Mala was wandering around the rogue lands with really no purpose in mind other than stretching out her legs. The weather was beginning to turn for the better and the warmth was starting to makes its appearance. The cooler weather had clung to the rogue lands and it seemed like it would never leave. Her heterochromian eyes blinked as a stray sunbeam hit her in the face. Mala had really seen much of her family lately and she could only assume that they had left the area for good. It was a saddening thought but understandable in the prospect of finding adventure or families to start for their own. Maybe she would go venture to an area she had never been to before and see if she could find another interesting to take home. Her home was starting to look a little drab lately and she could use a little cheering up. Spring was trying to make its appearance that was for sure and what better way to celebrate then pick some flowers to decorate ones home!

Leli, for the life of him, couldn't figure exactly why he came to the rogue lands. His vision was a bit vague, only lasting a millisecond, and while such a sketchy seeing was rare for him, he couldn't ignore it nonetheless. And the gut feeling in him told him that it had occurred in the rogue lands.
Now, as he was inching to a near crawl underneath all his mane, he realized the vision may have been a warning against going to the rogue lands at anytime. Of course, logically thinking, he was sure it wasn't. But, at that current moment, in his near delirious mind, that seeing was definitely a warning. Groaning, Leli pushed himself up off the ground, panting. Tulizo, who perched comfortably on his back, nearly preened with pride as she wound up his scarf that he discarded long ago. "You're being too dramatic." the Hare sniffed, patting the sweaty mane. "It's nearly spring... this weather is borderline perfect!" When Leli wasn't inclined to agree, the hare sniffed before hopping off. "Fine then. I'll be right back; I'm going to ask directions to the nearest waterhole. I'm afraid you're about to collapse." And with that, his companion was off.
Leli, on the other hand, squinted in the distance, swearing he saw this mirage that he heard tales about. A white lioness with purple markings was just up ahead. And what a vision she was. With new determination, Leli strolled forward, intent on asking just where he could find water and a nice spot to cool down... if there was such thing in this heated lands.
"Excuse me, miss." he began once he was close enough. "I hope I'm not bothering you but would you happen to know a place where I could... cool down? This heat seems to be getting to me." a weak smile skitter across his face, hoping the lioness would show mercy and show him the way.

"Oh," Mala turned towards the voice and blinked. He certainly was an interesting sight to behold. All that mane and... wow his pelt was just lovely to gaze at... all soft colours. "Um no, no bother and I was just exploring around. Cool down you say? Hmm well to be honest I've never been in this area before and--" She paused and bit her bottom lip. Maybe she could show him the watering hole that was close to her home. "--well there is a watering hole a few paces from here. I could... show you if you wanted? I could use a drink myself." Maybe she would explore another day, it was rare to see such eye candy and Mala couldn't pass that up. "I can see why the heat is effecting you. I've never seen a lion with so much lovely hair. "

Leli panted just slightly, shoulders hunched. Goodness, couldn't someone turn off the sun? It was making him quite... irritable. And anyone who knew Leli knew that he simply didn't get irritable. Laid back, laughing Leli annoyed? Never.
Staring at the lovely lioness, he nearly sank to the ground when she replied with a negative. Oh, he was doomed. "Ah, what a shame." he grumbled, his expression forlorn. However, it was quick to disappear when she mention the watering hole; his head actually rose about his shoulders! Smiling, he stood up in eagerness. "Oh, please lead the way!" He encouraged fervently. Maybe to eagerly.
Blinking, he glanced down at his fur, before realizing that thick, ruffled manes were probably not very common in the rogue lands. Tossing his mane a bit self consciously, he grinned. "Why thank you, miss. It's much needed in Schnee la Neige'milima." He pointed out, slowly walking ahead; it was very hard to trek fast in weather like this. He looked over at her, deciding to dish out his own compliment. "Your own pelt is very lovely on the eyes. I thought you were these mirages I heard about." he admitted, smiling. He glanced over his shoulder, frowning. Tulizo should be able to follow his scent.

