Residential Area - Aekea The Facktories' needs for ever-greater concentrations of workers meant that they typically grew up in an urban setting or fostered their own urbanisation. Industrial slums developed, and re-enforced their own development through the interactions between factories, as when one factory's output or waste-product became the raw materials of another factory (preferably nearby). Canals and railways grew as factories spread, each clustering around sources of cheap energy, available materials and/or mass markets. This led to the birth of Aekea's 'residential area'.

Faster then Gamma's suit Gammu was doing recon as he casually jumped from location to location. While on the ground Gamma was quicker Gammu had the ability to rapidly respond and engage targets at medium range.
Having locked into position the Thermite Molten Cannon (TMC) his right hand had brought the 40mm gauss cannon into position. His HUD was lighted up with displays as he moved over a residential area.
Firing a short burst from his retro rockets he came down atop an apartment. The strcuture was weakened and the ceiling partially sunk at the force of his landing. Moving off the edge he dropped to the side walk in a crouched position. His shield was up and covering his body as he tracked the area.
Opening a link to his brother, "We have natives, they don't look hostile."

Suddenly, the spirit of excitement jumped from the shadows. "BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" it exclaimed, chest pushed out in ecstatic glee.
With that, it moved on. It was a busy spirit, after all.

"Confirmed." Gamma responded over the closed commline, only audible to himself and Gammu. This Gamma knew already, he had already floored several in his rush to show up. Sprinting was easy, avoiding people was even easier when you carry this kind of force.
He turned to open road, looking to find his brother. A silent imperceptable signal erupted from Gamma's armor, a signal that would show up on Gammu's sensors.
"HEY! Any of you assholes see a shard around here!?" Gamma shouted, doubling his voice with a computer, as he usually did. Swearing in this new language was simple and almost second-hand for Gamma. Doubting his results, he'd have his answers regardless.

A light flashed on the HUD, "We have an energy spike. Could be what we are looking for." The sensors swept the area right around them, focusing on the spot he sent the cordinates to Gamma. "Time to see what this is all about really."
Rising from his crouched position he began a series of jumps that would bring him on course with the energy spike. A soft ping echoing in his ears that grew more rabid as he came closer.

Laughter? Good thing his auditory receptors were better than his ears. Gamma drew his riotgun in an expert motion, clearing it's place on his back and straight to a ready position in his right hand. His left pulled a magazine from his thigh and slammed it into the rifle as it charged.
"Hey! Anyone listening?" Gamma shouted, again, moving for the coordinates, sprinting down the street still.

And there was nothing but civilians running from the scene.

Cursing how things weren't going as they should, but then nothing ever did in war. Changing direction he took to the east while telling Gamma to move in the other direction. "Send radio contact if you see anything unusual."

Nihilistic_Impact Cursing how things weren't going as they should, but then nothing ever did in war. Changing direction he took to the east while telling Gamma to move in the other direction. "Send radio contact if you see anything unusual."Gamma sent a nonauditory signal back, the equivilent of 'Confirmed'. Turning sharply from his course on the road he jolted north, leaving a noticable path of wreckage as he pushed through the debris of an alley.

The one place that looked to be clear of any structural damages, but the tell tail signs of Gamma were clearly seen. Opening the comm link, "Only one more direction to go. I'm waiting." His sensors swept the area once more to see if there was anything.

"Gammu, I'm here." Gamma spoke into the commlink with Gammu. His voice staggered due to his high heart rate and heavy breathing.
Gammu was up ahead, waiting.

"Keep that kind of pace up and you'll depleate your gear too quickly. We don't know how long we'll be in the field." Shifting his head the mono-lens zoomed in and out as the computer took in everything. Moving the TMC back to its place he kept his hand free to move towards the 40mm on his shoulder or stun baton. "Let's do this." Moving in the last direction they could go he left the area entirely.

Gamma dismissed this entirely, his gear could withstand a lot more than running. It'd be by luck that something could disrupt his armor, but Gamma would enjoy destroying whatever tried.
He followed Gammu, slowing his pace gradually.

Enter, stage North.
There had to be a place to eat around here... that's the first thing Lazenca tried to take care of. While in small corner stores or at side-shops purchasing the simple foods with drying bills, he inquired about anything odd happening in the area.
From the looks of things [and the lack of activity posted], there would be no encouraging answers. Laz could only nod and accept the meal he paid for- a can of beans [blue runner brand] and a bag of jerky [pemmican ftw]. It wasn't gourmet, but it would help him get some of the energy back that he had foolishly burned during recent scuffles and all his running.

"Uuurp..." The release of gas was welcome, and Lazenca pounded lightly on his chest. "Eh, excuse me..." He made sure to shell out the money for a sports drink or something. He could drink plenty of water along the way, but needed more 'fuel' for his body if he was going to keep on like he was.
After throwing that can away, Lazenca thanked whoever it was he talked to and moved on to the next area- a little slower, until he was sure that his food was settled enough to gain speed without losing everything he'd just put down. Exit, stage East.
