I'm pinning together some gorgeous midnight-blue velvet to make a third Doctor cosplay.

That's cool. smile
I am writing, but I can't always help but feel there's something off or something is missing? I am never sure if that's a good thing or not.

I'm trying to figure out if catching up on Aku no Hana is worth the terrible afterfeels while messing with Akinator.

Toontastic I'm trying to figure out if catching up on Aku no Hana is worth the terrible afterfeels while messing with Akinator. I take it that's an anime? What's it about? I know about not wanting to deal with feels, though. Recently I decided to stop rewatching six Doctor serials because I couldn't deal with Mindwarp.

I think I am in a massive "get rid of all clutter" mood ever since I went to visit my boyfriend's mother. The woman is a hoarder and I have several of the signs of becoming one.

Aku no Hana is an anime about an awkward highschool literature boy who's life is changed forever after crazy sees him making the poor decision of stealing a popular girl's gym clothes. It's a pretty solid show, but it's almost too good at activating your gtfo instincts.

An epic fantasy adventure. I couldn't tell whether I wanted it to be a game, a graphic novel, or just a novel. *sigh* I donno. I think it's too emotional. Should I let that stop me? rofl I always write something and than later on I just want to change it. The universe is gigantic so I am starting to think maybe I need a team of different minds to help me sort out the confusion. I want it to be interesting, fun, and filled with adventure and comedy... but all the feels leading up to that are key... and there are way too many feels.

How much of a hoarder is she? Is it "just a bunch of stuff you know perfectly well she doesn't need", or "actual mental illness she needs treatment for"? It's so hard to tell which people mean online. For some people, the only difference between hoarding and stockpiling is whether or not they are in neat matching boxes bought at Joann's. My brother has a rather odd collection which some people might think boarders on hoarding: he takes disposable cups from different parties and events, writes the date on the bottom and keeps them next to his computer.

Well, that seems like a pretty strange concept for a show, but I'm a Whovian so I can't really poke fun at other shows' concepts being a bit silly. It rather reminds me of that pub game; describe your favorite game or show while making it sounds as lame as possible.

I did that with the novella I've been writing last week, and it really helped me find where the storylines weren't meshing properly. That's rather different than the problem I've been having recently when writing. I keep imagining a social justice blogger tearing into how the female characters in my novel are not their ideals of empowered womanhood, and therefore I am a misogynist. Now, I'm not saying that it's impossible for a woman to be a misogynist, but writing a female character being feminine, particularly in a historical setting, isn't misogynist.

She has two houses next door to each other and both have only paths that you can walk to get to one room from another where stuff is piled up to the ceiling. Plus their garage is full, AND they have a P.O.D that's jammed full of stuff.

Now, I'm not saying that it's impossible for a woman to be a misogynist, but writing a female character being feminine, particularly in a historical setting, isn't misogynist. I haven't tried writing a plot diagram. I shall do sooo at once. Thanks. It's funny because I remember them from school although I wouldn't have thought to even use one. Shows how much I know. As far as misogyny goes I think there is a really fine line. I can't really see anyone pointing fingers at you for that but than again people love to do just that. Still... There are a million other ways to be misogynistic. I say if anyone brings it up just tell it like it is. You should be able to put what you want into your work without that feeling of restriction. For me it just feels kind of like a personal restriction. I don't like feeling like it's too dark where it shouldn't be or something? Maybe I just need art? Maybe I just need opinions? Hopefully the diagram is going to help me out with this a little and give me a better picture.
