The children should see the Pantheon. Eibhilin had been very firm on that, and even the memory of the banshee Aoide's stern look made Illumin wither a bit. His High Flame could be most persuasive when she wished to be. And he did have to admit that she had a point. For all that the Pantheon carried some difficult memories for Light, that was no reason to keep his children ignorant.
He wanted to give each child his complete attention upon their introduction to the Pantheon, and Aelius would probably want time to prepare - he was such a serious child. So Callisto it was, who was eager to go at any time.
They had arrived, and explored a bit, with Callisto shrieking delight at almost everything as her moths tried vainly to keep up with her exuberant movements. Now, the two of them rested in one of the teahouses. Which was to say that Illumin rested and Callisto ran around on the grasses outside, tumbling about with no regard for anything or anyone."Wheeeeeeeeee!"

Oh, she was going to find her daddy ! Even if he was probably just hiding, ready to pop out of thin air and simply lift her from behind when she expected it the least.
Caelia was doing exactly that when a little excited noise caught her attention - and this was... Well ! Little sunset eyes went wide - she'd never seen any gods her age beside her brother and sister - even her cousin was much bigger than she was.
And so, her game of hide and seek was forgotten, and she ran right for Callisto. "HIIIIIIII !!!!"
Caelia certainly liked to make her presence known.
Ankou was, indeed, hiding in plain sight, waiting to scoop out his daughter for a game of what she liked to call 'pretend-flying' - that is, until they noticed they were not alone.
And that their company was... Well, that was obviously Light, whom he had not seen in quite some time. And... a little one ? Light's ? It certainly seemed that way.
For now, he was content to watch as Caelia barreled right for the goddess of moths.

!!!
Callisto immediately changed course, her little wings flaring as she half-ran, half-flew towards this newcomer, someone her size; she'd never seen anyone her size besides her brother!! "HIIIIIIIIIIIII!" she shrieked back at full volume, beaming as she hop-fluttered towards the other godling.Surprised by the sudden bellowing, Illumin stood and quickly stepped out of the teahouse, though he relaxed when he felt the touch of divinity in the other child. A warm smile spread over his veiled face as he realized who escorted the young godling. Not the only one to reproduce, no... nor the only one to ascend, it seemed.
"Ankou."

THIS WAS THE BEST DAY EVER.
Caelia honestly did think this of almost every day, honestly, but right now she was certain, more than she had ever been, that this was the best day ever. Callisto would find herself pulled into a hug as soon as she came close enough to Augury.
"Who're you ?" She asked, laughing all the while. A new friend ! Someone just like her ! This was the best !
"Illumin." The Spirit Guide would greet Light in a similar way, but he would not be able to contain his amused smile for too long. "...Do we have daughters, or do we have banshees ?"
It was a valid question, especially right now.

"One banshee in the house is quite enough," Illumin said, levelly. He was smiling, though, his glow increasing along with his bright pride in his daughter; the teahouse's shadow was utterly obliterated in his wake. "I see you are faring well... time has been kind to you as well, I see. She is yours, then?"Callisto stumbled a bit as she was pulled into the hug, squeaking. "Callisto! Calli!" she beamed, her wings fluttering a bit under Caelia's arms. "Moooooo~oths!"
Her current retinue, ten moths strong, fluttered uncertainly around the godlings, as if they didn't quite know what to do with this new person or if they needed to somehow protect their goddess.

"'m Caelia !" Callisto had given her name, after all. It was only polite to introduce herself in turn - that was what her mommy said, at least. "Augury."
She knew what moths were, at least - though it was likely Callisto had no idea what her own domain was about.
"Yes, she is." Ankou's pride was no less, though it did not have as much impact on the outside world as Light's own. He could understand the question - Caelia mostly pulled from her mother's beauty, after all, with the exception of her coloring.
"One of three, but her brother and sister are with their mother at the moment."

Indeed, Callisto had no idea what Augury was, but she kept beaming and then sat down - or tried to, attempting to tug the other goddess down with her. The grass was cool and pretty! And so soft! "Siiiiit?""Three!" Illumin exclaimed, with a laugh. "You have been busy... and are doubtless still, with three. Two is quite enough for me, though if you have Cosine to help you...?" It was a guess, as to the mother's identity, but a fairly safe one.

The tugging did not go unnoticed. "Okay !" They could sit for now, though would the goddess remain so for too long was up in the air.
Caelia flopped down on the grass and laughed, watching the moths that fluttered around Callisto. "Are they yours ?"
"We did not expect three, to be honest." Sure, Nergal and Echo had three... But that did not mean they would as well.
"Yes, I do. I would likely have never attempted to do this on my own." That would have turned into a train wreck relatively quickly, given how busy he was.

