Leli'takata was having an excellent swim.
Although the weather was hot(for the snow lion), the water considerably helped and, for the first time since coming to the rogue lands, he didn't regret or have a constant thought of going back. Of course, he was obligated to return to his pride... he was on the Ice Council and a seer. But, at the moment, he just didn't feel like leaving.
Wadding over to the enchantress lounging near the edge, he came closer, eyes sparkling with joy. "When I asked you to join me," Leli began, coming even closer to where he was hardly a foot away. He kept eye contact, smiling gently; a mischevious glint sparked in his eyes. "It was meant for you to swim with me!" And with that, he wrapped his front legs around her and pulled her in, using his own neck to press against her and maintain the hold.
The action, for the most part, had him submerged for half a second. Surfacing, he let out a laugh, shaking his head of full mane to try and rid of some of the water. Tara de Draiocht This is roleplay 3 out of 5 needed. = u=

Mala looked at Leli with wide eyes. He wanted her...in there? He--eep! He was pulling her in! OMGOSH! NONONO!NO--well this wasn't too bad. Mala clung to him as he pulled them out further. Ohnonono he's sinking and I'm going to follow! Eep! Oh phew, it was just a quick rinse. She tried not too let her inner thoughts appear on the outside. She did not want him to think she was a wuss. She took a deep breath and smiled the best she could. The floating was nice and... peaceful. "So...tell me about your pride. What is it like? Does it have water there too? When do you have to go back there?" The question made her sad but lets face it. It was a fact of life others came and went.

Leli nearly grinned ear to ear at her reaction. Oh, he wasn't normally so forward. Why, although he was considered to be rather happy and jolly, he was still a bit reserved in forcing people. Not that she minds, he amended to himself, eyeing her with amusement. "Not used to the swim, I take?" he jested, giving her a toothy grin.
He wasn't too deep in the river, it was rather shallow, just up to his chin. He supported her, however, for he was quite certain it would be over her head. Letting out a pleasant hum, he decided that this was much better than dying from the heat.
"It's perfect. Cold, snowy, and pure. The King Yeti isn't so much of a bad guy, either." he informed her with a soft look. "One of my... well, vision." he admitted this lightly, before moving on. "It led me into the snowy lands, along with Tulizo. Before that, I had lived in a cooler climate that held plenty of shade. I used to be able to tolerate this heat; it's seems I was spoiled by the mountain." Shaking his head, he winked. "Well, I suppose I wouldn't have met you any other way. The water we do have is under frozen ice, which is easily attainable but not always safe; if you crack the ice the wrong way, it's possible to be completely submerged."
At her last question, he paused, glancing up at the sky. Finally, he met her eyes. "As it is, I return in intervals to recover before heading into the rogue lands again. As for how long I'll be here until I return for an indefinite amount of time... I'm not quite sure. When I find what I'm looking for, I suppose." His eyes furrowed at this. "I will dread that day, Mala. I have grown quite fond of you." Tara de Draiocht Sorry for the wait! I'll definitely get his roleplays in. e 3e

Mala blinked in shock, "Are you part seer?" She had heard of such a race, those lucky enough to be blessed from the gods. All of his description of coldness made her shiver, it sounded alright but lordy to be cold all the time? She shook her head but she realized how close she was to the other male. The movement caused her to rub her cheeks against his. "Sorry!" She blurted out with a blush. "I myself have found myself quite fond of you too." A pang came from her heart at the thought of having to part ways with such a fluffy and cute fellow. "But until that day let's just enjoy the time we have you know? After this swim is there anything you had in mind?" Mala lightly splash him trying to leave the sadness behind and replace it with playfulness.

Leli hesitated at the shock and even more to the question. He should of expected such a reaction after disclosing the facts. However, as the light current swayed past him and Leli studied Mala, he found he didn't quite mind the curiosity. So, he smiled. "I would hope so." he said with a chuckle, shaking his head. "Neither of my parents were Gods so, the only other explanation I would have besides being a seer would be I've lost my mind." Leli raised his eyes heavenward in exasperation. "And that, my dear, is not that case."
A shiver ran through his body as she accidentally rubbed her cheek against his, nearly dragging a purr. "Oh, not a problem." he murmured, rubbing his cheek intentionally against her. Hopefully, he had been reading the signs right. When she informed him on just what he wanted to hear, he grinned. So it isn't one sided, he thought with contentment.
He nodded in agreement. "Let's." Leli's ears flattened against his head. He would have to get out of the water eventually, wouldn't he? Eyeballing the skies and high sun, he pondered for a moment. "Well, I suppose we could find a bite to eat. Pisha must be beside herself worried now. But she'll find me eventually." Leli didn't doubt that the hare would belt out a lecture on how she could of been eaten by heathens or savages or whatever choice words she had for most rogues.

