The once prosperous town of Frankfurt, now lies as bombed out buildings and shattered windows. A true "no-man's land", Frankfurt is the last place you want to be at night.

As his eyes began to adjust, he realized that his surroundings were not at all foreign to him as he originally thought. In fact, he remembered coming here once. He wasn't able to be seen by the humans that once thrived here, but he hardly recognized where he stood had it not been for a certain bakery across the street. He remembered when this place was filled with an alluring scent of fresh backed goods of many kinds. He even 'sampled' a few himself. Now that he looked at it, all it had to offer were the memories of what everything used to be like. The walls were worn, almost looked ready to fall, the windows were either missing or broken, and the inside was stripped of practically everything. He sighed as he went inside and envisioned the business of the this place. Cobwebs were everywhere inside inside the bleak run-down store. He exited the building and began walking down the road.  ⊰♠ Avacyn Zaria ♠⊱ ╔═════════════════════════════════════════════════╗ Avacyn landed with a light tap onto the ground at Frankfurt. She looked around the desimated area. So this is Germany.... Looks a lot different then what I remembered.... Oh I'm in Frankfurt as well. Lovely. She glanced around and noticing that her wings where still unfurled she quickly folded them against her back. Hiding her wings is something that has kept her alive for the longest time. Something she had always done since she first became a Half-ling in the first place.
Avacyn sighed and proceeded to walk around the area. Keeping a look out for anything that resembled a demon or angel. She had no problems with Fallen, or humans. But never has she ever met another Half-ling. She was hoping to change that soon, but she didn't know exactly how to do so. She looked over to see a man. She was to far away thought to tell if it was a Demon or Angel. She tilted her head slightly. ╚═════════════════════════════════════════════════╝

Why did everything have to change? The thought was rather depressing to him. He stopped for a moment for one last look over the city, but there was another figure standing just down the road and looking his his direction. He recognized those wings anywhere. Black or white, it didn't matter, it was an angel. The thought gave him slight discomfort. He wasn't in the mood for a fight...not yet. He still couldn't get his mind off the bakery.