"Yes," Callisto said, happily; she held up one hand and all the moths descended. There was a brief, vaguely furious flurry of wings before the apparent victor took the perch of honor, its wings trembling with adoration. Callisto cooed and leaned forward, touching the tip of one finger to the moth's tiny, soft head. "I love them.""You are wiser than I, then," Illumin said, ruefully. "Were it not that their birth was followed immediately by my ascendance, I fear I would have been entirely out of my provenance. And yet... I am not sorry. Not in the least." The glow of his smile blinded and threw sharp rays out over the lawn; the grass nearest his feet began to crisp.
"Ah-" Just as quickly, the light dimmed. "I keep forgetting about that," he said, with a sigh.

Caelia giggled at the apparent fight, before the lone moth was allowed to perch upon his goddess. "Looks like crows when Ky's around. They caw and peck at each other to try to get on her shoulder first."
She giggled. "They love you too, I can tell."
Ankou's eyes would narrow a bit, not so much out of true annoyance than in an attempt to keep the worse of the brightness out. He was glad not to have to worry about things like that. His wings could get quite bright, yes, but nowhere near that.
"It will grow back soon enough." At least that was what tended to happen, so close to the pantheon.

"Ky? Who Ky?" Callisto's mouth dropped open. "Is there MORE?" She took a deep breath. "PAPA!"He was at her side instantly. "What is it?" He bent down and scooped her up, smiling a little awkwardly at Caelia."There's MORE goo..ooooOOOOOOOOOOOOH." She pointed suddenly at Ankou, squirming and kicking her way up Illumin's side to heave herself nearly over her papa's shoulder in her enthusiasm. "ONE THERE TOO PAPA!!"Illumin's veil had now fallen over his face, thanks to her enthusiastic squirming. "One what?" he managed."One like me an' you an' Aely an' Caely!" Evidently Caelia already rated a nickname. "How many fingers are there???"Evidently this rather odd statement made sense to Illumin, because he just sighed. "I told you, little one - there are more gods than you have fingers or toes.""I counted!! I counted..." There was a moment of silence as she counted off on her fingers. "One! Two! Three! Four! FIVE!! You're five!!" she proclaimed, pointing at Ankou again and flailing.

Callisto's sudden outburst did seem to leave Caelia a little perplexed, but when the little Moth was scooped up by her father, Augury made her way to her own father. Maybe it was 'get rides from daddy' time !
Either way, Caelia grinned once she was settled. "You have two hands, Calli !" Caelia was not perplexed by the nickname, and Callisto had apparently earned herself one as well. "That's ten fingers ! And with two feet, that's ten toes too ! That means twenty !" And that was a lot.
It was probably no surprise that Caelia knew her numbers well.
Ankou, for his part, remained rather unfazed. Given that Caelia was now resting her head on top of his own as if he was some sort of overgrown perch, the Spirit Guide was indeed quite used to all sort of abuse by children.
"Good day, young lady." He would have bowed playfully, but well. Caelia.

"Goooood day! Papa makes it be day!" Callisto beamed and then attempted to hug Illumin around the neck, further disheveling his veil. It was a good thing that Light was no longer quite as set on dignity as he had once been. "Aely, too!"
"Her brother, Aelius, is of Sun," Illumin clarified, then sighed as the veil slid all the way off. Fortunately, he had been prepared to dampen his glow down to mortal levels, and there was only a faint flicker of brightness before the light sank beneath his skin. "Good day to you as well, young one," he added, to Caelia.
"Moooooooooooths!" Callisto proclaimed, fanning her wings such that she rose up a bit, not so much clinging to her father as bobbing over him, anchored by her grip on his neck and shoulders. "What are you? You have SO MANY WINGS. SO MANY. One-two-three-four-five-six!!" Apparently this realization was so intense that Callisto forgot to flap, and she fell back down against Illumin. Light staggered a bit but managed to keep his footing.
Yes, definitely good that dignity wasn't as big a concern now.

Caelia grinned, apparently quite willing to fill in the blanks. "My daddy finds dead people and make them not-dead again."
To say she understood little of what her father actually did was probably an understatement. "So your brother is up there ?" She pointed upward at... well, the sun.
It would make sense that he wasn't down here, then ! "Isi and Ky are with mommy."
Neither god could make any claim at dignity right now, to be honest. The more Caelia talked, the more she leaned forward, and now Ankou's eyes were more or less covered by not only his own hair, but some of his daughter's.
Perhaps that would make some of Light's lingering vanity feel better about itself, perhaps.

"No, he is back at home, where he belongs... for now," Illumin told the godling, his tone solemn (or as solemn as it could be with his own daughter hanging off of him). "I made that sun. I am Illumin, Light." His glow brightened a bit, though not to painful levels; it was good that he could take pride in his work now. The making of the Multitude that the Crown had asked of him in penance had been a painful task. The birth of his children had been far less excruciating than the re-creation of all Suns.
So kind of Creation to bring him one last Sun, someone who could tend all the ones he himself had made. A great kindness... with a hint of irony.
"Papa made that!!" Callisto said, rather unnecessarily given Illumin's explanation. She pointed at the sun with a frantically waving hand.
