Elemental Control The time of Avatar Aang and Korea has passed. The world has made it's own chaos one more time. Only thing is, the Earth Nation is the main problem causing it. Them being the biggest nation have started to take over the rest of the world under their control. The Fire kingdom has declared war on the Earth Nation. But they have there own reasons for it. They had a vengeance against The Earth Nation. The water tribes have kept out of the war, simply because they're the ones funding it. As the two groups fight they make a profit from it. You'd think that the Avatar would come to stop the two groups from fighting. But the White lotus have him locked up and brain washed. They're a group surrounded in mystery. But one thing is sure they aren't up to anything good with it. There head quarters, the Wind temples. The monks there have stayed quiet and out of trouble. Believing that if they just stay away from the war, then it'll end itself. But everyday that passes, more and more people die. Benders become enslaved to nations as fuel tanks or warriors. Newer and more dangerous types of machines are made. Lands are being destroyed, it seems like the world is going to end. Will it? Or will someone step up?

Terry knelt at one end of the rock, waiting patiently for the fish to arrive. Unfortunately, he was late. The light of the morning sun fell in a great shaft across the opening, splashing her legs with a brilliant light. Her arms were folded and her eyes closed. Somewhere, a bird cooed. More out of some peaceful sense of curiosity than any sort of concern for her safety, Terry turned her attention toward the cave opening. There was a single, tiny blue bird dancing around the pebbles on the ground. They used to be plentiful in the Earth Kingdom and their songs were the made of legends.
Her eyes softened, gaze fell after a moment of watching the little creature do a dance. This place was her sanctuary away from the war outside which she told no one of. Not even her brother knew where she ran off to when the guards weren't looking. It wasn't selfish was it? To sneak off while the others worked to the bone? Terry sighed in defeat and hung her head. "Of course it is," She answered her own question and craned her neck to the side as a small koi fish swam through the small entrance of the pond.
"There you are Fry," she whispered happily and placed her fingertips in the water. The fish hurried to check them for hints of food and found none much to its dismay. They were also being rationed. She tensed at the sound of twigs crackling under the pressure of someone's boots and ceased breathing. And, she forgot to close the stupid entrance. Of course.

Loka ... Feed my flames ... Ragit You can not tame me! ...I never play with 'Matches' Loka could had sworn he heard something! Where they following him? That meant he should have had headed the other way though. It would have been smarter. If he got caught then...well he couldn't get caught. But there was some noise coming from the cavern. After running for that long. He could use a drink. But there always was the chance that it might just be a trap. But that was a risk he'd have to take. If he wished to get free. Then he'd have to get something to fuel himself. What could that be you might ask? As much as the Fire nation might hated it. Everyone in the world had to have water to live. As he moved up though the cave entrance, he kept going slower and slower. Even his breathing was even slowing down. Everything his life flashed in his eyes. Then right when he was turn the corner. When he heard a loud 'CRACK' come from under his foot.
Everything after that moved fast. Was it fast? Or did time just go back to it's normal speed. Deeper inside of the cavern there was a woman. She was next to a small river. She was with the Earth kingdom, well no duh! Everyone was with the Earth kingdom. Maybe Loka's disguise might work. He had beaten a guard that was had jailed him. But there still was the problem of the red hair and collar. It might not had been normal. He didn't know that much about the Earth Nation other then it was looking for everything to bow to it. That or be crushed under a never ending earthquake. And you can guess what one his 'We don't want any trouble' village choose. In the end, they had been spared, mostly, and just taken as prisoners. They didn't have that many warriors, so the Earth kingdom thought of them as the perfect slaves. But him, as the perfect energy source. He looked at the woman she had already heard him. He knew it, but might as well try to play it off a little. He needed to sound a tad bit older then was. No one would believe a 16 year old guard. He'd still be in training if he really was a guard."Is that water fresh?" When I'm hot, it's hot! Chill out?! Never!

