Jeremy was a truth bender at best, one day Molly would come to understand this.

"Oh! I should probably tell you, the quota's twelve 'sorry's a day! You've said that much since we met earlier, so I actually think you probably went over..." He trailed off, figuring he'd be helpful. And yes Molly, he was counting. That curious look of his returned when her face turned red again, but this time he tried to figure it out on his own. All he came up with was 'Silly and Inappropriate' again, but knew better than to point it out; that would spawn more 'sorry's and then she's really be over her quota.

"I do! I like sleepovers~" He chimed back innocently, picking up one of the pillows to toss it onto the floor.

Molly just stared at Jeremy wide eyed and in awe. Woah. He was keeping track. Jeremy was very serious about this…and Molly would have to make sure to keep track of herself as well. “…Um…what happens when you go over the limit…?” Molly asked quietly and worriedly. She poited her two fingers together, the blush dying down a bit more this time.

“…O..okay! Um…you can have my bed, and I’ll sleep on the floor, alright?” She smiled. “Don’t worry, I stashed away a lot of blankets and some sleeping bags!”

What happened? Well...

"Terrible things." He stressed seriously, thankful for the ominous scapegoat since this supposed quota was entirely bullshit. After that he was too busy pushing his pillows onto the floor to expand on his warning. When all of his pillows were on the floor he leaned up, though perhaps a little too closely, and grinned at the lovely freckled face of his new friend.

"Nope! I'll take the floor, I wouldn't take your bed from you~" The blonde's torso swayed a bit, and then he rolled - but mostly fell - onto the floor with a thud, rolling over his pillows and sprawling out on them on his back. "Unless you want to---"

His words were cut off with a loud, resounding clap of thunder.

Molly gulped, and took Jerem’y word for it. Good job, Jeremy. You found the easiest person to snow in Deus.

She watched him push pillows into the floor, and stilled when he leaned in really close, holding her breath as her lips parted a bit. Molly then pouted. “Everyone says tha—JEREMY!?” She watched him roll onto the floor with a thud, and she was panicked as she scrambled to peer over the edge of the bed and down at him. “Are you alright!?”

The young woman also didn’t happen to catch what he said, since thunder echoed out. Molly startled again, looking over at her window as the following flash came as well. “…Oh…it’s going to storm…” She murmured this to herself, and then looked back at the Sun Hunter on her floor. “I’m so—“ She caught herself. “Um….y-you were saying? Unless…?”

"Yes?" He chirped back happily, flat on his back with his limbs sprawled everywhere. "Oh yes, I'm fine. What's a little pain? Means I'm still alive, which is quite important!" He sounded winded, but probably because he was. The fall had knocked the air out of him, but he seemed to care less about it.

"AH!" He cried out in warning as she almost, almost said sorry, pointing at her accusingly until she caught herself and stopped. "Unless...Nah, it's silly and probably inappropriate~" He brushed it off; they did just meet, after all. The teen stared at the ceiling for a little longer, and then rolled over as the thunder and lightning started moving in, scampering as close to the window area as he could get on his knees.

"Hey, if it starts raining, let's go outside!"

“W…well…I guess but…don’t hurt yourself, alright?” Molly raised her hands sheepishly and grinned nervously. “I know, I know! I’m so—“ She immediately clamped both of her hands over her mouth.

Oh no! It was a really bad habit apparently. Hazel eyes blinked rapidly as Jeremy dismissed his question as silly and inappropriate…and Molly found herself really curious now. Would it be rude to ask again? Her hands were still clamped over her mouth as she watched Jeremy move over to her window. Slowly she lowered her hands. “…O…okay!” She agreed, her brows furrowing. “…Um…it’s….it’s alright to ask…I mean…I was…thinking silly and appropriate things too…so…it’s only fair you’re allowed to say them as well…?”

"SHH." He cried out again, once more pointing at her as she almost slipped up. Seriously, this girl had a problem! An apologetic problem. It was a silly problem to have, in his opinion. He thought long and hard about telling her what his silly and inappropriate thought was, but at the same time...she hadn't really told him hers, right? Sure he could guess she was thinking about a kiss - and now that he thought about it, he may have entertained the idea, however briefly - but she never outright told him that was what her thought was. Besides, she had those moments no less than three times since he arrived in her room!

