It was getting dark, the perfect time for someone to slip into an unsuspecting camp so that a person could steal what was needed and slip out before anyone noticed. There was nothing better then a nice wagon dragged around by unsuspecting men he thought to himself as he crept closer, using the many rocky structures that were all over Sauti as cover. He needed some supplies, mostly food and maybe a skin to carry water in, he'd take the stuff and these fools would be none the wiser. The halfbreed with the scarred up hide moved ever closer, keeping an eye on the beasts that pulled the cart, making sure that they wouldn't rouse the two that owned it.
"Hn... where's the good stuff." He murmured to himself in a quiet, rumbling voice as he got closer, his yellow eyes narrowing slightly and then he perked up a bit when he saw that there was still a bit of food left from the meal that the two men had eaten. He just had to grab the spit and carry it off. Not much in the way of meat but better then nothing... now, for the water skin he thought to himself. Looking around carefully. He could see one of them sitting on the step that led up into the cart, perfect. Now that he knew where the things were located he just had to do what he always did, that being getting in and out without being seen. He'd been watching long enough from a distance and he was pretty sure the two men were asleep. As such now was the time to strike!
The man pushed from to his feet, though still moved in a careful, somewhat hunched over manner, as he moved toward the cart. He would get the water first, that was the most important thing. Once it was secure then he would grab the spit and run. The fire was but smoldering coals now so it was likely that it wouldn't be too hot to carry off. With his plan in mind he hurried along, careful to avoid any fallen sticks or loose rocks, not wanting to make any sounds that would risk waking up the two men or make the beasts of burden react in a manner that would do that for him. Damn animals, they were only good for eating he thought to himself, hating how they doubled as guards sometimes. At least these ones seemed dumber then some that he had run across in his time.
As he got closer his eyes seemed to light up, hand reaching for the water skin, aching for a drink. When he'd had a drink last it was hard to recall, as such he would drain this the moment that he had it in his possession and he'd gotten himself cleared of the camp he thought to himself in a delighted manner.

Having traveled for.. All of his life, there were just some things that Lusala just knew to do before going to sleep. Putting food away, packing up everything except for their sleeping mats, and number one... Relieve yourself FAR from the camp. Today was one of those days that he just.. Had to go SO badly that before everything else was taken care of, he just ran away, hiding in the darkness while the old man headed for sleep. The night sky was quite lovely today clear to the point that even as far from camp as he was, he could easily see everything, and managed, after a few hours of.. Difficulty managing his bowels, he could return to the the camp with ease.
Something was off, however, a shadowy creature seemed to be slinking around the fading fire of their camp. Of course the old man wouldn't notice anything. He never did, once he was fast asleep.. It would FIGURE that Lusala would have to be the one to defend camp. His father would have his head if a bandit would steal all of their wares.. From the distance where he was, he watched the creature move about their camp. So far, sure, he was sneaky and suspicious, but it didn't seem to be after the things of actual worth.. No, only for their food.. As he moved a bit around the camp, the fire finally captured a good image of the creature, and it seemed to be a man, one who didn't quite look like he was from around this country..
Lusala silently moved towards him, his radaku claw mace drawn from his waist.. He was no fighter, not like his father, but if he created enough racket, then perhaps the creature would leave in peace, or atleast his father would wake up. He managed to get close enough to the other with little effort, his light weight attributed to his silent footsteps, as well as the familiarity of the landscape. Lusala managed to get close enough to speak in a hushed voice so that only the creature could hear him.
"You know.. If you wanted some food, You could have asked."

Hearing the voice behind him Oulixes seemed to freeze in place, many thoughts running through his head, the first and foremost being that he had been seen and that had to be taken care of. Whirling around to face the blond his eyes narrowed, not having expected that the younger of the two merchants wasn't sleeping as the older one was. From his squatted down position his yellow eyes locked on Lusala, his hand curled against the ground, and then he moved. The first thing he did was flung a handful of sand at the face of the other man, not one that hesitated when it came to fighting dirty, and from there he threw his full weight into him, sending the two of them crashing to the ground.
Lifting himself up slightly from the body of his victim he glared down at him, teeth barred slightly as a wild animal might do, and even gave a bit of a growl. So this was the one sneaking up on him? Just some weak, soft boy he thought to himself before he lifted a hand up grasp hold of the blond's throat, holding it firmly but not enough that he couldn't breath, "You will keep quiet." He hissed out, everything about him from the way he hovered over Lusala to how tense his body was all screaming that he was dangerous. He wasn't the sort that trusted others, if he ever heard or acknowledged what Lusala had said it was hard to tell, not that he'd believe such words. People were all selfish creatures at heart and as such he had to watch out for such dangers, this blond being one of them. He'd alert his older companion if given the chance and they would likely seek to punish Oulixes for acting the part of the thief, something he wouldn't allow.
"I am taking what is left of that meat and I am leaving." He growled out his captive, "And you... you will not scream for help from your sleeping friend or else I will be forced to silence you!" He hoped that he sounded sufficiently intimidating because he really didn't want to cause him anymore harm then the sand and the tackle already had, just wanting to take the food and water before disappearing back into the darkness.

