The village of Soragakure has always been at war with overpopulation. Over the years war and other medical issues have swept through the village, wiping out a large portion of the people who inhabit it. This has left a huge section of Soragakure empty and devoid of life. These areas have been taken over by the local ninja and now serve as a city-style training grounds.

HAYATE UZUMAKI [Genin][Shouran][Uzumaki][Sensor]
Hayate squeezed through two wooden planks, pushing aside some trashcans on the other end of the fence. He stood up straight and looked around at his childhood playground. Getting away from the fast life was hard, but nobody actually lived in these parts anymore. Only the occasional bum. He used to like hiding in one of the buildings and watching the older ninja train and spar. Now he was one of those older ninja and it was his time to train. "Friggin' Kaisen-sama puttin' me on some squad fer some trainin'." Hayate said to no one in particular. He pushed his hands in to his pockets and walked around, trying to find a comfortable place to train. When he was ready he stopped and lifted up his shirt.
Hayate's body was covered in seals, all shapes and sizes. He bent forward, forcing his abs to flex. "We have to prepare!" Yate said, mimicking Kaisen in an incredibly inaccurate and girly voice. Hayate opened and closed his mouth with a grimace on as he read his seals, finally locating the one he needed. He placed his fingertips on it and then pushed lightly, his fingers seemingly entering his ribs. An orange glow gave off from the seal as Yate dug around. "It's always somethin' fer nothin' around here." Hayate continued, flinching and giggling as he dug deeper. "Where did I put this damned- There we go!" Hayate's fingers closed around a scroll and he pulled it straight out of his rib seal. He unraveled it and placed a rock atop it, to keep it open.
Hayate bent down and sat on his heels, squinting at the scroll and reading over the technique he wished to learn. "Puts a whole new meanin' to fish outta water." Yate said as he blow on his fingertips, rubbing his hands together and then creating a simple set of seals. The pull from his chakra was instantaneous, and Hayate knew it would work. He pushed his fingertips into the dirt, watching them sink with foreign ease. Hayate leaned forward and closed his eyes and mouth, entering the ground. When he felt his body fully submerged he flopped around, wondering how best to move. He slowly opened on eye, and was quite amazed when he could see through the earth. It wasn't far, not nearly as far as he could normally see, but it was definitely cool. "Well ain't that a trip!" Hayate exclaimed, bending his knees and pushing forward. He brought his hands together and cut through the earth as if he was in water, pushing it and pulling it to propel himself forward. He was having a blast, right up until the earth suddenly halted his advance. Yate's face slammed right into the suddenly unyielding stone, and dirt filled his mouth. He choked for a moment and new it was time to leave. Yate begin to claw skyward, finally bursting through the earth. He gasped for air, spitting chunks of dirt clods out.
Hayate refocused on his task, wanting to continue training before any interruptions happened. There were two sorts of clones he could learn, both of which served different purposes. The heavier earthen one would fulfill Hayate's defensive purposes. The Dust clone was faster, and would burst upon impact and send dust straight at his opponent with the goal of blinding his target. Yate figured he should go ahead and learn both of them. He brought his hands together and began to weave seals, generating the chakra and exerting his energy. The earth around him stirred, but it did not rise straight from the ground. Instead all of the dust and dirt began to swirl and form into a humanoid shape. When the dust fell away Hayate was staring at his own face. He nodded his head and then bent to the floor, sweeping the legs of his clone out from beneath it and then raised his leg, slamming it down and destroying it. The clone burst outward and send dust flying in every direction.
Hayate looked down at his toned body with a rather ponderous face. The only reason he wasn't flabby was because being a ninja pretty much forbade that. He lifted his arms and flexed, suddenly dismayed. Hayate had no upper body strength. He sighed and leaned backward, gazing at the scroll for ideas. Yate sat up and rose to his feet, his hands forming seals. When the chakra was payed he leaned down and grabbed handfuls of dirt in his hands. He began to rub the dirt all over his arms and watched it harden before his eyes. Hayate smashed the two bracers together and listened to the satisfying clinks and smiled.
After smashing his bracers against a wall a few times to get them off Hayate turned back to his omnipotent scroll. The last technique at this level was incredibly useful. A shield that grew in power the more control he had over his chakra. He could protect himself from most attacks, as earth was sturdy and hardy. On top of that, he would be able to protect any of his allies. It didn't take him long to master the seals, and when he bent down he watched the earth rise up and defend. His knees. Yate sighed and reached down, plucking the shield out of the earth and holding it up before him.

