Today’s hunting will be a good experience. That is what Eku was telling himself when he ventures off into the forest again in search for a Ysali dragon. It will be different because he’s not alone there anymore. Walking by his side is his brand new friend Vilzun and he looks rather excited seeing how the young drakein was looking around in the new surroundings. It must be so strange since they’re no longer at the city where he grew up from when he was an egg. The voodoo boy placed his hand on the drakein’s head to give him a comforting petting. “Don’ che worry Vilzun. Everytin will be fine.” He comforted him as they walked around the forest floor; behind every tree and every bush. But so far they haven’t found a single dragon yet. Vilzun didn’t seem to care at all as he’s busy biting every single thing that he sees and sometimes Eku that he manages to outrun him.
But the duo finally saw one just up ahead, a Ysali dragon who is eating alone. He looked around to see if there are any other dragons and so far there are none. This is a good sign. For sure he won’t be chased out of the forest now and will get another kill and orb. When Eku looked down, he noticed that VIlzun is not right next to him. “Vilzun? Oy! Vilzun, whereja go?” He whispered in hush tones to see him up ahead with the Ysali dragon. He couldn’t believe what he saw as the two were having lovely conversation. He wanted to face palm on just how friendly Vilzun is being with the target when they were supposed to do the complete opposite. But he decided to stay put and watch. Maybe he is trying to distract the dragon so he can attack? Maybe that's it! But then, he saw the Ysali dragon looking over to him through the bushes and Eku panic. Damnit! Vilzun told it!!! And just before he can escape, the roots grew up due to the dragon's power and tangled up his feet as he's trapped. The voodoo boy lost his balanced and then Eku practically face plant into the ground; growling with rage.
Soon, he was joined with Vilzun who showed up right in front of him like a faithful dog. But the young boy wasn't so happy with him as he finally looked up and wipes the dirt off. "Vilzun . . . ya s'pose to help Eku!" He raised his voice at him but that apparently didn't phase the drakein at all. Instead, he reached down and took a bite of his hand while he's still trapped in the roots and he screamed out loud. "VILZUUUUUUN!!!"
