Truth be told? Sailor Orpheus was upset.

For years he had lived his life as a human and for years he worked hard to make up for an obvious missing piece. Two years ago he had been kidnapped by space terrorists otherwise known as senshi and during his kidnapping they corrupted him into one of them. To him, it meant they made him a senshi and this particular incident had stolen all he had worked for his measly life. He was pissed off for two years, hating his life for what it become, and now? Now he learned that he was always this piece of trash.

It infuriated him.

It made his blood boil.

He knew he couldn't go home like this so instead he was on the hunt for something, someone, to take his frustrations out on. He refused to simply be a terrorist though. He didn't have to be a bad guy, there were plenty of people in this city that were looking for a fight and he reckoned most of them deserved to have their face punched in.

The Squire of Neptune stood at the top of a building, glancing over the cityscape, as if trying to decide which route to go. East or West?

He held the Quill of the Ocean, turning it from side to side, as if weighing the options with the sabre. East would bring him to a shopping district, West would bring him to the red light district. As distasteful as it would be for a gentleman such as himself to go to the red light district, there were perks. It was easier to find the scum of the Earth there. Which meant it was very likely he'd find a Negaverse agent or two to question.

Before he had come to a solid decision upon his own, a third option arose and left the other two choices in the dust.

That energy...

It was definitely an agent of Chaos.

The lad move his weapon to his side before he moved in the direction of the source of energy. There was a sort of acknowledgment in the back of his mind that he definitely could not be caught with his guard down. However, considering where he was rushing off to, there still seemed to be some sort of recklessness lingering within the Squire.

Eventually a rather flamboyant looking figure dressed in darker colors came into view. Still maintaining his manners, he called out a neutral "....Evening, sir."

There was an aura getting closer to him and normally he might power down and pretend he didn't exist but this time was different. This time he stood there and waited, taking an approximate guess to the direction the owner of the aura was coming from. He'd been right, meeting Nysa almost eye to eye. he turned slightly to correct his error in judgement before crossing his arms.

The friendly greeting threw him but the weapon said something else entirely. It might not have been readied but it was there.

"You come all this way just to greet me or you come to fight?" He said rather cockily.
PostPosted: Sat Apr 13, 2013 7:01 pm

Nysa did not seem put off by the question he received back in reply to his greeting. At this point, the suspicions were almost a default when it came to interacting with the opposing forces in the hidden war. His weapon was still lowered at his side, but held in a manner which would allow him to brandish it if the need arose.

"I came to seek information."

If force was necessary, Nysa would use it as needed. However, he was not going to mention such a tactic to the Dark Mirror Senshi before him.

"...I would appreciate your cooperation

With that he straightened up, keeping the Quill of the Ocean by his side, and taking on a posture more suited for a guard. "Have you ever met or heard word of a senshi that went by the name of Neptune?"

Sailor Orpheus shifted his weight to the left, and then to the right. Curiously, he studied Nysa's movements. He wanted to be prepared because he'd taken part in a decent amount of thrown downs but never a knife fight. Hand to hand combat was one thing but when you threw a weapon into the fray things changed.

Pulling back to reality due to Nysa's question, Orpheus' mouth opened and then closed again before he finally found the words he wanted to say.

"If I met a senshi named Neptune I would beat the s**t out of them for fun, why do you ask?"
PostPosted: Mon Apr 15, 2013 9:00 am

His words had no true information to them, merely a hypothetical. However, it was a very aggravating hypothetical. Had he not been in such control of his outward appearance, his sabre wielding hand might have started trembling from rage.

Any hint of warmth vanished from the Squire's expression, leaving this unnamed Dark Mirror Senshi with a cold glare.

"Are all Senshi of your sort such delinquents, or are you just a special case?" His weapon had been lowered before, but now he lifted it up, readied to lunge at the foul opponent in front of him. His Princess' honor was at stake, and it was now quite evident he wasn't leaving until he got some satisfaction.

His eyes lay on the squire's weapon with caution but his body held itself firm, his arms appearing to be relaxed beside his body but the truth was he stood with no major weak spots. He had no magic to attack the squire with and that meant his body would be his weapon of choice. It put him at a bit of a diaadvantage, stacked on top of the rank difference. It wouldn't be any fun of it was easy, right?

Orpheus smiled, and then when Nysa asked of all senshi like him were delinquents he let out a bellowing laugh that caused his hole body to shake. Of course all senshi were delinquents. Even worse, senshi were terrorists. It was in this state Orpheus decided to accept his horrifying fate an simply give into the universe. It clearly wanted him to do this and even after years of him saying no and avoiding it the experiment's objective changed.

"This is what senshi do," he said with little charm before he attacked Nysa's wielding side in an attempt to disarm him. When that failed, he did his best to parry any counterattack by ducking down and swinging his leg smooth acoss the ground and toward Nysa's legs.

Nysa would not allow himself to be disarmed so easily. When his opponent lunged to his right side, the Squire hopped back in a practiced manner to avoid the contact. Despite the action going about, the teal-haired fellow was still taking in quite a bit of detail.

"Perhaps it is what your kind of senshi do, but I know it is not what all senshi do." He had noted the generalization of the young man's reply, which did not sit well with the Neptunian Squire.

Rather than go in for the offensive immediately, the Squire once more hopped back as a leg attempted to trip him up on the ground. Nysa was at the advantage, but he wanted to make certain he kept this advantage.

He held out his sabre in front of his face, narrowing his eyes slightly as he concentrated upon drawing out some magic he had yet to use, but somehow knew was residing within the Quill.

Orpheus opted to scoff at Nysa when he insisted it was simply his kind of senshi that did those sorts of things, and that's it. He had no desire to sweep his sad story to the world, and at this moment the only thing he'd like better than a pizza covered in olives and pineapple was kicking Nysa in the face. So, after Nysa dodged his attack that's what he tried next.