HAYATE UZUMAKI [Genin][Shouran][Uzumaki][Sensor]
Hayate ran one nail underneath the other, trying to dig the dirt out from underneath. It had taken him 10 minutes to just clean off what he could of his hair. Yate looked at the scrolls as he flicked dirt off of his hand. "Ya think these things would come with a warnin' or somethin'." Hayate said, taking a bit more time to clean himself off. He had removed his shirt, figuring his mother wouldn't appreciate him coming home completely covered in dirt. He read over the next technique, Earth Clone. Yate scratched his chin as he read, nodding his head and talking to himself. "Tough clone eh? Sounds simple." Hayate brought his hands together once more, this time forming different seals. Yate had always had an easy time with physically manifesting his chakra. Maybe it was because of his affinity with seals, but it was second nature. Even now there were dozens of things sealed on his body. Hayate even had a full picnic sealed away in case he got hungry. He leaned down and placed his hands on the ground, pushing his chakra into it. Two feet from him the earth began to rise and form into a humanoid shape. The dirt then began to fall away slowly, revealing Hayate's own face beneath it. Yate waited for the process to finish patiently. When it was done he examined his handy work. "Ya know, I can see why the ladies love ya, as dumb as that is." Hayate said to his clone, who smirked and shrugged his shoulders. He turned, and then rapidly pivoted, sticking his arm out and clothes lining his clone. The clone staggered, and pieces of it split off, but it still stood. He bent his knee back and then shot out his leg, breaking the clone into little pieces of rock and dirt. [Earth Clone]

Hairs stood up on end as a metallic pinging sounded in the distance, echoing well past where Mantus stood and continued throughout the entirety of the abandoned city. This place was eerie, too eerie considering all that had happened here. Massive overpopulation, disease, rioting, and eventually, the place turned into a ghost town. It was now a ghost town that shinobi trained in regularly, and while it was useful to test one's stealth abilities in a place like this, Mantus was simply too unnerved at the moment to focus on his training. He wasn't usually a timid person, but the creepiness level of the old city really hit home with him. He thought about all the people that were here before, how they died horribly, among other things that could of happened here that wasn't explained. His mind ran rampant, ideas and fictional stories of ghosts and demons working their way into his head. Figments of overactive imaginations shouldn't of been taken seriously, especially for someone like himself, who lived in the factual explanation of things."I'll just have to prove it then. I'm the only one here."Opening his palm, a few kikaichu skittered from the inner folds of his attire and began to flit about in different directions. If it would put his mind at rest and let him train properly, a little recon wouldn't hurt anybody. A few minutes passed before the insects returned, having scoured a great distance with their tiny wings. As Mantus held his hand out and let them land, he brought them to the bridge of his nose and 'listened'.
"Hm? There's someone there?"Mantus' eyes shot to the Southeast direction of the city. One of his bugs spotted a male shinobi, making clones and training with himself."Well... It's not so bad if there's someone else nearby. Relax, Mantus. Focus on training..."Once he'd calmed his nerves, Mantus took a deep breath, and let his mindset shift to that of a shinobi. Surveying his surroundings, Mantus decided a good place to practice one of his clan's techniques would be inside one of the abandoned buildings. Entering into what appeared to be an old restaurant, Mantus let his eyes adjust to the dark of the room. The first thing that was obvious was the amount of space. A large room with a few scattered tables and chairs, most overturned, were about the floor. A faded bar with broken stools lining it stood aside from the rest of the empty place. The Aburame entered fully, walking to one of the room corners and set his back against it, then slouched to the floor. Not entirely comfortable, but it would give him enough stability to keep his eye on the door, in case anyone tried to sneak up on him (which again, was unlikely)."First step, done; Locate a safe place."Step two was easier than step one, as all that was required was for Mantus to relax and focus solely on his chakra. The minutes passed and the Aburame child could feel the multiplication of his bugs. His own clansmen had warned him of practicing this technique, for the number of bugs that increased, the less chakra he would have to spare. Noted. Mantus continued to focus on feeding his chakra to the new larvae.
Technique • Insect Coccoon Rank: D This unique technique allows the user to accelerate the growth of their insects. As the user's body is already a hive of sorts for the insects, the user will encase themselves in an actual cocoon to further aid the insects. This is an extremely useful move for Aburame clan members, since their attacks mainly focus on the usage of bugs. However, using this in the midst of a battle can be potentially dangerous as it leaves the user static and vulnerable. As such when this technique is being employed, the user generally finds a safe location or otherwise can be guarded by their team-mate. By transferring chakra throughout their bodies the Aburame is able to force their kikaichu to breed and produce more beetles. The conversion rate for chakra to Bug Points is 1.5 bugs for every 1 point of chakra.

