"Stupid thing...stupid...UGH...I hate you...you piece of...." she mumbled to herself as she lay on the ground and pulled at the stitches of the ugly pink bowed bear. It had been challenging her again. It had made her cry again. She hated crying. Even now hot tears poured down her face in frustration and guilt. "You'll see...I won't put you back together this time...you waste of space...you..." she growled and stopped suddenly. She needed something to stab it with. Pine needles, sticks, maybe a rock to smash its head with...all of it...All of it at the same time. Yes. She left the pink bowed bear lying on the ground to go collect these objects. "You'll see..." she murmured, growling into the distance."Please? Please play with me?"She turned and hissed at the thing loathingly. "Don't remind me...don't even start...I hate you," she almost screamed, tearing off into the forest to find sharp objects before she fell into the bear's pit of guilt.

Golden eyes widened as a wandering mare paused in the woods, realizing the faint voice she heard was not her own random thoughts. But if it wasn't herself, then who was it? Horns tipped back as the mare peered left and right cautiously, slowly realizing that the tone of the voice was not a pleasant one. Why, it almost sounded like a distressed...if not disturbed, individual. And if that was the case, Nhekayla certainly wanted to be prepared should she cross paths with the mysterious owner of this voice. Taking a wary step forward, she continued her climb up the shallow slope while weaving between tree trunks. She was near the edge of the woods at this point, and it was becoming easier to glimpse between the branches and leaves of the thinner trees. But that also meant that she herself would be easy to spot, and so she moved slowly. The voice was clearer now, and coming from some nearby location just ahead. Wait...was that an argument? Was someone being harassed and in need of help?! Suddenly, Kayla could hear the snapping of twigs and heavy footfalls. Ducking her head for cover, she could just make out the blur of something large and green dart off to her left side. W....what was that thing?!

She stopped at the base of a dried pine tree. It was obvious the tree was dying, because its needles were yellowing and had fallen to the ground around it. This would be perfect for poking holes into that stupid bear. She bent to collect the needles, but moved too quickly and found herself poked in the nose with one. She screeched in momentary shock, and continued screaming. She wasn't screaming because it hurt, she was screaming because the pain had caused her stress to hit an all-time high. She hated this world, she hated how everything fought against her, she hated that she was all alone. Eventually, her screaming subsided and after a loathful glance at the pine needles she decided that she felt a little better now. Betraying her need to dismantle the bear, she turned around.
Oh no...where had she come from? Where did she leave her bear? Someone would find it, someone would take it. She began to panic at the thought of losing it. She needed it! The smell of something new in the air did not register in her nostrils because the panic began to override everything else. "Where are you?" she hissed, looking around for signs of where she had come from.
