticed, and he couldn't tear his eyes away from it now. Red smeared across the tree roots, contrasting sharply with the leaves on the underbrush around--so bright, so...vivid. It was lifeblood, pure and clean, oozing out of something hidden in the leaves. Seward couldn't tell what it was just yet--but whatever it was, it was breathing fast, its little body wracked with spasms and tremors as it lay, terrified and broken, where it believed it was safe. He approached slowly, hooves crunching twigs and dry leaves as he moved towards the foliage. The dying creature heard this, and it stilled abruptly, causing Seward to stop in his tracks, breath catching in his throat. After a few moments, the frantic gasps of air resumed, and he slowly released his own, placing one hoof in front of the other and getting into position. Slowly, he pushed the stubby branches out of the way with his leg, ears flicking back as he caught sight of the large hare nestled below. It had sustained far too many gashes across its body for it to survive, and the blood came pulsing out of the wounds like so many rivers as its little heart forced it all through its veins. It was suffering, that much was clear, and the whimpers and mewling it was making caused a cold feeling to settle in the pit of his stomach. For the first time in his life, he considered his father's words, wondering if maybe he should follow them-- But no. Killing was bad, his mother had said so! And she was never wrong--was she? The hare stared at him with wide, frightened eyes, its feet twitching feebly and stirring up dust that only settled atop it. Put it out of its misery. He couldn't. There was no way he could bring himself to actually... Then again, it would be easier for it. It would feel no more pain, no more fear; only the cool, dark safety that already awaited it. Would he allow this life to go clawing and screaming, or would he ease the struggle and let it slip away--? Seward's brow kitted as he thought, jaw clenched tight. He only had a little bit more time before it was too late, and his decision would be worthless. He had the reins now--this situation was his to control. "I'm sorry." A quick stomp to the head was all that was needed. He felt more than saw the wet crunch as his hoof collided, eyes screwed shut against the sight as he gave a long shudder. The deed was done, and the hare moved no more. Shaking his head, he turned away, letting the bush hide the animal's body once more. He'd have to find some water to clean himself off with; that unsettling squish that accompanied his footfalls was threatening to make him retch. He wouldn't tell his mother of this. He didn't want her to think he was like his father. ..Role Your Soquili Will Play?:After everything goes down, Seward would be the one to kill Umo. He won't like it, won't talk about it past it--it'll be a mercy killing, as far as he's concerned. ~When the sky falls, darkness conquers light~ ..Username: CitrusCupcake ..Foal's Name: Bletsian (old origination of the word blessing) - wanted a name sort of like the mother & and to reflect how she might feel about finally being a mother ^_^ ..Gender: Female/Male ..Temper: Judgmental ..Personality:(temper & personality same for either gender - writing as female for perso & prompts) Bletsian can be your worst enemy or your best friend; your status in her eyes depends entirely on one thing - your first encounter with her. If it goes well, if you seem in her eyes interesting, intelligent or worthwhile of her time and friendship you will find a loyal companion, a generous and honest friend. If however you are a fool, if you bore her or seem snide and bitter or self-destructive than she will freeze on you in mid-sentence, cast a withering glance your way and not one more word or second will be given to you or spent in your time. She has her own unique set of morals and codes that she judges others by, and could easily make friends with the worst of Soquili (those that others consider evil), simply because she sees something that is worth her effort and time to become involved with. This also means that once she has judged those who become her friends, she will stick with that initial assessment, leaving her open to being betrayed, or deceived as she will find it very hard to change her mind about somebody. Because of this, it is as yet uncertain as to how she will view each player in the upcoming drama - as a foal her family was protected from her judgmental ways by a blanket of filial love; her mother bore her, and she and her siblings came about from love; one thing she respects as long as it is true, and neither desperate nor unwanted. ..Plots?:If she is taken (something I'm still toying with but would decide at appropiate time - though the taken one does appeal more), she would form her judgments about her father as influence by Giorgia; she would know no better and so it would be firmly fixed in her mind. She would go along with the proposed plan to kill their father but I believe at some point she would wish to confront and judge Umo for herself - in essence have him go through a trial? I'm not sure if you would be open for that but it would be something that Bletsian would feel needed to happen, as she would come to some realisation that if her judgments affect how she interacts with others then she should be the one to form them from her own experiences. ..Is this your first entry, or second?: First ..Prompt Response:#1B Bletsian had woken; something had disturbed the filly, disturbed her dreaming sleep and she had slowly awoken in the tangle of warm limbs and whistly breathing that was her and her still sleeping siblings. Small ears flicked, trying to work out exactly what it was that had woken her, if it was just a nighttime noise, a nocturnal predator over head, or even something far more boring, like the moving legs or body sounds of her siblings.