HAYATE UZUMAKI [Genin][Shouran][Uzumaki][Sensor]
"Huh, what?" Hayate said, the ghostly echo of something reverberating throughout his little area. He paused, ceasing all movements in favor of listening. Ever since he was little he had heard tales of this place being haunted, but he was sure it had just been the older kids trying to get a rise out of him. But now, as he crouched, frozen in position, he was beginning to seriously doubt in the falsities of spirits. Yate swallowed calmly and rose to his full height, scratching his stomach as he looked around. It was fairly later in the night, and he was sure he had come here alone. His keener than normal eyes peered at the dark spots around in, imagining ghouls and ghasts lurking in every shadow. It was then that Hayate raised his hand to his head and slapped himself on the forehead. "I swear I must be dumb sometimes." He said, focusing his thoughts to his sensing. Yate would be able to feel every chakra source around him, for miles and miles. He wouldn't be able to tell specifics about people, but he could locate them. Hayate closed his eyes and imagined himself soaring high above the ghost town. He looked down at the area around him, and gave a bit of a girly shriek. There were a crap ton of miniscule dots running around the area, and one larger source. They seemed to be moving away from the larger source, but Hayate had not been sure until they all turned and headed back to the large source. "Curioser and curioser..." Hayate mumbled to himself, deciding to head over to the beam of chakra he could feel. His journey wasn't very long, and Hayate did not try to hide himeslf. He was in Soragakure, that source was a comrade. When Hayate made it to the building that Mantus was staying in, he knocked on the frame of a door no longer present and poked his head in. "Yo, ya gettin' some trainin' in here?" Hayate said before leaning against the frame, crossing his arms over his chest.
"Life ain't that short. Take yer time and experience it all."

K a z e T a b e r u [Genin][Sacrificial Sensor][Taberu][Ninjutsu]
Kaze buzzed by from the skyrails and jumped down onto the ground, breaking his fall with a stylish roll. The young Genin looked around and didn't see anyone in the location he arrived in, Strange . . . I thought Hayate-sempai would be here . . . Ah wait . . . there he is. Kaze was a sensor by blood, and so was his friend, Hayate's unique chakra signature lit up in the Genin's mind. He was just over by a doorway of some sort. Ah well, I'll just get started on my training . . . I've seen mom's taijutsu and read lots of books on this . . . and I have pretty good chakra control. I think I could make something out of it. Kaze thought to himself before he closed his eyes and calmed his mind and body. The most basic part of this was footwork and attacks. From observing and reading, Kaze had a good idea of what to do. The normally bookish young boy seemed to turn into someone entirely different as he concentrated. He began with basic movements, the first one in his mind was a normal foot technique, to close the distance from him and his opponent. Kaze performed the action by just pushing strength into his feet and dashing forward. That was easy enough . . . next Another simple one, a way to retreat from an opponent, it was simple, just a dash backwards, Kaze did so as he thought that this was a bit too easy. The Genin stopped to think a moment. With both of the foot techniques he performed, an opponent could easily read them . . . if only he could neutralize the appearance of it . . . A little thought burst into his mind, just like walking up walls and with everything else that most shinobis do . . . he could apply chakra to his feet or ankles to enhance the movement.
This time Kaze performed the forward dash again, but ended up going way too far. That's not right . . . I could reduce the chakra usage in my feet but it's already barely anything . . . maybe if I just try . . . walking? The genin moved back to his original spot and just tried that. He ended up in a blink of an eye in front of the spot he wanted to be at, it was perfect. With enough training with this he could run circles around his opponents while "walking." Kaze guessed that it would be right to just call these foot techniques, walking techniques now. With a little smile Kaze tried doing the retreat, though mostly successful, he ended up tripping over something and onto his back, knocking the breath out of him as he did so. After a few seconds he got up and recomposed himself. There were still a bit more to do with the walking techniques, now that he's got the flow covered, Kaze closed his eyes, and imagined an opponent in front of him and opened his eyes. The next step that he wanted to try was something that made it possible to evade his opponent's attack and gaze. Evasion. With a blur of a movement, to anyone who's eyes were not trained for combat, the boy would have just disappeared from view and reappeared right behind them. With the excellent chakra control he already had, Kaze was able to perform these techniques nearly flawlessly. The next two techniques that were in Kaze's minds were one to attack someone with, a very offensive technique and the one after that was a bit too hard for him to try out right now.
As Kaze was only a Genin and lacked the proper training, even with his good chakra control he wouldn't be able to perform the last walking technique in his mind. Instead of lingering on it, Kaze focused on the Attack Step. When one was fighting an opponent, they should see how their enemy's feet work. if you know how it works, you can neutralize their attacks almost completely by tripping them up. Combining it with the other walking techniques, Kaze could potentially become very strong. For a while, Kaze repeated these steps, throwing in a few punches, open palms, and even kicks, pivoting around and utilizing these steps until he worked up a bit of a sweat. Kaze closed his eyes and took off his coat, revealing his white t-shirt, the cool breeze of Soragakure blew through the abandoned training grounds, refreshing the young Genin. He still had more to do but a break for now would be perfect for him to catch his breath.

