The stables are built to house sixty horses, and each student is allowed to have his or her own horse, but not every student does. Each owner is in charge of taking care of his or her horse. The school provides the horse with food and shelter, that is all. But there are fifty acres behind the stables for the horse to roam free, since it is enclosed, and its a nice treat for them. Especially since there always seem to be apples all over the ground.