Listening. Listening..she grew tired of doing so, hadn't heard anything further and so head nodded, and eyelids were lowering when the ground shook right next to her. A mare had managed to creep right up to where she and her siblings were curled up together, and with now wide eyes and a tongue that she had to peel from the roof of her mouth beforehand, she found her voice and spoke.
'Who are you??' her voice came out squeakier than she would have liked, betraying youth and fear, but the mare only smiled, and leaned in close, a long braid falling down to brush the ground as she did so.
'Shhh little one.' the mare cooed, and as Bletsian watched, still half-awake and half in a sort of state of shock, the adult gently untangled and awoke one of her siblings, simultaneously soothing and shushing the waking foals protests and questions.
'Now..' the mare whispered, crouching a little to come to their level. 'I'm your big sister Giorgia, so don't be afraid. Your mother has asked me to look after two of you for a while, just to give her a bit of a rest. You know she's been a bit..well, sad lately, and if we go for a short adventure, she can take a bit more time for herself.'
Bletsian opened her mouth, forming a question, the first of many that wanted to burst forth, and and was shushed again before she could properly ask it or any.
'You want your mother to happy don't you? She'll be all smiley when you return, you'll see..and I know!' Giorgia said, still whispering as she began to skilfully maneuver the foals out and away from their birth home, not letting them dally. 'We'll pick some flowers when the sun comes up and you can give them to her when you come home agai..' That had been weeks past. Giorgia had long since revealed the pretence, and had been pouring her venom into the foal's ears. Bletsian had long stopped missing her family, though the thoughts of her mother tugged at her, whirled in the mix with everything that their 'adopted' mother had spoken of, had taught them. She didn't have unconditional love for her parents, not any longer. She judged them both. And it was not good for either. ..Role Your Soquili Will Play?:As mentioned before, Bletsian would want to judge her father personally, to hear what he has to say. Though by that time her mind would be considerably coloured by Giorgia's influence, so chances are slim that anything he said would change her mind, despite her by then knowing that she should not pass her judgments from heresay, and she would not attempt to stop what is to happen. However, she only judges in her life, she would not wish to actually perform the act of killing him, as the most she will ever do is to cut someone from her life if she finds them wanting, and that is only figuratively. Breathe out. Bletsian watched as the dying fawn's sides rose and fell, slower and more far apart each time. In. Out. The young deer's eyes were glassy, far-staring, and although it was the first time that the filly had seen something die, she could sense that it was looking at a place she couldn't see. That other, where ever one went when your time was played out, when your last breath was breathed. Bletsian had been nauseated when she had first come across the fawn. It lay at an unnatural angle, limbs twisted, pain stamped across its face. One leg was unmistakingly badly broken, the bone sheered through flesh, the flesh smelling foul, blackened with disease. The ground around was soiled and scoured by hoof marks, obviously made by the dying deer as it had thrashed around, trying to live, trying to move. Starvation, seperation from its herd and then the poison of the wound had all brought the creature to the brink of death, and it was at this point that she had entered its life. She had gagged at first, her grass breakfast churning in her stomach, and the stench on the air was still making it do so, but she was compelled to stay there, to watch. Her father's words had risen unbidden; how a long and drawn out death was a cruelty and that compassion meant doing what others could or would not. She knew the merit and the logic of what he said but the creature's youth weighed heavy on her. The fawn could not be much older than she was, and to end its life would almost feel like she was doing so to herself. 'I can't..' she whispered...the moment hung in the air, and it was as if something else heard her, for the deer breathed its last as she stood there, wracked with her indecision. The choice was removed and she breathed out, a long slow breath that was filled with relief for herself and the poor fawn. She took a few paces back, seperating herself physically from the now cooling corpse, but she found it hard to do so mentally. It had almost died alone. And if she hadn't stumbled across it, would have done so. She silently judged the mother deer, the family herd. And hoped very much no one she loved would do so..and not for a long time. It was with such sombre thoughts that she turned hoof and slowly trotted away from the sad pile of broken fur and flesh. ..Role Your Soquili Will Play?:As mentioned before, Bletsian would want to judge her father personally, to hear what he has to say. Though by that time her mind would be considerably coloured by Giorgia's influence, so chances are slim that anything he said would change her mind, despite her by then knowing that she should not pass her judgments from heresay, and she would not attempt to stop what is to happen.
