A very diligent student, and an extremely loyal friend. He's kind-hearted and caring, always there for others when they need him. Though because his arm is very off putting, he only has one friend and the lack of any more has put him in a very depressive mood at times, which he tries to hide. This has also made him rather sensitive to insults. Makeen is a bit of a glutton, having a love for mainly spicy foods and sometimes will prefer to eat over getting work done. Can be very polite and a true gentleman despite being gay. Mak is extremely friendly and loves telling jokes, but to only those who are willing to listen long enough. He's chivalrous and always puts the well-being of others before himself. Though he endangers himself in the process of protecting others. He suffers a bit from multiple personality disorder, but his other personality is in fact his infected-self, which only comes out when he is deeply depressed, greatly angered or becomes unconscious while being tormented. Makeen is unaware of this other personality.
The other personality comes off as being insane and very mentally disturbed. A grin is always on his face, and he is a bit of a masochist. In battle, he becomes unpredictable and concern for others is no longer there. He will kill any in the way just to get to his target. Because of Makeen's paranoia, this personality becomes very spiteful towards others and doesn't hesitate to point out flaws.

History/Background
Comes from a long line of Jiang-Shi Demon Weapons, all capable of taking on multiple forms. Though the preferred was always the claws. He was a child prodigy at one point, and was in the process of choosing his meister when on a fateful night, he was attacked by a black-blooded weapon. He had become infected by the blood and lost control one day. Though he awoke with no recollection of what happened, and found his family dead, with seals on his body and his left arm trapped in weapon form. The boy is under the impression that kishin have taken out his family, but does not understand what has caused his disfigurement. He did in fact consume his family's souls while under possession, and put him in the process of becoming a dark weapon. Makeen has difficulties turning into his full weapon form, for fear he may become trapped much like his arm, and has lost the ability to use his saw blade. He now attends DWMA in hopes of regaining control, and to learn how to find and destroy kishin. Mak refuses to take on a meister or to even attempt to take on his full weapon form, and prefers to use his own skills to fight, not wanting to depend on others.
During the time on his own, he met a blonde boy who wields a black-blooded weapon. Though he learned of DWMA from him, and the boy's intentions on joining in order to learn more about kishin. Since then, this boy has been his closest friend, and he hopes to see him at DWMA someday.