"Okay, but only if you tell me some of your inappropriate thoughts! You've had a few since we met, I think." Either way he had agreed, and whether or not she returned the favour was entirely up to her, because he was going to tell her anyway. "I was just gonna say, 'Unless you wanna share'~" He admitted, despite their having only just met today.

Molly couldn’t help but laugh outright now when Jeremy shushed her. Her laughter pealed around her room and she ended up falling onto her back onto her bed and rolled around. “I’ll try, I promise!” She wailed in between laughs. Her laughter died down to giggles, and Molly rested her hands on her chest as she caught her breath. She hadn’t laughed like that in a long, long time…

At his words, Molly shot straight up though, wide eyed. “Uh…” Well…it was only fair. Molly sobered up immediately, but nodded her head. “…Oh…like…share…the bed?” She offered, and then blushed a bit more. The last time she shared a bed with a male…

Oh dear.

But Molly would never say no.

Never.

“…If…if you want…um…we can…!” She would feel better about that then him sleeping on the floor after all. “…Um…” She turned even more red. “…Do…you go first or…me?”

Jeremy's lips split into a wide grin as she started laughing and rolling around. That was quite the stroke to the ego! He couldn't ever remember anyone laughing so hard over something he had said or done...not that he had all of his memories, but he had enough of them to know if it happened at all, it was entirely rare. Molly's laughter wasn't mean or teasing, it was real and infectious; by the time she even started to calm down, she had the blonde teen laughing along with her.

He didn't sober up as fast as she did, and was still practically giggling when she stressed the word while blushing. "Well yeah! Unless you'd prefer to share the floor?" Silly Molly and her silly...well, everything! His giggles had all but died after that, but he was still grinning happily; it was nice to have made her laugh, and it was such a nice sound, too. Though the grin did twitch a little bit as, sadly, confusion set in once more. Go first? What was that all about? To get changed? To get ready to go to bed? Maybe that was it? That had to be it.

"Uhh....it's your bed so...you?" He worked under the assumption that she wanted to go to bed now, or at least soon; still, he was somewhat sad there wouldn't be any running in the rain. He missed the rain.
PostPosted: Sun Apr 14, 2013 8:27 pm

The floor…! Actually, Molly liked that idea…it seemed way less uh…intimate…than the bed. “…Okay! Let’s both sleep on the floor!” She agreed. “I’ll get out all my blankets and you can bring your pillows and it will be like…like…uh…” She rubbed her cheek in thought. “…Camping? On the floor…with lots of soft things!”

Now it was Molly’s turn to blink in confusion though. One big misunderstanding, go! “…Uh…is it bed time already?” She asked. Did Jeremy go to bed early? It wasn’t even that late after dinner yet! Molly probably shouldn’t go to bed now! Her food needed time to digest. “…OH!” She cried. “No, no…I meant…um…telling each other…things….um…do you go first or do I…?” She trailed off though, as the sound of pitter-patters hit her window. Blinking, Molly stood up from her bed and moved over, pulling back her green curtains as she watched the rain drops slide down the window panes.

“There’s your rain!” She announced cheerfully. “Did you want to go outside now?”

Jeremy just kind of gave her a blank look. He was so confused right now. The indoor camping sounded like a blast, but the rest of it...well it was just going whoosh over his dandelion head.

"Err...no, not bed time. Uh. What things---OH the Silly and Inappropriate?" He was sorting it out in his head, albeit slowly. So many things happened, and his brain hadn't yet caught up or recovered from the whole ordeal of being podded for nearly a year. Luckily the rain saved him the continued confusion, and he leapt to his feet with a happy WHOOP.

"YES! Yes I do!" He quickly wandered over, squishing himself between Molly and the windowsill. It took him a few minutes, but eventually, somehow, he pried open the window and whatever mesh was covering it. "Let's go!" He announced happily, managing to get up, into and out of her window and into the outside world, where it was a lovely downpour.

It’s okay Jeremy. Molly was too. “…Oh…yes…um…I mean…the silly and appropriate things…sharing…um…I’m so—“ Molly pouted again, make an unhappy sound. “Gosh, I got us all tied up!” She laughed softly, but for now, was happy to focus on something simple, like the rain.