"Oh dear, oh dear. I hope you haven't lost your mind." Mala gave him sad eyes. Bad things happened to those that did. She had seen one cheetah descend slowly into madness...and they ended up killing themselves. The thought of that happening to Leli broke her heart. His next words reassured her and she let out a sigh. Mala squeaked and if she could she would have turned a bright cherry red as the male rubbed against her. No one had ever done that before and before she could stop it a purr motored out in response to his.
"Yes I could eat." Mala almost frowned at the mentioning of Pisha. The thought of having to share Leli with another female regardless of species... oh no. She was becoming too attached already! "But for now lets... lets just float along." She hummed out a tune and batted at the fish that were brave enough to come near them.

Leli chuckled at this, nudging his forehead onto hers. "Trust me, my dear. Only sign I have besides the visions of having insanity is venturing out into these lands. And even then, I've found it hard to call it crazy, seeing as I've met you." he murmured, laughing at the squeak gently. Oh, she was an interesting thing. His heart dropped into his stomach. Although he would hardly be able to see her, he still hoped to visit very often.
He wanted to be connected to her, somehow. The thought made him blink as a brief image of him with a younger copy of this lovely one following him around. Oh, he couldn't dare to ask such a thing from her, to have her bare his children for such selfish reasons. And yet... he couldn't just leave the rogue lands without a reason to keep coming back, to keep seeing her.
He didn't dare ask it, though. He would cherish these precious moments with her. "Do you enjoy the water?" he asked, to distract him from his thoughts. He watched as she batted at the water, grinning at the simple sport. Leli, really pushing his boundaries, rested his head against the side of her neck, watching as she preoccupied herself with the creatures.Tara de Draiocht Post 4/5. Mala stopped playing with the fish for a moment to blink and look up to the sky using his fluffy mane as a pillow in thought, "I don't mind the water but love it? Mmm not really. The only use I have for it is to bathe or drink." Those words being said she went back to batting at the underwater creatures. At some level she acknowledge him laying his head down on her shoulder by relaxing further into his body. "This is nice." Her words slipped out with a contented sigh. "I could do this all day-" with you. "-regardless of number of mats this water would cause." She never felt such a connection before and maybe Leli felt the same way. It would be nice to find out and maybe she would find a way to be with him all the time. Not just for one day.

Leli was quite thrilled when the other didn't mind his touches and affectionate gestures; in fact, his heart nearly soared when the other returned them with her own. Smiling quite contently, ears perked with happiness, he realized that, at this moment, he was the happiest he had ever been in his life. What a dream this was, meeting this wonderful lioness who had practically saved his life. "Ah, then you simply haven't enjoyed it enough." he murmured, nuzzling her. What a very lovely scent. "I find it very enjoyable, a water at this temperature. It's refreshing and satisfying; swimming in the water at Schnee la Neige'milima is a bit more challenging; it's too dark to see the bottom and very cold. But, nonetheless, swimming in it is a very enjoyable practice." he murmured, before furrowing his eyebrows a bit. "Of course, it's also very easy to get sick from it. I wouldn't advise it, actually." Feeling foolish for contradicting himself, he cleared his throat, before letting out a chuckle.
"This is nice. If only time could stop for a while longer." he murmured, before shaking his head. "It's probably best we get out before the sun goes down; I would hate if you caught a cold for not being able to dry your fur properly." And with that, he waded to the edge. Oh, what a lovely lioness. He wanted to make her his. However, he couldn't possibly make her commit to the snowy lands. He wasn't even sure at the extent of her feelings. They hardly knew each other.
But this connection he felt with her, after only hours of knowing her... it couldn't possibly be a fabrication.

It was funny. Leli almost reminded Mala of her father. Not just in body mass but in personality. A smile crossed her face as she listened to him talk. He really was adorable and she hadn't sensed any bad vibes about him. She was a good judge of character. "Yes," Mala murmured back. "If only time stood still when you want it too." Withholding a whine Mala nodded reluctantly, it was time to dry off. Such a gentlelion, Mala preened when he helped her out of the water. "Thank you!" She followed him to a patch of sun and flopped down gracefully next to him to preserve body heat.
This was nice and with his extra body heat she found her lids drooping. Maybe should could do it. Maybe she could give the snow lands a try. Nothing ventured and nothing gained. Her fathers words echoed in her head as she drifted off cuddled up to a dozing Leli.