A smile flittered onto her face. This male lion was certainly a character and she found herself liking him. Crazy she knew that, I mean who liked someone after just a few exchange in words? "Alright then I will come on handsome I'll show you the way." A little flirting couldn't hurt anyone. Schnee whatzit? Huh. She gestured for him to follow her, "Sorry never heard of that pride before, is it new?" Mala laughed oh he was just adorable. "Thank you, but I get all these looks from my family." She winked while keeping pace with him, before continuing. "I'm Shankhamala by the way but you can just call me Mala if you want." She noted his sweat was increasing. "It shouldn't be long now. You alright? Not use to this weather huh?" She spoke out of concern.

Leli smiled politely and followed. "You're going to make me blush." he chided playfully with a hearty, throaty laugh. He followed behind, momentarily admiring her. Very lovely, very lovely indeed. He nearly nodded in appreciation before catching himself. No, he was a gentleman. "Hm? Oh yes, it's rather new. The land has been enchanted for constant snow fall and I've gotten quite used to the environment that stepping into the rogue lands... well, it feels as though I'm laying to close to the fire for hours on end." Glancing at sideways at her, he gave a noise of acknowledgement. "Well, your family and yourself have been gifted in lovely looks." He replied, grinning lazily at the wink. For some reason, it got a few degrees hotter underneath his fur.
Clearing his throat, he nodded. "Oh yes, I'm fine. Worse case scenario, you're carrying me there." he jested, his heavy body swaying just slightly in his walk. "Gorgeous name. I'm Leli'takata, but you may call me Leli, Mala." he replied, inclining his head at the introduction.

He had a nice laugh she'd give him that, it was one that said much about him. She paused at the word 'enchanted' "Really?" Mala's eyes widen in disbelief and wonder. "I've never heard anything like that happening before. I'm all for snow but I don't know if I would enjoy it all year round." She giggled at the looks comment. "Thank you." She nodded accepting the compliment and she raised her eyebrow while looking him up and down. "I've had to carry my father once and he looks the same build as you, so no worries. I can take anything you dish out." She never was this sassy but Mala was enjoying herself. "You traveling alone Leli? Ah here we are~ One nice shaded area with water for swimming."

Leli gave a gentle smile. "It's really lovely, actually. White and pure, all year long." He grimaced at the sky then. "And lovely temperatures." He stopped momentarily to catch a breath, the heat feeling very constricting on him.
Leli blinked in surprise, utterly taken back, before throwing his head back in laughter. It wasn't mocking laughter, just mirth over her sass. Laughter milting to a soft chuckle, he gave a playful bow of his head. "Well, then, I am in excellent hands." Leli decreed. Spotting the water, he wanted to run into it. However, he remained patient and simply waded into the water, allowing a sigh of relief. "You, my dear, are a savior." he breathed, before turning to face her, standing shoulder deep a bit away. "Ah, not quite. My companion, a hare by the name of Tulizo'pisha, had parted ways to search for water just shortly before you arrived." he told her, before hesitating. He wanted to tell her about the reason he was in the rogue lands, about his vague vision, but decided against it.
Instead, he opted to splash water at her. "Why don't you join me?" He asked in a low rumble.

"Too each their own I guess." She giggled. "You sure are~ I may look petite but I can pack a wallop." Mala preened a little bit at the saviour comment. "By all means-" She gestured with a paw. "-don't hold back on my account. Jump on in and enjoy the coolness that mother nature has provided for us. Tulizo'pisha huh?" She had heard of lions or other predators taking on familiars for companions but she had never taken one. "Yes why not I could use the company." She was also really enjoying herself.

Leli grinned at this but didn't doubt it one bit. "Then I'm inclined to watch myself away you... I'll make sure to keep my toes firmly on your good side."
Going a bit deeper into the water, he let out a sigh of content as the cool water chilled his body. His eyes closed briefly as he felt like he could breath correctly, without a pant, for the first time in hours. "Thank you, Mala. This is just what I needed." Opening his eyes, he gave a soft smile. "Of course, your company is a fantastic bonus I hadn't been expecting." Leli told her warmly. "This trip to the rogue lands hasn't gotten even better."
Tara de Draiocht Perhaps we wrap this up with your post and then, I begin a new one with him pulling her into the water? C:

"Glad to hear it," She eyed the water hesitantly. What if it was too cold? Mala supposed just spending time with him was enough and settled herself done by the edge getting ready to spend the rest of the day chatting. This wasn't too bad at all.