Molly squeaked when Jeremy squished himself between her and the windowsill, and she watched with wide eyes as he opened her window and then climbed out of it. So…so daring! Sure, it may have only been the first floor…but Molly never thought to go out the window before! So…amazing! Molly poked her head out the window, and then looked down. Really, it wasn’t far…but…she couldn’t climb out the window as smoothly as Jeremy.

The mist trainee hesitated, seeming to think about this really hard for a long time before she planted her hands on the sill and then tried pulling herself onto it on all fours. Er…oh gosh…She looked like an awkward cat perched in the window…Molly got down and pouted, her brows furrowing. How to do this…Oh! She smiled and sat up on the window sill, and then carefully spun around and pushed her legs out the other side, letting them dangle before she slid out the window and landed on the ground with a small ‘oof’. She stared up at the sky, watching as the drops came down.

Not that Jeremy's daring window escape was any sort of graceful. First floor of not, going out head first was a bad idea, but luckily he managed to tuck and roll before he face planted. Unfortunately with the rain that meant he was now muddy along with wet. I didn't seem to matter much to him though, as he rolled back to his feet and then to stand back and watch Molly's also-less-than-graceful attempt out the window.

He cheered for her the whole way, and then gave a startled noise when he realized that - oh s**t - he should have tried to help her out. Instead his fellow trainee landed on the ground, and he scampered over to check on her. In all his muddy glory the trainee pat her on the head, trying to talk above the pouring rain and the occasional rumbling of thunder. "Mols! You okay? Didn't hurt yourself or anything, didja?"

Molly laughed, and startled when another crack of thunder and lightning lit up the sky. She ended up clinging to Jeremy’s arm and looked up again, before laughing once more. “Oh, I’m perfectly fine!” She called back over the rain. She let go of his arm then, and reached up to wipe some mud off of his cheek with her now soaked sleeve of her sweater. “Are you alright?” She asked as well, pausing before staring up at the sky again.

“…I haven’t been outside in the rain since….well…before Deus…! It’s been a while…” Her hair was already starting to go flat too…flat and straight.

The thunder crack was less startling than Molly grabbing his arm. It sent him into something akin to protection and he twisted a bit, placing one hand on her arm until the 'scare' was over. After he was released he laughed, and made a whine that a child would when she insisted on cleaning off his cheek.

"I'm fine I'm fine!" He assured her, before grinning ear to ear. "Really?! ...actually, me too!" Well, this was a coincidence! It had certainly been a while since he was out in the rain at all, and he forgot how much he missed it. Like Molly his hair was flattening out, sticking to his face and a few pieces in his eyes.

"Whoa, you should straighten your hair some day! It looks good that way!" He called out over the rain, and then he spun on his heel and ran away from the building, heading more into the open and the rain.

Actually, when the hair started sticking to his face as well, and getting in his eyes, Molly couldn’t help but fuss again, and she pushed some of the wet strands away from his face.

“Hmmm? Oh! Thank you!” She beamed at him. “I want to one day! It poofs and gets curly again as soon as it dries!” She giggled softly, and couldn’t help but push from of her own wet hair away from her face as well. She blinked as Jeremy took off, and followed after him, running a few steps before she slowed to a walk, and just trailed after him. She was staring at the sky again, smiling softly. She honestly couldn’t remember the last time she had just walked out into the rain like this…much less so spontaneously as well.

"Augh Mooooom~" Jeremy whined over dramatically yet rather playfully, trying to swat her hands away as she insisted on fussing over him. After that he made his oh-so daring escape into the dangerous open area (which was a great idea in a thunderstorm, go Jeremy go), his arms spread out with his head turned towards the sky.

It was his first time outside in over a year, and he couldn't have been happier. He didn't hear the sound of her footsteps behind him so he turned to see if she was okay. Molly was a lovely sight in the rain, that was for sure. The trainee grinned at her then, his eyes happily lidded as he reached out for her, offering his hand palm up.

"Come on Mols, let's go to the beach!" Because that was also safe.

“Ah, I’m so—Oops…um…” Molly just grinned sheepishly and left his hair alone after that.

