Guifi:
For the most part Goofy spent the majority of his time on the coast either sun bathing or generally wasting his time doing what ever it was he willed. Being a gypsy for the most part was an easy life. He had some responsibilities too but for the most part this lion was a bit of a beach bum. Some would just say plane lazy and they'd be right. Lately, though, the lion had taken a fascination with jellyfish. He was both inspired by them and afraid of them. There had been one meet up with a certain lioness where he was convinced that he was turning in to one of those creatures. And what animal in their right mind would choose to be a jellyfish. Thank goodness it had been a fabrication of the facts and Guifi was still ... well... Goofy. He wasn't about to run around backwards eating people with his butt any time soon and the lion was grateful for that. Still, he was fascinated by those creatures. A small group of jellies had washed up on shore and Guifi found him self just staring at them.
Miakis:
Every day she would wake up to several small bodies curled up against her. Some...strangely looked like herself. Others looked more like her father had. The others? Well, they were odd. She couldn't recall any of their names but every morning, they insisted that she was their mother. How silly. That means they would have to have a father and she certainly didn't remember such an encounter. Of course, she didn't remember a lot of things. She couldn't give any of their names off the top of her head and often times she found herself confused when one of them just appeared behind her, toddling along and asking for food.
Presently, a white male trotted behind her, mewing pitifully for something to eat. Miakis looked back and lowered her ears. The poor dear. His mother must have been around here somewhere... what kind of a lioness would leave her cubs to starve like that? Tsk. Disgraceful.
She looked ahead, her brow creasing. Just down the beach, a familar- vaguely - figure was staring at a cluster of- OH NO.
Miakis drew in a sharp breath and went tearing down the beach, Ace in tow. "MISTER! BE CAREFUL!'
Guifi:
The voice hit the lions ears before he saw Miaki rushing his way with a little figure in tow behind her. The bulky lion tilted his head quite confused only to remember that he was indeed pretty close to the jelly fish. "Oh hello again?" This was the lioness from before who had struck up the paranoia from before. Guifi now knew it was a bunch of belony but every so often he found him self being cautious. "Can I help you?"
Miakis:
Miakis skidded to a stop but remained bouncing back and forth on her paws. The cub beside her paused and took a few slow steps away from his frantic mother. Like her, he had a pair of dark circles around his eyes. The cub took more after his grandfather than his mother in coloration but at least his mother could reconize him.... half the time.
"You have GOT to be careful! They're dangerous! The jellies they-" She looked around then leaned in close. "They bite with their butts!"
Guifi:
Guifis face was quite amused. "Well of course and if youre not careful they can turn you in to one," He sat up quite proud of him self for remembering this bit of detail. He knew it was balony but some of the prides members were still pleagued by the crazy. He supposed this female must have been one of the ones with lingering effects. "Do you remember our conversation just.. Oh well whos this?" His attention was automatically turned to the little boy beside his mother. The markings on the eyes gave it away that they must be related in some fashion but how ever they were related the lion could not be sure.
Miakis:
"THEY CAN!?" Miakis gasped and plopped her hind quarters down in the sand. A moment later she thought better of that- there were jellies nearby and she didn't want -her- bum to become stingy - and rose to a stand again.
"Thank you for telling me! Oh goodness, I wonder who they used to be? I had better check on everyone...."
Ace:
The cub rolled his eyes and sighed. Even he knew that the idea of jellies making lions into more jellies was stupid. That was kids stuff! He'd heard from a very reliable source that his mother had the tendancy to... over- think things in the worst possible light sometimes.
He perked as he was addressed and filled his chest. "I picked out "Ace" for my gypsy name. You don't get my real name yet. I don't trust you."
Guifi:
"Im only kidding of course," It was a little pay back from before. Now that Guifi knew that it was just a bunch of hyena dung he though him self clever. Truth be told that he wasn't really all that clever. More along the lines of guilable. His attention turned ot the cub. "Ace? Uh... Well then names Goofy," He paused and gave an awkward grin before turning his sights back on Aces mother.
