Cedwyn was moving slowly, his paws weary, unused to so much travel.
All of his life, everything was easy, hunting plentiful and women and song aplenty. The fire came, a line of fear and light, one day, and the young leopard moved to flee. He grew lost, wandering, and all he picked up was a ratel, a fine hunter, Festus. The male waddled after him, looking around, and Cedwyn admitted... Without him, he'd never learn the path back to the Mountain Kingdom. He walked slowly, ratel waddling along, and the pair looked forward, curious to the road home, if anyone suvived, or if the hobbits were endangered.

Now, Eira had never expected to end up in a pride below the mountain. However, the cool air had made the pale lioness very happy. Those mismatched eyes were warm, her beads clinking at her neck, large paws slowly allowing the breweress to move across the earth and through thepaths of the kingdom. She'd come close to the mouth, where the hobbits often stayed, mostly to allow herself a moment's rest, to get away from all the noise in the lower tunnels. The loud cries, and boisterous males...well, it was nice to make her way out from that area. Sighing happily, her tail flicked back and forth. Her fading mane flopped into her gaze, and would she have been more attentive....she might have seen Cedwyn. Within that moment, she ran into him, crying out in shock, "Oh! Hello! I'm sorry!"

The leopard wasn't paying attention when the female bumped into him. A squeak, and a gasp, and he fell backwards, eyes wide.
"Oh! Sorry! I'm sorry!" The leopard blinked, the hobbit readjusting his mental balance as Festus pad over, the ratel looking to the newcomer. Cedwyn shook himself out, and blinked.
"Oh, hello! I'm Cedwyn, you?"
GUESTS! He loved guests!

The femme looked at the leopard with her dual-toned jewel eyes, head tipping aside as she studied the hobbit, "Hello Cedwyn. I am sorry for bumping into you. I am Eira'ffres. A brewer from clan Schatzi." Bowing her head, the lioness brushed a paw in front of her, the large pad sweeping clear a patch of dirt. It was obvious that this might have been an old habit, from wherever she'd lived before the deep caves of the Dvergr. "What brings you to wander, Cedwyn?" She enquired, curious as to what brought the leopard this way, so unfocused.

"I..." Cedwyn thought of how to best phrase it.
"I am seeking home. The Dvergr."
The shire the hobbits kept. But he kept quiet. Wait.
"You must be from home, then...! Am I close?"