Molly followed behind Jeremy at a relaxed pace, jumping a bit once more as lightning lit up the sky again and the thunder crackled. She tilted her head back down, staring at his offered hand, and finally seemed to regain her sense and concern back. “…T-to the beach? In this weather?” Molly looked worried, but reached out for his hand regardless…because Molly could never say no. “Is um…that a good idea…?”

Jeremy closed his fingers around Molly's freckled hand, and was about to pull her toward the beach when she stopped him with pure logic. Hmm. For a moment he thought about it, his back to his new friend, and then he turned, still looking very thoughtful.

"You know, you're right! Okay, but first thing tomorrow we've gotta go...maybe we can find lightning glass!" He kept a hold of her hand though, and instead of dragging her to the beach...he started to dance with her. It wasn't a dance with actual steps and it wasn't a dance that made any steps, but there was a tune in his head - one that kind of matched the rain and the thunder, somehow - and that was enough for him.

Jeremy, if it wasn’t lightning right now, Molly would be all over going to the beach. As Hunters, they weren’t expected to live long anyways, but Molly did have to try and prevent their lives from ending pre-maturely when she could. She seemed relieved when Jeremy wasn’t upset by her suggestion, and nodded her head enthusiastically. “Oh, of course! I would love to go tomorrow and try to find lightning glass!” Molly saw Sweet Home Alabama okay. She knew that lightning glass was, only because of that movie.

The next thing she knew she was being pulled this way and that, and Molly blinked as she watched Jeremy start to…dance? Molly stood there a bit awkwardly, her arm going up and down as Jeremy danced. “…Um…” Molly always thought she looked rather stupid dancing…and the only dancing she really did was with her little sister on her feet, and that was swaying back and forth. Then with Bix at prom…Molly laughed softly, and tried at least, swaying back and forth, lightly rocking on her feet.

Jeremy's impromptu dance party ended with a flash of lightning and a very sudden sneeze. The odd timing of both these events impacted him more than he thought as he slipped in the fresh mud and landed hard on his tail bone, hands extended behind him as a useless brace. The look he gave was fairly akin to a baffled toddler trying to figure out what happened, but unlike a toddler he started laughing. It didn't matter how he got there, it was just funny that he did.

"I think that's the universe saying HEY GO INSIDE, DANDELION!" He chortled a little bit, the noise mostly drowned out by the pouring rain and the whistle of sudden wind. Out of habit he dusted himself off but really only succeeded in smearing the mud on his clothes, and then he held out his hand to her again. "Come on Mols, before we both get sick!" Because clearly they were safe from that fear before now.

Molly may have had a hold of his hands, but she was startled as he sneezed…and his hands slipped right out from hers. “Bless yo—OH MY GOODNESS!” She exclaimed, her hands immediately flying up to cup her cheeks as Jeremy went down. Finally she realized that that wouldn’t help and reached out to help him up, making a face as he smeared mud all over his clothes. “Are you alright?” She asked worriedly, looking him over with her brow furrowed before she stared at his hand again when he offered it. Well, it was a valid point. “O-oh…yes…um…you’re right!”

She tentatively took his hand now, and instead of even trying to get back in through her window…Molly instead started to head towards the dorms’ doors.

It seemed only fair that Molly got to choose their re-entry point into the building, considering he was the one who more or less made her climb out her window. So he followed her back into the building and back to their dorms, keeping her hand in his for no real reason whatsoever.

But as they reached their corridor, and more specifically their doors, he paused, looking at her room and then towards his own with a frown. "I don't have any other clothes." He announced to her then, letting her in on his worry before she asked him about it. His room was quite literally empty. No clothes. No belongings. Nothing he used to own. The only thing he had to his name was quite literally the clothes on his back; and they were soaked through and muddy now.

Good job, Jeremy.

Since he kept his hand in hers, Molly didn’t feel a need to pull her hand away either, and as they squished their way down the hall, she paused when he did, and looked at him. The Irish hunter blinked, and looked blanked face for a moment. His only clothes…he was…wearing his only clothes? Cue her horrified look. “Jeremy!” She wailed. “Why did you get them wet then?” She would offer up her own clothes in a heart beat…but lets face it. Offering Jeremy her underwear and pants wasn’t only horribly awkward…but they wouldn’t stay on his slim hips.