The downside of this ability is that since the user suppresses their chakra they are unable to use sense other targets.
It had been approximately four minutes before Mantus noticed a 'blip' on his chakra radar. He was still a little shaky on using his sensory skills, but when one was this in-tune with nature, the 'blip' felt more like a tidal wave."Yo, ya gettin' some trainin' in here?"Make that an incessant banging. Mantus slowly opened his olive-colored eyes, glaring at the newcomer with his jaw set. He really didn't expect anybody to be this close to him, much less find him. After one glance at the man's arm, Mantus relaxed a little. Considering he was literally coated to the wall with his own perspiration, he was glad it was a neutral party that had found him instead of a potential enemy. Under the strain of his focus, Mantus struggled to answer."Why... Yes. But hey, don't be shy... Pull up a chair..."It took Mantus a minute to realize that even though internally he was expending a lot of energy, it looked like he was just sitting down... In a really hardcore way. The sweat mixed in with the glare might've made Mantus seem crazy at first, until he finally realized he had to explain himself.
"I'm currently... Increasing the... Productivity... of my Insects. You'll have to excuse me... For not... Standing to greet you."What else could he say? "Sorry, there are over 10,000 bugs having intercourse within my gut, wanna watch?" Some things, no matter how hilarious, just didn't need to be vocalized."What.... About yourself? You seem to be... Training also."Light conversation wouldn't take away his focus, so long as he kept his numbers in check. When the insect orgy started pouring into his lungs, he'd have to cut them off."In case... It's not already been made clear... I'm an Aburame... Mantus Aburame.... It's a pleasure..."