Her heart beat was like that of the war drums that were played to instill fear in the minds of the other benders. Quickly, her head snapped towards the guard that had found her secret place and she mentally slapped herself for getting all flustered. "Heisen! Don't you dare scare me like that ever again." It would be him of all people that stumble across her here. He always stood so awkward in his uniform though, like right now.
"Of course the water's fresh. You can take that junk off here," she told him, motioning towards his ridiculous uniform. What sort of cruel and unusual training had they been doing out there? "What's wrong with your Water Tribe imports? You were bragging about receiving them all yesterday," Terry's attention returned to Fry who was trying to find a hiding place in the clear water. It made her giggle at his desperation and she shielded him with her hands to which he was probably grateful.

Loka ... Feed my flames ... Ragit You can not tame me! ...I never play with 'Matches' Heisen? What was that? His name wasn't...Oh, the guard. Loka looked away for a moment. What could he remember about that guy? This woman had known the guard, that was a good thing. It meant that she probably would alert if she knew he was a fake. Putting on a show for her. But he didn't know hot to act. Being snobby wasn't really his type. Could he take her as a captive? No, he was in a cavern, if she was a bender. He'd be crushed. Better to act like someone else. Maybe, or she got confused. To late for that. He was already next to the water taking drink. "They put me on prison guard duty! To many nasty people down there. Don't want to mess up my clothes on the first day and all." Loka tried his best. He just hoped that it worked well enough. If not, he was sitting right next to her now. But he kept his eyes at the water. There was a fish swimming around. Where was the water coming from anyway? He knew that he place was a earthbender city. But he didn't know what one, and walking around town didn't help it that much. When I'm hot, it's hot! Chill out?! Never!

As usual, always complaining to her about how hard his job was and all. For a grown man, he babbled like a baby. She didn't mind him as much as everyone else because he wasn't as rough around the edges. Hands lifted out of the water, Terry wiped them on her shorts and sighed. "Say Heisen.. how's your sister doing with her pregnancy?" she asked curiously while landing onto his lap.

Loka ... Feed my flames ... Ragit You can not tame me! ...I never play with 'Matches' She was okay with this? What? Loka needed to count how his luck was doing! There wasn't a real way he could get out of this alive now. At the least, he'd be able to tell. Her that he was really just a joker or something. Or maybe that he'd be called back on duty. Loka shrugged. She had asked the question. Not really 'The' question, but it was 'The' question he truly couldn't answer correctly. Better to try and fail, then to not try at all. Who knows, maybe he'll get lucky. "You know, just a few more months until it. I was going off to see her later." Stupid stupid stupid, move. Now if he was right, then she'd might want to come and see with him. But if he was wrong, then well, he was as good as gone. He was good on his feet though. Might he be able to run to the other side of the cavern? As long as it lead to outside of this city. Then he'd be okay with it. Taking a sip of the water. Loka tired to relax a little. Not that it helped even if he could. When I'm hot, it's hot! Chill out?! Never!

Well, she didn't know his family all that well but his sister had been her babysitter until adolescence and knowing that the woman and her child were okay made her happy. Her fingers tugged and a pebble flung itself into her palm and again and again and again. Like a game of sorts. Then an idea struck her hard. One of those ideas that make you jump up? Yeah, one of those then.
"I wanna see your prisoner! You've been assigned one of course." That was like a catch phrase of hers.. of course. People said that it got annoying whenever she said that tens of times in a conversation. Terry's foot stomped the ground he was sitting next to, causing his seat to shift up. What? She doubt he would have been able to get back up anyway. Armor equals heavy.

Loka ... Feed my flames ... Ragit You can not tame me! ...I never play with 'Matches' There was a little to no hope that he would be able to get out of this now. He was the prisoner. Why would she want to see him? He couldn't really understand why. Other then she wanted to hurt him. Did all earth-benders have such hate for other people? Or was it just because he was a fire bender? The huge rock crash took Loka out of his stump. It brought him up, and he felt like the metal was going to strangler him to death. Heisen must have been a bender. Because she didn't hold back right then. Loka jumped up trying to walk it off. But he couldn't that well. "Why do you want to see him?" He tired to use his best voice for that part. But he had to grit his teeth at how much pain his armor was. He felt it heat up inside. That was bad. Loka could never control his bending. So it was always better for him to just act like he was a normal non-bender. Loka quietly took deep breaths. When I'm hot, it's hot! Chill out?! Never!