"A-ah!!" The sand was something he hadn't expected! Lusala personally thought he was being quite kind to the other, basically telling him he wouldn't start any trouble even though the other was invading their camp! And yet here he was, on his back, being threatened by the other with angry growls and a hand to his throat. His eyes were squeezed shut, trying to blink away the dirt and sand. The old man though.. He still stayed sleeping soundly in his little tent, oblivious that his son was in such a compromising situation.
Being the cool headed boy he was, he simply let the other pin him down, waiting to be let up, as well as waiting for his eyes to clear.
"No need to leave, you know." He spoke calmly, his voice a near purr in an attempt to calm the wild man who was ontop of him. If it were any other situation, he would have more than willingly let him keep him that way, as long as there were love bites and moans involved. But, no, this wasn't quite the situation!
"I would be more than happy to make you something fresh to eat, and give you a bit more for your travels. Surely hot food would be better than something cold and near frozen, right?"

No need for him to leave yet? He was pretty certain that the one that he had pinned down had something off in his head. Surely he should want for Oulixes to leave by now. He wasn't someone that anyone wanted around after all he thought to himself bitterly before he gritted his teeth, "I have no reason to stay once I get that food." He would have supplies enough to keep himself going toward... well, whatever his next destination would be. Somewhere else in Sauti, maybe, or further afield. He wasn't sure yet. All he knew was that he was going to be leaving sooner then later and nothing the one under him said would get him to stay.
Something he found himself considering forgetting even thinking about when he was offered something fresh to eat as well as supplies for his travels. Hot food would be good... but did he trust him? What was to say he wouldn't wake his companion? He might attack him the moment he was up, drug the food, he couldn't be trusted! Giving a shake of his head Oulixes shoved himself upright onto his feet, glaring down at the blond, "I don't trust you not to poison my food. Not to mention helping me will gain you nothing." He said, moving toward what was left of the food that these two had eaten earlier. Not much to it but still more then he'd had since leaving home. It was due to the fact that he hadn't eaten much since then, save what he could pillage, that made him desperate enough to attack the blond.
He just wanted to grab the meat bone and carry it off along with the stolen water skin, though whether he could or not all depended on the troublesome blond. What was it that he was up to? Surely he was plotting something, it was the only reason he'd be nice to someone like Oulixes after all. He knew damn well what he was and it was nothing like what the blond was, as such he couldn't turn his back on him.

"Poison.. Oh goodness no. If you don't trust me, I'll continue to taste it as I cook. Anything that could kill you would probably take me out twice as quickly. After all, I think we both know I'm not as strong as you are. And Probably not as sturdy against wrongly cooked either. I'm a bit of a lightweight." As soon as the male got off of him, he pulled a cloth out of his belt band, using it to clean his eyes, which still burned with the sting of sand. Atleast now he could open him.
And even in the darkness, the man before him was a sight to behold.. He had yet to seen anyone with such scars as he had.. And yet.. It did not frighten him in the slightest. He wanted to run his fingers down each one, softly asking where it came from. Never in his mind did the thought of abuse come across, instead, thoughts of brave battles, and daring adventures danced across. After all, this man did break into his campsight without a second thought, right?
"If you do not wish to let me get you something warm, how about I atleast set you off with a pack of supplies? Some extra water, dried meat, things like that." He didn't mind giving such things away, after all, small things like that would come out of his own salary, and he only ever horded it. Somewhere, buried in the ever perilous land of Sauti, there was a quite huge chest of gold that he had been saving for.. No particular reason. But that was a secret he wasn't going to share.
"And.. Perhaps some fresh clothes..? You look like you've been though Sauti without knowledge of the landscape.."
