Angelina couldn’t sleep, so she was up and moving around the house before she decided to head towards the playground. She change from her sleeping clothes to her gray dress that had a slight tannish belt that tied around the waist, then she slip on her faded jeans and then put on her cowboy boots. She was talking to herself, tying her shoes before smiling at the rabbit bow she did on both. She touches the tip of her boots to the floor before walking over to the hanging mirror in her room. It didn’t match, but she didn’t care. She wasn’t going to dress up girly and ruin good clothing. Bad enough that she would sneak out of town to search for her father, who she believes is still alive and somewhere else. Her wardrobe would be better for her, since she runs around and act like a child even if she eight years old. Well, that is a child age so it wouldn’t be a difference if she ran around like one. The child was petite, of course she eight, only standing 3’2 and weighing only 90 pounds, making her skinny but not so skinny that her bones are showing. Her chocolate color hair curled up at the tip, making it harder for her hair to keep tidy and not messy. No matter how much she brushed her hair, it will seem the same. Angel skin was fair, an oval face with two eyes, a nose center and thick lips. Angel wonders if her freckles will go away while she grows older, noticing that it spread across her face but more were at the bridge of her nose. One thing that stands out on her face is her bright blue eyes, people always commented about how calming they are and how beautiful it is.
Something brushing up against her leg made her blink, a childish grin appearing, has she looked down to see a grayish cat. “Teddy!” she said happily, crouching down and stroking her feline. Teddy was her companion ever since she arrives here at Eden. Actually met the cat in town and ever since they became inseparable. Teddy meow, giving Angel another brush against the leg, this made Angel giggle. “Come, let go play” Angel told him, standing up and brushing herself down. Teddy had these remarkable green eyes, something that made a cool pair between the two. One with bright blue and another with green eyes, she didn’t mind though. He could’ve hazel eyes; he was her friend that didn’t ask question on what she was going to do. Angel grab her keys, it was only the key for the house, so let rephrase that. Angel grabs her key. Teddy following right behind her, his tail up high has he walked behind his companion. The door was bigger than she, but she placed the sliver key into the knob and turns it to the left. She made sure the door was locked before she turns around and walked down the dirt road to where the playground was.
The playground wasn’t that far from the housing, it only took her a good two minutes to reach the place. Teddy went ahead of her, walking up to the slide before mewing at it, now moving his left paw to touch the red plastic thing. Angelina chuckle before picking up her pace to reach the slide, and when she was in front of it her face turn into some curious. The playground wasn’t much, only having a slide, some swings and a monkey bar on one side and on the next side was an old worn basketball court. It wasn’t amazing but she could deal with. Angel walked around the slide, now climbing up to the slide and then sat down. “Ready Teddy!?” she said with excitement, her arms resting on the plastic. Teddy mew back, now sitting beside the slide and was staring up at her. With a small push, she slid down the slide. In that process, she was laughing before her feet touch the ground. “Ow” she mutters, standing up and rubbing her butt. Only part she didn’t like was the bottom part of the slide, it had something sticking up that would scratch at her behind most of the time, the others she will quickly move to the side to not get hit by it. She then pointed at the swings, and Teddy walked over now jumping onto one of the swings and holding on before it stop swinging a bit. Angel chuckle softly, now sitting on the seat beside Teddy and started swinging. “I wonder if the runner is gone… maybe he left the gate slightly open...” she whispers to herself, now glancing towards the front gate only to not see anything. Teddy only given her a meow, and when she glance at the gate, so did he. Angel will occasionally sneak out of town and try to find her father, and Teddy will be with her. Teddy kept her safe when she was outside the walls of Eden. He will warn her about the zombies or find her a safe place to hide. Sometimes he runs back to the city to get someone to get her. And when she does get caught… well she always gets punish. What can one do when they think a love one is still alive? She is eight but she is determine to find her father.