Molly’s lower lip jutted out as she struggled to think of a solution, and after a long moment of thinking that made a few little hairs curl up here and there on her head, the light bulb went off. Excitement bloomed around her face, and she was now clutching Jeremy’s arm with her free hand. “Oh, oh, oh!” She squeezed him. “I got clothes you can borrow, Jeremy!” She cried enthusiastically, bright and wide eyed. “Bix, a very, very, very nice and kind Sun Hunter, let me have a pair of his sleep clothes to keep once! So I have a t-shirt and a pair of sleep pants! Is that okay?”

"...'Cause it was fun?" Duh. Why else would he get his clothes all wet and muddy?! Silly Molly and her silly logic! He was just as stumped as she was (only he never thought to wear her clothes because, let's face it: he wasn't the brightest bulb on the christmas tree), so when she came to a brilliant conclusion before him he was quite honestly impressed. Tanned hands clapped in approval, nodding so vigorously that little water droplets flew everywhere from his sopping wet hair.

"I know Bix! Knew Bix. Know Bix? Um. Yes. White guy, like literally white, right? Red eyes? Kinda reminds me of one of those bunnies..." Either way he was proud that he knew someone she did - and it sounded like they were still alive, too! - and even more happy to learn he could be dry again. That would be pretty cool. "LEAD THE WAY TO THESE PANTS, Mon cap-i-tan!" Which was Jeremy speak for 'Yes that sounds lovely, thank you for letting me borrow them!'.

Molly beamed and smiled shyly when Jeremy clapped, and then led him back to her room. She opened the door, and immediately bee-lined for her dresser. “Oh, you know Bix?” She replied, and then giggled softly. “Um, yeah! But he’s really tall too, and slim built…well…not so much now, but I think these clothes will fit you!” The Mist trainee then handed him some kind of super hero t-shirt with accompanying sleep pants.

“Um, keep them for as long as you need, alright?” Molly’s brows furrowed a bit. Who knew when portals would open up again…who knew when Jeremy could have more clothes again…

Had Jeremy been thinking straight, he might have been quite happy at the idea of wearing pajamas on a daily basis, under his hunter's coat and scarf. Those at least were something he could replace easily enough, but everything else was a little trickier, especially since there was something about stock clothing he didn't much care for.

"Sweet, Mols! Thanks!" He said again as if it were the first time that night, and without thinking much of it he set his new (to him) pajamas aside someplace dry. Then, still continuing to not use his noggin, he started undressing right where he stood. Muddy and went clothes were peeled off and folded carefully, starting with his hoody and undershirt.

Molly started to pull out some new clothes for herself as well. “No problem!” She replied, still looking down at the drawer. “I’m glad I could help…” She also thought that maybe after she changed, she should go do some laundry right this moment and take Jeremy’s clothes too…

She then looked up…only to immediately turn red at catching some tanned bare torso.

Molly’s mouth dropped open…to either squeak or protest or say something…but not a sound came out, and the longer she stood there speechless and in shock, the more bare skin she was seeing. Finally getting a hold of herself, Molly did the only thing she could do. She buried her face in her hands and waited. She also tried very hard not to think too hard about some tanned bare skin she just saw.

Jeremy's fingers found the button to his jeans, and that was when a thought hit him. With his fingers frozen in place he looked up and towards Molly, and then...what was he thinking about? He couldn't remember. He just saw her face buried in her hands, and whatever piece of skin showed was a bright cherry red.

"...You okay Mols?" Wait, he'd seen this pose before, earlier today in fact! "...Silly and inappropriate thoughts again?" He offered innocently, and then he looked down at himself. "Oh." Well, that time he connected some dots. It made a little more sense this time, and that was when he let go of his jean button and rubbed the back of his neck. "Sorry."