Kyro felt like a kid in a candy store, flipping over and under rusted old pipes, while dodging the jets of scalding hot steam shooting out of them. "I've always heard the rumors, but jeeze, this place really is a ghost town.." he thought to himself, as he slid down a large pipe to solid ground. He yanked off his rucksack and started rustling though it. Pulling out 3 scrolls and 6 needles, Kyro got to work. He laid out the scrolls in a triangular pattern, about 5 feet away from each other. He anchored them in with the needles, one on each side of the scroll. Walking up to the first scroll, Kyro bent down and ran his finger over it, studying it to the best of his ability. He then walked over to a nearby wall, tied a kunai to a pipe, and took a deep breath. "Alright, let's try this out..." he mumbled, recreating the set of seals shown on the scroll. As he completed the last seal, the air against his hands started to shimmer and crackle. "Woohoo!" Kyro yelled, as he walked up to the kunai suspended from the pipe. He rotated his hand around it, making it spin and twirl.
Happy with the results of the first scroll, Kyro rolled it back up and returned it to his rucksack. "Now for the next one." he proclaimed excitedly, walking over to the second scroll. Once again, he bent down to analyze it. "oh awesome, this looks promising" he laughed to himself, snapped the kunai off the pipe, and scored a huge X into the wall. Walking back to the scroll, Kyro once again copied the hand signs. This time he heard the crackling and felt the swirling again, but only in his right hand, and much more concentrated. He focused his chakra towards his hand, the air swirling stronger, and now visible by yellow strands of lightning crackling around. Kyro played with the ball in his hands for a few moments, extremely joyful he could conjure up such a creation. He then drew back his arm, and launched the ball as hard as he could at the wall. As soon as it left his hand, it curved left, and exploded as it collided with a pipe. "That's definitely going to need some fine tuning."
"Alright, last one." Kyro huffed, as he returned the second scroll as well. He leaned down, studied the final scroll, and chucked a kunai into the wall for a target. He then copied the hand signs from his final scroll. His body began to tingle, as he could feel the electricity in the air around him being absorbed into his chakra. he held his arm out in front of him, and brought his hand up as if he was about to hi-five someone. suddenly, a jolting rush started to run through his arm from his shoulder, and not a moment later, a small bolt of lightning propelled from his hand, almost instantaneously connecting with the kunai, sending a web of lightning crackling up the wall. Kyro looked at his hand in disbelief. "I... I did it... I actually did it!" he rejoiced, tucking his last scroll into his bag. "Now to try to get my aim better with that electron..."

HAYATE UZUMAKI [Genin][Shouran][Uzumaki][Sensor]
Hayate scratched at the back of his neck, feeling a bit odd knowing that there were more than just himself and Mantus in the room. A lot more than just them. He had never seen such a thing before, but through Mantus' strained introduction understood it. Comprehension passed across his face and Hayate nodded his head. An Aburame, he had read about that clan. He wracked his brain for a moment, trying to think about to the Clan's origins. They held a large basis in the old and destroyed leaf village. They had some sort of symbiotic agreement with the bugs, dealing with the trading of chakra for the bugs complete servitude. What unsettled Hayate was that the bugs literally lived within the person. Hayate realized he was staring at Mantus, which was rude. He cleared his throat and waved his hand in the air dismissively at Mantus' apology, then nodding his head about the training. "I can tell yer uh, workin' hard here. Hayate Uzumaki, nice to meet ya." Hayate said, walking into the room and forgoing the chair. He still had some things to learn, so he intended to multi-task.
Yate pulled up his shirt and reached into his seal once more, the orange glow giving off as he pulled out the earth scroll. He placed it on a table and looked upward, gauging the size of the ceiling. Yate had some space to work with his techniques. He bent down to read the scroll but seemed distracted. There was definitely something he wanted to ask Mantus, but didn't know if it was rude. He decided to just screw it and go for it. "I-I got to ask bud. Those uh," Hayate rubbed his face looking for the right word, trying to remember exactly what it was that the Aburame worked with. "Beatles? That right there don't feel...weird at all?" He said, reading through the scroll and settling on a technique. Most of them at the genin level were crap and useless since he was a sensor, but that merely meant he could retain more higher leveled ones. He decided on the Mound Creation, a good defense for water techniques. The hand seals came easily and Hayate looked down at the floor, now realizing he was standing on wood. "Well, this should be interestin'." He said under his breath, channeling the chakra through his hands and bending down. It took a moment, but then the planks beneath his feet began to crack and shoot upward. "Whoa now!" Hayate exclaimed, stumbling backward as the mound continued rising, breaking more of the floor boards and almost touching the ceiling. Hayate scratched his chin and observed his handy work proudly.