It made it easier when Nysa stood still like that so he threw a good roundhouse kick his way.

The magic he attempted to summon up was not simply something he could just turn on and off upon a whim. No, Nysa needed a bit of time to get the energy to flow properly from him to the weapon.

Despite the distance he had put between himself and his opponent, the Dark Mirror Senshi was not letting up in the slightest. It probably had something to do with the height differences between the two. Longer legs meant it was easier to fill in the distanced gaps.

It was an underestimation upon Nysa's part.

Soon enough a foot was being swung about at his face's level. There was time enough to react, but several factors already started to filter into the Squire's thoughts about what he should do specifically.

He could have used the Quill of the Ocean to parry the attack, but the Squire would have needed to be a fool to not realize that would cause more damage to his weapon than to the Mirror Senshi.

He could have jumped out of the way yet again, but he most certainly would lose his concentration upon his weapon. Not to mention the fact he'd have to deal with this exact same dilemma if he made distance again.

The only conclusion he could come up with that might not completely compromise his work with summoning forth the magical connection between himself and the Quill was to jerk his arm in the way of the blow. The foot still connected solidly to cause decent discomfort, but Nysa's efforts weren't completely wasted.

"...I must confess, you are only further proving my point, sir..." The words were not in jest, but completely serious.

With the defending arm, he shoved the foot away (if it had not retracted already), then held out his weapon in front of him further.

Now he was ready.

As swiftly as he could manage, he nearly pounced forward, lunging his weapon towards the Dark Mirror Senshi's chest. His training was in Sabre fencing, it only made sense to try for such a target above the waist. All he needed was a touch...

Orpheus's foot collided with Nysa's arm and he didn't seem to have any problem with it in the least. He was happy enough to have hit him, not particularly caring where. Why not, right? Why pretend to be nice when he was born a senshi? He apparently could get away from his fate so he may as well get over it act like one.

Stepping back, Orpheus readied himself for another attack. In particular, a counterattack when Nysa came at him with his weapon. He moved to block it with a rather cocky expression but when it touched him and he moved in for an attack of his own, his expression changed entirely. The graceful movements of his legs turned on him and he found himself stumbling back.

"What... the ********?" He spat out, looking at Nysa unpleasantly. He didn't power up, he didn't get involved and he wasn't as aware of magical attacks as he should be.

The bait had been taken, and soon enough Nysa had distanced himself slightly after his weapon had contacted the Dark Mirror Senshi. Had this been more like the sport he frequently participated in, he would have backed off completely. However, it was very evident that this fool was now quite open.

The Squire had to take advantage of such an opening.

Quickly, he lashed his quill towards the opponent, still aiming high. This time around, his blade went to try a touch to the young man's cheek, tempted to nudge up a bit to get those dark shades covering his eyes. However, the young man resisted temptation, and merely went for an attempted clean cut.

"...mind your legwork, or you are prone to lose an eye..." he advised in a very distant tone.

With that, he pulled back slightly only to lunge again at the young man, this time aiming for his collared shoulder. He had no intentions of impaling, since his weapon was far too weak for such, but a simple slice was all he needed.

A clean cut to his cheek caused Orpheus to move back, attempting to gain his balance. His hand fell to his cheek, sliding down and wiping the blood away that had swelled around the surface. Afterward he drew his hand to his face, scowling at the blood on his fingertips. If Nysa wanted to play like that then Orpheus could play like that too. His play was a bit more intelligence based though, and with a simple smile that was uncharacteristic, he slid the glasses off his face as he moved ungracefully out of Nysa's next attack.

His blood had been boiling but feeling it swell to the surface and wiping it away brought forth unwelcome feelings for the senshi. There, he looked at Nysa in quite a charming manner. His charming look in effect, Nysa would be feeling a lot more friendly toward him for now. Using it to his advantage, he didn't counterattack. He simply stood there, contemplating leaving while he had a fine chance to.

Instead, he thought of using it to his advantage. He would use what Nysa thought as a friendly manner to get closer to him then he would get close enough to get in a good enough hit to make up for the slice on his face.

"Argh," he whimpered, stumbling toward Nysa. "Someone attacked me."
PostPosted: Tue Apr 30, 2013 10:00 pm

It was odd, but with just a glimpse of the young man's eyes, things felt different. The color of this senshi's uniform no longer seemed to matter. The dark aura that he gave off no longer seemed to matter.

However, one thing that could not change was the words which had been spoken earlier.

Nysa had always been the sort to manage his emotions with individuals he was familiar with. There was an odd formality to him, even amongst his peers.

Perhaps the only clue that Nysa's terms with the Dark Mirror Senshi had changed was that he put his Quill back to his side, no longer pointed at the dark haired man. His voice still had a sort of sharpness to it, but it was more subdued than some of his previous tones.

"Pray tell, why would you say such a thing about Neptune?"

The fact that Nysa had lowered his weapon was a good sign for Orpheus, causing him to smile in a very friendly manner. He had gotten so far, he wasn't about to give up his magic now. He didn't make any suspicious movements, but he also didn't stay still. He moved toward Nysa casually, his body slumping as if he had a burden to carry.

"I'm sorry about that but earlier," he sighed, slumping back on the heels of his feet nearby Nysa. "I met this guy earlier and before he attacked me just because of the colour of my outfit, he went on and on about how he'd deliver justice for Neptune," he said as quickly as he could, to make it take up less time and appear as if he was recalling an upsetting memory.

He hoped it was a good enough story, but he hadn't met that many knights before but what he remembered of them they served planets. If that was the case, this one must serve Neptune. It would have explained why he got so upset over the remark he'd made.