Not looking, not looking, not looking…

Molly couldn’t even answer him…it’d probably come out as a squeak anyways, especially when he asked if it was silly and inappropriate thoughts. No…not yet. But they could very well turn into them! Too bad Molly didn’t have a bad bone in her body, or she could be blaming Dakota for all of this. It was his fault after all. Molly would never connect those dots though. “I-it’s okay!” She did manage to squeak out after a moment and kept her face firmly covered still. “Um…I’m not looking…I can’t see anything so um…” She promptly spun on her heel then, and probably whipped Jeremy with her still wet and straight hair. “There!” She was facing the wall. “Um…j-just let me know when you’re done…”

It didn't make him feel any better, but it didn't make him feel worse either. It seemed like a good enough mix to keep things the way they were, and when Molly put her back to him - yes, smacking him with her hair, which he didn't yelp to like he normally would have - he merely stared for a little while longer.

"Uh...okay." Well, why stop there? He was quick about the rest of his clothing and was about to put on the new clothes before a thought donned on him; he was still wet. That left him standing in her room, naked as the day he was born, holding out a pair of borrowed pants in front of him. "Uhhh...Do you have any towels?"
PostPosted: Sun Apr 14, 2013 8:31 pm

That one little fact seemed to escape her. Towels…duh. Of course she had tucked herself into the corner that was furthest away from her closet. Of course. She squeaked again. “…Y…yes…” She seemed in a moment of panic now. She knew he was naked. What to do…

Oh…

Molly kept her nose pressed against the wall and opened an eye, peeking. Whew…thank goodness for plaster. She then started to slide along the wall until she hit another corner, and then slid down that wall until she reached her closet. Still pressed against the opposite direction of Jeremy, Molly opened the door a bit and then grabbed a whole bunch of…of course, GREEN towels. She then snapped her eyes back shut and held her arm out, towels included.

“T-there you are!”

Jeremy watched the display with wide-eyed awe. Molly was a wall ninja?! WHOA. Admittedly it was a little funny though, even aside from the fly-like ninja reflexes she was dishing out. At least it was enough for him to start laughing, not at her but how strange this was; he couldn't remember a time when a girl went to such great lengths to not see someone naked.

Though in retrospect he didn't think he'd been in this situation before. Usually - Ariane aside - if a girl was in his room, that was the point, wasn't it? Still, it was weird and funny and adorable at the same time; he didn't know which emotion to feel first.

"Thanks!" He giggled out, wasting no further time in drying himself off. The towel ended up on his sopping wet head and he quickly dressed in the borrowed clothes, pulling the draw strings on the pants to keep them on his bony almost non-existant hips. "Okay, I'm dressed! All safe, sorry again Mols, I didn't think it through. Guess you're pretty shy, huh!" It was less a question and more of a remark, but it was harmless and innocent anyway. He didn't mark that level of shy as a bad thing; he just thought it was funny, that was all.

Molly kept herself in her self-imposed ‘time out’ until Jeremy deemed it ‘safe’ to look. She trusted him not to trick her. Please no nudey shots, please no nudey shots…Molly slowly and cautiously turned around, and cracked her fingers so that she could hesitantly peer through the gaps. Okay. She breathed an audible sigh of relief when she saw that he was clothed, and finally lowered her hands. Her face was still very much red though. “…O..oh it’s alright, Jeremy, really! Um…Shy?” She echoed. She hadn’t thought about that before, and her brows furrowed. “…I…I guess?” She sounded unsure. “I mean…it’s….rude to stare, right? People like their privacy…?”

She thought about that for a moment as she went to go retrieve the clothed she had adbandoned in favor of wall-ninja-ing and then grabbed a towel of her own. “…Um…I’ll…be right back…I promise!” That being said, she quickly excused herself out of her room and went to the bathroom down the hall.

It was his turn to think about it. "Oh, I guess..." Another notch on his 'not thinking' belt; he'd been awake for only a few hours now and he was already a seasoned pro.

Well, Molly tried to go down the hall to the bathrooms. By the time Jeremy realized what she was up to she had already made it out her door, which meant he broke into a quite sudden run to catch up, managing to grab her wrist before she got to far from him.

"NO WAIT!" He cried a little belatedly, pulling very gently on her wrist to urge her back to her room. The trainee was oddly insistent and once he had her back in her own place, he grinned at her.

"This is your room, remember?" Then he turned around and left through the door, closing it behind him. THERE, now that felt right! With a pleased hum he moved to sit down, his back to the wall just beside the door itself.