K a z e T a b e r u [Genin][Sacrificial Sensor][Taberu][Ninjutsu]
Kaze took in a deep breath and tossed his jacket on the ground. The next techniques that the Genin was thinking about were all offensive. Like many medical shinobi, Kaze knew theories and a lot of medical knowledge. Since he was a child, Kaze had been sickly and the only thing he could do is read and the only books and scrolls in his house were medical texts. He learned about the Eight Gates of chakra. According to his own theory, pouring chakra into the fifth and sixth gates of chakra, Limit and View will serve as chakra storage points. He sat down right on the spot, focusing his chakra into those two points, it felt strange but it didn't feel quite right. Kaze closed his eyes and made a hand sign with both his hands, making a circle at his abdomen. He also began to run scenarios in his head. There had been points when he as at the Academy and there were a few bullies around. Even as he was recovering, he hadn't been exactly strong. He remembered the painful punches and kicks, the rocks being thrown. In his mind he ran through all the possibilities. Dodging, retaliating, receiving, defending. After a while he felt that his chakra had been stored to it's peak but felt a small drain in his body. It felt oddly refreshing.
Kaze stood up brushing his butt off. Now that he had the meditation done and fresh scenarios in his mind, he was ready to test out his offensive techniques. Timing for this was everything. Again from the minds of the medical shinobi, when put in danger, they could fight back with chakra infused attacks. For Kaze it was nearly the same with one minor difference. His attacks exploded, chakra bursting to create an explosion, timing was everything. Kaze moved his arm and fist back and punched, and let out a yelp of pain as the chakra went off too early, making his arm swing back. A large burning sensation in his hand and the raw feeling of his arm told him that it if he made the timing mistakes, he would certainly pay for it. "Argh! . . . ow ow ow! GEEZ!" Kaze cursed to himself and rubbed his arm and hand waiting until it the pain started to fade. Alright . . . time to try again. Kaze punched a nearby wall an explosion rang out in the the air as he did so. A chunk of the wall was missing and a small bit of steam looked like it was coming fromhis hand. Awesome. The Genin marveled at this new strength. It was amazing, finally he'd have a good chance to fight against someone. He wouldn't be useless in a fight. Alright . . . calm down and let's try that next one . . . Kaze twisted around jumping up into the air before bringing his foot down on the ground, a burst of chakra exploded beneath him, a smallish medium crater appearing beneath him. Ha! I DID IT! This is so awesome! Kaze was definitely getting the timing down all thanks to his great chakra control. He did a little dance and tripped, panicking for a second a burst of chakra made him launch forward towards a wall, with a loud cry he focused chakra into his shoulder as he crashed into a wall. When Kaze opened his eyes, he was safe, a circular shield-like shape of chakra was just fading. It had made a small round indent in a nearby iron wall. Kaze blinked and laughed again exhilarated by this. He had to find Hayate and show him. Walking forward, Kaze vanished and appeared in front of his jacket, scooping it up and jumping on buildings to get to his friend. Within a few minutes he skidded to a stop in front of sempai. "Hayate-sempai! I just did something awesome!"

While picking up his rucksack, a muffled explosion forced Kyro to freeze up. "What the...!" he questioned, eyes darting in different directions, attempting to pinpoint the location from which the sound erupted. He threw the rucksack onto his back, and darted toward where the blast echoed. Mid-sprint, catching his foot in a hole, Kyro smashed his face into the ground. "Augh!" he yelped, as grabbed his face, he turned around to see a small crater. "Woah, that's a serious blow." he muffled admiringly. "How did I not see that....?" Dusting himself off, he clambered to his feet. "Hey! whoever made this, a little warning sign or something would be nice!" Kyro shouted, attempting to grab the attention of anyone in the area.

HAYATE UZUMAKI [Genin][Shouran][Uzumaki][Sensor]
Before Mantus had a chance to answer some sort of explosion went off. Hayate flinched at the noise and cast out his sensory net. Of course it would be Kaze. Before Yate could go see if he was okay the boy in question slid through the door and stopped before him. Kaze was winded, though incredibly excited. His words spilled out like a gush of water, making Hayate place a hand on his shoulder to calm him. "Whoa now Kaze, take in a breath. Let's go see what yer goin' on about." Hayate said, putting an arm around his shoulder and directing them to the door of the building. He stopped suddenly and turned around, facing Mantus. "Yer welcome to join us bud, if ya ain't too busy with what it is yer doin'." Hayate said with an easy smile to Mantus. The more the merrier his mother had always said, so why not now for training. It would be better to do this around friends and comrades, as they could give feedback to the style and execution of techniques. Hayate pushed Kaze forward to lead the way. It wasn't until then that he heard some shouting outside, something about a warning sign. Yate dropped to the lowest point of this place, and casually walked to see what the issue was. It didn't take long for him to reach the hole that Kyro was standing at. Hayate whistled and bent down, examining the crater. "Ya did this here, Kaze?" Hayate asked, looking up at Kyro and nodding his head in hello.

To put this into perspective, the Long-Range Sensor ninja can sense everything within their subforum, as well as any entrance threads into their subforum from other subforums. This ability does not work on ninja one ranks higher than the sensor, as they can conceal their chakra.