"I've never met a fire bender before. Father said they were cruel people before they had a taste of their own medicine," she replied to his harsh sounding question and narrowed her green eyes at him. Was this really so hard to do? Or was he simply disapproving? "Take me or I'll.. turn you in for skipping duty." Terry hoped her threat stood strongly enough and gave him the most devious smile she could muster. She would follow out with this because she refused to lie.

Loka ... Feed my flames ... Ragit You can not tame me! ...I never play with 'Matches' "Can't do that." So much luck in such a small burst. Loka wasn't sure, but this seemed to be going his way. He just wished that he had this much when they came to his village. Loka changed his voice. She wanted to see one, and he couldn't really leave this cave just yet. He'd have to head back to the cage. That was one place, he wasn't going to go back to."Skipping duty? I don't really care about that to much really..." Taking off a the top part of his armor and helmet, he reveled his flame garb and red hair. His leg plates would be to hard to take off. It took way to long to put them on just to start. He could deal with the extra 13 pounds, for now at least. The point being, that now that he was going to tell her. He didn't want to have any parts that she might be able to bend on him. "I guess you could say that we are cruel. But I'm not really apart of that side of the nation. I'm Loka, Fire Bender." When I'm hot, it's hot! Chill out?! Never!

"Hei-"
As he removed his helm Terry's smile faded into that of a mere line and her eyes were transfixed on him, cautious of any movements he'd make. Should she scream for help? Alert the nearby guards of an escaped slave? Oh, she was a bender too. "Don't move," she warned him while holding her hands defensively at her side. Oh my goodness she sat next to him. He sat next to her! She had no idea why he didn't attack her then and there, but maybe that was irrelevant. He pretended to be a friend.

Loka ... Feed my flames ... Ragit You can not tame me! ...I never play with 'Matches' "Does breathing count as moving?"He rolled his eyes while bring his hands up towards his chest. He'd be able to deflect or jump away in the position. Without any flames. Loka guessed that there might had been a chance he could get out. But then again, she just changed like she was about to die, right then. It could have been worst. She could had just brought the place done on him. Or sent him under the ground. Both of which, would most likely kill him. Loka tried moving his legs. It might had been better to keep the armor on. He wasn't one to use is bending. Uncontrollable and all, it would burn everything around him normally. The armor might had stopped it if he did get some of it flames out. Loka wanted to try and calm her. But didn't know what to really say. " I'm not here to hurt you." He wasn't sure if she could bend. But it might be better to think that she could do something to hurt him. No one just walked around with no weapon. "Just trying to get back home..." Loka wasn't sure if 'Home' was still there. His sister had been taken into a different cart, then him. Felicia was a much better bender then him. She was most likely in a machine by now. When I'm hot, it's hot! Chill out?! Never!

"Listen Loco," she started,"..I don't want to get in trouble because that can only result in two very bad.. results for the both of us." Terry placed her hand to her head to soothe the migraine that threatened to bring her to her knees. This was all too much to handle right now. And here she was with a fire bender. No, an escaped prisoner! Now what is that going to look like? Exactly! Like she was trying to harbor an escapee. She could always make him someone else's problem, but then how could she live with herself? Arg, there was no way to win. "How do you suppose you'll-" Terry's hands motioned towards the cave entrance and she scratched the back of her head. Making sure no one was listening in never hurt,"Ahem. How do you suppose you get back home exactly? Last time I checked.. that stuff needed planning. Which you probably didn't think of." she began to rant at him and herself, but mostly at him.
"I don't believe this right now!" she muttered and then pointed a finger at him. "How did you even get out?" demanded Terry with wide eyes. If he wasn't careful they would certainly come looking for him. It was almost dusk outside. Fry had gone back to wherever he always disappeared to around this time and the light covering the pool diminished greatly. Soon, she would begin to hyperventilate if there were no answers given.