Molly actually jumped when she heard Jeremy’s cry from down the hall, and turned her head just in time to see a bright mass of dandelion hair in her vision. She squeaked out in surprise, stilling as her wrist was grabbed, and then next thing she knew she was being led back down the hall and to her room. She then stood there and blinked stupidly as Jeremy left and then closed the door. She stood there for a good few moments.

O…okay…

Regaining her senses, Molly took the time to towel off as well and change into her clover pajamas, tossing her clothes, and Jeremy’s into her laundry basket. She’d do that first thing tomorrow when she got up…and wasn’t in her pajamas. Toweling off her hair, which was now starting to lose its length and go wavy, Molly went to go open the door, poking her head out and beaming at Jeremy.

“All good…!”

Jeremy was having a grand old time by himself in the hallway, humming away to a nameless tune in his head and accenting it with drumming fingers on his knees. It seemed like an eternity there by himself, especially since no one came down the hall, which meant nobody to ask him what he was doing there, which naturally robbed him of a story of chivalry and heroism.

Molly did however startle him when she appeared in the doorway again, but as always he was quick to recover and to smile away as if nothing was wrong. Which was true.

"Sweet!" Hopping to his feet and dusting himself off, he then wandered into her room again, looking around thoughtfully before setting his gaze on her. "So how didja wanna do this, Inspector?"

Molly stepped back into her room as Jeremy came in, and at his question, she froze. Something about it…seemed kind of…funny. But luckily, they had talked about this before they dove out the window into the rain, and Molly snapped her fingers and quickly latched onto a safe topic. “Oh, right! We said camping out in the floor with pillows and blankets…um…” She tilted her head.

“Is that still alright with you…? Because if not…just let me know and we can work something else out!”

"TOTALLY alright!" Jeremy nodded eagerly, still way too excited about a camp out on his first night out of the pod. Sure he would have to sleep alone one day, but today was not going to be that day.

And then Kichy hit send on her phone without meaning to.

"You know what?" He mused suddenly, a nice thought hitting him. "How about I get the blankets from my room?" It seemed brilliant to him: he already had his pillows here, why not add to it?!

"Wait right here!" The trainee took off like a bolt out of her room, tearing down the hall to his own dorm. It didn't take him long to pull all the decent covers off of his bed and throw them on the ground behind him.

It was made too nicely anyway.

Before long there was a familiar kick to Molly's door, not unlike the one he had given when he first came to visit. This time though, it was a bound of blankets that he was drowning under.

Molly smiled at him, and nodded her head. “Alright…! I’m glad!...Uh…okay…” She blinked. “I’ll…wait here…I promise!” The Mist trainee stood there awkwardly in her room for a few moments before she started to busy herself with pulling out her spare blankets from her own closet. While Jeremy was gone, Molly had started to arrange cushy layers on the floor, and her door was still left open when he returned, kicking on it. Her head snapped up. “Oh! Come in, come in!” She ushered, and then came over to help him out.

She took a good portion out of his arms, and giggled once his dandelion head became visible once more. “It will be like we’re sleeping on clouds tonight!”

"YEEEEES!" Jeremy agreed loudly, stepping into the middle of the room and looking over his shoulder at his new friend. "They stay where they land, yeah?" That grin definitely seemed like he was up to something incredibly stupid.

Then, with a huge grin, he bent at the knee right before shooting into the air, throwing the mess of blankets high above his head. The mass of fabric flew and then fell, most of them landing pretty hard on his head; not that he seemed to mind at all. He slouched and giggled until all the blankets either hit him or slid off of him and onto the floor.

“Uh…I gu—“ Molly couldn’t help but thrown her own arms up and over her head out of reflex, peeking between the cracks in her arms as Jeremy made it rain blankets. She also flinched when quite a number of them landed with a hearty thump back on him. Once all the blankets were on the floor, Molly straightened back out, blinked, and then laughed.

She moved back over to her door and closed it, and then turned back to Jeremy. “Now it looks like a nest! It looks very comfy.”