- Map Sealing: Hayate is able to create seals that affect the world around him through his cartography skill at 1.5x the chakra cost it would take to actually place the seal. He must have already have a map of the area. If any terrain altering damage is done to the location it renders his maps inaccurate, and he must take time to recreate them.

Keiji exhaled as he observed Hayate and Kaze, standing off to the side from the events that took place. They were tasked with training, true. However, Keiji's style of techniques was at a disadvantage at the current moment; he would need a willing participant to try out techniques on. For now, he would merely brainstorm on possible seals he would be able to utilize later.

Kaze was grinning the whole time while he was with Hayate. The fact that his theories worked was amazing let alone that he only knew the secrets about it. By the time they were back at the place he was training, the Genin had regulated his breathing and was just smirking at his work. "Yeah! I put some stuff together and now I have some stuff under my belt." Kaze made a fist, raising to his face, grinning. He stepped towards Kyro, for someone who was very sensitive to chakra like Hayate or himself, they could if they concentrated sense the very soft but focused burst of chakra in Kaze's ankles and feet. And from where he was standing by Hatyate, he was suddenly standing in front of Kyro, grinning in his face. "Yeah, sorry about that. You know the hole thing. Hah, I made a pun." He wanted to show his sempai his self-deemed "Walking Techniques." And then show off the power that he had very recently gained.

The young man rose an eyebrow as the guy started his training just a few feet away from where Mantus was sitting. He seemed like a carefree fellow, he hadn't even picked up on the Aburame's gritty sarcasm. It was then that the boy felt a pang of regret for his manner of speech. He wasn't making any friends that way, and even still, the stranger introduced himself in a nonchalant fashion."..."Through the strain of his own training, Mantus kept his lips shut and his eyes focused on the ground before him. As the seconds ticked by, the population of insects was beginning to get increasingly bearable. Perhaps his chakra had just gotten accustomed to it, or maybe it was natural for his insects to reproduce at the rate they were going.I-I got to ask bud. Those uh, Beatles? That right there don't feel...weird at all?"Concentration=Gone. Mantus looked up, his eyes wide at the suddenness of the inquiry. He glanced around the room as he tried to find an answer that wouldn't be pompous or make the other feel foolish."You know... I've lived with it for so long, I don't really notice. Sometimes if I move the wrong way, I could upset them, and that gets them a little riled up. Other than that, it's normal to feel them working through my tissue."Mantus was shocking himself. He had never spoken this much to anyone other than his immediate family, before. His clan was viewed as one of the noble families in the past, but even now his fellow kin carried themselves with high authority. It felt... Better to speak his mind, and be fully honest at that! Mantus closed his lip after that, watching Hayate go at it. Did he say Uzumaki? He knew the name carried some weight, but Mantus couldn't place where he'd heard it from...
"Wh-"Before Mantus could begin speaking to Hayate again, an explosion rang out, cutting him off and causing him to lash out with his arms and legs, gripping the walls around him. A sudden reaction, which was normal, but caused a little bit of pain to rip through him. With that quick jolt, he interrupted the cycle of reproduction, and his insects were not happy. Using his chakra to suppress their activity, Mantus decided that it was time to stop the increased reproduction cycle. Standing up shakily, he watched as a third youth entered with haste, drawing Hayate's attention with excitement. The two clamored about a new jutsu for a moment, then both headed out the door, but not before Hayate offered Mantus a smile and the invitation to join them. A nod, although slightly uncertain, was given in reply. Mantus dusted himself off and headed out the door, following them by at least a couple yards behind.
"That... Is impressive."Apparently, the individual who had rushed in earlier had accomplished quite a feat, creating a large crater with one of his techniques. Whether or not it was ninjutsu or just an example of monster-strength taijutsu was still undetermined. As Mantus watched the two talk about it, Mantus began walking around the circumference of the hole, bending down and inspecting the debris that was overturned. He didn't notice the other youth shoot off with one of his techniques, but he felt the two presences not too far off."So much for this place being haunted. It's as lively now as anywhere else in Soragakure..."At first, the Aburame was seeking a peaceful training session. What with all the creepy aura about the place and the arrival of these new shinobi, he preferred this to the isolation that came from his desired routine.
