Usually comes off as being rather callous, but once you actually try to talk to him, immediately shows that hes actually extremely rude and pretty rebellious. He shows no respect for those considered higher up than him, other than his father and is shown to only be kind towards those whom he is very close to and very much cares about. Because of his bluntness, temper and distrust of others, people find it rather difficult to try and make friends with him since he seems so withdrawn from others. Though it is actually worth trying to be friends with him in the end. Nikolas can be very caring and kind towards friends and will always put their well-being before himself. But even then, he still knows right from wrong and will protect someone he doesn't even know if needed to. Tends to become awkward or shy around someone he has a crush on and is sometimes straightforward towards them on accident when nervous.

History/Background
He doesn't remember anything other than being with Vladimir since his memories began. Nikolas was told he was found abandoned in a burned down home in Russia, and that Vlad had taken him in as his own. Nik eventually came to find out that his mother was the former Witch of Winter, only to have been killed by his now kishin father right after he had been born. It is unknown as to how or when his biological father became a kishin, and so unknown on if Nik carries kishin blood in him or not. He eventually had a confrontation with his kishin father, whom tried to kill him immediately by trying to drown him. Nikolas would have died if not for Vladimir saving his life. He made a vow to hunt down his biological father and kill him, to avenge his mother's death, but to seek revenge on the man for becoming a kishin.
He is very much aware of whom his foster father really is, and very much does not care. Nikolas now attends DMWA in order to figure out how to become stronger, to overcome his anemia and to hopefully obtain information that will hopefully lead him to his biological father. He has absolutely no interest in making Vladimir into a Death Weapon, for his father has no interest in becoming one in the first place.
During his travels, he met a boy with a large, clawed hand. Despite his frightening appearance, this boy was the only person Nikolas willingly opened up to upon meeting. He made a promise to one day meet up with him at DWMA.

Abilities
-Uses concentrated soul waves to make the bolts for the crossbow.
-Able to access Vladimir's black-blood to numb his senses, making him unable to feel pain. But it is extremely dangerous for him to do this as it brings him closer to the madness and is considered a last resort strategy.
-Has a good amount of strength that seems to increase whenever he is angry. (meaning he is very capable of punching through a brick wall if you piss him off, but it will still harm him)
-During certain circumstances, is able to summon a lot of power from his soul enabling him to have a limitless use to his ice and strength, but it causes him to pass out from exhaustion in the end.
-Able to manipulate ice and snow, and uses a variety of ice related spells
-Has the Soul perception ability, allowing him to see the souls of others. Due to being a Witch himself, he can see past Soul Protect.