"Doesn't it?" Jeremy agreed loudly, nodding his head and looking around his nest of blankets, clearly approving. The trainee then stepped gingerly out of his little nest and headed to the bed, where all his pillows were stored. "Don't forget Mols, they stay where they land!" Then proceeded to toss the pillows onto his little nest, some extending it, others filling in the Jeremy-sized hole in the middle, and some built up the nest walls.

When all of his blankets and pillows were taken are of, he stared at her expectantly, waiting for her to follow his lead.

Molly just continued to observe off to the side, watching as Jeremy pulled his pillows, and she nodded her head vigorously. “Oh yes, I know!” She reached up to scratch her cheek thoughtfully though. Well…what blankets were they supposed to cover themselves with if they couldn’t touch those ones? She stared at the nest for a long while before she noticed Jeremy staring at her expectantly. “…O…oh! Right…So…uh….hmm…y-yes…” She hopped over the nest and went to her bed, where she pulled off her pillows and tossed them into the nest as well.

She then pulled off her blankets from the bed, and looked over at the Sun Hunter. “But these are for us to cover up with, alright?” She dropped one blanket on one side of the nest, and then the other on the other. “…Alright…! Um…does everything look good?”

"Deal." He agreed, nodding...and then he clapped as he thought about it. "You're very smart, you know that?" The blonde watched her add to their little nest, and when she seemed to finish it up he eyed it, wanting so badly to just dive on in and roll around in the cushiony warm awesome. Alas he managed to hold back but shifted his weight from one foot to the next like an eager child.

"What are you waiting for? Jump in!" He made diving motions to her, trying very hard to be the gentleman to let the lady go first.

Molly couldn’t help but blush a bit, reaching up to rub the back of her neck. “Oh gosh, I’m really not.” She laughed, not at all realizing that she was holding up Jeremy from diving in by…not diving in first. She stopped rubbing her neck and looked over at the young man, blinking at him stupidly for a moment. “…O…oh!” She exclaimed. Of course, Molly was not going to dive though. Nuh huh. So first she turned off the light, and then came back over…and did a little hop into the nest.

She then calmly laid down, and pulled the blanket snuggly around her. “It’s very soft!” She informed him, smiling at his shape in the dark.

Jeremy blinked in the sudden darkness, and then grinned at her shape. He knew it was comfortable and soft, he just knew! When he was sure that she was comfortable he hopped - rather literally - into the nest, unaware of just how close he came to actually pouncing on the Mist Hunter by accident. He rolled around on his side of the nest for a minute before he grabbed a corner of his designated blanket and started rolling again, only happily becoming a Jeremy Burrito.

"Hey, Mols?" He asked quietly, torn between being a secret and having lights out as a sort of time out; either way if they were too loud, they'd get caught and put in time out.

"Thanks for letting me stay." And, much like a kid just before nap time, Jeremy was already feeling sluggish, even going so far as to yawn.

Molly paused as she got comfortable…because Jeremy was rolling around beside her…she could hear it and feel it…and she couldn’t help but laugh at the mental image. It was terribly cute and amusing. Once she settled in though, that was it for her, and she pulled the blanket up to her chin, grasping the end with her fingers as she stared up at the dark ceiling.

“…Mhm?” She made a soft sound to let him know she was listening. At his words, Molly’s lips parted a bit in surprise. That was rather…touching on a level, and Molly took a moment to think about the day today. She had only known him for well…a day, and here he was, in her room, having a sleep over. That was kind of odd, huh? While Molly was naturally a kind and caring person, to be sharing space with someone she just met was a surprise as well. Funny enough, she felt very comfortable around the young man. There wasn’t any worrying about doing something wrong…and she felt like she could just…be. It felt natural to be doing this right now, despite the short time she had known him.

Molly turned her head, making out the outline of his dandelion head in the darkness. “Not a problem.” She murmured back, sincerely, smiling. “…Anytime you want, alright, Jeremy? It’s okay anytime.”
"Okay." He promised, nodding. Anytime sounded awesome, he'd probably take her up on that offer. Jeremy rolled onto his back, practically sprawling in his burrito, and let out another loud, very animated yawn. He shouldn't be tired, he'd been sleeping for a year, but...Molly was sleeping, Molly had to sleep. So...he'd just...humor her...

And then he was out like a light.
